Okay, maybe so. But who then stood to benefit by dagame (besides the Tier-0s you identify)? I've always felt loch was just one piece of a MUCH bigger jigsaw puzzle. Lotsa skulls & bones.
But maybe I'm just imagining hearing skeletons rattling in the closet.
And where does organized crime fit into that color coding? Or was it just a cowinkydink that tommy's good friend nigel had those "connections"?
It does get intricate, unraveling all the threads. Too bad they aren't color-coded to make it easier.
Another "who" ...
Who was the former FBI guy who was involved back in the early days? When Blair (and Poteet?) decided the esteemed and soon to become renowned Dr Blair could work better directly with Loch? Someone will remember that story. Something about Lidar?
"You're DD brings up concerns that go well beyond this company. My own thoughts are too outrageous to post."
Why does that remind me of blkhoc? He was told he really didn't want to go there when he asked some friends to look into things.
If any of this has substance (and I have no idea if it does) then it really is biggernabreadbasket.
Next look into SMU ... ?
It's that silly rabbit hole ... and those magic mushrooms ... and look over there! A caterpillar smoking a hookah!
[edited] yup ... BEAUCOUP LOLs!
[edit] That means a whole bunch o' them, xenoski.
?!?!?
rotten ... do you have notes you might have taken at the time about "that" phone call w/ mikel? Same question about your call w/ Kamber.
see my preceding post, rotten ...
I don't know, crow ...
bipolars do just that.
My thinking, though, is he outsmarted himself in that phone call, thought he was talking to an amateur (kinda like when tommy chatted with beanie), and then later (in a recent post) tried to make it sound as if he was trolling with cookies and got the fish he wanted (with rotten's help) -- as if he's planned the entire performance all along.
As you said, a devious one, our veryowncapnofdabigwowmikel.
Here, memorize this:
"Frere jacques, frere jacques, dormez-vous? dormez vous?"
When you have that down pat we'll progress to the next lecon.
whyd'ja change the name?
(you need some serious help with your french, sir)
well, sure glad you found a place for me ... wasn't quite what I had in mind, but it's a start. Just make sure I have ample time to learn the script. Rehearsals would be helpful, too. (It will be scripted, non? I'm not too good at improv unless there are some really good sfx)
radio? did you say radio?
I get to do the VO.
It's those grits ... they'll do it to you every time!
you're being very polite, crow!
CAPTAIN, you are a devious fellow.
diddy ... capnmikelofdabiggwowwow has a real flair for keeping certain people out of the line of (his) fire. Started with the esteemed "Dr" Blair, with whom he broke bread at Spie 2000 or whenever. Prolly continued right through his statement to the authorities. And discuss them on here? No way jose. Answer questions put directly to him? Mas no way jose.
Very odd. You'd think someone so skilled in research was actually looking for answers.
mixing your metaphors there, xeno ...
but thaz okay.
Where o where has moonieman gone? It's been ever so long since he's posted.
I miss his keen insight and wicked wit.
diddy ... would think he might like to come over here where we all could chat in real time.
Andy's sense of humor masks a deadly anger ... wasn't it capndamajorgood who rather foolishly decided to attack Andy's wife? Or have I got him confused with someone else?
[edit below] Could I buy insurance for my voice through that Fresno outfit? (Where is Fresno, anyways - tm nasfanium?) That would be more useful than long-term care, assuming rates are competitive.
[edit] -- or at the very least someone in that outfit might be able to refer me to a consultant or something -- someone who could continue training me AND provide coverage for my voice?
OT and ps xenophonicsman ... back to your kind offer to assist me in finding gainful and meaningful employment (other than scraping cod):
My command of the language is (contrary to what you might think) pretty good. My accent is a mix ... can pretty much adapt it to the occasion. A musical ear, I'm told.
Are you in a position to provide a contact and referral for an occasionally lucrative hobby of mine -- doing voice overs, preferably not for ads? I know your interests extend far and wide. It's a long shot, I know, but thought perhaps you could be helpful.
TIA.
Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh ...
I knew you were a softie at heart.
yawn
also, capnmikel ...
have you had a chance to ask cotton about team loch yet?
capnmikeldagood (this tm is MINE all MINE, xenophonics) ... what do you make of this latest late-filing news? Did YOU expect them to file on time?
I particularly liked this, mikel:
One team, Loch Harris Cold Water of the USA, faltered on the kayak leg, capsizing a boat in the strong currents, while one of the team members was also ill — making for an arduous journey up the river and bring on a yet-to-be-determined penalty from the jury.
Irony at its very best!
But to answer your pregunta: perhaps you could probe the memory banks of cottoncandy for more insight. You are, after all, friends and neighbors, aren't you?
ot -- Xenophonski:
Your pompous arrogance is something up with which I will not put.
It has been my experience that those who agonize over English language construction and use many words when few would do are either not very bright or refuse to admit that English is their second language, they having been born in another country or raised by a family that was first generation. Often both.
Sometimes they have pulled themselves up by their very own bootstraps and thereby escaped the inevitable future that lay ahead. More frequently, they became schoolyard bullies who, having been teased unmercifully for their small stature and accent, used fisticuffs to retaliate and hence a neighborhood tuff was born.
Occasionally such a potential drain on society might be taken under the wing of a sponsor ("save a child") and given a chance at changing his destiny.
It would take an indepth personal interview to determine which category you fall into (into which category you fall, if you prefer).
That said, I appreciate your kind offer to serve as an employment reference. It would be very helpful to me if you would provide a brief summary of your credentials so that I might determine if a glowing referral from you would be worth the paper it is written on (on which it is written, if you prefer).
Awaiting your reply, at your earliest convenience.
Regards.
'nite, luv
'sweetypie' is unacceptable, too, for the above reasons.
Hairdressing !!!
And don't call me 'hon' ... untoward familiarity that would be. I'm absolutely certain that violates viking's board rules (in addition to being off topic).
[edit below] "Mikel"? You're calling him "Mikel"?
And who coined that variation on a name for capndagoodwow?
I'll be having my lawyer call your lawyer tomorrow. (Better not try to represent yourself ... you know what they say.)
[edit] I don't remember a bike race but I do remember a canoeing event or something that Loch was sponsoring. Cottoncandy seemed to know a lot about it.
btw ...
Has anyone spotted a U-Haul on I-40 westbound?
Shoulda known better than to mess mit vous.
But it seems to me you come verrrrrrry close to tm/patent/copyright infringement.
Maybe you and ~kidd can make a deal.
I thought YOU coined inonit!
I think that tm properly belongs to ~kidd, diddy ...
~out to do stuff
I keep track of those things.
"Not too smart falling in love with a sub-penny Scamco."
I suspect the driver of his "love" was something more tangible than simple emotional attachment.
