Right on, Philly Mike! Burn, Shorty! A$C$D$U
GM, Philly Mike! IMO, it doesn't matter whether or not ACDU is reinstated by the venerable SEC -- ACDU IS worth more dead than alive. Period. ('Punkt', auf Deutsch.) The astronomical value of our little company as the Canal bursts through indigenous and political barriers is evident. Curious al;so for Loophole's (I picture him as a shrewder version of the Lawyer in the cartoon strip The Wizard of Id) view of ACDU's chances with the SEC..
I don't think the SEC can complete their smackdown -- but we shall see! ;D)
No kidding! Plenty of angles for Cloak and Dagger buffs. Here's a bit more news:http://www.spiegel.de/international/world/new-shipping-canal-in-nicaragua-faces-questions-and-opposition-a-1001136.html
The ARCOS fiber-optic communications cable hub being in Bluefields adds to the intrigue.
Nauru is not the best choice, since Australia has an extensive prison system on the island nation. Australia is one of the "Five Eyes" (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/UKUSA_Agreement), along with the USA, UK, New Zealand and Canada, and the prison complex on Nauru likely serves as a black site for extra-judicial detention and torture. Better choices would be any of the BRICS countries (Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa). The BRICS countries would each profit handsomely from construction of Nicaragua's Grand Canal, while the "Five Eyes" are doing their utmost to squash the effort.
SEC actions against ACDU are politically driven, ACDU's filing delinquency notwithstanding. There is hope for foreign registration if ACDU is revoked. GLTA
Long odds, to be sure. My money's on Andy William (not that I have much of a choice..) ;D)
Not so, we would own shares in a private company, and could hope they would re-register. GLTA!
The Jury as they say being out on that question, I'll simply opine that in the case the SEC revokes ACDU, our company would still exist and hopefully seek registration in a friendly country, perhaps one of the BRICS...
With a symbol like BCND (Bad Cop No Donut), how can we lose? ;D)
Accumulation.. ;D)
This Lebanese mountain singer blew my mind back in the day..

Much better with a soundtrack, thanks, Xan!
Curiouser and curiouser, this is fascinating stuff. --> a*c*d*u !
The Journal of Commerce weighs in with speculation on the geopolitical nature of the Nicaraguan Canal.

A small detail -- Years ago, Joanna & ACDU invested in Rodman and Renshaw, which became Direct Markets Holding Corp. (MKTSQ), which is still trading. Just came across this conference -- http://www.srff.com/events/post/11094 -- is MKTSQ still in business??
I think these two canals are separate from the Grand Canal.
Thought this was north on the border, Mike.

Hope you get filled! ;)
OK, to understand where we are from a philosophical perspective, check out Amos Tutuola's 'My Life in the Bush of Ghosts' which, incidentally, was the inspiration for David Byrne (of the Talking Heads) and Brian Eno's excellent album of the same title.... But not for long -- $A$C$D$U$
'A Comparison of the Panama and Nicaragua Canal Routes' just came out in Scientific American, but I didn't want to pay to read it.
Same here, working/working, though everything OK. Magnificent long drive up to the northeastern corner of Iowa (5.5 hours roundtrip from where I am) delivering recycled 1935 hard maple gymnasium flooring, changing leaves, warm breezes, incredible light. Left my cares behind for once...
btw, Andy William is the acting CEO....
Thanks, Loophole, and H24Ever, you're on the money in saluting the long holders on this board. Sky, it looks like you were the prophetic one in that the SEC case is all about 'saving face'. ;D)
Thanks, Bullseye! Sure looks better than it did a couple of weeks ago.. A*C*D*U!
Nice work, Senor C!
Hey Murmel, hope you're well..
Afternoon, All. http://www.sec.gov/divisions/enforce/delinquent/delinqindex.htm Andy William showed up on behalf of our little company, and the SEC releases show us to still be afloat..
[34-72726 (July 31,2014), AP-1708 (Aug 18,2014), AP-1724 (Aug 25, 2014), ID-666 (Sept 9, 2014)]
Can't argue with that. At times like this I remind myself it's a miraculous universe. Main reason I'm hopeful is that we got hit by a so-called individual or more likely group (or government agency?) with rock solid connections at the SEC. The big wigs don't usually bother with anyone or anything that isn't up to something. $ACDU
So fwiw, I do feel there is something more to ACDU than people realize. Our stock has been tanked by several factors, not least of which is the likelihood that China is moving into our hemisphere in a very big way, and anything supporting that is viewed by our Government as hostile. Would like to hear from the board what others think is the likelihood that ACDU will seek foreign registry if the SEC refuses to back down. That really is the key.
Hoo boy! Daddy needs a new pair o' shoes..
Ain't over. $ACDU
