--It's been Deal Time since 2018 and Lebby has em all throughout the entire Industry food chain you can bank on it!
--If it wasn't for the Shorts the stock is really $20.00.
Why does Wall St. pretend our stock is trading around $11.70 when we have booked so many financial contracts (worth Millions of Dollars?) and according to the unchallenged expert it is really $20? Who is to blame for this total injustice costing us the millions of profit we are due? Must be the Pumpkins fault or all of those new fake newbies wanting to learn about and buy the stock. just sayin

GAMES WILL BE PLAYED, BUT BY WHOM?
X Make no mistake about it a takeover play will happen.
Respectfully, why didn't Microsoft, Tesla, Facebook, Amazon, Twitter, and hundreds of multi-billion dollar companies that were started by much less renown people, in industries that they were going against dominating super corporations get bought out? They were not because they were not stupid enough to give away the Golden Goose for seeds. Why is it the the richest person in the world couldn't force the Board of Directors of Twitter to sell out?
On one hand we praise the LWLG CEO, and BOD's for there brilliance and on the other hand they would be costing their long-term shareholders billions or over enough time trillions of dollars of profit. I don't understand why you can't see us standing on our own, if you know how smart they are, and how the BOD's each have so much of the experience to take an upstart company, to a dominating World Changing Super Corporation?
If I owned more than a million shares of this company, shoot I own less than 20% of that, I would NEVER hope to see the share-price go lower so I could buy additionally insignificant % amount of more shares. I want to throw up when it drops down, and I lose more than $150k if it drops a buck. I want to pay more per share, and go all in, when the NEWS we have been waiting 2 decades for is announced, because even if you pay $20 a share, it will be the steal of the century. Even if I never buy another share and the GOO is Through I shall never want for money.
Just sayin, who is really playing games, and if you say it is the shorts that do shorting on EVERY stock that trades, that is an interesting diversion. I believe you own mega-shares of LWLG, but honestly wonder why you would ever want it to go lower, or have us bought out, and cost us unlimited profit, that would be generational for all of us shareholders? Why don't you think that Dr. L. and the BOD's can't run a real commercial company?
So you technicians think this runs true, because of traditional patterns, even for developmental stock companies, that have yet to get their first single dollar DEAL!!!!!!!!?
That's fantastic, I guess we don't even need any news from Dr. L. about new partners. These charts predict the future so well, if only they worked for the Power Ball. The stock market must be like an ATM for those expert in charts.
-Those things matter.-
The only thing that matters, for true longs that want to see this make history, is in the T 1's labs. Once/if they see the ubiquitous value of the GOO/Perk, then for the first time in 20 years, we will cut an actual financial DEAL!!!!!!!!! and they will all be at our door. Only a fool would give up the Golden Goose for potential pennies on the Dollar.
True Gates and the boys in the garage, never were able to stop IBM from buying them out, and that Musk dude had no choice but selling out to GM, and that Zuckerberg kid had no chance to keep that for his own, and only sold out for 50 million...., and...., and..... all those others.
Sure hope it is not the same kind of signal that Martha Stewart, Michael Milken, and Jeff Skilling were sending, lol.
It's probably the opposite if you think about it. If he knew there was soon to be a DEAL!!!!!!! I would not think he could buy even 1 share of stock. Everyone reads the tea leaves and thinks that this man who has never given 1 single slip about signing a financial contract, would be sending a secret signal to buy. If indeed this was a SEC permissible buy move with an imminent deal announcement, he would be buying 100's of thousands of shares, and selling all of his toy and glasses collections on Ebay. This must be some technical move needed for some reason we don't know. X and others here that are best friends with Dr. L. please call the office and find out for the shareholders that have spent millions of dollars to support the company for close to 2 decades, why the CEO only bought 1,000 shares? My nephew who makes money shoveling snow, and washing cars bought 5,000 shares recently with his hard earned money. It's interesting that some with allegedly more than a million shares just now have the confidence in the company to buy some more shares, because of a thousand share purchase. Games will be played.
Boomer don't you understand according to the ones that can't be questioned is, the only reason that the stock ever goes down is because of the SHORTS. And whenever it goes up, it is because it is DEAL TIME!!!!!!!!, and we have had those financial deals for the last 10 years. It's just because we have the most secret NDA in history since the Manhattan Project, and not a peep is permitted to be reported about any relationships even being worked on that may bring us MONEY.
You asked a fair question that many here have been thinking about, but were afraid to ask as the GOO[Perk police attack anything not in sycophantic step with the cult, about when will there finally be 1 single contract????
When I wake up every day, I turn on the computer, and I look for LWLG news of a first agreement of any kind, knowing my world would change financially upward to infinity and beyond. I as many here let a lot more than a million bucks in paper value go away by not selling more shares, at the high teens. But after owning this for more than 16 years, I want to see this be accepted as the future of everything (ubiquitous) with chips. If I bought this and within a year or so it went up by 8-10 times I probably would have sold more than the few thousands I did. I also bought into the daily hype here that we were days away from the "NEWS" and I know when it comes this will easily go to $50.
The fair question you asked is basically, after 2 decades of the experts peeing on the idea of Photonics, it has been pretty much universally accepted as the key to Moore's Law, and with all of the tremendous accomplishments done by our peeps in the Lab, we think (have we?) that all of the steps have been completed. We are the solution to some of the greatest needs for the future of all technology; Faster Chips using Fewer Energies. So what is the reason that like the proverbial--IF YOU BUILD IT, THEY WILL COME-- we can't get a single commitment to making the first chip? It is an honest question all that are not agenda driven manipulators are asking.
Why is it when the stock doesn't fly high it is purely the shorts manipulating the s-p? But when we gain increase of s-p it's because of the science of the GOO/Perk? I would say that those that believe in the material have already bought all in completely, other than those that already have more than a million shares hoping the s-p goes lower so they can buy a few thousand more.
Until there is major news from the Lab, saying every step has been completed, or even better yet, we have our first MONEY DEAL!!!!!!!! those that will throw in more money to buy shares, seem to be waiting on the sidelines, as they have seen more than 20 years of, connecting the dots, w/o a final picture drawn. Vein knows that we need to see that news to get thousands of new investors to convert their cash to LWLG stock.
Ubiquitous= Yes to anyone using computer chips. But until we get an order, only the insiders know and unfortunately they are not talking, or any leaks from within.
Nice find!
CEA, Soitec, GlobalFoundries and STMicroelectronics have announced a new collaboration in which they intend to jointly define the industry's next generation roadmap for FD-SOI (fully depleted silicon-on-insulator) technology.
So may we assume they had a NDA in place? Yes.
Did they just announce it is a collaboration without there being financial contract? Yes.
OK so why if we have done so many DEALS!!!! even if they were just collaborations can't they publicly announce it? Just give us some nugget so we don't have to connect dots etc. would be respectful to us long-long-long time shareholders.
If there was a single dollar sold to any customer they are required to show that on quarterly reports. So finally we will see all of the financial DEALS!!!!! we have been told about. I thought there would have to be some sort of announcement about them, but if not we will see them in the SEC required reports. Once we see these sales the shorts will pay, as we have been told our s-p is 100% purely a short manipulation.
Just curious how anyone with more than a MILLION shares of stock, continues to want the s-p to go lower? How many shares could you buy that would make a difference to the bottom line? I have a little less than 200k, and I personally want to throw up whenever it drops a Dollar. If I owned that many shares I would never want it to go down, because when the news comes out, those shares will be worth at least $50,000,000+. Is it the ultimate greed or just some games being played? In all honesty, how many true longs with at least 50k-100k shares want the share-price to go lower? I could see Newbies, but someone that has owned it for more than 20 years at a cost of less than a dollar.
Good job th. I am absolutely sure that these shorts don't have any real strategies and probably will be reading these social media message boards to figure out what to do. Keep scaring them into buying the shares back, as you have helped to get the share-price up over $10.00!
Very risky with a company on its way up, News could pop at any time. In the past they could count on LPC to cover but with Lightwave having a couple of years cash on hand and no debt they have to get shares another way.
X I Kinda feel sorry for the followers, he gets in gets his then they are left holding bag.
I agree these charts are irrelevant for a zero income company on the brink of explosive growth. Can't the same be true about shorts? Every stock has them and Charts, Shorts, or nothing else matters, other than what happens in the T 1's labs, proving we have the ultimate solution with 3x's and 1/2. All shorts get burned on super positive news, while they make big money when s-p blows up on rumor, and fake news, but loses steam when there is no follow-up.
Chart and short talk is just wasted talk. Finally hopefully soon, after 20+ years, any $ contract news from Dr. L. and it will be, who cares about either of them?
SS thanks for the article.
To foster in a new generation of high-speed communication, the main challenge is with the steps to transform electronic signals into optical signals rapidly. One company has recently made significant progress in this field.
The company is Lightwave Logic and it develops electro-optic polymers allowing more data to be transmitted at significantly higher speeds and with less power than existing solutions. Such technology is key to future developments within the digital data arena.
When does Significant Progress become -Finalized the Science, and Key To the Future, become the current State of the Art? Not being negative, but to those that actually understand the Science, are there still any steps needed to be solved in the Labs to get us M-O-N-E-Y? If so, what are they, or can we finally say, light the rocket, the GOO is Through (still sounds better than the Perk is no Jerk)?
The market does what the market does. I can't believe that some think that the s-p is purely a manipulation of the shorts, and not supply/demand. I think the daily short concerns, are less important, than people buying or selling the most amount of shares, as it is with every stock there is. The longer we go without any significant financial contracts, the stock will probably have the recent range. The good thing about shorts is if/when we get the first financial contract, they will make the s-p go up even faster than normal.
Why would any true long after 20 years root for the share-price to go down? No games being played, unless you are short.
Abso-f-ing-lutely. There could be many settlements at this ASM.
True if all of the Phil H, loyal follower Newbies do any due diligence about the financial state of the company read this and see it is in good shape, and decide to buy shares, would be of no value. You really hit that on the head,
I really didn't think it was a hit piece, but pretty spot on factual, about the current financial state. I agree on let's hit new high's--which would be above $20.00. Dancing about every incremental $1.00 gain, until we get where we were (our previous on paper gains) is over zealous. Of course the only reason we fell down 70% was only because of the SHORTS, not lack of financial agreements.
So, Should We Worry About Lightwave Logic's Cash Burn?
Even though its increasing cash burn makes us a little nervous, we are compelled to mention that we thought Lightwave Logic's cash burn relative to its market cap was relatively promising. Based on the factors mentioned in this article, we think its cash burn situation warrants some attention from shareholders, but we don't think they should be worried.
We Think Lightwave Logic (NASDAQ:LWLG) Can Afford To Drive Business Growth
Simply Wall St
Tue, March 29, 2022, 8:31 PM
In this article:
LWLG
-0.37%
Just because a business does not make any money, does not mean that the stock will go down. Indeed, Lightwave Logic (NASDAQ:LWLG) stock is up 568% in the last year, providing strong gains for shareholders. But while the successes are well known, investors should not ignore the very many unprofitable companies that simply burn through all their cash and collapse.
In light of its strong share price run, we think now is a good time to investigate how risky Lightwave Logic's cash burn is. For the purposes of this article, cash burn is the annual rate at which an unprofitable company spends cash to fund its growth; its negative free cash flow. First, we'll determine its cash runway by comparing its cash burn with its cash reserves.
Check out our latest analysis for Lightwave Logic
How Long Is Lightwave Logic's Cash Runway?
A company's cash runway is the amount of time it would take to burn through its cash reserves at its current cash burn rate. In December 2021, Lightwave Logic had US$23m in cash, and was debt-free. Importantly, its cash burn was US$11m over the trailing twelve months. Therefore, from December 2021 it had 2.1 years of cash runway. Arguably, that's a prudent and sensible length of runway to have. The image below shows how its cash balance has been changing over the last few years.
debt-equity-history-analysis
debt-equity-history-analysis
How Is Lightwave Logic's Cash Burn Changing Over Time?
Lightwave Logic didn't record any revenue over the last year, indicating that it's an early stage company still developing its business. So while we can't look to sales to understand growth, we can look at how the cash burn is changing to understand how expenditure is trending over time. The skyrocketing cash burn up 119% year on year certainly tests our nerves. That sort of spending growth rate can't continue for very long before it causes balance sheet weakness, generally speaking. Admittedly, we're a bit cautious of Lightwave Logic due to its lack of significant operating revenues. We prefer most of the stocks on this list of stocks that analysts expect to grow.
Can Lightwave Logic Raise More Cash Easily?
Given its cash burn trajectory, Lightwave Logic shareholders may wish to consider how easily it could raise more cash, despite its solid cash runway. Companies can raise capital through either debt or equity. Commonly, a business will sell new shares in itself to raise cash and drive growth. By looking at a company's cash burn relative to its market capitalisation, we gain insight on how much shareholders would be diluted if the company needed to raise enough cash to cover another year's cash burn.
Lightwave Logic has a market capitalisation of US$1.1b and burnt through US$11m last year, which is 1.0% of the company's market value. That means it could easily issue a few shares to fund more growth, and might well be in a position to borrow cheaply.
So, Should We Worry About Lightwave Logic's Cash Burn?
Even though its increasing cash burn makes us a little nervous, we are compelled to mention that we thought Lightwave Logic's cash burn relative to its market cap was relatively promising. Based on the factors mentioned in this article, we think its cash burn situation warrants some attention from shareholders, but we don't think they should be worried.
goosie says--Let people have their opinion (I mean this in general, on both sides)
What is the synonym of hypocrisy?
Synonyms. insincerity. Too many superlatives lend a note of insincerity. pretence. struggling to keep up the pretence that all was well.
So my criticism is under attack, but everyone else's is ok? That is another sign of being in a cult.
Shorts, blah, blah, blah. Unless you have an agenda or are a trader, and not a long-term GOO-Perk believer, this discussion is just another diversion from, where are the signed DEALS!!!!? The only thing that matters is what is below. You with 10 daily short comments are blaming shorts for the stock not being higher, and to some very small extent it may be, but you know very clearly that EVERY single stock gets shorted. This is no Putin KGB conspiracy that is only happening to LWLG, it is as normal as market makers manipulating low volume stock's prices. It seems like games will be played, just some are to cultish to realize it
Also, if some ground-breaking news hits
I am not an anti-technical chartist, but this is the ONLY THING THAT MATTERS with LWLG; Also, if some ground-breaking news hits
RSPT each call/put is equal to 100 shares so you multiply times 100. 10 calls of those Sept 20's @ $1.40=$1,400. SO if the stock closed at todays price of $10.71 (nice day!) you are paying $00.71 of premium. Now you have until the third Friday in Sept. (9-1-22) to convert 10 calls into 1,000 shares at $20.00, or $20,000 + Com's. If the stock (please Dr. L. get us a real DEAL!!) goes to $50.00 you still only pay $20k, and own the stock for as long as you wish. If the stock would close under $20, and you never sold it, the Call would be worthless, and you've lost all of the $1,400.
The farther out of the current s-p (strike price) when you buy a Call the less you pay for it, conversely for how far time-wise you are out from expiration, the more you pay.
When the stock was about $5.60 (mid-ish Nov. '21) I sold just a couple of thousand shares for almost $11k, and bought 20 June '22 $10 Calls (equal to my 2k shares) for $3.40= $6,800. Now at that time I had 6 months for the stock to go higher than $10, which after previously hitting $20 seemed like a good bet. If the Calls were never sold, and the s-p never was higher than $10 they will expire worthless. I still would have netted a positive $4,200 less my $1,14 average cost per share. If we go by then to the moon say to $50 these calls at the least will be $40 or $40,000. Since 4 months have passed, even though the s-p has almost doubled, the Call today closed at $2.40. So these options are like ticking timebombs, and rarely you want to wait till the expiration date, unless things are moving your way (ie if you bought Put= lower s-p).
This is a way to take some money off the table, but all things being good, you still have the power to the same amount of shares.
If you have beaucoup shares and would be happy to sell many of them at the same $20.00, you can write/sell those same options against your shares. If you wrote 10,000 of them (1,000 calls at $1.40) you will have brought in $14,000. If the s-p never reaches $20 that is your to keep, and you still own those 10k shares. If the stock goes to $25.00 and they exercise them (trade for your stock) you would probably be happy that the stock is that high, and you would have sold the stock for $200,000, plus the $14,000, you got paid for the Calls, for a total of $214,000, when at the time your 10k shares were worth about $107,100. How many would not be happy with that equation?
No time to check figures as I'm headed out.
Senate approves the $52,000,000,000.00 CHIPS Bill. Thanks Joe for making America smart again.
Are you saying for the first time it will be DEAL TIME!!!!!!!!!!?
The only other competition for natural Graphite is China, and Musk is no dummy. Plus for some reason when they talk about the ingredients for the EV batteries, they rarely mention Graphite. That's why I can't imagine he or Cuban, or, Gelsinger etc. aren't buying LWLG up on the cheap open market. They all must know we are the Moore's Law answer.
I have been following many Rare Earth companies, even some that recycle old batteries like AREC, as eventually these will either be mined out, or as they are mostly controlled by China, not available. Although not a natural mineral, the GOO/Perk is really like a Rare Earth one, as it will be essential for any and all leading technology for the short to long future. I really hope we get an order this week, and celebrate the riches, and no longer need to be connecting the dots. What else could the T1's need that is still missing?
This is an interesting subject, in terms of some of the newest investing concepts. We think of the whole end product, like say a Tesla. The whole investing community knows about them and in most cases has built in premium in the share-price. But where there is greater value, like with LWLG, not building the computer chip, but making it faster/greener/cheaper, is in the components.
So when Elon Musk recently made news talking about buying all the material he can get from an Australian graphite company (SYAAF) that is a key ingredient of the EV battery, it shows the whole isn't as valuable if some of the parts, are not available. This is how the GOO/Perk will be ubiquitous in everything that uses a computer chip.
Because EVERY STOCK IS SHORTED, and they don't make excuses for the share price 45 times a day, that it is the only reason the stock isn't 2-4x's higher. This stock is not unbelievably higher shorted than 100's of other stocks. just sayin
x answer for all of us that follow your 10 multi-daily report on shorts, how much would the s-p be if there were zero shorts?? $50? $200? We know you are obsessed that the shorts are keeping the s-p down compared to every single stock that are also shorted.
Where would the share-price be in your opinion if there were zero shorts?
"I am putting 1 + 1 together. I have seen so many pretend to be long term holders when short shares increase and the buzz here tells me to trust no one, no one new"
For all you Newbies especially the ones that Phil H has brought to us, as shown above, from a member of the cult that you are not wanted here if you have any questions that are not 100% in line with the "experts" here. If not a up and down head, bobblehead doll--GO AWAY, they don't want you here. Forget your interest in investing, unless they approve you.
If responding to my post;
What is the actual meaning of sarcastic?
Sarcasm refers to the use of words that mean the opposite of what you really want to say, especially in order to insult someone, or to show irritation, or just to be funny. For example, saying "they're really on top of things" to describe a group of people who are very disorganized is using sarcasm.
If it was me, I guess you believe that Newbies need to be so respectful of other older posters to be accepted on this m-b to earn "CRED"
"New/infrequent posters. Understand you're taken with skepticism/grain of salt, regardless of leanings. It's just how it is. Board credibility is the only barometer here.
Some have years and 1000's of posts, that speak of their demeaner and intentions. (Board cred)
If I was new here, I'd state my intentions and then speak my mind, and learn."
Don't they know it's only for people that have been true longtime sycophant's? It must be some big conspiracy of the shorts, otherwise this stock would be $40, right?
Shorters, Hypers, Haters, Institutional Buying or not, none of it matters until we get our first financial DEAL!!!!!!!!!. The stock was $20 and now it's less than 1/2 of that. The only thing that matters is what is proven in the T1's labs. If we took out all of the short and institution talk, this would be the great M-B that it originally was, when we had to flee from Yahoo. I know this is important in the lives of many posters here that they can make virtual friends in their lives, but if some of these questioning things are actually real potential investors, and others are just reading to learn, they would have to question things. If this was just the science and things that Dr. L. says that are relevant to actual sales, it would help others to become new and larger share-holders, which in the long-run is a good this for us real share-holders. Thank goodness some here learned that there was absolute zero value in copy and pasting old antiquated info. The GOOD x doing his periodical LWLG for Dummies is the best way to recap the advances towards marketing, Just sayin
Your comment is an oxymoron
Ok thanks. And of course you are The One and Only Billy Shears.
