DKAM: Exciting news piece out. You are welcome to make 1000% on DKAM if you take control of the future now. Only beverage company out there professing 300%+ growth that is happening now. In fact, only stock across several exchanges calling for 300%+ growth in this economy. Plus being in acquisition mode makes it the simplest clone to HANS there is out there. Not even HANS was posting 300% growth in their fourth year.
Read the article out yesterday and make the freakin play. It's just too easy not to. In Greenwich, you know, where every hedge fund on the planet is located?
http://www.greenwichtime.com/ci_11365680
300K shares on the ask gets it to $.40; 700K gets it to $.70; 1.3 mil shares gets it to $1.20 for 1000%. 18 cents is the rock pivot, when it breaks, .28 comes quickly. All the shares have been sucked up. No float.
It has never been any easier for a beverage stock.
Silly season buying now. So many penny runners everywhere. Somebody is about to show up and run uss up over a buck as it will take nothing to get there. Nothing but air. Everybody parked on bids waiting for cheap shares will not get a single one of them. Once it prints .20, the days of the teens are gone for good. And amazing that 90% of the people here will be chasing the remainder of their shares they want at twice the price.
With TRMP soaring now and all these other littles being run by the hedges, you need to get your asses off the bids and buy up the ask. As soon as it hits .20, they will come from everywhere to run it to join the party.
Learn how to make money.
Let me see now. All the episodes for Celebrity Apprentice are in the can except for the finale. All the Celebrity Apprentice episodes are tied to celebrities doing challenges each week for charity. Walter Reed Hospital is a charity and a good one. Trump announced and is behind the donation of $1 off every bottle of Trump sold between now and July 4 to Walter Reed Hospital. Celebtrity Apprentice 3 airs on March 1 and will conclude in early June. Kenny announced that Trump Vodka and Flavored Vodkas will be featured on every episode of the upcoming Celebrity Apprentice as a closing toast to each contestant being fired. Trump wants anything he does to be successful especially where charity is concerned. I will expect now to see an episode of the upcoming series to be devoted to Walter Reed Hospital and just perhaps a good bit of attention paid to his line of vodkas.
Great find Adis. Good article. Misspelled Maillard but beyond that, caught all the bases.
That isn't Kid Rock beer to the left, so don't get too excited just yet. It is a bottle of Rheingold. More to come on this topic. Stay tuned!
And yes, the Trump and the Willie's have been opened! It's the holiday!
Mr. Juliano must have had a hedge fund come with him for the interview. He says the company is $25 million in value.
That is 29.7 cents per share.
There is no possible way to read that incorrectly, or interpret that as you have except to distort and continue to cast negativity on a very positive environment for DKAM.
As per the financing in December 2007 the particulars of that deal would force a raise from 100 mil to 200 mil authorized shares so warrants could be issued for particular milestones. The shareholders now have to approve that same raise to 500 mil AUTHORIZED on 1/15/09.
There is nothing stated in print, nor has the CEO indicated any additional shares of stock are being issued at this time other than they could be IF they make any acquisitions that would require them to do so as part of that particular deal should it come about.
Any questions??
Ohhhhhhhhhhhhh sing it Sammy!
Yes your honor. Guilty as charged!
"With InBev making the deal they have to have a party or two in mind to sell this off. The Labatt brand over the years has had many third parties and despite that the brand has continued to grow and thrive."
Check the back label while you're drinking it and see if our stock symbol is on the can yet.
Then check the next and the next.
For those who look for such things. Most of these are the fresh price lists for January 2009 that have been submitted to the CT Liquor Control Board. Our Cognac is significantly higher priced than the Martell VSOP on the 750. About comparable on the XO.
Interesting that not a single price list includes Labatt from the other 6 rumored or confirmed bidders for the license. I guess that comes later since they can only add after the deal is closed.
Also, Wild Turkey still on Pernod's Price List.
TSPV is now called "Ultra" huh? LMAO I guess then Trump Platinum would be something the market has never seen.
Here is a sample of what Phils is referring to. I don't think it much matters if the prices are different as long as it sells. After all they are distributors and they are competitive. GK is listing per case prices only it seems. Ask Billy. He has to pay about $180 for a 6 bottle case of Trump.

I only asked for one thing for Christmas. Not much. Just wanted to walk up to the bar after having a scrumpuous dinner at the Sheraton on January 15 and order an Aftermath Cognac without the bartender looking at me sideways.
Looks like that will be a reality.
Perhaps we'll do well to start asking why we have TWO branded labels for the same product.
Here's the front end of the horse
http://www.aceofct.com/
Phils, it is fine especially if it is this link. They will find out eventually.
www.biznet.ct.gov/DCPOpenAccess/LiquorControl/DisplayItem.asp?ItemID=480880d2-f98b-4627-b952-66f9d5679706
After all, if we're going to sell stuff and then have record sales and then exponential growth and then get listed and then get bought out, I guess we can't keep our prices a secret forever.
lmao
Uhhhh OK. I'll bite. Ummm. Let's see delicate like.
If it is in a link, it is in the public.
No wait. Better yet. A Trump party pack manufactured as a covert military operation never to sell a single case.
Maybe we should rethink our strategy. Wouldn't want to get in trouble for telling people what something costs that was really never for sale.
And last I heard he was washing it down with Trump Platinum.
Ooops! Left out part of my post I see. Two statements. Two phone calls.
Oh well
Just called the Labatt office at Fountain Plaza in Buffalo to speak to my cousin that works there. I asked to speak to Mr. Kenny. He said he just left to go to a meeting and then to lunch but would be back in this afternoon getting his office organized. I'll try back then and see which brand of champagne he wants us to bring to the annual meeting.
Any "good" DD-ophile would be remiss if he didn't examine both sides of a stone before turning it over. (Think about it!)
Anyone can waste their time with examining the past all they want to when it relates purely to the present and nothing else. If we're going to look at the past and give the CEO his proper due then we have to look no further than September where he signed A CONTRACT with H. Pixel for 15 years. This contract calls for various product minimums to be purchased by H Pixel for the contract duration. Again in the past, the Shareholder Letter in December indicates the various parameters of that CONTRACT which at a minimum provides for no less than 72000 cases per year of Trump Vodka to be bought and paid for. The first 20000 cases of that first year's orders are being completed now as announced and forecasted.
One agreement. One deal. 15 years.
That number alone represents more than a 1200% increase in Trump Vodka sales over the past 6 months alone.
In December, the company announced a second deal in Germany for roughly half the value of the H Pixel CONTRACT with the second CONTRACT parameters calling for a product mix that is roughly half that of H Pixel's across the board.
These two CONTRACTS represent more than 100,000 cases of Trump alone to be shipped and paid for....at a minimum. This is now representative of more than an 1800% increase in Trump Vodka sales over the past 6 months combined. It is also representative of a 200% increase in the average annualized case sales of Trump Vodka over its first two years of introduction.
The result is this "exponential" growth rate announced IN CONTRACTS THAT WILL BE PAID FOR in the past now has the stock 95% off its highs from the initial Trump introduction.
In December, the company announced that Trump Flavored Vodka will be on every episode of The Apprentice in the 2009 series. This will be the largest advertising initiative for the product since its introduction. In December, the leading body of Spirits recognition announced Trump Grape Flavored Vodka was "The Best Tasting Flavored Vodka In The World" by awarding it the Platinum Award. That past recogntion led to an immediate 2 containers of additional product shipped to distributors to handle the demand.
Toyota has always been the leading car sales company. Go ahead and bang away at past sales. This quarter marks their largest loss in history at more than $1 billion. Over 70% of the Fortune 500 companies have just announced their worst quarter in the past 30 years, if not their history. I'm so glad these 7 figure analysts herded the masses into these stocks with all their lofty sales and profit projections from all their due diligence.
The purpose in doing Due Diligence is to uncover opportunity where opportunity exists. To ignore certain parameters of the past and focus only on other factors to support an argument is not Due Diligence. It is Due Ignorance.
And when some one not at all knowledgable controls a message forum and talks it into the ground and then takes delight in talking the stock down for over two years, I would call that beyond unprofessional.
Someone who does that IMO, has no right to ask or even tell or even insinuate anyone else not be allowed to talk about the stock, the implicatons, and further due diligence. PK already said he will talk about what is in the public domain and as far as he can disclose at this time.
Funny how as soon as he did that, somebody calls in with rumors circulating that he was bidding Labatt and Wild Turkey. PK adressed it. He talked about it.
But here we sit with this contingent who seem intent making sure this board does not talk about anything that PK hasn't already discussed.
I have never seen such a concerted effort to make sure this stock goes no where until after the fact.
Buy the rumor, sell the news. Buy low, sell high. It's all the same and when the bashers start jumping all over the most knowledgable people on a message board, that is usually the time a stock is about to take off.
Still waiting for you or the other two to offer any credible DD to the board.
Those projections for having something to offer rather than sit back and chastise others and post nothing of value have been coming true every day!
Just rode by Fountain Plaza. Nice place. Great city, great location.
Schumer just didn't send the letter to the right companies.
Spent my Christmas holiday in Buffalo. :)
And this post couldn't be more on topic.
Trust me, not one single post I have ever put up was for yours or PKG's benefit to learn and be educated. They are for those eyes that are watching and learning that have found all the really good info get buried in past pages because of the relentless negative posts that went on for months.
That's the way it works right? Talk about anything so as to divert attention away from the things that are real and credible.
NO, do you monitor how many cracks I step on while walking down the sidewalk also?
The orignal articles out were saying it was a three year license only. Then they realized their own mistake on the issue.
It is a perpetual license. The license calls for product to be produced and provided to the licensee for three years; undoubtedly at cost IMO. Then the licensee must have a brewery selected.
My point was a good bet for DKAM as they have three years to show what they can do to improve or expand the brand and then sell it back to InBev.
What difference does it make anyways? Let's just make sure we're a bidder. Then if we are, let's make sure we win the darn thing. Then once we win, we can argue whether it goes to single digits or double digits based on such merits.
Awesome Ore! So, we have learned more. The Leyrat Cognac label has the Violator logo on it, and it says imported by: Violator Imports, LLC. The Topless Sparkling Vodka label you have clearly shows the same Violator "V" but also the "A" logo for Aftermath Entertainment, which is also the same logo they are using for Aftermath Beverage Company.
I guess for sure we doing "sharesies."
Also with Dre and Lighty on this product line, it will sell huge and not fail.
I disagree completely. I've come to find out it is a perpetual license meaning as long as the company sees fit to hold the license. Just like our Leyrat Cognac. It is a perpetual license for US Distribution which essentially translates to owning the brand for the stated geographic, or in Labatt's case, the name and operations.
It is a three year license, however, in brewing and supplying product to the licensee. They shall need to find, secure, and begin brewing, or if they already have a brewery, then begin the formulation transfer process to continue the Labatt "special" formulation of their own accord. At this point, after three years, the entire Labatt name shall be divested.
Should DKAM win the bid, if as some might contend they are bidding, they can move headquarters to Buffalo and will have three years to continue operations as Labatt would wish, as well as integrate their other brands ino the distribution chain. In addition, they can fold the line of Kid Rock beers in under the Labatt umbrella, as well as give Rheingold a go again from either the Labatt brewery, or from Kid's new brewery which is still unnamed but is selected now.
What makes this such an interesting situation if DKAM is bidding, is that out of all the known bidders: Crown, Diageo, Constellation, High Falls, Boston, City Brewing, DKAM would be the ONLY one that is going through a current expansion and introduction phase. It would be the ONLY company utilizing and implementing an iconic format to its line of beers. As such, it would be the ONLY company that could effectively change the Labatt name for the better making it an attractive acquisition target for none other than InBev at the end of three years. Of course, at a much higher price tag than it is now where In Bev is currently being forced to sell at fire sale prices.
I checked my stocking and still no news but we'll give Santa til the end of the year to come back around after checking the naughty and nice list one more time.
So, going back to the decrease that he called for in SG&A to more normalized levels, along with streamlining operations, and global expansion, as well as continued icon introductions, along with acquisitions to grow the business, then I would have to say he is doing EXACTLY what he said he would do.
The only thing missing is sales and that falls to customers and distributors. Are we going to hold PK solely responsible for the recession??
Apparently many have been doing so for quite some time.
Tick tock, tick tock. Who is going to add and load the boat before Labatt is announced, and who is going to be chasing after??
Merry Christmas!
Containers are shipped and sitting on pallets in Dubai awaiting some sort of clearances from Authorities. That's all we know. Call the Dubai customs officials.
This board in the top read boards every day now. Like I said, we have company ever since the talk of Labatt and Wild Turkey started. Seems the "boyz" wnat to spy on what we have to say. We surely will have to keep some secrets to ourselves now!
I suggest everyone get here, register, and hang out. Could be loads of fun.
http://violator.ning.com/
No I don't Phils. I haven't seen it either. But just as well I spose. Jake is growing up and the show is losing its luster. He went from a funny kid to just another displaced and maljusted teenager. Also what about Crucial Films?
We will pick up Lighty and 50's new Indie Film Company with this new deal that is already putting out movies and one to come in early 2009.
I'm impressed! You have taken the DD trail to new heights.
Now, for the next level that PK won't touch. These holidays will be filled with notifying these client lists that even though they don't presently have an endorsement deal with Drinks, they can participate via their hedge fund associates that they all deal with.
That should get a buzz going from coast to coast. I'm on it!
Yes Ore, Schinman is the horse's horse in endorsement deals and he and Kenny have forged a great relationship. The good thing about Schinman is he can waltz into the doors at William Morris and say I have a vodka or a cognac or a tequila or any of our beverages, and the rats get on the phone calling all their clients from the biggest of the big to bigger.
I particularly like the part where Phelps took a stake in a tiny Texas company that didn't exist 3 years ago.
Everyone is looking ofr a new hook in this economy and we may just have found it; emerging growth through iconic recognition.
Oprah started it. PK can finish it.
