about Vision Capital Advisors, LLC
Vision Capital Advisors, LLC is an SEC-registered investment adviser. Vision Capital Advisors, LLC specializes in making value-oriented investments in fundamentally strong small public companies in the US and abroad.
Adam Benowitz. If I see the other investments in China it would be realy good to know why he is invested with this 9 % of the shares.
Benowitz is also very interested, although extremely cautious, in China and the rest of Asia. “In China, practically every company is a growth company,” he says. “Their infrastructure has been neglected for so long, and now the whole country is exploding with growth. Just about any company — even one that makes water purifiers — is a value stock that can be too attractive to ignore.”
Vision invested early in China. One of its most successful investments was American Oriental Bioengineering Inc. (AOB), a leading Chinese manufacturer of products in the fields of nutraceuticals and pharmaceuticals. AOB uses proprietary processes to produce soybean protein peptide more efficiently than with traditional extracting techniques. Soybean peptides are used widely in general foods, health foods and medicines, among other applications.
Vision recently sent a deal team leader, John Finley, and analysts on yet another of several weeks-long due diligence trips to China to examine companies.
“The way we invest, the downside is somewhat mitigated,” Benowitz says. “I mean, if a company earns a certain amount of money, the stock can only go down so much. We’re not hedging. That’s not what we do. We’re old-fashioned investors. That really is what we are. We hedge the market, but we don’t hedge any stocks.”
That doesn’t mean the Vision overpays for growth. Benowitz and Cohen strive to emulate Warren Buffett’s investment philosophy. Although the billionaire investor is famous for value investing, less well known is the fact that some of his best investments have been made through PIPE deals. While Buffett plays in mega-giants like Gillette, Vision Capital is focusing on the micro-cap and small-cap arenas.

Water market to open further
(chinadaily.com.cn)
Updated: 2007-04-20 15:36
China will further open its water market to foreign investment to help address the country's issues of increasingly scare water supply and waste water treatment, according to officials attending the China Water Congress 2007 in Bejijing today.
"China's demand for water will continue to increase in the future as the country continues its process of rapid industrialization and urbanization. And so there are promising business prospects in the water industry, both in water supply and water waste treatment," said Qin Hong, deputy director of the Policy Research Centre under the Ministry of Construction , at the two-day congress, which opened yesterday.
During the 11th Five-Year Program period (2006-2010), total investment in China's water industry will top 600 billion yuan (US$77.72 billion), 200 billion yuan of which will go towards water supply systems construction, and 400 billion yuan will be injected into new sewage treatment facilities, Qin made the announcement to the congress, which attracted about 300 water business leaders from countries including France, Germany, Australia and Japan.
In the meantime, China will build 1,000 new sewage treatment plants. By the year 2010, the rate of water supply systems will reach 90 percent in all 661 of its cities. Qin adds the rate of waste water treatment and recycling will increase to 60 per cent.
Apart from these development plans, China will also start a number of sea water and middle-water treatment projects and the reconstruction of some out-of-date water facilities.
The development of China's water industry will provide tremendous business opportunities to overseas water investors. And to achieve its goals, China needs the support of overseas funds, stressed Chinese officials at the meeting.
"Foreign investment will be encouraged especially in waste water treatment projects," Qin explained. The congress is a platform to help foreign water companies to learn the recent developments of China's water industry and the business opportunities in the future.
on the google finance group someone told that a Taipan Finance Newsletter had alert CHWG on Friday. Maybe in Asia they know more.
Huge work investor, very helpful. Many thanks!!! And my respect too.
I will watch CGHI - Centurion Gold. Maybe Í found them to late.
What the conclusion from today? CHWG down 16 %? Normal selling preasure. Whats the truth about this company? Was it a mistake not sell today and jump to Titan. Titan shows a 35 % plus.
I have my stop-loss for CHWG and probably in the morning I have to jump. On the other hand, Stockta is showing CHWG with a clear bullish situation. Others will know more about this company. The volume was over 4 mio. Not all of the buyers could be idiots and would like to loose money. But at the end, with a jump to Titan in the morning and slling on the highest point, which was 0.09, an increas of 50 % was possible. So did I lost $ 1000 today. Tomorrow will show. Titan will rise again. And CHWG?
so where we are? Stockta says 100 % Buy.
http://www.stockta.com/cgi-bin/opinion.pl?symb=CHWG&num1=8&mode=stock
And under Reuters I found a full company overview.
http://stocks.us.reuters.com/stocks/fullDescription.asp?symbol=CHWG.PK&WTmodLOC=L2-LeftNav-8.5-FullDescription
I believe tomorrow will show the truth about this stock.
sorry for the mistake with the webside!
For today: Titan is well running, but I will wait up to the end of this day. The potential I see is 0.4, actual it is 0.084. My target for China Water is 1,0 or more. After hours I will decide if there are chances necessary for tomorrow.
First investment China Water Group
To start this project I bought on Friday 10.000 shares of China Water Group, CHMG. The price was 0.19. Actual the perfomance is over 60 %. So now I own $ 3100 for the moment? Let´s see today.
I ´m watching a Silver investment, Titan Resources, TNRI.
So this one looks like a good investment in Silver.

If I read all this, looks like the last day, that this share is so cheap.
Buy signal is confirmed, imo this will run, for what reason ever
so if you are not invested anymore, why you are here?
This is simple and clear. Have not understood where all the discussions come from.
Sure there is an risk, but I would believe that with Thomas P. they have a different asset in their basket. This company looks actual very successful and probably for Ivoice it will be the first time of a glory story.

NEWS-IVOC iVoice Announces Filing of Registration Statements for Three Spin-off Companies
http://www.hawkassociates.com/ivoice/ivocpr29.htm
Matawan, NJ, November 17, 2004 -- iVoice, Inc. (OTCBB: IVOC), a leader in speech-recognition technology, announced today that three subsidiary companies, which iVoice intends to spin-off via dividends to shareholders, have filed registration statements on Form SB-2 with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
The registration statements each relate to the distribution by dividend to all Class A Common Stock stockholders of iVoice, Inc. of up to 10,000,000 shares of iVoice Technology, Inc. Class A Common Stock, Deep Field Technologies, Inc. Class A Common Stock, and SpeechSwitch, Inc. Class A Common Stock, respectively.
After each of the registration statements is declared effective by the Securities and Exchange Commission, holders of iVoice Class A Common Stock, other than affiliates of iVoice, Inc., will receive one share of Class A Common Stock of each subsidiary being spun-off, iVoice Technology, Inc., Deep Field Technologies, Inc. and SpeechSwitch, Inc., for every 874 shares of iVoice Class A Common Stock that they hold. These figures are subject to change based upon the final number of iVoice shares outstanding as of the record date for each distribution. Following the distribution, 100% of the outstanding Class A Common Stock of each subsidiary will be held by non-affiliates of that subsidiary.
iVoice Chairman and CEO Jerry Mahoney said, "With the filing of the registration statements with the SEC, we have taken a major step forward in the process of spinning out these three companies to our shareholders as non-cash dividends as a way of providing additional value to shareholders."
The distributions will be made if and when SEC review of the proposed transaction has been completed and the registration statement is declared effective. The distributions are not a reverse stock split by iVoice.
Registration statements relating to these securities have been filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission but are not yet effective. These securities may not be sold nor may offers to buy be accepted prior to the time the registration statement becomes effective. This release shall not constitute an offer to sell or the solicitation of an offer to buy nor shall there be any sale of these securities in any state in which such offer, solicitation or sale would be unlawful prior to registration or qualification under the securities laws of any such state.

NEWS-IVOC iVoice, Inc. Announces Intention to Spin Off Speech Recognition Software Subsidiary To Shareholders
http://www.hawkassociates.com/ivoice/ivocpr27.htm
Fourth Spin-Off and Fifth Distribution to Shareholders
Matawan, NJ, November 5, 2004 -- iVoice, Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: IVOC), a leader in speech recognition technology, announced today that it intends to distribute to the company's shareholders all common stock shares of its newly formed subsidiary, SpeechSwitch, Inc. When completed, this would be the fifth common stock distribution issued by the company to its shareholders including Trey Resources, Inc., iVoice Technology, Inc., Deep Field Technologies, Inc. f/k/a iVoice Technology 2, Inc. and Corporate Strategies, Inc.
The iVoice board of directors authorized management to pursue a strategy designed to unlock the value in the company's speech recognition software by spinning it off into a new independent public company, SpeechSwitch, Inc. The assets that will become part of SpeechSwitch include the Speech SDK, Speech Enabled Auto Attendant and Name Dialer, plus two issued patents and two patents pending.
Subject to final review by the SEC, holders of iVoice common stock will receive shares of SpeechSwitch common stock on the record date, which has been tentatively set by the iVoice Board of Directors as December 1, 2004. The payment date will be as soon as practicable after the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission declares the SpeechSwitch registration statement effective. The ex-dividend date will be established by the NASD pursuant to their authority over the OTC-Bulletin Board. The stock distribution will be detailed in a Form SB-2 to be filed with the SEC in the near future. The spin off transaction is not a reverse split of iVoice stock. SpeechSwitch plans to list its shares on the OTC Bulletin Board.
iVoice Chairman and CEO Jerry Mahoney said, "We are confident that this transaction will provide the three separated companies with the capital structure and focus required for long-term growth and success, which will offer compelling value to the market and enhanced opportunities for both companies."
"iVoice will retain its core patent pending technology, including its 'Talking Pill Bottle' technology and its patented technology, such as the 'Voice Item Locator.' iVoice expects that its primary business activity will be the licensing of its proprietary technology. iVoice plans to file additional patents in the field of talking products in the near future. Toward that end, the company has recently hired GlynnTech to assist in facilitating various licensing opportunities," Mahoney said.
"iVoice is still very interested in acquisitions, particularly in candidates that represent excellent growth potential, are in a viable and stable market segment and employ management teams committed to the organization's success. The prospective acquisitions may or may not be in the same industry as iVoice. The company still has over $6.8 million in cash on the balance sheet, which will be used to fuel our acquisition strategy."
Earlier this year, iVoice spun off Trey Resources, which closed on its first acquisition in June 2004 by acquiring an operating company with sales of over $2 million. iVoice has determined that the best way to create shareholder value, separate and apart from the operating performance of iVoice, is to implement these spin-offs by distributing shares of these subsidiaries. The successful Trey Resources spin-off demonstrated that the mechanism works and established further opportunities for both entities.
