Bigtim...Good to hear from you...however...I would disagree with you on the point about the potential increase in SFLK shares. There have been three MAJOR contracts awarded this year for programs that have been mandated by the feds. They are the ONLY company to win ALL three contracts in their sector. The problem has been that Congress has been slow to fund the programs. Once these programs are funded...revenues generated by SFLK would increase tremendously. In regards to Wave's SFLK holdings...I've been under the impression that they have been selling their shares for a while now...FWIW
Sincerely,
Jas
ot...re SFLK...

Interesting that Gemplus is now using Litronic/SFLK products in their offerings to the US Govt...fwiw
Sincerely,
Jas
re SFLK...for those people who are following it...take a look at it's latest SEC filing...they have received the FIRST part of a Homeland Security contract from Bearing point...FWIW
Sincerely,
Jas
Greg...re lack of interest...Given the number of bashers that exist on this and other Wave threads...seems strange that someone would suggest that there must be a lack of interest...
Jas
Greg...re CC quality...How many of those individuals (who complained about the quality) were listening via the net vs via a telephone? How does one ask a question if he/she is in a listen only mode..ie via the net. In short...your statement doesn't hold water...IMHO! The bashers were just themselves....all talk...and no substance!
Sincerely or not,
Jas
Toro...re hockey stick....Your'e absolutely corect..imho
Have fun at your conference.
Sincerely,
Jas
re Q4...That's what I think...but then again...accounting is not my trade...I think that would make for a good question during the CC
Sincerely,
Jas
cmf...I think that the recent weakness we've seen in sflk could possibly be secondary to Wave selling some of their holdings....I could be wrong...but it appears to be a logical possibility.
Sincerely,
Jas
CPA...re deferred revenues...I think you're absolutely wrong in comparing the two situations...that was then...and this is now..the sector landscape has changed tremendously since the last time they deferred revenues...imho
Sincerely,
Jas
Secur_observ...re early reporting....Do you really believe that they are reporting "early" because of the lawsuits? If we follow your theory...why haven't they done that in the months SINCE the lawsuits were made public? Does that mean that I'm buying into the theory that there must be something significant in their report for them to announce"early"....no...but I wouldn't mind being wrong. I sincerely believe that significant progress is being made behind the scenes....whether or not we will start to see that being reflected on the bottom line with this quarterly report...I can't say....FWIW
Sincerely,
Jas
Doma is talking about something that took place roughly a year and half ago...FWIW
Sincerely,
Jas
sflk/WAVX...Senate approved ~36 BILLION dollars tonight to be allocated for Domestic Security....Congress is FINALLY about to FUND the various projects...Hopefully, this will cause our SFLK shares to increase in value over the next few months. SFLK has ALREADY won various bids...what they have lacked is the funding to deploy the various projects...it appears that the funding is near!
Sincerely,
Jas
Doma...re Intel/TPM....That's exactly what I think is going to occur once the NSM super I/O is available...This is one of the reasons why I think the NSM announcement regarding availability of their Super I/O is VERY IMPORTANT to Wave. The availability will mean cheap MASS deployment of the infrastructure needed for Wave to finally sell some of their products. IMHO
Sincerely,
Jas
Armp....re Why to invest in WAVX...I'm not going to get into a pissing match with you. I believe that your attitude towards some of the longs who are fed up with some of the mis-management is uncalled for. Curious that you say that never invest in products...only managers who have earned your confidence and then the product...but then you do NOT talk about management in why YOU have invested in WAVX...but rather the FIRST thing you mention are infact the products....I think that is the MAIN reason why any of us are still here....that we believe that the worls NEEDS what WAVE has to offer.
Sincerely,
Jas
Doma...re NSM...I understand that the old contract is no longer in effect...Having said this...I think that ANYTHING that increases the availability of TPMs increases the potential market for Wave. If NSM is able to get broad deployment of TPMs via its Super I/O chip...it will be a net positive for Wave....not to mention that Wave will get some sort of fee for its IP that has been used on the NSM super I/O. I think one of the factors why the Stock price has been stuck and now in decline has something to do with the perception that TPM deployment may or maynot take place on the scales that we have been hearing about. I think that once the Super I/O chip is available...we may start to see the flood gates opening regarding support from the various OEMs to ship PCs enabled with TPMs.... which in my opinion, will finally get the Trusted Computing concept off the ground.
Sincerely,
Jas
Rachelelise....re CC..."I have a more optimistic outlook than it sounded like SKS had on the call" I agree....that's the reason I was a buyer on friday at .75/share. Was I annoyed at the complete lack of revenues.....ABSOLUTELY! Was I annoyed at the perceived excuses that were being mentioned on the call....ABSOLUTELY. Am I POd that the BOD hasn't stepped in and told SKS that they need a COO and a new CFO...ABSOLUTELY! Do I think that the potential for success is still there...though a quarter or two later....ABSOLUTELY!!Do I think that Wave has positioned itself to take advantage of the market ONCE it arrives...ABSOLUTELY! Do I think the recent sell off has been WAY over done....ABSOLUTELY!! If the share price goes lower....will I be buying more shares...ABSOLUTELY!!!Why?? Remember the last round of financing??? It struck me as being strange to see the time frame in which the PP had to purchase an additional 3.5 million shares. To this investor...it meant that something significant was going to come down the pipe within 90 days to make it worth while for them to purchase an additional 3.5 million shares at 1/share....wonder what it could be? Personally...I think it's the long awaited NSM news...but who really knows...as my friend CPA would say
Sincerely,
Jas
Snackman...re fair weather stockholders...you're 100 % WRONG! in lumping us in that category. I have not taken a position of dumping SKS. I do have questions as to some of his suporting cast. I do wonder WHY we don't have a COO to run the day to day operations of the company. I do wonder WHY we don't have a manager in charge of generating revenues from the various assets that are under our control...Sign on line...WaveXpress...Smart Card tech...I can understand the delay in implementing our MAIN plan because of the delays that have been out of our control....however...there is NO excuse for not being able to create revenues out of the above. I do wonder WHY we are paying our CFO the salary and bonuses that we are...I do wonder WHY the BOD has FAILED to do their job...These are NOT questions that will disappear if we get a mind blowing pr sometime in the next month or two. They are valid questions and ones that NEED to be addressed...IMNSHO!
Sincerely,
Jas
Spin/Tony/Zen....Thanks for bringing CM over here...I think he accurately reflects what this "old timer" is feeling. Although I bought additional shares yesterday....I have very deep concerns regarding our management structure and culture. There needs to be a major league shakeup with the support cast around Steven and Lark.
Sincerely,
Jas
re Helpfulbacteria/CM post...Someone should e-mail his post to SKS....It cut to the chase regarding some of the major gripes the shareholders have at this time...(I tried to send an e-mail...but I'm having some trouble at this time.)
Sincerely,
Jas
re SFLK CC...Did anyone else listen to yesterdays SFLK CC? It's amazing how reading the Yahoo thread and actually listening to the CC can be literally like day and night. Personally, I was encouraged by what I heard....I bought some more this afternoon....but heck...I also bought some more WAVX also...so what do I know?? )))))))))))))))
Sincerely,
Jas
Bigtim...re management....I agree...we need to keep SKS where he is at....However...the BOD needs to be CHANGED! There has to be some accountability. We need a BOD that is something other than a rubber stamp.
Sincerely,
Jas
Bigtim...re Wavexpress....What you say maybe true...I don't know to be honest. However...didn't SKS say something along the line that revenues for Q2 would be driven by Wavexpress??
Sincerely,
Jas
Barge...re salaries....Your comments regarding the boards discussion about the salaries of upper management is WAY OF BASE!! This topic IS appropriate...IMHO! Unless their income/bonuses is somehow tied to the success of the company...we will continue to see this sort of attitude continue...LET THEM EAT CAKE!
Sincerely,
Jas
go-kitesurf...re CC...Although I agree with you in that the CC will mainly discuss the results of the past quarter....there is NOTHING that prevents SKS from discussing how the current quarter is going in generalities...imho
Sincerely,
Jas
Vader...re TWIC...I believe that given the fact that SFLK is a subcontractor to Bearing point on the contract involving the Dept. of State...it is a good possibility that SFLK is involved regarding this TWIC contract with Bearing Point...IMHO
Sincerely,
Jas
Hi Paul....I reckon that Yaya needs to change the title of this thread...which ofcourse should be changed to SFLK. Regarding todays sell off...not sure what to make of it...I know that they are going to report on Thursday...so is this some sort of positioning prior to the CC?? All I can say is that I bought some additional shares in the 2.50s today...FWIW
Sincerely,
Jas
Rachelelise...re SSPX/SFLK...If I were Wave...I would hold up on selling any shares for a few months now that they have done a recent round of financing. There are a number of potential awards that should be announced over the next 30-60 days...especially the TWIC program. Don't forget that we still need to get further details regarding the winning bid regarding the recently announced US VISIT program. Furthermore...according to their last CC...they were the subcontractor to the winning bid by Bearing point for the contract with the Dept. of State. Once again...details have not been released because the prime has not made an offical announcement yet. In short...there is enough potential news out there that could have a dramatic impact on the share price...fwiw
Sincerely,
Jas
re SSPX shares....Wave will be able to have their shares converted into SFLK shares at the end of trading on friday and will be available for trading on Monday...fwiw
Sincerely,
Jas
xxxxcslewis...re dilution....I repectfully disagree....it's not the dilution....it's the MISMANGEMENT that created the dilution!
Sincerely,
Jas
Zen...re nothing imminent in the way of stock moving news....Although I agree with your general disgust at todays financing news....I'm not sure I would agree with your assertion that there is not potential news in the pipe line. Personally, I think that the company got caught up in events beyond their control...and without significant news regarding deployment....there was no chance of getting our share price higher prior to the round of financing. I do believe that we will see significant news over the next 60-90 days that will provide evidence that WAVE is here to stay. Having said this....the mere fact that we found ourselves in this situation is nothing short of MISMANAGEMENT! In my job...as with other professions...we have to PREPARE ourselves for the WORST case event and hope for the best. In the case of Wave...the WORST case event was DELAY in the deployment schedule. For managment NOT to have been ready for this possibility is unbelievable!Finally...it truly concerns me that this was the BEST deal we could work out given our potential deployment in the near future.
Sincerely,
Jas
Re e-mail of SKS...ssprague@wavesys.com

Greenwavx...re merger....I think that the combination of these two companies allows the marketplace a one stop shop for an important component of their security needs....a smartcard with biometrics ....all from the SAME company. This ckombination will be very important over the next year or two...especially after the 911 commission recs. regarding the IMPORTANCE of biometrics.
Sincerely,
Jas
re Shareholder meeting...is anyone going to attend either the SFLK or SSPX shareholder meeting on Aug 5th?? If I get time....I'll try to go to the SSPX meeting...

OT re SFLK.....

Doma...re high end...I thought I had recently read that the 915 boards would be in machines in the sub-1000 level whereas the 925 boards would be pushing the 1500-2000 dollar levels....FWIW
Sincerely,
Jas
Good evening Paul....Nice move on getting in on some SSPX! Personally...I've been accumulating SFLK....I've got a ton of SSPX shares already....(just in case the merger falls through) I think we should start to see some details regarding the recently announced contract with Accenture....and hopefully will see some details regarding the contract win with the Dept. of State (SFLK is a subcontractor to Beaaaring Point who actually won the contract.) I think this sector is going to get red hot over thenext 6-12 months....use this time to position yourself )) Have a safe and TERRIFIC 4th!!!!!!!!
Sincerely,
Jas
Twinkie...re Todays PR...IMHO...the significance of todays announcement is simple....It represents the evolution of our product relationship with Intel. I believe that the first MB was simply Intels way of getting their toes wet. The latest MBs represent the FUTURE product cycle from Intel. Infact...there was a recent article quoting an Intel Exec. stating that he hoped that the new chipset would be in HALF of all the new PCs by the end of the year. The fact that Intel has chosen to bundle our product with a product line that represents their next generation product cycle is VERY IMPORTANT!
Sincerely,
Jas
CMF/Paul...What did you think of today's PR? The total number was not nearly as important as to WHICH office the products were sold to...IMHO I'm continuing to accumulate SFLK shares in preparation for next year.
Sincerely,
Jas
OT OT re President Ronald Reagan....
Mr. President....You will be greatly missed. May your soul depart the bonds of this world and come to rest in the house of the lord. Thank you for a job well done!
