I have a '69 Chevelle in my garage now that I have working on for about ten years.
Ran out of energy and motivation.
Phil
I would cut a piece of plywood to size for security, secure it to the inside of the window with screws, and then do the duct tape and plastic on the outside as Tex suggested.
You can omit the plywood if it's an upstairs window.
Phil
I had a '69 Chevelle with a 350/300 4 speed and it wouldn't have held a candle to my '95 Firebird.
Phil
I had some sliced fresh tomatoes for breakfast this morning.
Next best thing to a BLT.
Fresh sliced maters, home fries with sauteed onions, bacon, fried eggs over medium and toast.
Yumm, yumm.
Phil
How big is the window?
Phil
I love garlic on my steaks.
Thankfully have never had a stake.
LOL
Phil
I did a little research earlier today and the V8 Camaros are available with either a 400HP or a 426HP version.
Either one should should pin you to the seat.
I had a 300HP Firebird Formula that was awesome. I can only imagine what it would have been like with a hundred more HP.

P.S. Unless you have already joined, there are a few more free memberships available On Talkzilla. It's a car site started and now owned by Bob Z. Click on the link in my profile and join if you haven't already done it.
If he was a vampire, I would use the stakes on him and feed the dog his steak.
LOL
Phil
My problem is that I live alone now and most of it would go to waste.
E-mail me a slice.
LOL
Phil
just hang in there and be patience.
It was the Georgia soil that made them so sweet, and Vidalia County, GA is the only county with that same soil, or so I have been told.
Phil
Although I seldom eat desert of any kind, that sounds great.
Phil
I buy vidlaias when they are available too, but I don't think they are true vidalias any more.
They used to be seasonal but it seems you can get them almost all year now.
Phil
The handle is Golbug2, but she/he signed the post as Goldbug2.
There is already an active poster using that handle:
http://investorshub.advfn.com/boards/profile.asp?user=84846
Phil
True, but I'd still rather have it hot with butter on it.
Phil
A friend of mine eats Vidalias like apples.
I'd rather eat an apple.
Phil
You think I would let someone help me cook that doesn't know the difference between steaks and stakes?
Not going to happen.
Phil
If I get one I want it to be dark red or burgundy:
I think I can do without the stripes, but they might be cool.
Phil
Try Go-Jo.
Works as good and smells tons better.
Your hands don't stink for a week.
Phil
And it will take a week for the smell to wear off of your hands.
Phil
There are two V-8s available in the new Camaro.
400HP and 426HP.
Should scream.
Phil
I thought white porcelain sinks had gone out of style in the 60's or 70's after they had invented stainless steel sinks.
Just kidding.
I know they still make them, but I would never have one.
Phil
I wonder if a new Camaro would outrun that?
I'll bet it would be a close race.
Phil
Opposing(negative) views are usually beneficial to those shorting the stock... would you not agree?
If we were discussing real stocks of real companies I would have to say that your opinion holds some merit.
But when discussing penny stocks, almost nothing except opposing viewpoints and negative opinions are truthful.
Phil
You can use graphite grease in place of lithium grease on some car parts like door and window mechanisms.
To be honest, the big can I have is a gov't issue can. I don't know what the gov't uses it for.
Phil
I agree that you can disagree with someone without calling them a liar, but that statement is what started this thread.
VV posted this:
From my viewpoint, saying "a poster is a liar" and saying "a post is a lie" are fundamentally different things. One violates the TOU and the other does not.
......................................................
They both violate the TOU, IMO.
Now,
Like you just did, if you disagree with someone, explain why you disagree with them and it opens a dialogue.
If you had simply posted:
I disagree.
And with no other dialogue, it would have been a noise post.
Phil
The site has grown so big that they had to add a load balancer, because one server couldn't handle the traffic. They have four servers, Ihub is on 3 and 4, SI and Talkzilla are on 1.
Anyway, the load balancer is not up to the task and is what's causing the slowness periodically. From what I understand a new one is on order.
Sometimes you can stop your page from loading and hit the refresh button and it will load instantly.
As far as posting the same post numerous times, I know Ihub causes it at times, but there are two things you might be doing that will cause it.
One is hitting the back button to edit a post. If you do that a new message will post instead of editing the original one.
The second way is hitting the post message button more than once when the hang ups occur.
Phil
I know a guy that eats sweet corn raw.
Crazy.
Phil
I might have to try that.
That's what I think I hate about raw onions. The bitterness and the sting.
I think they ruin the taste of a hamburger.
Phil
Morning Bob,
Yes, that new Camaro is super sweet. I might get one when I sell my house. I'm torn between that and a Vette, but the Camaro is more versatile and a lot cheaper.
Has he got one with a V8? If so, it should pin you to the seat when he hammers it.
As far as veggies, there are not many I don't like if they have cooked a little, just enough to make them tender, and almost none I like raw. Like broccoli for instance. Love it cooked, hate it raw.
Phil
I have big can of graphite grease, but you wouldn't want to use that.
You would need to use the powder.
Phil
Graphite would probably work.
It's a powder.
Phil
It would have to be something that is not a grease or a liquid, or else it would collect dirt and dust.
Phil
You can have all of the raw onions you want, just save me some to sautee.
Phil
Larry,
Try parrifin wax.
Phil
Raw onions too, IMO.
I honestly can't eat them.
Phil
I can't eat raw onions.
I love them cooked, but can't stand them raw.
I can't see how cooked onions would add anything to a BLT.
I love sauteed onions, green peppers and mushrooms on an italian sausage hoagie though. With some spicy mustard.
Phil
I'm going to try basil and maybe some garlic the next time I eat a BLT.
That sounds great.
Phil
If you are posting On Topic facts, with no personal attacks and no Off Topic BS in the post, you should never have a post removed.
Unless you are spamming the same facts over and over more than twice a day.
Phil
I'm not real crazy about salads, but I can eat it in salads.
I think the sliding around part is why I don't like it in sandwiches.
That, and I can't taste it.
Phil
