Seems to me that everyone can make there own decision. Why don't your posts include ALL of the information (positive and negative)?
Or maybe you make these one-sided posts AFTER you've purchased the security.
If so, that moves us into a much different discussion. Self serving promotion, disclosure and of course those dreaded securities laws.
You know how the game works, weren't you already a defendant in a previous case? "known or should have known".....
IMHO, this JBII is seeing way too much promotion/spamming. Makes me NERVOUS when I see that much touting.
Hans, thank you for the kind words. No need to post phone numbers, papers are usually delivered via Fed Ex.
Thank you again for putting this stuff in writing. That will make things much easier.
....raise your right hand....
LoL
They usually unlock those during the proceedings.
I believe you will get the chance. We'll just be on opposite sides of the table.
Be sure to wear a suit.
YaknowwhatImean?
Vegas sounds good. Who else is going?
One of the issues I see with TBUS, is the bank covenant. The term loan caps at $8 million, but the way the covenant is written they can only draw up to $6.2 million at 6/30/09.
As of 6/30 they have another $2.8 million left to borrow on the revolver.
Why is this important? Because the borrowing formula is based on AR and Inventory balances. If you look closely, you'll see that they've written off inventory for obsolescence, and the AR balance has increased almost $6 million when compared to 12/31/08.
Catch-22 when dealing with an AR and inventory based borrowing base. You want to collect the cash quickly, but this HURTS your borrowing ability if you don't pay down the line when you collect the cash.
They may need to stretch vendors to manage cash. Note how AP has more than DOUBLED in just the six months ending 6/30/09.
Long GE $15.16....eom

Hey Brad,
I received the PM. I'm unable to reply, so....How've you been? Oh, almost forgot....
Is this a good stock?
Just playing what I see on the charts. Any snow yet? Been crappy here in Georgia recently.
Is this a good stock?....eom
BAC has ranged $17.20 to $17.40 for most of the day. I still feel that $17.20 is a support level.
I'm playing this a bit riskier than I normally would, but given the circumstances, I'm holding my entire position over the weekend.
My cost basis is $18.26 for the first trade and $18.10 for the second trade.
Have a nice weekend all!
Nice work!
I have not sold any of the BAC (yet). Trading at another resistance level of $17.20-ish now. I had no chance to bail at $17.80 prior to the open today. Watching and holding for now.
Broader markets...Well after GE's release today, I say short term lower. I think the 10-K on the Dow was a mirage. Right now I'm watching housing starts, venture capital, IPO's, unemployment, the commercial real estate market and of course the dollar. All of these suggest negative territory for stocks.
I see no rosy signs, but that being said, I'm not comfortable shorting the market like I did in the summer of 2008 either.
What about you?
I purchased more BAC at $18.10 today. Mental stop in the $17.80-$17.90 area.
I see this as a "soft" floor, so I'll watch closely and dump if this moves below the floor.
The VGPMX filled at $20.36, higher than I expected. I have a bunch of qualified money at Vanguard, so I'll buy their funds once in awhile.
Anyway, not familiar with FNMIX specifically, but I also own a bit of VEIEX which is up 62% YTD. Similar sector, so I'm sure you are a happy camper! Congrats!
Are you shorting anything these days? I'm long plus cash, but I've considered shorting the 10 year Treasury.
Enjoy!
Not familiar with this puppy, but in spending a few minutes researching, it appears that the business model is flawed.
According to the link below, ethanol has historically sold for a higher price than unleaded gasoline. The government subsidies (on which the business model is based), drops the price below gasoline. The problem with that however, is that ethanol contains about two-thirds of the heat energy of gasoline. So on at BTU basis, ethanol is still more expensive.
Alternative energy is fine, but at what cost? If I'm the CEO, I would change the model. If he has a track record of turnarounds, you may have a shot. Creditors are in line though (followed by a likely class action) so the turnaround would take years.
Henning seems like a smart guy, but it appears he is close to 70, and formerly retired. He is likely just a bridge to clear the creditor issues, and I'll guess he bails after that.

Will be adding a nice block of VGPMX at the closing price (should be around $19.60) today. I see gold moving to $1,300 over the next six months and I like the sector now.
Good luck to all.......
I remember seeing that Vertical Branding symbol plastered all over the internet by the touts (yourself not included obviously).
What happened anyway? I haven't followed this, I'm following "other" securities.
Have a good one and TIA.
Long BAC $18.26, stop at $17.90. Not much resistance on the one year until this reaches the $20's.
The thing I don't like is the psychology of 10,000 on the Dow. If the Dow can sustain a break thru five figures, I believe banks could lead the way to 11,000 quickly.
I met Sam Antar at a conference a few years ago. Eddie Antar was the CEO, and I believe Eddie remains in jail.
I still remember the TV ads for his electronics business...Crazie Eddie's prices are insane...
During the conference, Sam described how easy he could still fool/fraud nearly everyone in the room (of about 1,500 people). With that, half of the people in the room walked out on Sam.
I stayed, because he is right.
Is this a good stock?...eom
Rawnoc, your explanation is incorrect.
Plus, if the CPA is "worthless to him" (your words), then why was that included in the PR? There are thousands of licensed CPA's that don't practice in public accounting. You obviously have NO CLUE in this area.
Further, you seem to AGREE with me that he is not licensed in Florida.
Don't get too dizzy spinning in circles.
LoL
Brig,
In what State is Ron Baldwin a licensed CPA? The Florida records indicate that his Florida CPA license expired on 12/31/08, and his name does not appear when searching in North Carolina.
???????
TRTN is DOWN over 6% so far today. If this security is so wonderful, who is DUMPING shares, and why?
Is this a good stock?...eom
down, I don't challenge the legitimacy of the company, I don't like the one-sided promotion.
For example, an employee of TRTN (he admits to being employed), posted multiple messages similar to the one below...

dragon, TRTN is a $20 in the making. We should be there by years end. The revenue forecast by years end I hear is 100 million, including the chemical company they are buying
http://investorshub.advfn.com/boards/read_msg.aspx?message_id=39406842
Then we have the poster "guzaling" who admits to having received shares of TRTN without paying. He predicts $5/share "soon" in multiple posts (no disclosure). Zardiw has a website called "Palm Springs Brokerage Services" but admits that he is not licensed. Zardiw is probably the worst tout.
There are more examples, but you get the idea.
Again, I don't challenge the legitimacy of the company, I challenge the methods and people involved in the one-sided promotion.
Hans,
You've been SPAMMING this TRTN on at least FOUR boards for months. Plus your DD is of the one-sided promotional variety.
If TRTN is such a good company, is the promotion really necessary?
Have a nice day.
Hans, you seem very upset about something. Why so emotional over a stock?
LoL
Seems TRTN is being heavily spammed. That WORRIES me.
rpg101, why are you avoiding my questions? I'm replying DIRECTLY to your posts, but it seems you are now worried about something. So, I'll try again....
Can you confirm that you are an employee of TRTN? Also, do you report to the Cambridge, MA office as part of your regular employ?
Thank you in advance.
What are you trading these days?
rpg101,
Can you confirm that you are an employee of TRTN? Also, do you report to the Cambridge, MA office as part of your regular employ?
Thank you in advance.

Sold off all my BAC at $17.20 a few minutes before the close. gain of .60 per share, but I had a ton of shares.
Since I focused on swing trading only BAC and GE beginning in May, every trade has been successful, winning streak is now 10 complete trades in a row.
100% cash in the trading account now.
Took the gain on GE, but I sold too quickly it appears. I still have a small stake from reinvested dividends, I'm not going to chase and buy more at this point.
Still holding a large block of BAC at a $16.60 basis. May look to unload that today. I'll post real time if I do.
I do not challenge the legitimacy of the company itself. I have concerns about some other things.
The SEC and PCAOB are now aware of my specific concerns.
Have a pleasant day, and good luck!
zardiw,
Alydyr2009 copied/saved all of your posts on that "other" board before they disappeared.
IMHO, you are now on the regulatory radar screen.
