We continue to explore licensing and product sales opportunities with leading defense, commercial and consumer companies. Our discussions with potential customers include, but
are not limited only to, the following:
Continuing discussions with the DRDO to license our technology for production and use for India military applications.( just passed the testing milestone)
We have a letter of interest with a large U.S. based aerospace company, and we have provided a scope of work with detailed milestones and a commercial proposal for
commercial aviation applications. Depending on the availability of sufficient funding, our plans for fiscal 2014 include progress on various milestones related to this scope
of work. (There were Boeing rumors of fuel cells on planes)
We have provided a scope of work with detailed milestones and a commercial proposal to a Fortune 100 Defense Supplier for an underwater unmanned vehicle. Underwater drones..Neah has the correct fuel cell for this.
We have commercial proposals for the BuzzBar™ technology to a large consumer company who has expressed interest in this product. This is the interesting one..my guess is a company involved in drone delivery
A large commercial entity in India has expressed significant interest in the BuzzBar™ suite of products, and as part of the initial limited production run, we expect to ship units to this customer. My guess based on the loan to Neah Rolta TUSC, Inc.
We continue to submit grant proposals to various defense agencies for both the PowerChip™ and the BuzzBar™ technologies. These are jointly submitted with the defense supplier and other parties.
Our business model includes the potential to license the manufacturing of our fuel cells or to purchase product directly from the Company. We believe that our licensing strategy will be particularly attractive to customers who have access to their own computer chip manufacturing capacity, because our PowerChip ™ products can be manufactured with existing equipment used in the semiconductor industry without significant capital outlays for new equipment.
We also intend to design and distribute the fuel cartridges that these fuel cells require for refueling. We anticipate that we will generate future revenues from the sale and licensing of both fuel cartridges and the completed fuel cells. Our business plan contemplates that we will subcontract to third parties substantially all of the production and assembly of the fuel cells and fuel cartridges.
For the PowerChip™ technology, we are focusing our initial sales strategy on markets requiring anaerobic or low oxygen content environments, such as underwater, transportation, aerospace and military applications. Our product focus for fiscal 2014 will be directed to our business with the aforementioned US defense suppliers and the proposal to the commercial
aviation provider, as well as fuel cell range extenders for electric and other recreational vehicles.
For the PowerChip™ and the BuzzBar™ products, we will also continue to pursue adoption in the consumer markets. While the size of the consumer markets is very significant, the adoption cycle can be much longer than the other markets that we are currently focused on. These longer adoption cycles are driven by longer lead times for product development, distribution, supply chain implementation, and consumer specific safety testing. We are in preliminary discussions with a large consumer company for consumer applications, which, if successful, is expected to take 6 to 16 months for product placement on store shelves.
The deployment of our business strategy has been delayed during 2012 and 2013 by the availability of capital and our inability to raise sufficient capital to fund ongoing operations, sales and marketing and production. Assuming we are able to continue to obtain sufficient financing, we intend to focus on production and delivery of products to customers and sales efforts.
We intend to continue to develop business relationships and demonstrate our technology to potential leading edge adopters

Tekion’s world class group of scientists and technologists in our Advanced Materials department has and is doing some amazing things. It is where science meets engineering and the result may be too small to see but very large in its impact. We believe the commercialization of all of our technologies will be dependent on our ability to utilize this cutting edge knowledge and processes from the nanomaterials field.
Tekion Solutions, Inc. is pursuing “direct liquid fueled fuel cell” fuel cell technologies. These liquid fuels allow us to develop products that range in sizes from milliwatts to kilowatts.
Our first commercially available fuel cell technology will be our direct formic acid fuel cell using Formira as it’s fuel. Formira is our brand name for a specialized formic acid.
At Tekion, our engineering analysis has shown that one type of fuel cell technology will not satisfy all the different portable power application requirements. For example, small portable electronics like mobile phones require a certain amount of power (usually 3 watts) which must fit within a cavity of approximately 10cc to 30cc. In order for a fuel cell technology to accomplish this, it must have the capability of operating at a high power density. Out of all the direct fuel micro fuel cells, (fuel cells which do not require hydrogen to operate) the direct formic acid fuel cell technology has demonstrated the highest power density.
As a result of this unique characteristic the engineers at our U.S. subsidiary, Renew Power, were able to integrate this fuel cell into a mobile phone utilizing the same space used for the battery. This was the world’s first fuel cell inside a mobile phone. These same engineers also made a direct formic acid fuel cell the size of a penny and demonstrated it powering a fan. Our product family for the direct formic acid fuel cell technology will range from milliwatts for sensors to 3 – 5 watts for mobile phones.
The acquisition of Tekion’s assets in November, 2013 brought to Neah Power several of the above
mentioned patents and the capability to build upon its silicon and formic acid technologies. It is upon
these new and innovative technologies that the promise of long-term growth has been based. It stands to
reason that the value of the assets from the Tekion acquisition reinforces the overall valuation of the
company.
The company has never come out and said this..but its in the report..
http://consiliumglobalresearch.com/consilium_PDFs/NPWZ_Initiation_9-10-2014.pdf
$165,000 in license to the Department of Defense, and sales from the new battery company...what do you want from a penny stock.....the point is its and investment in the future... plus a fairly large tax loss carry forward.. if some firm wanted to acquire them...more than double the current market cap...if you read the report its fairly clear the time frame to triple is two years...if you put a value on the IP is much higher with a some fairly nice number to negotiate with a take over or merging firm. Show me a better penny stock...this is moving up...
Valuation Based on Potential Revenues
If one looks at the above table, the median value multiple for enterprise value to revenues is 4.5. A 3x
multiple in general is not unusual for a risk oriented situation such as Neah Power where scalability
potential is extremely high. With projected revenues for Neah Power of $14.5 million in two years’ time, a
3x multiple would produce a market valuation of $50.7 million
http://consiliumglobalresearch.com/consilium_PDFs/NPWZ_Initiation_9-10-2014.pdf
Tax Loss Carryforwards
Neah Power has over $50 million in tax loss carry-forwards. Given the complicated rules governing tax
loss-carry-forwards and the circumstances by which those accumulated losses can be applied, we would
nonetheless suggest that there is meaningful value in the company’s NOLs should a merger or
acquisition with another company take place. Certainly, if the company’s commercial initiatives gain
traction, these NOLs will be valuable in protecting the company’s cash generation for some time.
Intellectual Property – 2013 Acquisition of Tekion Assets
Over the years the company has amassed a substantial stable of 14 patents, and various pending
patents and patent applications.
In late 2011, an independent, professional IP evaluation company, Dolcera Corp., assessed Neah
Power’s patent portfolio and determined a valuation range of approximately $800 million to $1.6 billion.
This valuation was based on the projected growth rates in various markets, the ability of the company to
garner market share, and the types of royalty arrangements that can be reasonably expected. All this is
contingent upon the uniqueness of the company’s proprietary technology. The company’s patents are
slated to expire in the years 2020 - 2030.
The acquisition of Tekion’s assets in November, 2013 brought to Neah Power several of the above
mentioned patents and the capability to build upon its silicon and formic acid technologies. It is upon
these new and innovative technologies that the promise of long-term growth has been based. It stands to
reason that the value of the assets from the Tekion acquisition reinforces the overall valuation of the
company.

Neah Power Systems pitching on-board formic acid reforming for automotive hydrogen fuel cell applications
http://www.greencarcongress.com/2014/06/20140609-neah.html
9 June 2014
Neah Power Systems, Inc. is in preliminary discussions with a fuel cell company to license formic acid reforming technology for certain grid scale applications, and is also identifying appropriate automotive partners for the technology, opening up new Served Available Markets (SAM) that are very significant, according to CEO Chris D’Couto. The company recently published a white paper discussing its patent pending technology.
Formic acid, which is a common preservative and antibacterial agent and is produced naturally in ants and bees, is also is an energy-dense storage medium for hydrogen, with theoretical gravimetric energy density of 1,700 Wh/kg. Already a commodity chemical, formic acid is a raw material for a variety of products, and is available at low cost in bulk quantities from a variety of suppliers. Formic acid is also considered a carbon neutral, renewable energy source, and can also be obtained by aqueous catalytic partial oxidation of wet biomass.
When formic acid is heated it produces carbon dioxide and water, and upon exposure to catalysts, formic acid decomposes to hydrogen and carbon monoxide. Although it must be handled safely, unlike more traditional fuels, such as gasoline, formic acid is not flammable in 85% concentration. The principal danger from formic acid is from skin or eye contact with concentrated liquid or vapors.
Neah presently offers four sizes of reformers for hydrogen fuel cells in 5W, 10W, 50W, and 100W configurations for demonstration purposes. The reformer system is designed to provide a sufficient amount of hydrogen to a fuel cell system that uses hydrogen gas as a fuel. The fuel tank is adjustable to the energy, or run-time required. Other power ranges and form factors can be made available in customized configurations as well, the company said.
Neah’s reformers use twin pumps: one pump supplies the proper amount of formic acid for H2 production as reformate, while the other supplies fuel to the catalytic burner to provide a continuous heat supply to the reformer, through a heat exchanger.
After exiting the heat exchanger, the reformate is mixed with a small amount of air and passed through a preferential oxidation (PrOx) reactor to remove trace carbon monoxide (CO) content to less than 1ppm. The reformate is then passed to a fuel cell stack to produce electric power, with anode off-gases being vented to the atmosphere. The air supply for the catalytic burner is provided by a small blower.
The hydrogen produced can then be used by a variety of fuel cell types – solid oxide fuel cells (SOFC), proton exchange membrane (PEM), etc. for either grid scale power or automotive power.

Buzz Aldrin & Steve Wozniak Plan Hydrogen Fuel Cell Vehicle Drive to South Pole
SEATTLE, WA/SANTA MONICA, CA - Confirming a report that first surfaced last summer, retired Astronaut Buzz Aldrin and Apple Inc. co-founder Steve Wozniak are planning to drive a fuel cell-powered vehicle across Antarctica from the McMurdo Station on Ross Island to the South Pole this December.
Verification came last month from an unlikely source, a couple of sentences midway through a Feb. 20 press release by Neah Power Systems, Inc., of nearby Bothell, WA announcing that Col. Aldrin had been named to the company’s board of directors (see Transitions). Neah is developing what are described as silicon-based direct methanol micro fuel cells for portable electronic devices.
“The trip will be part of a research expedition slated for December 2007, and is to be filmed in 3D for director James Cameron,” added the release. Cameron directed “Terminator” and “Terminator 2;” “Aliens;” and “True Lies,” among others.
Neah’s release said the vehicle would be a Hummer H1 converted to hydrogen fuel cell power, but the trip’s organizer, Nick Baggarly of Drive Around the World, a Santa Monica, CA-based group, told H&FCL the exact vehicle type and make has not yet been picked. “It will be a modified American production vehicle,” he said, adding that many details still need to be worked out, including selection of an integrator.
A fact sheet provided by the organization about the ZERO SOUTH expedition - for Zero Emissions and South Pole - says in fact four vehicles - identical base models - will travel 1024 miles from McMurdo Station to the South Pole. In addition to the fuel cell version operating on hydrogen, three others running, respectively, on biodiesel, ultra-lean gasoline and the latest lithium battery technology are planned to make the journey.
Aldrin and Wozniak will be joining a team of Caltech, JPL and NASA scientists on this trip, according to the fact sheet, “searching for extreme forms of life and simulating future human exploration on Mars.” A team from Google Earth will map, track and blog the expedition, and video podcast dispatches are planned to be sent daily, the document said.
Schwarzenegger Aide Tamminen Is Adviser
Drive Around the World is a 501 ©) (3) non-profit organization which has staged three previous long-distance driving expeditions to both inspire a sense of adventure and also to support worthy causes. The most recent one was a 44,000 mile journey with nine volunteers and four Land Rovers to raise funds in support of Parkinson’s Disease research. Members of the group’s 15-member advisory board include Terry Tamminen, former secretary of the California Environmental Protection Agency, former cabinet secretary and now special assistant to Gov. Schwarzenegger, and Chris Paine, director of the documentary, “Who Killed the Electric Car?”
Word of the project first surfaced last July on an Internet site, “Tech Trader Daily/Barrons Online.” At the time a report from the AlwaysOn conference at Stanford University said Wozniak had mentioned the idea “in passing.” Attempts then to verify the report were unsuccessful.

According to Dr. Chris D'Couto, Neah Power's CEO and the featured guest in the interview below, a five kilowatt hour fuel cell running off a tank of liquid formic acid would be configured to trickle charge an electric vehicle's battery, allowing it, like the gasoline engine generator in the BMW i3 REx, to offer extended range capability. Unlike the i3 REx, the only tailpipe emission would be water vapor and CO2.

Neah Power Systems Announces Formira Hydrogen-on-Demand Cover Feature on ‘Automotive Industries’ Magazine
In the case of Neah Power Systems Direct Methanol Silicon Based Fuel Cell, which is designed for defense and space applications, the company has demonstrated more than 2,000 hours of continuous operation with less than a 4% reduction in power. With regard to the automotive sector and Neah’s Formic Acid Fuel Cell, drivers of electric vehicles commonly suffer from range anxiety. While an electric vehicle may go 200 or 250 miles without a charge a combination of fuel cell and fuel together with a balance of system could travel 500 or even 800 miles depending upon the requirements and design. - See more at: http://www.ai-online.com/Adv/Previous/show_issue.php?id=6509&search=true#sthash.rvBhpGVQ.VgMNznYp.dpuf
Just cover your shorts and get onboard already.....
This is going over penny land...just search the patents and catalyst...
Check the patents and who controls them. Check which catalyst are in the patents.
Do you think the board of Neah Power was assembled by accident...
I agree 100 percent with that statement.
Mantra Tech makes the formic acid.... from the Coal plants and cement plants
Neah tech runs the cars on the formic acid...
Then you need to look up who controls the formira patent.. and where the formic acid will come from to put in all the cars...Then the light will come on..
Tekion and the formira are linked to Neah and Neah has the patent below 500 W and Mantra has the patent above...which went to Alstrom and now maybe GE..
Its a chicken and the egg thing...without the cheap formic acid the fuel cells for the cars further down the road..
IMO the recent delay by MVTG was the delay in getting the Catalyst from Europe, That's were Neah's Troy Michigan connection comes in....

Alstrom might be out and GE is in...just a thought..
Yeah funny how that worked out isn't no news for so long they get shares base on normal CEO pay and then...look we can enable the fuel cells for the automotive industry... but I don't think it any different than any other small cap company that final makes it big...now we just need to see at what price.. and what scale around the world...
This is power with out the large scale power plants and transmission lines. And the power company will be for it because the will be the ones selling the formic acid....IMO Follow the formira patent..it belongs to Alstrom for larger than 500W plants...

GE announced today that it made a binding offer to acquire the thermal power, renewable energy and electricity grid businesses of the French engineering conglomerate Alstom for $13.5 billion in cash.
GE said in a press release that the Alstom board “positively received” its offer and appointed a committee of independent directors to review the bid by June 2. The deal is expected to close in 2015
(Reuters) - European Union antitrust regulators have set a Feb. 23 deadline for a decision on whether to clear General Electric's planned purchase of most of French engineering group Alstom's power equipment business.
The European Commission said on Tuesday the companies requested approval for their deal on Jan. 19. The EU competition watchdog can either approve the takeover unconditionally or demand concessions if it has concerns it may lead to higher prices.
U.S. conglomerate GE received the green light from French authorities for the deal in June last year after agreeing to create jobs and to form an energy joint venture with Alstom.

Hydrogen Fuel from Formic Acid
A simple new process generates hydrogen for fuel cells.
Maybe depends on what he know at new deals and contacts...I can see how this could enable fuel cells for cars...but the electric motors are going in everything...scooters drones ATVs.robots, exoskeletons, home charging systems.. the licenses for this will come offices that Shorai batteries has just outside of Silicon Valley.... Just think about for a bit this wont be a penny stock long...
[b]There are other fuel cell companies you told me and I agree but they need to be mount on a bus or forklift truck because they are so heavy, the neah power fuel cell and the reformer can go in lightweight plane, loaded with other gear.... Think about it...
Follow the my other post about the formira fuel ( I that work out like they say the fuel will be cheap world wide..) Any one else read this either reply with a short note or go and follow me, * ihub speak for mark and then we might get a small view it how many of us are reading Ihub posting for NPWZ
So why sell share now..after hold for so long...who does that...summit been in since the start... but any one can and should sell some shares along the way take some profit off the table, and this is not much volume if you your sell has 4 million shares..it could be profit taking...and that ok..The CFO him self sold some shares...but he got his at the basement and keep the news flow off...til the shares bottomed out at .0004 and gave himself 60 million shares...so there are some with shares to sell...and still have mountains of shares left..
But that all a guess...need proof... the news is coming and acquisition of the battery company and the buzz cell will be out sometime and the price will be above the .02 and .05 range as it was in the past..it will take some time or some better news to get things going but news will leak out from those involved and they will purchase..and this will build..there is just not that many small cap investor at the moment. IMO
but even that trend is set to change..
This time there is outside confirmation that the unit work..$165,000 for the testing milestone...not product just the milestone...
India needs the fuel cells in the worst way as do alot of third world countries the conference has a third world spin to it as well...
This might be the reason things are coming out in print...and the fact the plant is not on some DOE list...duh its in Canada....

Might just a small cap fund investor there that place a stake...
Taking the dog and pony show on the road to a green innovation conference wonder if the can connect the fuel cell to an EV ... scooter would do it so would drone. They should show one with standard equipment and one with the fuel cell then fuel up with solar panels and formira. Then folk will get it. Amazon Google and Dominos aren't going to use batteries that last mins. And when the fly them back and leave the in the sun they will fill themselves up. This is scaleable and that should be part of the demo
