It seems to me that we have to be patient at this point. From what Paul says, an acquisition at some point in the future is a real possibility. Who knows where that would take the pps, but I would expect a lot higher than where we are now.
Paul has stated a number of times that this stock is a medium to long-term hold, and to me it makes sense to give it some time. From what was said in this most recent email, we are still in the foundation building process.
Reply from Paul Strickland to an email I sent to Spooz.
My question:
In recent weeks you have provided a lot of information about goals and plans which sound very interesting and exciting. You sound as if your hopes are very high.
There is a big difference between setting a goal and achieving it. Can you give us any sense of realistically where Spooz is in relation to the goals that have been outlined? From your perspective, without giving any inside information, can you provide any indication of the progress that has been made so far?
I won't post any reply on public boards without your express consent.
Thanks so much.
Sincerely,

Paul Strickland's Reply:
During the fourth quarter this year we will be engaged to accomplish a number of significant milestones:
We will launch Fractalz on October 16 so we are very busy with final testing implementation of marketing and sales for this product. We are focused on exceeding projected sales of 350 subscriptions before the end of 2006.
We are also in the process of developing a trading plan for Fractalz to be implemented soon. All of the registrations and financing are in place to begin trading operations within 30 days of product launch.
We are in negotiations with Ameritrade and optionsXpress regarding joint marketing (and the funding participation) for SpoozToolz v 2.0 to be launched in January.
We are in the process of ramping up an IR campaign designed at increasing institutional investor awareness.
The Adler Group is preparing our books for a certified audit in January to be followed by filing with the SEC to become a fully reporting OTC:BB company as quickly as the process can be completed.
In short, the milestones for Q4 are critical to the long-term prospects for Spooz. We have a handle on all of the Q4 milestones and in some cases are well ahead of schedule.
I believe that our shareholders should look out 18 months for a public exit. In 2007 our emphasis will center on revenue growth and the development of complementary products to the SpoozToolz platform. Since we have already experienced overtures from significant organizations, we believe we will be a bonefide acquisition target by this time next year.
I hope this answers most of your questions. I have no objection to your publishing this communication, but I would ask that you submit your questions to our blog at www.SpoozNewz.blogspot.com in the future.
Have a great weekend.

This is what Paul posted on the SpoozNewz blog today:
"To date, I have sold 400,000 shares [out of approximately 2.6 million] with the lowest price being .015. The reason I have not sold more is because I don't like the price and I refuse to put selling pressure on SPZI at current volume levels"
2 new posts on SpoozNewz (In addition to the one earlier today):
Response to iranianrichedfuel
Since I have been out of the loop for 2 weeks, I have chosen to respond to certain individuals with respect to their questions and posts collectively. In order of their posting:
I would like to recommend a book to you. This book is titled The Predictors by Thomas A. Bass. It is the story of a group of scientists and mathematicians who developed Chaos Theory for the financial markets beginning in August 1991 in Santa Fe, New Mexico. In this book it states that Chaos Theory is 10,000 times more accurate than any other form of mathematical prediction ever applied to the markets. Further, the book goes on to state that chaos theory, "when applied to market data the new technology produces substantial returns and there is less than a one in ten thousand chance that the models are wrong."
The rule of thumb is that, in a vacuum, market cap should equal 5 x gross sales. This means that company growth rates, new products, management, growth rates of target markets, etc. Are not considered in this formula, therefore; 5 x $7,000,000 is a $30,000,000 market cap.
I believe Spooz pricing to be disruptive. For $89 a month, SpoozToolz will provide the customer with more power than ever before and at a price far less than that customer would pay a competitor for less functionally. In addition, we are developing modules that may, or may not, appeal to segmented market groups. As an example, one of the modules being developed currently is an allocation module. This module provides the user with the ability to route orders to different brokers and to different accounts. The module is designed for brokers, hedge funds, etc. It is likely, since competitive products are priced at thousands of dollars per month, that we may price the module at $500 - 750 per month. Lastly, we view pricing as an extremely complex process that requires significant research and an intimate knowledge of the market. While we do not have all the answers, we believe that our published pricing has taken into account adjustment strategies that may need to be eventually employed.
I have filed the proper paperwork that will allow me to sell approximately 2.6 million shares of Spooz stock. Because this has become somewhat of an issue, I would like to address it here, perhaps for the last time. To date, I have sold 400,000 shares with the lowest price being .015. The reason I have not sold more is because I don't like the price and I refuse to put selling pressure on SPZI at current volume levels. When the time is right, I will sell more, but the sales have nothing whatsoever to do with the prospects for the company, instead, they are of more of a personal nature. To date, no other insider has any intention of selling at these prices. It is likely that it will be Q4 2007 before any more restricted stock is sold.
We chose Equititrend for a number of reasons without respect to their physical location, but they are not the only IR firm that Spooz works with. While Equititrend specializes in retail investments, we have other IR firms that play different roles. We work with The Investor Relations Company, a prestegious IR firm located on Michigan Avenue, several blocks from our offices. We work with Scanlon Corporate communications who specializes in technology and the media. There are others. The point is that our IR campaign has barely begun and the infrastructure is being built to propel Spooz much further, especially in terms of institutional participation. When execution of our plan is in full swing, we should generate enough momentum to move everyone out of the way. Please don't ask for specifics or timing because I can not divulge this information to you.

London Stock Exchange Launches Exchange Traded Commodities Market Segment
The London Stock Exchange today announced that it will launch a new market segment for Exchange Traded Commodities. The market segment, the first of its kind in the world, will contain 32 exchange traded commodities and commodity indices, including 29 issued tomorrow by ETF Securities Ltd. Following the success of the existing oil and gold securities, which have recently attracted record trading levels, the new commodities segment will enable investors to buy and trade commodities like shares, without the need to access the futures market.

Thanks for the post. Has Spooz had any marketing or advertising campaigns to date? I don't recall anyone mentioning any Spooz ads of any kind. I certainly haven't seen any. Lets hope the upcoming campaign combined with the product release will get things moving.
BTW, Wing ... thanks for clueing me in on the 411 share trades. I'll know it's you next time :)
What's with this double 411 share trades? That's the third time I've seen that recently.
I think most people who have followed Spooz and believe in its potential have probably bought about as many shares as they are going to for now (I know I have), thinking that a pps rise would be starting in September.
We are sitting and waiting for more people to get interested. The PRs so far this month have been setting the stage for what we hope is the real action coming in the future, but imo, in and of themselves, don't provide the meat that would attract many new investors.
The recent Stock Report states that no. of shareholders as of June 6, 2006 is 1,217.
http://www.spooz.com/pdf/SPZIreport_080406.pdf
The executive summary states "Spooz intends to complete a certified audit in Q1 2007" (p.6)
Lots of interesting information in the new executive summary:
http://www.spooz.com/pdf/ExSumV4September14,2006.pdf
On p. 6, Spooz management believes that they will become a target for acquisition by the end of 2007.
This thing is bouncing all over the place today.
According to the first PR yesterday, Erik Long is "Director of Strategic Technology for Spooz, Inc.", so yes, it looks like acquisition is a done deal, and Erik is part of the Spooz managment team now.
I think part of the problem with the sp is that the company is relatively unknown at the moment. I think there will be a big push now for publicity. Paul is making extensive public statements now, trying to get attention.
I wonder if being a pink sheet company is going to be an obstacle for investors. I hope not.
Not bad volume for the first 35 minutes (451,000)
Bid back up - .015 x 0.0155
Every once in a while I see posts which mention a target pps of $1.00 or more. I realize that is kind of a "magic number" - a price that every owner of a penny stock hopes for. I am just wondering how realistic a target this is.
The latest stock report on SPZI (http://www.spooz.com/pdf/SPZIreport_080406.pdf)mentions that 0.75 is a realistic goal.
From all the DD I have done, this seems like a stock that really could peform exceptionally well, and I have invested accordingly, but I am also trying to be realistic in my expectations.
Perhaps at this stage, with so much still unknown, this is not really a good question, but its one I have been thinking about. Any words of wisdom out there? tia
Tighter spread: .015 x .016
Thanks for posting! em
Spooz should work on a Blackberry since Excel can run on a Blackberry
Here is a link from Ameritrade's web site where various tools are listed. One of them is called "Advanced Analyzer" which costs $19.99 per month.
http://www.tdameritrade.com/tradingtools/overview.html
Is it possible, that if SpoozToolz is available through an online brokerage like Ameritrade, that it will be one of these fee-based add-on tools that will not come as part of the basic package for investors?
I use Fidelity and there is a program I have access to (which I don't use much) because I am a "frequent trader". SpoozToolz could possibly be available on such a basis.
Just conjecture.
I called and was told nothing really new. Larry said he remained "highly optimistic".
Got a postcard on Saturday telling me to call equititrend "immediately" for "important information". I haven't called yet, but plan to today.
Maybe buyers are used to cheap shares, and are hoping to get in below the current ask.
I had interesting experience the other day. I put a small buy order in at 0.012, except by mistake I submitted it as a sell. I was kicking myself. However it turned out that trade went through as a sell at 0.013. I was relieved and bought back the shares for the same price - I was only out the commission.
Not sure why it happened, but I didn't complain on that occasion.
All the last 3 PRs have come out on Tuesdays.
lol!
I think every trade has been at the ask today. I have a small order in, and in the past I have often been able to get it a bit below the ask - not today so far.
Yes.
FWIW, I just called the Transfer Agent and was told it would take about four weeks for me to recieve my restricted shares in the mail.
I don't think it will be like this forever. I'm waiting for the breezes to pick up.
JLT,
What would you say is the difference between SPZI and the many other penny stocks that have spiked and dropped way back again?
My hope is that this company's product and management are of a higher quality than most - and that there is a wide demand for the product.
Daytraders and swing traders that have bought at current levels are likely to take profits between 5 and 10 cents IMO. If the news is strong enough, I hope we will have new investors coming in to keep the price up.
Thanks for your input, americano. 2-4 years seems a reasonable amount of time to wait if we're rewarded with a good pps.
I have just been reading some of the posts from earlier in the year. I don't think many people thought we'd be back in the .01s now when we were hitting the .04s and 05s earlier in the year. I think you are right - the price is low because so much is unknown at the moment. I guess the longs believe that in time much that is good will be revealed.
Thanks, Wing and allie. From all the DD I have done, I feel pretty comfortable holding this for a while. Hoping a year from now we'll have a much stronger pps.
I am planning to add more shares while the price is low.
He also said that Spooz should be considered a medium to long term investment. What kind of timeframe do you think that means? 1-3 years? Longer?
Spread has shrunk. 0.0105 X 0.011
I don't think that Paul Stickland is the "bone tossing" type.
Here's an exerpt from the Notable Post for this board, which is a quote from an emal from him.
"In conclusion, let me add that it is our priority to drive shareholder value, not the price of our stock. All of our planning is geared toward driving the price of SPZI shares through the generation of revenues; not by providing the general public, our shareholders, or our competitors information in the form of press releases"
Finally a trade! At the ask this time. Yesterday I tried and tried to get shares below the ask - finally I gave up and bought at the ask which was .0135
From what I have read, for a long time the company has been trying to stay very quiet in order to stay under the competition's radar.
I think now they are trying to get some attention, but it may be harder to do so because of the lack of past publicity.
I hope the news that comes out is strong enough to get the attention we are looking for.
Quite a bit more volume today - even thought the pps lower. Is this a positive sign?
