When you first go to the site you should see a calm ocean view. Then when you hover over the "I am 21" area it changes to a breaking wave. The wave goes away after you click it to enter the website. Pretty cool.
Thanks for the link e7. The hemp legislation passing could be huge for GBS. As one of only two authorized cannabis lab nurseries in the state they could be the beneficiary of large hemp plantlet orders for acres of hemp in LA. I'll be following it closely.
Thanks for the heads up on the "revitalized" website Hunterdog. Really like the calm ocean photo on the opening page with the phrase "Are you old enough to ride the wave". When you roll over the "I am 21" choice it turns into a hollow breaking wave. Smart move to tap the surf culture market early. imho glta
Looks like they are announcing the changes on social media. Found this on twitter.

Cannabis on sale today. Feel like a kid in a candy store. glta
My main reason for buying GBS is for their proprietary tissue culture technology. Been watching GBS since their tissue culture breakthrough announcement in 2017. Now that they are finally producing cannabis planlets using tissue culture in their new facility in LA, I'll wet my toes.
Tissue culture labs will be needed to mass produce cannabis plantlets for growers in legalized states. If GBS can replicate what they have done in LA in cannabis friendly states, they can grab market share as a first mover. Tissue culture technology can be used to produce many different agricultural products. imho glta
Here's a video of tissue culture reproduction in action. GBS should be doing essentially the same thing with cannabis.

Looks like the cannabis vaping bill might pass in Louisiana. Hope so since its a high margin product with more appeal to inhalers than oral liquids and capsules. Took forever to get to this point, but maybe the payoff is coming soon. imho glta
Bill advanced that would allow patients to inhale cannabis for medicinal purposes
https://www.kalb.com/content/news/Bill-advanced-that-would-allow-patients-to-inhale-cannabis-for-medicinal-purposes-510301821.html
Sounds like a smart move to me. Like the CEO's vision for the future. Lots of red cannabis out there right now. imho glta
Like your strategy. For better or worse OTC stocks feed off news. NGW is overdue for a feeding. imho glta
Thanks for posting the Leigh Hughes interview. He really gets what makes NGW different than other small cap growers. He understands that NGW's award winning genetics coupled with Intrexon's ability to mass produce these genetics using tissue culture tech, will be the biggest revenue driver for the company.
Lots of companies produce generic dried flower strains, very few have proprietary cannabis cup winning strains, and even less are planning to mass produce using tissue culture tech. This is what attracted me to NGW, and why I have high hopes for their success.
Patiently waiting for the Intrexon lab to become operational, which should be near completion. They may need to use some of the new grow facility as a plantlet nursery while their full scale nursery is under construction. Hopefully they will be using the new quick up low cost state of the art light dep greenhouses for speed to market.
Would also like to see NGW more fully tap into the surfing culture market in California. Even the company name gives the image of green waves coming in from the Pacific. If NGW can become the California surfers go to brand it would be a huge market to tap. The acquisition of SDC has already given them credibility with biker and skateboarder consumers. Focused marketing will be key. imho glta
News-GTEC products are being added to Canna Farms medical cannabis website, the largest online platform for medical cannabis users in Canada.
The VP of Canna Farms said, "The success of the integrated store has allowed VIVO to partner with quality brands that cater to discerning medical cannabis patients."
This coming from one of most respected ultra-premium grow operations in Canada, is a major validation of GTEC's ultra-premium GreenTec brand flower.
Exposure on the new Canna Farms website will help establish GTEC as a player in the ultra-premium market. Not to mention the higher margin medical cannabis revenues it should produce.
GTEC isn't letting the grass grow under its feet. Recently acquired its first retail store, two new grow facilities completed, and now the Canna Farms supply partnership. Good job GTEC.
VIVO Adds New Craft Producer GTEC Holdings Inc. and Additional Pure Sun Farms Products to On-Line Medical Cannabis Platform

Future Farm still has time to pull one out of the hat, but it will have to be a big one. One that will generate substantial revenue in the near future.
News that the California lab is ready for cannabis plantlet production, or the Massachusetts partnership is finalized with license, could get some traction.
Anything hemp seed related will be ignored. imho glta
Canadian outdoor grower expects 25 cents cost per gram. Compared to $2 for indoor grow, and $1 for greenhouse grow. If CROP can produce the premium strains they announced at .25 per gram, Wow.
Unlike the Canadian growers CROP doesn't have to deal with the slow Health Canada approval process, and already has its outdoor cultivation licenses. CROP could also get in two harvests in a warmer climate, especially in southernmost Oklahoma. imho glta
Outdoor cannabis grower has deals but still waits for licence

To me GTEC is going after the same ultra-premium cannabis market as Flowr Corp. Flowr recently reported a increase in average selling price per gram of dried cannabis to $7.70 Canadian dollars.
GTEC's estimated annual output of 14,000 kilograms (14,000,000 grams) of ultra-premium flower would be approx $108,000,000 using Flowr's selling price for ultra-premium flower.
This would be dependent upon Health Canada licensing the four new facilities in 2019 to reach capacity. Fingers crossed on that, but hopeful with the new rules favoring completed facilities.
This is a interesting article on Flowr's ultra-premium business model, and why it should succeed. Must read for GTEC investors. imho glta

GTEC News-Grey Bruce Farms has completed its build-out and submitted its Affirmation of Readiness and Video Evidence Package to Health Canada.
https://www.globenewswire.com/news-release/2019/05/21/1833384/0/en/GTEC-Announces-Tumbleweed-Farms-Evidence-Package-Submission-to-Health-Canada-to-Confirm-Readiness-of-Cultivation-License.html
Now GTEC has two completed facilities waiting on Health Canada approval. Hopefully Health Canada will follow through on its promise to speed up the process for completed grow ready facilities like Grey Bruce & Tumbleweed Farms.
Also good to hear that GTEC is still on track to open two more facilities in 2019. If GTEC can reach their goal of 14,000 kilograms (14,000,000 grams) of ultra-premium flower capacity in 2019, then 2020 should be a banner year for the company. imho glta
Somewhat surprised that the national cannabis press outlets aren't reporting on CROP's new status as the largest outdoor cannabis farm in the US. If someone like Aurora had announced this they would be all over it. Large cap cannabis bias. Show them a harvest they can't ignore CROP. imho glta
Picked up few myself DBG. Buying at just about the low for the year. One meaningful PR, like a eye opening SDC revenue estimate, or major supply agreements for NGW/Intrexon planlets, could light this up again. It's been about a month since the last PR update so they are ripe for a PR pop. imho glta
My take is CROP spent 2018 mostly getting ready for 2019. Acquiring acreage, building greenhouses etc. There could be some amount of 2018 revenue shown on the next report, but mostly cash expenditures on the properties being readied for the 2019 harvests.
The capital raises in 2018 did increase the share count to its current level of 160M. This amount is within my own comfort zone, based on the potential return of the 2019 harvest.
It's a gamble with outdoor grow, but one I'm personally willing to take. Those that are concerned about outdoor grow complications (insects, weather, etc) should DD pure play indoor grow operations. CROP is one of few that has both. imho glta
GTEC could use a little good news from Health Canada.
Tumbleweed Farms submitted its Affirmation of Readiness and Video Evidence Package to Health Canada in early March. The Grey Bruce Farms evidence Package was submitted this week.
So GTEC now has two completely finished facilities waiting on Health Canada approval to grow. They also have two more facilities that will be completed in Q3 and Q4. GTEC is quickly completing facilities, but Health Canada is slowly giving approvals. Can't blame the company for that.
In the meantime I would like to see photo's & videos of the new facilities on twitter. Also some construction site photo's of the facilities currently being built. Investors like to see how their money is being spent.
Get moving Health Canada GTEC is ready. imho glta
Here are the premium strains CROP has chosen for their 40 acre THC grow in Nevada. These are well known premium strains sold online, in medical dispensaries & recreational cannabis stores. They can be processed into branded vape fluid, shatter, wax, dabs, hash, and infused into edibles. CROP has chosen well. imho glta
From CROP Press Release- The project will be completed in time for the 2019 outdoor planting which is forecast to yield in excess of 80,000 pounds. The following strains have been chosen for the project: Blueberry, 9 lb Hammer, Gelato, Tiffany CBD, Insane OG, Blue dream, Durban Poison and Purple Kush.

What if Crop does hit the numbers they are guiding. What if they do produce 110,000 pounds (50,000,000 grams) of 20% THC cannabis. Average wholesale price per gram for dried flower is around $5.00. Much more if its processed into concentrates. What if Crop brings in a $250,000,000 million THC harvest. What would the share price be then. Crop is going all in on outdoor grow this season, hope the weather deals them a good hand. imho glta
NGW is taking a nap today. Resting up getting ready for the next run:) The next one might not come down if the reason is good enough. Like the Intrexon lab is completed, and plantlet production has begun. That's the one I'm waiting for. Huge potential to supply Cali growers with award winning genetics. imho glta

For me investing in Crop is not that complicated. About as complicated as watching grass grow. After harvest you sell it, and report the revenues.
If the company continues to provide visual evidence, like today's Nevada seeding operation video, and future videos of crops growing in the field, then I'll keep adding the dips.
If the country has a biblical plague of locusts I'll switch to insect repellent stocks. Always have a Plan B. imho glta

Here's a informative article from today about the cloning/tissue culture market. The article says there is a bottleneck right now for young plants, and growers are complaining about the limited access to plants.
Seems like many more cloning labs are needed to keep up with demand. We'll know when the voting results are reported if Indoor Harvest can fund their proposed cannabis cloning operation. Hope so. imho glta
Starting young in the cannabis nursery game
https://www.greenhousecanada.com/crops/cannabis/starting-young-in-the-cannabis-nursery-game-32906
Exactly. I'll trade 1.6M shares for a potential $26M harvest any day. If MYM is now out of the picture Crop would get half, their subsidiary Elite would get the other half. If MYM is still in the picture Crop and Elite would split half the harvest, MYM would get the other half. Either way Crop makes out well. imho glta
FM Did you notice they raised about the same amount of capital ($500K) as they were supposed to get from MYM for half their CBD crop. Maybe MYM couldn't come up with money. Hope so because the company reported the CBD crop had a potential revenue of over $26M.
Hopefully that deal is terminated now so Crop gets half the proceeds, their subsidiary Elite the other half. We haven't heard anything about the MYM deal being completed in months so that's my guess. Either way it's good to know Crop still has access to capital on reasonable terms. imho glta

Golden Leaf's total 2018 revenue was US16.5 million. Market cap is US$31.9 million. Approximately 2 times annual revenue. If anyone knows a cannabis company with a better revenue to market cap ratio please post it. Golden Leaf is beaten down way to far compared to others with similar revenues. imho glta

To me investing in craft grower GTEC is like investing in craft grower Broken Coast without paying a high price to purchase Aphria stock. Hoping GTEC stays independent from the mega growers, but have a feeling they will get offers once all the new facilities are licensed. Maybe I'll end up owning Aphria shares after all. One Aphria share for six GTEC shares seems about right to me :) imho glta
Here's a quote from a recent April 2019 article about the GTEC cannabis store in Saskatchewan. The construction phase should be already completed according to the January 2019 article below.
To me it's good that GTEC is with partnering with with the Battlefords Agency Tribal Chiefs. This opens up a whole new retail footprint for GTEC to tap. Especially underserved rural populations. Hopefully the SLGA will approve the store opening soon.

Up until now Golden Leaf has done a poor job marketing itself to investors. They haven't even had a new Twitter post in over a year. Hopefully the new CEO understands the importance of a active social media presence to attract investors. She has executive experience with well marketed companies, like Patagonia, that understand where the new generation of consumers get their information.
This experience along with the hiring of Renmark for public relations should kick start a new media campaign to rebrand the company. Renmark has done a good job with other companies releasing multiple PR's per month to get the word out. It takes awhile for the rebranding to show results so they need to get started immediately.
Golden Leaf has a good story to tell that hasn't yet seen the light of day. Hopefully the new CEO & Renmark will get started immediately updating the website, get active on social media, and start releasing PR's that help investors understand new CEO's vision for the company. imho glta

Something is happening. The old outdated website is gone. It now has a sign "we'll be back soon" when you visit the site.
Here's my conspiracy theory. Insiders already know they won the vote. Now they are moving quickly to rebrand the company in anticipation of a merger with a partner, or the CEO's own biotech company, or both.
Whatever the case that old website needed a major upgrade. I'm guessing good news next week. imho glta
