Timing is everything!
Right here, right now, EVERYONE on this message board and invested in KBLB will, IMHO, be able to tell their story about how they got in on the "NEXT GREAT INVESTMENT!"
GLTA! HOLDING THE GOLDEN!!!
I second that!
I'm not a marketer but I did stay in a Holiday Inn Express last night.
Thanks, Yankee!
I will take a correction like that any day!
Will look forward to getting our word out there even more!!!
Even when KBLB provides my new tax-bracket financial capability to purchase one, I think I'll pass.
We don't have the money to be throwing at a Marketing Campaign right now while we're focused on ramping up for Mass Production. That's cart before the horse type stuff.
Besides, many industrial companies don't even market their products. We may not have to, either. Depends on what markets we intend to target overall. B2B vs. B2C require vastly different marketing approaches.
The word is getting out about KBLB. We don't need slick marketing gimmicks to get where we want to go.
GLTA! Holding the Golden!!!
Nothing proprietary about their marketing. We can use it later if it works.
What a marketing gimmick!
I see it as a way for them to garner market intel on what the public would like to see from a Spider Silk product. But, with a Hidden Agenda:
In addition to symbolizing the proportion of plant to microbial life found on Earth, the shirt demonstrates the potential for an entirely animal-free manufacturing process.
The next question becomes...
Have you or would you eat the Bombyx Mori kind?
Not the Spider-Silk infused kind. Just the original silkworm.
Has anyone?
Would anyone?
Easy sell once they're made aware of the potential and where we stand in relation to achieving that potential.
IMHO, next week is the next "bump up" before the real explosion comes with Mass Production!
Just very grateful to be a part of it.
GLTA! Holding the Golden!!!
Kind of like here...
There is, but, everything is kind of vague!
That's a complete answer if ever I got one!
Thanks so much, GT! You answered everything I was questioning.
Good luck to you and ALL!
Q3/Q4, Remember?
I'm a sucker for the double entendre, what can I say?
Besides, I can still....HOLD THE GOLDEN!!!
AND AM!!!
HAPPILY!!!
Still VERY, VERY CHEAP, IMHO.
I've heavily lobbied to those not invested to get in prior to Monday's open if they can.
GLTA! Holding the Golden!!!
Thanks for the insight, GTman!
Do you happen to know if ALL harvested mulberry will be used or if some of the crop has the potential to be inferior for our silkworms?
If inferior would we then "simply" just sell the inferior crop for other purposes (regular silkworm company uses, nutraceutical companies, etc.)?
I'm interested to know about the maximization of the crop yield and if the waste, if any, can actually still be used to generate revenue.
Very curious.
Thanks in advance.
Because the chart runs independent of the CEO
"Please keep in mind that ceremonial events, which I believe that you're referring to, are happening at a different speed than the official events. The Company should continue to announce material events as they're confirmed and logistical considerations allow."
Ben pretty much summed up why we haven't received the news everyone expects to receive: Because they're not ready to release it or required to at the present.
Key="Ceremonial Events are happening at a different speed than the official events." That's key to keep in mind. The material event will be triggered by the actual signing on the dotted line (the Execution Date) NOT the ceremony itself.
In checking the past 8-k releases I noticed the trend was to release a PR in conjunction with the 8-k. Financial events saw the PR mentioned in the 8-k on or near the date of the 8-k, but NEVER BEFORE. The other 8-k's were material events which were of a non-financial nature which the PR was actually mentioned as the "trigger event" for the 8-k.
But, NEWS IS COMING!!!
IMO, we set a new ATH!
GLTA!!! Holding the Golden!!!
Thanks for checking on this and posting the response, Kingsbolt!
Let's say we are waiting for the 8-k to be released before any information regarding what happened at the "Signing Ceremony" on Monday in Vietnam.
If that's the case, and the 8-k does not have to be released until 4 days after the "execution date" then...
Technically, the Execution Date is..
the date on which the contract has been signed by ALL THE NECESSARY PARTIES.
Couldn't KBLB potentially violate insider trading laws by releasing information prior to the 8-k?
This may be the main reason for the "quietness."
It was posted on May 6th, so, good catch.
And to think a little over a month ago the Market Cap was around $200 mil and here we are in a short time sitting at nearly $300 mil just waiting to BUST OUT! IMHO

Even after seeing Merriam-Webster's derivation of Prodigy?:
Is a prodigy a genius or a monster - or both? Nowadays, it's the talent that shines through, but back in the 15th century the word's meaning was more strongly influenced by that of its Latin ancestor, prodigium, meaning "omen" or "monster." Back then, a prodigy could be any strange or weird thing that might be an omen of things to come. Even in modern English, the word sometimes refers to an extraordinary deed or accomplishment.
Fully on board with your opinion, Jedi!
Thanks again for the insight, Yankee. Very much appreciated.
Will be very interesting to see what the modified Business Plan will look like once mass production starts.
My pleasure.
You or anyone else have any insight on the rest of that post?
Which then begs the question: "Does that mean Kraig will be adding another revenue stream to their already potential plays?"
We know they will be utilizing the mulberry leaves for our product. Will they also have a license to sell the yield elsewhere? Let's say we get a "bad batch" which won't work for our Spider Silk purposes. Would they then be able to sell it to a secondary market(regular silkworms, nutraceuticals, etc.)? Thus working to eliminate wasted supply while getting compensation for the waste.
King Sgold, I believe, is Prodigy.
Translator has issues with that word. It constantly returns things like, "Divine," "God," "Than KY," in reference to Prodigy. If one plugs "Prodigy" into that sentence it kinda makes sense:
King Sgold (Prodigy) also signed a contract to cover products with mulberry farming cooperatives.
Thanks, 3Dcadman!
INSTANT CLASSIC!
I want my...
I want my...
I want my KBLB!!!
Great one, King!
Kudos, Jetow. And exactly my point.
Waiting is the hardest part. But sometimes is the most important.
Starting a company is easy. Anyone can do it.
Running a company is a little harder.
Running a SUCCESSFUL company even harder.
Running a biotech company even harder than a regular service or widget company.
Running a multinational company even harder.
Running a multinational biotech company even harder still.
Running a multinational biotech company which specializes in Spider Silk, a once-in-a-lifetime, Holy Grail, product is OFF THE CHARTS difficult.
Running a SUCCESSFUL...
We should all get the point.
There is SO MUCH that needs to be done and, more importantly, NEEDS TO BE DONE RIGHT, to offer the company a chance at future sustainability, that it is mind-boggling.
Early on, lab work that achieved something was considered a success. Lab work was called "production." They were producing something, but, it was relegated to the lab. Samples were provided of some of the stuff. All in all, it was trial and error.
IMO, there is no way Mr. Thompson hires Mr. Rice as COO if he wasn't comfortable with the success in the lab offering a chance at real-world mass production. Since Mr. Rice's hire one can see how the company has ramped up into the real-world application of the company's product(s). More trial and error. But moving forward, nonetheless.
To the point Mr. T was comfortable in going multinational in order to provide our products on a mass scale. His patience is our pain. His diligence is what's creating our angst. We want things yesterday! Unfortunately, one cannot expect what KBLB is to accomplish to be handled like yesterday.
As difficult as it is to wait, take solace in the fact we've waited this long and have seen tremendous gains just in the last two months. The stock is holding it's ground in the .30's as opposed to fluctuating between cents and a dime for years! We are on the precipice!
We may be hungry and some may call us foolish for holding on, but...
IN THE IMMORTAL WORDS OF STEVE JOBS:
"Stay Hungry. Stay Foolish."
Great things are coming!
Sooner than later.
GLTA!!! Holding the Golden!!!
Bravo, Silk! Bravo!!!
Makes Spider Sense to me....
I might as well face it, too...
I'm addicted to silk.
Spider Silk, that is. (Cue up the Beverly Hillbillies theme! )

Just trying to help with the hunger pains.
Shall we call it a WAEG?
Wild Ass Educated Guess!
Perfect summation, Hope!
Thanks for taking my long-windedness and summarizing it succinctly.
It's good to be KBLB shareholders RIGHT NOW! IMO, we are about to be richly rewarded!!!
GO KBLB! Holding the Golden!!!
7 years, 10 years, yesterday, it's all relative. I get wanting to make one's money. That's why we invest. And certainly why we invest in KBLB-we see the potential to do just that. Just because one's only been a short-timer on one message board doesn't mean they haven't been involved with a stock for longer than their board duration. Besides, long-suffering doesn't make one a genius.
Just because I bought in 7 years ago doesn't mean I wasn't doing due diligence prior to that which then prompted the decision to invest in KBLB. I am fully aware of where the stock was to where it is now. And I'm uniquely qualified to bestow my management/production/logistical knowledge on this board in coordination with the stock's performance. I personally endured Top Execs bumbling their way to success more than enough times in my career. Some didn't "get it" and probably still don't. Some grew into their positions and excelled once they became comfortable with what they could do.
Kinda like an athlete when they say "the game slowed down" for them. That's where Mr. Thompson is.
In the early days as CEO it was just a label applied to him because it was HIS company and he was the Top Dog. To expect any CEO to be super-successful right out of the gate is naive. To expect a Biotech CEO starting from scratch with the Holy Grail, World-changing product of Spider Silk to be super-successful without any setbacks is super-naive.
I get wanting to make one's money. But if one expects a penny stock to grant all their lottery-like wishes at their command, then they are going to be sorely disappointed. Anyone can see that Mr. Thompson has his hands full with making this company, HIS COMPANY, a successful, viable, sustainable company. He is doing that. As I've stated before, he's slow-walking things now. A methodical approach because the "game has slowed down" for him. He can make all the reads knowing he can direct things where he wants them to go. He can call audibles as he's required to. It's all in front of him now as opposed to the early days of the company where he was still trying to figure out how to make his product right.
And the product isn't simple widgets, either. Something he can throw out on the market and wing it once he gets customer feedback. No. This is a product which REQUIRES a level of correctness and assuredness in every box on the product checklist before it can be mass produced. We should be thankful we are here where we are right now with this company because the "kinks" have been worked out for the most part. Thus the reason we are even talking about things from an international scope. And I guarantee you there will be future "kinks" in the chain as the company continues to grow.
But, I'd rather be on board with a CEO who has been there from the start making his mistakes and learning from them to the point he can now read and react to what comes up before him than the continued, bumbling buffoon who could care less whether he learns from his mistakes or not. The stock is reflecting the maturity of OUR CEO. I'm thankful to him for sticking with things and not giving up even though his every step was out there in the public eye. Even if that public eye is relegated to a few stock message board posts for the most part.
KBLB is the Holy Grail to a lot of us. Wait until the rest of the world knows it, too. Mr. T knows. He may have started out slow and clumsy, but, we all have. Some of us mature and become successful in our own right.
At this point, I'm all in on Mr. T. IMO, he knows what he's doing NOW more than any other time in the history of KBLB. Can't wait to see the positive results!
GLTA! Holding the Golden!!!
BOOM!!! Drop the Mic!!!
Thanks so much, Yankee! Your insight is invaluable.
No offense, Mojo, but I prefer to wait and see what our CEO's plans are once they've been revealed on this rather than second-guess his decisions prior to info being released.
Plus, I just told you, he's slow-walking things at this point for a reason. I trust our CEO is being deliberate in his actions based on reasons he believes will make the stock "pop" when he knows it should. Let me refer back to "slow-walking" things. I'm pretty sure at this point in the game he understands what momentum he wants to create and when he wants to create it. Once again, "slow-walking" things. And, as CEO and Chairman of the Board/THE BOARD, and all the other things you discredit/dislike about him, it is ultimately up to him. Whether we like it or not.
Timing is everything. And Mr. T knows that. IMO, he's finally feeling confident he can direct things where he wants them to go. It is my sincere belief at a certain point in time you will see his vision, too. In the meantime, relax. Enjoy the ride. You already got your 10 cents and then some! You should be ecstatic.
As always....GLTA!!!
Holding the Golden!!!
Perfectly sums it up, Chomp!
