I would like a sign 2nd from left...how do we arrange
thx
Baz
LOL...EOM
Yes; SINODDAX is at fault here. There after, it's partners release info to the public. MOO.
Wall...and all
IMHO...this AIM listing =Nomad =DD=looking for investors up front(which Nomads also have a hand in)..see AIM listing Timetable (google) 1st link.
All this Cypherin and Phineaglin, ala, SEC documents being cleaned and condensed,is for total disclosure requirements for AIM listing.
If so, then ERHC is seriously starting their business plan(s)= they "KNOW" this is the right time in their history to exit puberty.(one way or t'other)
P.N. talked about timming
All ..IMHO
Baz
Good Luck All

thx for the laugh..especially " that topic is outside the scope of this post"
always entertaining us geniuses!
Baz
Strass:
IF we truely have an AGM in april...and proxy's out end of Jan. ,then we should know prior to the meeting what we are voting on. Who Knows...LOL
Baz
emdyall:
the minor problem! IMHO
"our perception"..meaning the ones that follow this board that think similarly to your post...should step back and reevaluate how "they"(I'm not one of them), expect the flow of the news.
Many here, including me ,accept the PSC and the details surrounding either "tight hole status"..or just SINODDAX's descisions on how and when and yes, IF.
in due course; is our guidance, with hopefully timely snippets along the way from our PR. .......Believe or Not.
Hopefully Baz
P.S.every hole punched so far has been a wildcat in such ,as the wells drilled were the first per structure.Imagine the success for wildcat wells globally?....not very high. Dry holes are easy to evaluate...pack it in and move on down the line ..or quit. These events are usually pr'd in a timely manner.
Personaly?....Im VERY happy there is "ENOUGH FOUND" to keep drilling and an extra option well...AND... to scrutenize over. All IMHO.
mccr:
welcome to the ERHC ENERGY venting board.
It's not in our hands.good luck to us all .
there will be news out!!!!!
"in due course"..P.N.
Baz
emdyal:It's all just noise...let SNP dupe SEO,(think that will happen?).....even agaist all our "still here" odds?
The common share holder will either sell at HIS/HER price...(with buy out)....or fly on SEO's coat tails for the long run.
It's in SEO's hands not ours...NO MATTER WHAT THE OUTCOME.
Baz
TRY:
article says well completion was on nov.27th...
7 days of drilling?
something isnt right OR imo..
their testings and evaluations for this well, are not complex, and easily understood.so maybe we are comparing apples to oranges here, and SNP doesnt want incomplete reports (delay tactic?)for what will be released "in due course".
prediction: March 18th....MOO
Baz
DG:
just from memory...I thought Addax promised 3 wells fast tracked in block 4....not sure if this was part of psc...but Lemba was actually the real option slot as Addax promised the drilling before they had stakes in block 3....all IMO
Baz
Mid:
so you are blaming this lack of info that you seek...on ERHC's shoulders.
I hear you very clear as all of us do.
Lets Fault ERHC for your and OUR impatience.
IT's the new reality
sorry Im not with that program...Be well and keep up the belching ...you just might make ERHC sick enough ...Ya that might help.
Good Luck
Baz
partners or not...IF SNP wants "ALL QUIET" they will get it.
Seems STP or JDA might speak out of turn now and then, but they are in an co-ownership position, and any repercussion against them would not work.Paid or not we are still carried and under SNP's Vail untill SNP Unvails
a) time lines
b)drilling results with some technical info
c)development plans for phase 2
as long as there is a need for silence it will be so.
Untill the real noise
here! here!
Baz
Mid:
direct this complaint to SNP.
We have a free carry to fist oil with them.
contractually we are obliged to them for all we are about to receive.
Baz

they keep telling us that it looked like possibly quarter4 2009...which really isnt that far off as yet..with a caveat..that it could be longer...this was before spudding OKIE EAST...nothing to GRIPE about now is there?
ERHC has said it will be a long extensive drilling campaign before and are now sticking to this.
ERHC has never said they would release info well by well OR that there was a DATE stamped for a PR(even though (we hope) the AGM happens this april).
You are beating a dead horse
start reading the ERHC web page...

ERHC Energy Inc. Updates Shareholders on Drilling in the JDZ
HOUSTON, October 8, 2009 – ERHC Energy Inc. (OTCBB: ERHE), a publicly traded American company with oil and gas assets in the highly prospective Gulf of Guinea off the coast of West Africa, today issued the following update on Company activities from Peter Ntephe, chief operating officer.
To ERHC Shareholders:
I am happy to report that drilling is progressing on schedule in the Joint Development Zone (JDZ) Blocks in which ERHC has interests.
Addax Petroleum Corporation (“Addax”), the operator of JDZ Blocks 3 and 4, has finished drilling a well at the Kina Prospect in Block 4 in which ERHC has a 19.5 percent interest. Based on the early analysis done to date, the well encountered hydrocarbons, but a detailed evaluation of information from the well has only just commenced so it is far too early for any conclusions to be drawn on the extent and quality of the hydrocarbon system encountered. A comprehensive analysis that incorporates the drilling results into relevant geologic and fluid models will now be carried out.
Following the initial drilling operation in Block 4, the Deepwater Pathfinder has moved to the Lemba 1X well location in JDZ Block 3 in which ERHC has a 10 percent interest. Exploratory drilling at Lemba 1X commenced yesterday. We estimate it will take approximately five weeks, although the actual timing is dependent on many factors, such as drilling penetration rate, fluids encountered, borehole stability and equipment maintenance, among others.
Once done with the Lemba 1X well, the Deepwater Pathfinder will move back to JDZ Block 4 to drill two additional wells. The specific drilling locations of these additional Block 4 wells will be determined in due course.
Sinopec JDZ Block 2 Limited (“Sinopec”), the operator of JDZ Block 2 in which ERHC has a 22 percent interest, has also finished exploratory drilling at the JDZ Bomu-1 well location. Based on the early analysis done to date, natural gas is discovered, but again a detailed evaluation of information from the well has only just commenced so it is far too early for any conclusions to be drawn on the extent and quality of the hydrocarbon system encountered.
This is an exciting time for the ERHC family. When this initial drilling campaign is completed, a total of five wells will have been drilled. Each well will be evaluated using several standard oilfield methods and the rock properties and reservoir fluids will be measured and evaluated.
As we stated previously, the purpose of this process is to test scientific conclusions and gather additional information. The information from these wells is helping the exploration team understand the geology and hydrocarbon potential of the various prospects being drilled. Perhaps more importantly, it is helping us understand the prospectivity of the entire area. This is a highly technical process that takes considerable time. The parties are working to ensure that operations are conducted to the highest industry standards. The focus is quality of work put into each well, not undue haste.
We are as excited about getting drilling results as the investment community is. In accordance with the practice in the JDZ, accurate, material information on the progress in the JDZ Blocks will emanate from the operators or the Joint Development Authority. ERHC will publish such information in a timely manner in accordance with our contractual and regulatory obligations.
The operators will determine when it is appropriate to release the drilling results. Sinopec has announced that its drilling results might be released in the fourth quarter with a caveat that such release is contingent upon numerous factors. Addax is expected to provide guidance in due course on the release of its results.
We appreciate the support of our shareholders and share their excitement. If you have questions, please submit them to Dan Keeney, our investor relations representative, at dan@dpkpr.com.
Sincerely,
Peter Ntephe
Chief Operating Officer
Mid:
WE are not TD'ing 1 well but 5 in what seems to be..IMO.. a development project....AND we are not the operators...VOC was/is..
"THEIR choice"
can't you accept this reality?
Baz
Cayman(wish i was there):ERHC comparison
VOC spudded that well AUG31 2009...60 days to drill then completed and tested..aprox..Oct 31-1st week NOV?
NOW Jan 6th and they are still logging well results to be pr'd,
IN DUE COURSE!!...........no date given
IMHO...this is going to be US ...IN DUE COURSE!!
We are now over 5 months from enitial spud...now not 1 well...but 5 wells later ...we are either still drilling or now analyzing results from Kina south west to lemba then mid south to Okie East structure... well.
I NOW! understand just how big this Undertaking is to Addax/Sinopec in the operators role.
IMO ....earliest results....IDES OF MARCH..15- 18th for Chinese luck......But I Know I must wait...for that is MY(OUR) role here if I/WE believe.
Baz- a believer
hi tamtam904
looks like SEO has aprox 4,200,000. shares of ERHC not held by chrome.Wasnt Feltang asking for 4 mil plus shares after some 5 mil in payments?/possible payments? this is just a thought ...long timer here...since we have always been wondering about Feltang,IMHO,it may be a possible scenario ...
GLTA
Happy Holidays
Baz
Krom:
Chevron sold (I think it was) 5% of block 1 in a side GAS deal that they were/are making with SASOL in Africa etc. This is from memory but it must be with Block ownership %'s somewhere.
Baz
Seasons Greetings !!
EDIT: saw other explanations ...sorry for repeat.
ssc:
I have googled Natural Gas wells West Africa...not one result was for a commercial Nat Gas well exclusively...infact if there is commercial Gas in West Africa,it's because the Gas is associated with Commercial oil as well.
good luck in finding commercial Natural Gas wells exclusively from
West Africa.
So we are drilling an indepth phase1 campaign...and not stalling but rather drilling an extra optional well,is very telling as to the success of this campaign. At 1 mil per day, something is extremely worthwhile down there....IMO.
This is not the mere fullfilling their "promise of fast tracking" as was the promise eluded to by P.N.
5 wells have been drilled in the JDZ and since the pressure was turned up Politicaly, there has been a fast track of sorts...NOT BECAUSE they promised but...BECAUSE business in a commercial way..IMO...has confirmed their beliefs and HENCE been confirmed by Commercial OIL and GAS.IMO
Seasons greetings all....
SOON!!!
Baz
kownski:
I think that was Gulfkeystone in Khurdistan.....they are drilling and have been for months(extremely tough terrain). They have put out a few PRs about what they have found along the way.

Gulf Keystone Petroleum Finds Light Oil At Shaikan
Gulf Keystone Petroleum is not without its detractors. Just this summer its decision to exit Algeria created bad will among investors and its erstwhile partner BG while the introduction of a little-known private investment fund ETAMIC in its Kurdistan venture raised some eyebrows at the apparent dilution of this potentially transformational exploration project. Despite these concerns, however, investors are likely to continue to back a company which increasingly looks to have made the right decision by focusing its resources on Kurdistan, where the Shaikan-1 exploration well is clocking up discovery after discovery as its drills down to its target depth.
Earlier this week, the AIM company announced Shaikan-1 had made an oil discovery in the upper portions of the Triassic section at a depth of 2,402 and 2,483 metres. A limited flow test yielded up to 2,000 barrels per day of 40-plus degree API oil and 2 million cubic feet per day of associated gas, giving a gas/oil ratio of about 1,000 cubic feet per barrel.
This find builds on the two to four billion barrels of oil found in the shallower Jurassic intervals, a huge discovery blighted only by the heavier nature of the crude (between 17 and 22-degree API). The discovery of lighter oil in the Triassic with its high gas/oil ratio could well prove instrumental in the economic extraction of the heavier oil in the Jurassic.
Analysts at Fox Davies Capital in London described the Triassic light oil find “excellent news” for the company. The broker reckons there are 3.8 billion barrels of oil in place with recoverable resources of 879 million barrels, based on a “conservative” recovery factor of 18 per cent for the Jurassic and 40 per cent below the Jurassic. This is a vast find for a small cap like Gulf Keystone, which even after the ETAMIC deal retains a meaty 50 per cent stake in the project.
**And there could be more to come as this week’s find also de-risks the well as it drills the remaining 700 to 1,000 metres to target depth. Once the well reaches target depth, the company will bring in a workover rig to start extended testing of the multiple pay zones in the well. That’s when the newsflow will get really exciting, giving the company and its investors a better handle on the scale of the discovery and likely development options.**
Given the abrupt end of its Algerian adventure, Gulf Keystone is increasingly a Kurdistan play. The company now has interests in four blocks, Shaikan and Akri Bijeel, which were awarded in November 2007, as well as the Sheikh Adi and Ber Bahr blocks that were awarded this summer. Sheikh Adi is to the west and on trend with the Shaikan structure. The block covers 180 sq km and is home to a mapped defined undrilled surface anticline covering 32 sq km. The 350 sq km Ber Bahr block lies on trend with Shaikan and Sheikh Adi. Gulf Keystone has an 80 per cent interest in Sheikh Adi and 40 per cent of Ber Bahr. Gulf Keystone's technical team anticipates that the potential combined prospective resources will exceed one billion barrels of oil in place and the company hopes to chase down this potential with a possible first well as early as 2010.
Both of these new blocks were awarded to ETAMIC, a little known Middle East-based investment fund, which then agreed to merge its interests with Gulf Keystone’s existing interests in Kurdistan in return for a 50 per cent equity interest in its subsidiary Gulf Keystone Petroleum International. Investors were uneasy at this move as it diluted GKPI’s stake in Shaikan from 75 per cent to 50 per cent although it did bring two new blocks onto the books, giving this small cap firm a substantial footprint in one of the most exciting onshore oil plays in the world.
This could well prove instrumental in attracting the attention of circling oil majors...........
is this the company?
Baz
Erdo....does it seem that Addax has drilled Kina south?....possibly right through Kina? All their holes were drilled DIRECTINALLY so the same well after td Kina, looking like sidetracked to Kina south!.
The wording describes discovery...and Named Kina/Kina south.
I guess we shall wait(as usual) to find out where DP is drilling now.
I like the securing of FLNGs for the area.I dont think they are planned to sit Idle!
Each day we are getting more dots connected...
each day is getting more exciting.
Seasons Greetings
Baz
I think PuP was saying that (or was it JCanada) all the wells are drilled/being drilled DIRECTIONAL.I have no oil knowledge..but..IMO they are drilling to the areas to go through as many zones as they can along their way to TD.This (exploratory phase) will give the operators the most info to cypher and come up with all the evidence they need ,to put some calculatable numbers together, and compare to NASAI numbers 1 way or the other.
Maybe a value for numbers proven plus probable ..risked unrisked....will show up on our books .
In time this will all HOPEFULLY enhance shareholder value.
Season's Best to all "The ERHC Family"
Baz
not sure if this means anything to all...I do think PuP has some way of hearing SOMETHING.
He stated all wells were drilled to TD and all were directional in drilling.Six floaters on tender from Addax for West Africa...JDZ needs a few if commercial.
PuP also stated he didnt think a 5th well was going to happen...not enough time as he believes that Malanza will also go to TD,resulting in no time for another well as DP is also doing the testing on these wells as we are on site.
WHO KNOWS!
it all sounds like there will be a commercial discovery confirmed IMO
thats what keeps me here.
BAZ-tired of all the bickering and personal attacks.
WE WAIT
P.S. he also said he wouldnt be posting again till the DP leaves the JDZ..............................................
Krom:
as was said here prior, that China may have a hard time in their african advancements by buying LCV's.....when Governments out there are looking for ways to increase local content vehicles ....especially with NEW amnesty arangements to which IMHO will apply to all regions of Nigeria. There is strife throughout.
Sao Tome is poor, with small population and its Government is starting up its own oil company to invite partners to explore in it's EEZ.
ERHC, with its connections might be more valuable to china as an independant partner to broker unlikely deals in Nigeria(at least)Iraq has banned the Chinese from this bidding round as Chinas entry VIA Khurdistan Via Addax has the Iraqi Gov. in ire over the loss of control in Khurdistan so are putting the hammer down.
Its best to have MAJOR "PULL" on your side when you are scouring and scavenging and trying to hoard the amounts(staggering)that China will need to break from coal and /or uplift its society to a better standard of living...maybe they do care about their own poor and struggling.
Baz....lots of opinion here
Art..morning to you
This quote to be fair was stated by Dan to be from the 2008 AGM.....so its really a liquid scenareo we as shareholders
see/dont see.To refer to 2008's meeting for guidance today really is shameful as we havent had an AGM this year and LIKELY wont.
SO, while I agree with some of your remarks on management,I also have EMPATHY for Tryoty's concerns regarding WHAT A COMPANY really is... and Why(?) do they think that the way they operate is favorable to how the market judges them and their (INTENSIONS)..IE: future guidance. How do we as shareholders get to know our company?...where are our meetings?
Simple ..IMO..We arent run as a communicative/shareholder friendly company!!!We are Public, listed, and should have our Tuxedos and Ball Gowns on...snappin our suspenders.
More importantly OUR CEO should be adressing his companies shareholders in a "FAMILY OF ERHE" letterwhere he could tell us SOMETHING!!!!!! to ease OUR minds and convey confidence and possitives with us...without compremising.OUR position with the JDA JMC SNP FBI Alphabet soup gang etc.
NOW!! is this too much to ask as shareholders?I'm not sure.
IMHO...IT's NOT!
BAZ - wind out of his sails
hi guys
just never thought about world consumption so much...but so far according to this article ...Globaly just over 31 bil.barrels used anually...another sight with figures.
http://www.thirdworldtraveler.com/Oil_watch/World_Oil%20_Table.
We are close to equalibrium so far...but we need to explore and find ...so maybe companies that explore will be boosted by their own inherant value which is to do what needs to be done to support global industry and better living standards. exploration companies that exist and support themselves are not a "dime a dozen"
Lets not forget greed...lol
Baz
gambler:
all posibilities remain it seems EXCEPT for HYDROCARBONS...We have been told that so far!!! wink ..the results are very positive and P.N. said "LIKE" we are very pleased with results so far although "LIKE" they need more testing..LIKE!
That there channel so to speak might be higher in elevation towards the east and more material to cut into for time concerens...then maybe the seismics are /HAVE proved up the Geology and they know the TD target zone.IF...the structues under seabed are closer to seabed then our drilling times will be shorter...ALL just an opinion.
wonder where our final well location will be..the game's afoot.
We are getting closer to info..not further away..as there is STUFF going on HERE!!!! yes after all these years...that in itself deserves a small smirk EH!!
Baz - we are undervalued but nobody cares(YET) but us.
Try:
thanks for the Visual!...lol
Seriously...Block 2 IMHO...cause... NONN...(curtesy of NICK),
could be very interesting as we know now about Akpo and all her different perfumes.
from board chatter some are surmizing that Block 1 will have lots of oil ....so ,next door GAS is a bonus IF CHEVVVVY doesnt find their necessary volumes of GASEOUS vapours...(in their next Block 1 well/s)...all spec here.
I so wish we had more info from ALL parties, but, without results being released till a comprehensive report of (looks more and more to me) maybe all 5 wells..we are left to the stars for our dots.
OLE' Tryoty
All the best
Baz
P.S. careful of that GAS FLARING!!!!!!!!!!!
Try:
Only if this is natural gas with no other associated wet gas.
If its Gas with other vluable condensates then your statement rings false....
Hey no scrap here...lol...Just IMHO
Baz
Baz- understanding that all gasses are not created equal!
Tryoty:
When(?????????????)the drilling results come in.
When(?????????????) we can book some proven, probable, possible, reserves,IMO,the share price will be recalculated(see GulfKeystone) etal; Minnows that have discoveries..they are recalculated as per P1,P2,P3.Then the Market finds its price reevaluation as well.
When(????????????)this occurs we ALL will be able to choose our financial outcomes .Sell or Hold we shall see.
I'm betting (like alot here),that we wont need much promo when the market sees the numbers.
When(????????????) is our biggest concern......not promotion.
ALL IMO.
Baz - all in favor of company/shareholder communication(WHEN!!!!!)
tryoty:
IMO ...the majority of us longs are info deprived...and YES the company IMO hasnt looked too sharp in its Promos(ie Bovel all dishevelled...lol),but,
1. Kosmos and Tullow are both Co-operators of the jubulee and mahogany fields as they overlap eachother.
2. ERHC energy has been the only company to release info to us about drilling at all..even with "THEIR/OUR" restrictions as to what we can release.
We can draw our own conclusions but WHERE are the operators?...its between THEM and the JDA to decide what is released. Then we as a minority (albeit a fair size) will be advised by the higher bodies in control,as to what we can release.
We might be able to bend the language or give a positive Nudge Nudge wink wink to it's shareholders by management buying or any arms length info ...such as ERHE looking for investment brokers ...deal brokers etc.
I guess my point is that rationally they have done much better for us since 2001 then the discust and anger here towards them dictates.
After all we are still here grinning and Baring this.
Baz
ballance
thanks for the reply...yes Kosmos's NR wads more in depth...Tullow is heading the Jubilee field and sounds like mahogany 4 is an overlap, testing jubilee field and mahogany field boundary.
we both are on the same page here and a minor partner wouldnt be allowed by the operator to release this kind of info usually, prior to operator's release,as technical info usually comes from operator or joint operatorship.
we are getting there
baz
ballance:
Tullow oil is the operator of Jubilee field.
look to the operator to release more comprehensive material....then ERHE will be allowed to release similar information from "their" perspective...if the wish.
Baz

farrel:
from your 1st link the 10 mil is Addax's %'s and CVX's would be 25 mil and the remaining 9% is responsible for the other 2.3 mil making the approximation $37,300,000.U.S.
I suppose before rig costs were so high this was a low ball estimate.
just chillin and cypherin
Baz
hey oil-C
XOM with 40% knew as well ...40% of funding requires transparent info....not bashing..but!...XOM with only 40% of whatever they found in OBO 1..didnt think this was significant to their strategies....SO FAR!...but they know most likely what CVX knows...OMO
Baz
P.S. are they finished talking?
phiegze:
WPG.here and I have consulted to try and use the TFSA account for ERHE.
This account even though unregistered has the same requirements as registered in regards to OTC:BB stocks and as well tax advantaged funds are also not allowed.
This came from my RBC personal fin. planner.
If you have other info..please post as I would love to put ERHE there .
thx
baz
ajaxxxx
cvx...paid aprox 65 mil foraprox 55% of block 1
Xom paid aprox 50 mil. for aprox 40% block1,, and sold their interest for 70+ mil and kept a 2 % royalty back.
not nit picking as this might make some difference .
all the best
Baz
fishdog
what is the likelyhood or feasability that if Kina south was either directly under or adjacent to Kina 1 that they would drill into Kina2 while still atop Kina1...maybe sidetrack a well freom Kina1 to #2?
thanks
Baz
opusX
as I think this was relating to ERHE in some way,
IMO...CNPC isnt a culpurt in Iraq's mind(yet)...as the Rumaila field is in Iraq...not...Kurdistan..where the politico's have issues on oil governance.SNP is a problem for iraq...Kurdistan will embrace them as long as they keep their status clean in the Kurds eyes...unlike(im guessing) DNO...having issues with Kurdistan. It's extremely volatile and risky investing in Kurdistan...Addax is followed by a host of Canadian explorers..high risk/high rewards.
Similar to what ERHE is/WAS...I think we all will be happy ..lol..if we live to see it(sorry Exceo)..and others!
Our risk has been lessened as we are drilling...scratch that risk off the rote.....baby steps>>adult steps>>>monster steps.
good luck ALL..ladies and gents
WE DESERVE!!
