Let's discuss Friday. Send me a contact number.
Today is a great day for news! Don't you think?
Brian
Potencia/Bebida
President
That is a frickin' riot!
It's the multiple paths to revenue that I find so promising, in addition to these rev. streams existing in an expanding, increasingly globalized market. Well, those things plus the loooooowwwww float!
Bingo - great point Rams.
Well, I hit the 0036's when that was the ASK...
If CEO Watson is lying about past #'s and about growth being achieved through the recent acquisitions - then you're right ArmStock.
However, Watson:
- has been clear with shareholders on his growth strategy thus far (acquisition phase followed by branding/marketing phase)
- has followed through on the acquistions as promised, in the time period promised.
- has been very accessable & in that sense, transparent, with shareholders.
From all of this, my big picture take is Watson is engaged in the critical growth activities a small start-up co. has to be engaged in, and is not lying. If he's not lying, then I really do think one can reasonably deduce that GRDO, currently at 0017, is undervalued. And yes, this is my opinion. Maybe I didn't write that last time, in which case I understand you taking issue with my statement.
ya, well, 18, 0019 more the goal, right? I've got some left for eod...
Everyone makes their own decision when to sell...but with REVENUE NEWS PENDING after a series of 4 acquisitions, one might pause to consider what that will mean for a stock that is currently way under-valued...
Ya -keeping this green would be good - I just put in an order for 250K at the 0017 ASK, will have more dry powder to throw at this this week...
Well, I'm a believer...just grabbed 200K at 0036, w/ another few hundred pending. Adding to my core position in the 0019's and the ones I bought up higher on the last run.
This stock just climbs so high so quickly...I've never seen anything like it. Artfest comes through with a portion of what they've pr'd this will rocket back up, imo. If they deliver on 100% of what they've PR'd, and I'll be wishing I bought a truck-load more at this level!
We're going to start seeing a major focus on branding/marketing campaigns - with PR's - beginning this quarter, and accelerating into Q3, Q4, according to CEO Watson.
yep, that's smart - past the 0008's confirms the breakout...
Would love to see those NASCARs with the Piranha logo or a Koma logo splattered all over it! It's gonna happen!
OH YA, I can envision that stark, evil, fanged Piranha outline - like Dan Hardy has on his bandana - blown up huge on the hood of one of the cars!
Potential exposure to ARCA racing, too!

that's big-time marketing Orca!. Difficult to overstate the impact of branding a product such as Potencia (or KOMA or Piranah water) via NASCAR & Daytona!:
"With its roots as regional entertainment in the Southeastern U.S., NASCAR has now grown to become the second-most viewed professional sport in terms of television ratings inside the U.S., ranking behind only the National Football League.[1] Internationally, NASCAR races are broadcast in over 150 countries. NASCAR claims to hold 17 of the top 20 attended sporting events in the U.S., and claims 75 million fans who purchase over $3 billion in annual licensed product sales. Many marketers consider NASCAR fans the most brand-loyal in all of sports and as a result, Fortune 500 companies sponsor NASCAR more than any other Motor Sport. [2] In 2007 NASCAR was the second richest motorsport in the world, behind only Formula One."

I agree completely shorty - Potencia brings scaled distribution, contracted/monetized retail shelf space, marketing infrastructure, new CEO Brian Weber's NASCAR background & contacts for branding - not to mention intriguing potential tie-in's w/ EESO's business- all exponentializing BBDA's potential. With more news pending, I'm buyin' as much as I can at these levels!
nice entry on the 0005's btw shorty, tried to get my father in on the action but things are moving too fast for him these days, lol, prolly just as well I don't bring him over the dark side of pk stocks...
we just need X to get the old team back...where are ya?
Lol's! Who woulda thunk we'd go legit? Let 'er rip!!!
GET OUT! No it's NOT...burnshortymuthaf'nburn back where he belongs!! NOW this board is ready to go! This is this guy's home turf and if he says it's gonna run, it runs. It is just that simple folks. Good to hear you're back in on Monday buddy, methinks this could get fun...
Piranha logo on the hood of NASCAR would be AWESOME exposure!!! What's interesting here is Brian Weber's former company, RaceFumes LLC, DID have product placement in NASCAR racing before they got bought out last year! (link from STB: http://www.racefumes.com/press/07072008_acquision.htm)
absolutely PW, glad to contribute to the collective intelligence in whatever way. And GOLLY I'd like to make a lot of money here...
Sure PW, I'll add to my prior post, redundancy with other posters be damned. From my conversation with Watson:
Timeline for ungagging the TA: Watson said he’s been asked that a lot today, & asked if I was on the iHub board. He said previous mods on the GRDO iHub board (pre-Seabiscuit/NOB/PW from what I gathered) had suggested to him, around the time the TA was gagged, then ungagged, then gagged again - it would be better to either keep it one or the other, as opposed to keep going back & forth with it. Further, even though the 4th acquisition is pending (still working on it) & the next focus will be on branding & marketing efforts, he will still be “keeping an eye on” good acquisition targets and doesn’t rule out – at all – additional acquisitions in 2009. In that scenario, he wants the TA gagged so as not to cede any ground in aq negotiations. Therefore, he said he is leaning towards having PR’s answer those questions & not ungagging the TA. (I will be interested in hearing others take-away from Watson on this point, as he’s clearly spoken with several of us about it recently.)
2nd qtr focus & beyond: Watson said his primary focus in Q2, Q3, Q4 & into 2010 will be branding the products & establishing a strong internet presence. He said for me to look for continued PR’s on marketing affiliation program progress in the weeks and months ahead. More specifically, he said by around the 3rd week in May GuardDog should be “affiliated in all 60 malls.” We’ll then see the branding and online marketing efforts further increase through Q2, Q3 etc. And through all of this, he did stress growth, but also made a particular point to stress his focus on quality of service. In fact, in my summary here, I’m stressing “growth” where he in fact put more of a stress/focus on the service to members. Makes sense, as you gotta renew the ones ya got…
Bottom-line, I’m glad I called & spoke with Watson. I’m optimistic he’ll PR revenues after this 4th acquisition is completed. As many have been saying, that will tell all. He follows through on that, & the #’s are reasonable to good, then we have a very good thing here, IM(very)HO.
NOB: I will say, I concur - regarding James Watson. Just got off the phone with him. He comes across knowledgeable, highly energetic, thoughtful and engaged. In prior posts I’ve heard others stress that it seems "he really cares.” I admit to rolling my eyes a bit when I read that…you know, play the violins & wake me when we’re @ $.02 or something. But after speaking with him, it’s undeniable: one of my primary take-aways from that conversation was I just spoke with an executive who comes across as authentically personally invested in & excited about the growth/success of this start-up, GuardDog. That in and of itself does squat for the pps and does not mean it’s destined to rise, nor guarantees it won't fall. But it is, nonetheless, a check mark in the + column. I’ve worked at start-ups before and if the energy & belief ain’t there at the exec levels, good luck. Well, he’s got it.
I know another poster – Shinebox, I believe – is going to provide a recap of his/her conversation with Watson soon, so I will not go into all the details of my conversation with him so as to avoid redundancy – but I will quickly review one of his responses.
I asked if he would weigh the benefits of the past 3 acquisitions - & the pending one - more on the merits of increased membership totals OR on the new technology/capability gained? Long story short, his answer was much more heavily weighted towards “membership gains.”
As membership gains = revenue gains, I’m looking forward to the PR detailing that information.
Not much doubt that Potencia products made it's way to store shelves:
OK, thanks a lot for your input e-ore. I see you're mostly looking at technicals in the upticking scenario as opposed compelling revenue #'s driving things (in short-term anyway). I agree with you re the current, or worst-case, lower supports holding strong with the #'s of buys I'd anticipate pouring in if that were to occur. We shall see! As for me, I'm buyin' and holdin'. Thanks again.
If you don't mind me asking, what's your projection for where this goes in the shorter-term e-ore?
Well, I'm in for another 175K @ 0018. Getting close the price of my core holdings now...hopefully we see this thing break out in a reasonable period of time.
dude, your posts crack me the F up...
hmmm, Scottrade has been showing 8. I'll up it.
Been trying to p/u more at the 008 Ask - not getting filled yet.
That's a great song Wayne. I don't know country music much but that guy's got some talent. And yes, I can see the tie-in with some of the posting going on...
In the 6 or so months I've been reading, and very ocassionally participating, in the BBDA board, I've never seen a more upfront MOD than Wyatt. Read through his posts, and go back a ways when BBDA was languishing in the 0001 0002 levels. For what it's worth, he tells it as he sees it.
The past several posts, gallows humor and all, remind me of the general sentiment of the "long's" before the last run up to 0023. Good sign. I think we're now ready to go again, lol
Well my friend, you don't speak for me...and I bought quite a lot of shares in the 0030's...right up to 0039 in fact, and always on the Ask or higher than the Ask (taking a page out of NOB's book).
holding steady is boring, but OK...a dip to 0015 would be awesome, IMO, as I'd get silly with all the shares I'd be able to buy, and moving up is what we're all waiting for and expecting, with time, and with good reason.
New to this board, just grabbed 250K at 0024 to get in as a start. GLTA!
Yep, I remember you slammed the 0035's hard last week, so I hear ya. I agree with most of the opinions here that anything in the .0020's & .0030's will be seen in our review mirrors in due time, though - so it'll all be good!
