Thanx, madcat! EOM

Ron: I've never seen Virgin's in person (some here have) but safe to say, yes. Comparison, IE/Netscape...from my understanding, yes as well. Yes, the patent of the process is what they've taken Virgin to court for...infringement. Not too sure on the length of patents..15 to 20 years from what I recall. Last statement there...Hey, someone has to be first!
I have the same questions as you regarding the court details.

RonMexico: I was wondering the same thing...

Regarding NeoMedia's patents, they patent the process, i.e., "PaperClick". As far as other devices, from my understanding you can download the "Go Window" to any device that's linked to the internet (computer) and "Go" to where they want via the "code" shown under a barcode.
Yes, other companies have tried to pursue this very same "idea"...Virgin, ScanBuy, et al.
We'll find out soon if they have a leg to stand on.

JP and others: Do you think that for Google to implement their mobile search "Yellow Pages", they have to rely on the recently added patent that NEOM purchased from LoyaltyPoint?
The third patent (U.S. 6,675,165 B1) covers uses of location-based technology to deliver content that is based both on a particular advertisement and the geographic location in which the advertisement is located
I would think yes, but I'm not too sure.
Thanx,

Thanx, oris52! EOM
Perfect pic, "son". :) EOM
ALL: Thoughts please...
Could this be the beginning of our F100 "friend" starting to build their 19.9% position??? Could the plan be to be there THEN send out the NR on it?
:)
chazz66: What is POS? I always thought it was "Piece of S**T". Now I'm confused because that isn't what I consider this. But about every other time I've seen that acronym used on poster boards, "Piece of S**T" could easily be substituted and it made perfect sense.
Thanx in advance,
lns
moxa, yeah, one of those split-second "fat finger" pullbacks to "fill the gap". LOL!!!
oris52: LD, PVM? Thanx, lns
I agree, Wolfin...MS. eom
kokonut, I fully agree. My main point was the next sentence I wrote after that, "I trust the folks that built this boat and are stearing the ship know exactly what they've done in the past, are doing now and have planned for the future."
To me, it doesn't matter, who cares. Am I gonna bitch or moan if it's not that company that I "thought" they should "go with"...what do I or anybody else here know? Bottom line is NOTHING, unless it's dispensed publicly or if it's sniffed out in a public forum by a friendly "Neomite Sleuthhound".
I know it's fun to think of the possibilities of who, what, when, why and how, but - being investors we all are, always have been and always will be subject to the direction that management of any public company decides to go. If we don't like it, we sell. But, we also know why we're here as well and a lot of it has to do w/ the faith that we have in management.
If we do find out it is Wal-Mart (which I doubt but...) then I would have to think that it's a strategic move of some sort knowing that they (management) know much better about where they want to go and why and how they think it's best to achieve their goals, than I could ever speculate. Because, let's face it, it if were Wal-Mart, many here would immediately start to question management's decision and some may even start to lose a little faith (read - fear) in their long-term commitment to see their technology get "exploited" to the MAX.
If I didn't say it before, I am very appreciative of the folks that created, maintain and post on this board. This is a very refreshing forum to come to. Thanx all!
lns
woogerbear, you must've missed Larry Page's 213MM! LOL!!
trimobile: If it's 'Fortune100', who cares? I trust the folks that built this boat and are stearing the ship know exactly what they've done in the past, are doing now and have planned for the future.
After spending 10+ years toiling away at your craft, at the first glimps of acceptance you don't ditch your work for a quick buck. I'd say one would want to spend AT LEAST as many years on top of their game as it took to get there!
I know I would! :)
Did a trade actually go through at about .26/share? eom
... = Thankful. :) eom
woogerbear: How about "sleuthhound"? EOM
Actually, I think it's "not everybody cared". eom
That IS a good one! EOM
alexandre: I'm not 100% sure, but I think I recall about a year ago or so reading or hearing that it's pretty much going to be the standard w/ cell phones (gps)...there and unintrusive. I think I remember hearing this because at the time I heard it I was somewhat skeptical of it because I heard they were planning on doing the same thing w/ cars...all in the name of "safety" and I thought to myself, "one more reason NOT to get a new car or a new cell phone".
So, if that's the case (gps in cell phones), then it's should be transparent and able to be activated (NeoMedia's new GPS patent) immediately.
Now though, that I know about other beneficial consumer reasons for the GPS in cell phones rather than simply having 'big brother' keep me safe, I think it won't be too long until I get me one of dem dare new fangled thingies!
Can't wait to ditch this office chair! LOL!! EOM
Definitely, onthetake, I let the good "long" folks at my other "baby" OTC stock know about this one. Didn't cram it down their throats though. They know the rules of the game...DD DD DD DD! :)
joed: Nothing faulty at all about your prognosis, I see it spoken truly like an man w/ 700K of his hardearned retirement money wrapped up in a penny stock..."just go up a bit and I'm happy." What, a couple bucks and you got 5MM? Why even bother yourself thinking past that. Yes, quite understandable.
But, for those of us younger folks w/ young families and thoughts of being able to ride this to the top to insure that our kids will be able to go to ANY college they desire and we can "can" our 9-5's for something truly meaningful and beneficial to those around us and to the one that put us here...we're thinking MUCH farther down the road than that.
That being said, I myself, have my eyes WIDE OPEN to the possibilities, and I have to whole-heartedly agree w/ Picksit..."The possibilities for generating income from Warren Buffets "toll bridge" to the internet are unfathomable at this point in time. IMO, unless NEOM allows itself to be absorbed by another entity, a $20pps may look like chump change 2-3years from now."
I haven't been able to get that thought outta my head since I first read it here some days ago.
Let's take what I "dreamt" about the other day...
"Imagine this...MORE THAN ONE Fortune 100/500 company wanting their own piece of NEOM pie. Heck, we could see 50-60% of the shares being gobbled up right there...add on that another 25% w/ institutions and another 20% by insiders...
What's that leave the general public? Not much. Remedy?
2:1 split!"
...It's entirely possible. Why not? We're all speculating here, is it Microsoft, Intel, P&G, Google. And let's not forget Vodaphone, Verizon et al.
Now, imagine this...my "dream" above happens BEFORE $5 and BEFORE getting relisted to the NAZ. Yes, IMO, this could go from $5 to $20 in no time based on predicted revenue. The way I see it, using the "toll bridge" analogy, predicting the future potential once this ball gets rolling and IF it's found beneficial by consumers (those initial %'s based on the UK's rollout of the mobile promotions...quite telling), would be quite easy to guesstimate on the conservative side and you KNOW the bigboyz will push it to that mark in short order. As was mentioned before (for comparison), look at SIRI...A BILLION SHARES+ and they are over $5/share! Total RED and need in the 10's of millions of customers to get in the BLACK. Heck, by the looks of it, we could be in the black in the next year!
Now, sure, NEOM "won't own the entire world of cell phone advertising", that's correct. They'll only own THE BRIDGE! What good is NYC if you can't drive there to enjoy it?
As far as "get(ting) enough people to recognize the value of neom's patents and word registry to make this a four hundred million dollar company"...sounds like that's what a pessimist may have said in the early 90's regarding SAIC's internet domain registry..."if we can only get enough people to recognize the value of the internet and registering their websites so they can be found as if looking through a phonebook, we could actually make a little bit of money on this idea."
Regarding insiders "continuing" to sell their stock...it's been mentioned before and it's a fact that NEEDS to be taken seriously...the SEC would greatly frown upon insiders holding and only selling in times of good. Why do you think they give themselves so many shares? They know they'll have to sell as many in times of bad as in times of good so as not to draw any suspicion from the authorities. We can't be concerned over less than 10% insider selling. As also mentioned before, if we see a sudden 20-50% selling w/ a not-to-optimistic future ahead, THEN I'd be concerned. These latest sales...very normal IMO.
Your fear seems to ride this like a leaf riding the tide. MAN YOUR SHIP and get over the crest of the wave of fear so you can enjoy this a bit and see the beautiful horizon ahead. Sure, may be some stormy seas ahead, but nothing that other companies haven't guided their ships through before.
IMO, getting on the NAZ is key in terms of PPS. It #1 gives them credibility and #2, really allows the institutional investors to pile on. And, if the NAZ doesn't turn around by the time NEOM gets on there, they may be looked at as one of the "safe havens" to put your mid-term money into (as was suggested by another previous post).
The OTC is a place to see a stock rise 50-100 times current pps', but it's also a place to see a stock fall 50-100 times current pps' quicker than they rose.
Believe me, when this thing goes, I'm not gonna thank my lucky stars but rather continue to Thank the One that put them there!
I'm not bustin' your chops, just tellin' it like I see it! Thanx for your contributions and informative posts here...much appreciated and very insightful.
LONG & STRONG & LOVIN' THE RIDE!

cabbie70: Probably, IMO. Just formalities.
Gotta love this quote, ""I am very excited about helping realize the global promise of NeoMedia's PaperClick suite of wireless applications," said Mr. Copus. "This is a groundbreaking technology that can change how we live."
gkarman: I wouldn't worry about that too much. My guess is that even if you are on the bottom of the totum pole at NeoMedia, you'll still be given ISO's. They probably got millions set aside for just this purpose.
Nice connections..."Prior to running the U.K. operations of 12Snap, Mr. Copus's background included assignments as executive director of Huntsworth PLC, a marketing services group listed on the main board of the London Stock Exchange; Worldwide Board Director of Interpublic Group's Ammirati Puris Lintas advertising unit; and senior vice president of Leo Burnett Company Inc., Chicago, responsible for its Marlboro® USA advertising and marketing services account."
I was thinking Jensen's plate had to be getting pretty full.
Positives all around!
Thanx for that, s.o.g. Big things coming. eom

STOCKHEAP: Voice Activation? YES!...From their website...
Is PaperClick Limited to Barcodes?
Although barcodes are the most common machine readable identifier in the world right now, there are many others out there as well. As one example, Radio-Frequency Identification (RFID) tags are an emerging alternate standard for identifying products. PaperClick can apply equally to them. Even voice can be a machine readable identifier, since an Automatic Speech Recognition (ASR) system can extract the words you are speaking from the audio and use them in a computer-based application.
Here's another little bonus I found that I don't recall being posted on their website previously. Maybe it was and I missed it...

Nope, we're gonna be unlike anything out there! eom
Well put, madcat. My sentiments exactly. eom
I didn't say it before but THANK YOU guys for going to court and sharing your observations and thoughts!
MUCH APPRECIATED!!!

alexandre...they make money, I make money, we all win. What's wrong w/ that? Their shorts won't hold this puppy down if we have what we think we have.
Of course it it, pennyheaven, if we think this company has what they say they have, $10.50 will be just "scratchin' the surface!"
Hold 'em tight. And, another thought...put them in a margin account if you think this company has what they say the have. As soon as it hits the NAZ, you can make money from borrowed money all the way up too! :)
GOTTA LOVE IT!!!!
I'm sure that's what TS is waiting for too!

I'm there w/ ya, pennyheaven...70K. Sure, I'd like more like everyone else but I think the Lord gave me just what I need. ;)
