"I'm holding that POS too". So am I and also I believe so is Attila.
"Unbelievable, this share price." Absolutely, just think about market cap reasonably, If ALLO is 3 billion and JUNO bought for 9 bil and KITE bought for 12 bil, MRKR in the same space, [call it] the CAR-T space but WITHOUT any cytokine release syndrome, no kind of logical or even illogical thinking can make one believe that MRKR is only worth 200 million.
What the real problem is … is "THEY".
Now 6 months ago when many here were talking about "they" … it was NO, there is no they, there is no bogyman manipulating anything, the market is rational and efficient.
MRKR's share price will not go back up until "they" are done playing their F@#$ing BS games, whether they are short sellers or market makers or hedge funds.
Whatever this crazy game is … it is out of our hands by us buying 1000 shares here and 5000 shares there or 10000 next week.
When they are done killing us and more good news comes out from MRKR, then we can get to a reasonable and fair market cap.
All we can do is BUY LOW, sit tight and wait.
"One would think the shelf is being tapped at $5 they way we are dropping."
I hope not. They don't really need the money until somewhere end on 2020.
Why raise now when they can wait till a bit until the price rises on any news from 4th quarter 2019 or 1st quarter 2020.
Been in TPIV/MRKR since 2015, ain't going nowhere, bought more today at $5.21 and placed an additional buy order at $4.88 just in case.
Not looking good going into a Friday. After Wednesday price turn, needed today to support that, opposite happened.
If tomorrow is going to be a larger disaster, just find the bottom and start to build.
But again ... market makers and short sellers ... out of our hands.
"Company looks so much stronger today than during the run to $13."
That is certainly a true statement.
PHANTOM, I've had the giant flood light shining in the night sky for a couple of nights now … put on the suit and cape and fly in here and bring justice to MRKR's share price. ha ha
Do you find it ironic that the one time I don't put in stop losses to protect profits cause I think it's going much higher … is the time it goes down? another ha ha
Our results:
Arm A:
Out of the 9 evaluable patients (one patient was too early to be evaluated):
3 patients experienced objective responses after administration of MultiTAA cells
1 patient experienced a complete response
2 patients experienced partial responses
4 patients experienced stable disease; 2 patients within stable disease boundaries (+20%/-30%) saw reversal of tumor growth – tumors previously growing after chemotherapy alone showed shrinkage after administration of MultiTAA cells
1 patient experienced a mixed response (some lesions increased in size and others decreased for a net zero change in size of tumor lesions)
1 patient experienced disease progression
Overall tumor volume shrinkage was observed in six out of the eight patients with a measurable tumor after administration of MultiTAA cells. One evaluable patient did not have tumor measurements for analysis.
Of the 9 evaluable patients, over half have survived to or beyond the historical median overall survival associated with their respective chemotherapy regimens, and 7 of the 9 patients remain alive.
In patients responding to therapy, significant expansion of the infused MultiTAA cells was observed, along with broad-based epitope spreading, with significant expansion of endogenous T cells specific for other tumor specific antigens.
I do not know how that can be anything except Good News, especially for patients.
Someone mention Halozyme and the good success they had against pancreatic cancer.
Again, I am far from a Doctor, but from what I understand, Halozyme doesn't make a "medicine" that cures or does anything for cancer. They make a "medicine" that may help other actual cancer medicines work better.
They have an enzyme (rHuPH20) that degrades hyaluronan.
The hyaluronan degradation leads to reduced tumor pressure, restores blood flow and aids the circulation of co-administered anti-cancer therapies.
They are using their enzyme along with both ABRAXANE and Gemcitabine.
Results:
All 60 patients are evaluable for safety and efficacy. Two (3%) grade 3/4 TE events occurred (one in each cohort), and two grade 3 GI hemorrhages; these AEs resolved with supportive treatment. There were three (5%) complete responses, 28 (47%) partial responses, 20 (33%) stable disease responses, and 9 (15%) progressive disease/non-evaluable responses. Median PFS is 7.0 months across both cohorts, and median overall survival has not been reached.
MultiTAA may become a first line treatment by itself, a stand alone treatment, a follow up treatment after other therapies.
Whereas Halozyme is trying to make 2 older medicines from 2005 + 2013 work better.
Glad they had the success they did but I don't really think they are in the same ballpark as the potential that MultiTAA has.
Hope you're right again.
I would like to see more defined results info. 56% objective response, but out of those what % stable, what % improved, how much improvement/tumor shrinkage.
Hope you're right.
Howdy CI, I wasn't referring to "story" as in the data or news, I was responding to post that said:
"This looks like a typical trader’s sell before data, short attack and MM manipulation to steal shares before good news! Monday will be a telling story!"
I meant the "story" the stock price will tell. Large institutions buying would help there a lot.
I thought the news was good for pancreatic cancer, 56% either stable or positive response (in one group), one complete remission, in a small number patients.
I guess some investors thought our patients were going to get out of bed and play basketball, so anything less was a disappointment.
I did not like the last line in the AACR abstract:
"Conclusion: Administration of multiTAA-T cells as a therapy for pancreatic cancer appears to be feasible and safe, and may be associated with benefit to patients with pancreatic cancer."
Might as well just say, may be, possibly, potentially, could be, we're really not sure but anything can happen, HEY you never know, associated with benefit to patients with pancreatic cancer."
Hope the story Monday tells is a much better one than today.
GOOD LUCK to everyone who didn't sell.
I think my 50 contracts for Aug $10's may do the same.
Boy, between MRKR & AVXL, did we have a good week.
The only thing that can save this next week is HUGE institutional buying.
God, I hope you are right, kind of shocked right now, last time I was down the price of a new Cadillac in one day was the tech bubble crash in March 2000.
Good news, down 30%, ?
So AXSM Axsome goes from $2 to $25 in 2019: For Major Depressive Disorder "AXS-05 demonstrated a 17.2 point reduction in the MADRS total score compared to a 12.1 point reduction for bupropion (p=0.013)."
MRKR was like $6 when July 20 conference was announced.
The same AXSM ratio puts MRKR at $75 by end of 2019.
By New Years Eve, I'll be happy with half of that.
The last two days trading activity has actually been a good sign.
Look at the players who's selling and the outcome.
Long term holders, both individual and institutional have Not been selling, so forget them/us.
Short term profit takers (and lump in the buy on the rumor, sell "before" the news crowd) have been selling on low volume … OK, and EVERY TIME they drove it down, BUYERS brought it back up.
Short sellers (with very little shares/ammo available to them) have been selling on low volume … OK, and EVERY TIME they drove it down, BUYERS brought it back up.
Market makers who are trying to drive the price down (for what ever reason) have been selling on low volume … OK, and EVERY TIME they drove it down, BUYERS brought it back up.
Friday, tomorrow, will "they" play the same game before their timeclock runs out?
I would think, on the last day before news, we should have much higher volume due to both the "game players" and the last chance to buy before news players.
Thank You for the explanation. The more I learn, the more there is to still learn.
"Time to panic!" - I've been waiting for someone to confirm what I was thinking - I'M SELLING EVERYTHING TOMORROW {insert sarcasm}.
Sold at $2.84, will buy back when/if it gets down to under $2.20.
SOLD HALF POSITION - WILL BUY BACK WHEN DONE TANKING
Phantom, I was considering what will constitute "good news"? I guess we will hear objective response rates and complete response rates (if any) or tumor shrinkage size.
Someone correct me if I am wrong on this (I'm not a medical anything), but first I was thinking, well, as long as there will still be no cytokine release syndrome and as long as we still get epitope spreading, that will be good news.....but then I thought, why would those 2 things not be almost automatic to happen.
I say that because if they are using the same 5 antigens for PC that they are using for AML, why would cytokine or epitope be any different results?
I don't think it should matter as far as what cancer is being targeted if its the same 5 antigens.
I could see if it were a different antigen cocktail because then "that antigen mix" might not produce epitope spreading, but if the 5 mix promotes epitope spreading in an AML patient, why wouldn't the same 5 mix do the same with a PC patient?
And the same logic for cytokine release?
Last trade at $9.02, someone bought 100 shares at 7:48 PM.

MEANINGLESS - todays price swings are meaningless.
Bears on stock twits are meaningless.
Short sellers are meaningless.
NO CYTOKINE RELEASE SYNDROME
EPITOPE SPREADING
NOT GENETICALLY ENGINEERED
PERIOD!
BUY MRKR & MRKR OPTIONS BY FRIDAY BEFORE NEWS ON JULY 20
TWO DAYS LEFT TO BUY MRKR AND MRKR OPTIONS BEFORE NEWS
IBB , Nasdaq biotech is up just a bit today.
I was thinking that smaller blocks to sell, followed by larger blocks to buy, would have been the pattern if MM's were trying to drive the price down with as little shares as possible so they can buy much more shares cheaper, but I also thought that on Thur and Fri we would have had much higher volume, so I don't know.
We wait until Monday morning when the market opens and reacts to the news.
Good Luck
OK, THANKS. I guess then I hope whoever is buying the $15's is correct and it's up above $20 by then.
I like my $10's. As much as a like MRKR and think/hope we get to $30 and beyond, with options I REALLY would rather go with the much less risk in the $10's. I hate to bet the $15 and have stock price be $14.90 on expiration date.
I'm trying to understand the action on the Aug $15.
Rough numbers example:
Aug $10 (ask $1) = over $11 is profit
Aug $15 (ask $0.50) = over $15.50 is profit
You can buy twice any many Aug $15 as Aug $10 as the ask price is half for the $15's, but profit is much less.
Let's say it goes to $17,
The $10's make $6 profit
The $15's make $1.50 profit but you bought twice as many so profit (for the same investment amount) is $3
Am I missing something?
Can someone explain this, Why is there more volume in Aug $15 calls with a 55 cent ask than Aug $10 calls with a 90 cent ask?
Aug $10 you need to get to $10.90
Aug $15 you need to get to $15.55
Yes, based on the ask prices you can buy about twice as many $15's, but you wind up making a lot less money.
I own 50 Aug $10 contracts, What am I missing here?
THANK YOU
Finished my scones and tea, when I was done I looked into the cup and the tea leaves at the bottom were in the shape of an arrow pointing down …
I panicked a bit and turned to run to the computer to put in sell orders, but I bumped the table and the cup starting spinning round and round,
I watched it spin and when it stopped the tea leaves arrow was now facing up, so I guess all is OK.
Or am I reading too much into this.
JUST CLOSE ABOVE $9.
OH NO - WE'RE DOWN 14 CENTS - I'M SELLING EVERYTHING ……………………………………………………
is something you're not hearing from me.
Like Buffalo Springfield said … "There's something happening here", what it is will be exactly clear … on Tuesday.
One week till then - GOOD LUCK to all investors for believing and to all patients who need it so they can have a longer, happier life.
Hopefully it is a win win for all concerned … except shorters.
Buying more tomorrow morning.
BUY NOW before release of APADAZ - PLUS two news drugs for ADHD. With a market cap of only 43 million, seems very cheap and worth a shot here.
I've seen many times where data that was presented showed up pretty quick on TD Ameritrade or MSN money. At TD, if you own a stock they feed you all news concerning it.
I'm expecting that we should be able to read some report from some stock/news service like Benzinga or Dow Jones.
Monday, we are supposed to be able to listen live, but I was told that the link is not on the MRKR website yet.
Tomorrow and near beyond ... can we have a bit more volume and close between 9.07 and 9.17, the two recent intraday highs?
Wednesday - 9.15
Thursday - 9.35
Friday - 9.75
Monday - 17.75
Tuesday - 37.25
Wednesday - we are STILL undervalued compared to ALLO, JUNO, KITE, and MOST other biotechs.
I don't know what will happen tomorrow, I don't like the price dropping as it has been, but I bought another 1000 shares just cause it seemed cheap and just to average cost down being that about a week ago I bought 1000 around $4.
Hope it turns around.
