We can launch a generic whenever we want...don't be so concerned about the US market. It's in it's infancy.
Great story...... there are pockets of decency all over the place thank goodness. Thanks for sharing.
" just like there's no good answer why we're suddenly discouraging both antibody test kits and masks if you're jabbed "
Common sense maybe? The same common sense that said wearing masks outside was just dumb anyway.
Excellent Captn.
The inmates are now running the asylum.
It's a card to play at some point but not now when you are suing them for infringement. AMRN would actually be helping stay under 10% of market and not have a case for infringement. Let the case play out first.
It is stunning to think that we are about $1.80 away from the stock price just prior to the REDUCE-IT results. Since then we have:
- Increased our cash balance to over $500 Mil
- Have FDA approval as the only drug approved for CV risk reduction
- Approval in Canada for same
- Approval in EU for same
- Approval in UK for same
- Pending approval in China for same
- Evidence of plaque reduction in arteries (EVAPORATE)
- Anecdotal evidence of mitigation of severe Covid symptoms
- Incoming CEO with Sales and Drug launch experience
- Change in General Council
- Pending infringement litigation against Hikma and Health
- Pending Supreme Court uptake
We got DUped out of the Marine patent but we still control the API market and can launch our own gV if needed.
Covid is on a sharp decline in the US and will continue to be so. I still think we are slow walking the US market until Hikma bleeds money on their ill fated gV launch.
Thanks Raf.... always appreciated!
Most drugs this early never had to deal with the repercussions of a pandemic.
Brady wouldn't be a good pitch man...... someone like Tom Selleck would work...
I would think this would be an easy one to get dismissed.
"We are anticipating high demand based on EU marketing approval and upcoming China approval in addition to our recent Canadian and US indications. We are are a one drug company and we need to secure as many suppliers as possible. The market for approved generic indications is miniscule compared to our CV market.... yada yada
If they pay us hundreds of millions, OK. The problem is the next Hikma could pop up in the US. Or a BP with a Hikma like division so I'd prefer we just knock them out.
Thanks Raf
Why did they replace the original Jake who actually works for State Farm with this actor Jake?
That's the problem with government run "anything". Most businesses veered away from pensions and moved to 401k plans. Not the public unions though, they are like leaches on a host....suck the blood until the host dies. As I said, the USPS is amazing but they are stifled when it comes to innovation if they bump up against the union.
Proof that AMRN management is not the worst..... the Post Office is way ahead in terms of one of the worst run businesses on the planet. They are fantastic in terms of logistics and their ability to lose money.
I guess I didn't know about it because it failed in it's phase 3 trial and was shelved....
It was part of this story

I've never seen this before.... "Miraxion"?
Amarin is a pharmaceutical company that makes innovative new treatments for treating central nervous system disorders. The company has an R&D facility in Scotland, although its headquarters are in London. The company has lead pipeline drug is known as Miraxion, developed as a potential treatment for Huntington's disease. Miraxion is currently in phase 3 clinical trials.
Of course it's possible that the adrenaline rush contributed to the stroke. What it wasn't was was what the phony biased media kept pushing which was a fire extinguisher to the head. The media sucks. Once upon a time they played it somewhat straight. Now they can't be trusted one iota. What we also know for a fact is that a capital policeman shot an unarmed woman in the neck. How is that not murder? Shows once again we have unfairness in our justice system. If it were an unarmed BLM protester shot in the head by a capital police officer, you sure as hell know the guys name.
Yes.... Gutfeld is the best
Raf, always appreciated!
What difference does it make if he was fired or has a planned retirement? None! He's out and you know who replaced him.
So you know Q1 results already? Do tell.....
I am thinking the same..... keeping sales flat requires Gv to remain flat at under 10% or they face further infringement penalties. We certainly wouldn't want this to continue much longer but in the short term, not much harm while all the legal issues play out. Focus energies and resources on the EU and trickle along in the US until the time is right.
Let me add my sincere heartfelt appreciation for the all star teams contributions on behalf of all the long investors in this stock. Should we win the day, you will be annoyed by the paparazzi hounding you for photos and comments. Songs will be written.... if I write them, they will be bad songs but it's the thought that counts. A million thanks.
Ralphey...... I'm just a peon at my company but I get RSU's. When they vest, I automatically sell almost half to cover the tax burden. It's highly probable that this what these top dogs are doing.
Lizzy.... that seems to be more common with the Moderna shot for some reason.... stay well.
I received my 2nd Phizer shot yesterday. Sore arm but that's about it so far.
Deplorable and Disgruntled Ramfan60 here still clinging to my guns, religion, AMRN stock and the notion that honesty and integrity prevail and a handshake still means something.
Out of stock as well
Check out this ad.... sold on Amazon.... a bit of a name ripoff?
Vegepa Omega 3 Wild Fish Oil & Evening Primrose Oil Blend, 560 mg EPA Plus GLA, 60 Small Softgels
This administration is all about checking the boxes so the next SC justice nominee should be a bisexual transgender woman of color
marjac.... that's great to know. I couldn't get on the Parkway above exit 105 (Eatontown) because I was driving an RV and apparently the weight I put on during Covid, put me over the limit I can't say much more than others on this board with regards to my gratitude for you, HK, and the team for all the effort and work put in for the Rule 60 filing. So impressive and appreciated. Thank you!
marjac, I was on the Parkway as well......stayed overnight in Wall..
marjac, I must have passed your house on Thursday on my way to FL. I noticed a section of the NJ Turnpike was sponsored by Amarin. I took that sign as a sign of good things to come!
How about we get EU approval first..... then you tell JT
Retracting an indication is harder than I thought........I checked into this right after the DUped decision and basically you have to show that your drug is unsafe now in order to retract an indication. This rule was probably put in place to prevent a move like this. So, I think we're in a good place.... and remember, we could launch our own generic tomorrow if that was the right play.
From a poster on the YMB
And now $TEVA's generic Vascepa discontinued.

Can't get API ?
Margins too low? Or
Don't want to pay treble damages to $AMRN ?
Whatever it is, seems like a good move. https://t.co/evVim6fYAa pic.twitter.com/sUQaPAMwcD
