It is my hope that vape holdings becomes the go-to for all things vaporizer and extract.
They would do well by working with the glass blower who produces the Ti curve.
If they haven't already released it, I most anticipate an extract pen similar to e-cigs as these will be the future.
So true, if this tiny bit of information is enough to boost us, I can't imagine once we get some real updates.
Perhaps we can expect Mr. Glover from SA to publish an article to save face from the backlash he received and will continue to receive after his negative article.
PHOT - backbone of the Mj industry since before it was legal!
Is the bet you made for .15 valid through only today? Only this week?
Just let me know when you owe us those 7k shares.
What you neglected to mention is penny stock in emerging industry. A lot of out core Mj companies won't be penny for long :)
Good luck!
All well and good to hope for cheapies, but this blip of news isn't even the tip of the iceberg.
It's more like the arctic bird flying above the iceberg.
Most important, they are communicating plans and progress with the world.
Would you expedite equipment if there wasn't high demand? No way, logistics costs you and it costs you more to expedite.
The condescending attitude is unnecessary.
No one is arguing that it's a good idea to get high on anything and drive.
Though many mainstream widely accepted drugs can cause worse safety issues than pot.
This is however, a message board for stocks - specifically PHOT. This is not a board for 'rules of the road' or 'bash weed in general'.
Would love to see more thoughts on PHOT, but it's also humbling so many come here with general Mj discussion as well.
Sounds like poor judgement on your part to trust someone driving while smoking. Much less somehow let her drive your car?
It's also true that there are varying strains with varying effects that can affect some more than others.
Since we've all gone to college, it's true barcoded - I have only heard of clumsy driving for those who get high and do it. Some of us have had hundreds of safe experiences, others will let one bad experience decide the rest.
Then on the other hand there was a buddy who got smashed into by a drunk driver one Halloween. His friend in the passenger seat was killed.
If you're saying pot is a blown tire and alcohol a dead body - well then I'll take pot over liquor any day.
Alternatively, diversifying has allowed me to make gains on days that 1 or 2 others may be down.
To be all in 100% on only one company in this industry that has so much to offer - I don't know how you could justify it?
I am in Trtc, and a company that will likely be doing business with Trtc in the future.
I support them both with my $ and have been generously rewarded.
Will be holding Trtc long to see what happens.
Outdoor growers and energy costs?
You're a bit closer to the horse's behind than the mouth in this case.
Please provide me with an overview of energy sapping issues that an outside grower deals with - other than ventilation fans in a greenhouse.
If you wouldn't mind humoring me here, what is it you do that allows you to get exposure to us indoor and outdoor growers?
What do you think about LED vs HID?
How about all the other potential light sources out there? Which one would most interest you and why?
For someone who claims to have all this research done, why aren't you mentioning they sell all manner of light technology available at this point?
If you think they should be at the forefront of technological advancements, then what would you suggest?
They already have all from HID to LED and everything in between.
I'm not sure if you are aware of the industry or have experience in it, so let's have a cup of coffee about it sometime soon.
Can't really see .17 or .13 out there for you. Did you factor in the next few announcements that are expected?
Realistically, I could see .18 retrace on traditional dip period between 10-11 AM.
The big question is how far back does it bounce? We've seen she's got enough attention to move near half a buck in the preseason game. How long to get back to that level is a good question.
The biggest unknown to everyone at this moment is what will they announce? When? what impact will it have?
This next bit is important because it will demonstrate if they can be effective with their multiple revenue streams.
The number can vary so widely - could be 1-5 large collectives or they could spread it out with individual professional growers.
Of course it could always go both ways, but I'd like to see some large collectives lumped in. Good exposure for both parties.
I was just reading up on the comments from the SA article - way more PHOT supporters came out of the woodwork to challenge the author than i'd ever expect. Many negative posts concentrated on the phototron, which is one of hundreds, perhaps thousands of different products they sell.
The grow life tent for instance is safe, strong, socketed and light + infrared proof. These tents will last many a lifetime. Meanwhile, what about all the other tools needed to establish a regulated indoor grow environment?
If volume remains constant, this next week will be interesting. PHOT is heavier to move up than the others, but has kept up with this massive volume.
PHOT's weight is correlated with its ambitions. I will be impressed if they perform as they intend to.
I like that they are into more avenues of revenue than just grow supplies. They are structuring to become necessary within the industry.
Well if growers can't get loans from banks then where will they go to get the funding for their equipment? Not every grower has large capital to start.
the Growlife infrastructure funding & technology program (GIFT) could be the first place people turn when expanding or beginning operations.
Link on GIFT - http://m.prnewswire.com/news-releases/growlife-expands-cannabis-presence-to-include-growlife-infrastructure-funding--technology-program-gift-227648611.html
I haven't read up on the banks yet, but I wonder if they are denying just loans or also accepting money from cannabis sales as well...
Also wondering if all banks are saying no, and if this will affect Bank of America who said they would support it.
Hahaha I like your style my man, so jax means jacksonville? We may be in the same bar
Right now I'm at the bar with some buds watching the heat play, every young investor I talk to wants in on the industry
I own both - good to see trt# back to positive.
It's good to diversify with these two. I've never been into intense single stock loyalty.
Put some in our vape cousin, but have drawn the line there for now. Sold all before it split and grabbed a measly 5k shares before close to hold long.
Tomorrow will be spent researching. There may be 1 or 2 other potentials out there.
Core will always be with PHOT.
Yes sir it's my money in there too. I'm not happy to see it come and go.
Perhaps in my 'critical reading' I missed your ultimate point. Note the quotations were for sarcasm as it was more of a skim.
My point is also that while I have an understanding about the industry, I can at times be clueless on market movement with concern to stocks.
People like you, monkey, officerk, etc are the real service to these boards. People with real market knowledge, I was fresh in 2013 and am operating purely on fundamentals.
I'd be Aweful surprised with a side of disappointment if they didn't at least come out of their incubators next week to tell us something about their plans, their progress.
In response to PR -
I personally think it was wise for PHOT to hold on to their news this week, they may have even seen the irregular spike and thought twice about it.
Lots of PR's can trigger selling as shares will build up in anticipation.
Since they were publicly attacked by SA as a 'pump and dump' I think it would have played right into the cards of MM's if they released a PR today.
In my head I have this set that a news release would be a sign of weakness. I am happier they are quiet and honestly would have considered selling if they had news out this week.
We all know the leadership is anything but weak - and getting better each month.
A long time ago, LAmerica and I had a back and forth information exchange on these boards and one of my main points is that PHOT is starting at the beginning and will have more experience dealing with the various hurdles of the industry. This way, they can stay several steps ahead of any emerging public competitors.
That is not to rule out that another company can't emerge as the industry Titan, but this week has been another hurdle for them to jump. So far, they have been Olympians in the hurdle track, but every athlete takes a spill or two.
I am in this stock because I know the industry, and have personally used their supplies with great success. I am holding it as a very long investment and I am not ruling out any other pot stocks in the meantime.
Have a great weekend all!
Know all about dabs, I've made my own BHO for years.
I was hoping for something you wouldn't have to use a torch with, it's quite annoying and can be dangerous depending on the user.
I'll be more interested in the other products vape will have to offer. I don't necessarily believe a different method of dabbing for a regular piece is revolutionary with the torch involved, but I'm open to being wrong and time will tell.
Is there anywhere I can get a full list of plpe's products? The hive is not at all what I was expecting so I would like to see what more is up their sleeves.
Kiosk is not the same as a vending machine for Mj - just to clarify.
Maybe put the burrito machine in a dispensary for your hungry customers though?
If you let the fear in, that is the answer I expect.
They won't all of a sudden cause some mammoth crash just because one person is standing up.
They can't change a whole country's perspective, and SA's article has already been challenged with huge backlash.
They won't risk it again so soon, there are such things as criminal investigations you know.
This was a great time more for my friends who want in than myself, for the RSI and charts to cool off and reset.
Phot long and strong for years to come.
Yup, it's a sting knowing what we could have if we joined the sell off, but all us early birds are still sitting pretty.
They'll have to try harder than that for our shares - bring it!
Shorties were getting wrecked until yesterday. They will have their moments, but shorts will have far less moments than longs.
For most of us we've had 4-5x gains - so what if we didn't secure 7-8x gains? They'll be back - Growlife being one of the most legitimate companies in the Mj sector, I have no doubt and will not be emotional either way.
So don't cry guys, dry your eyes.
Good man Alan, not quite the extensive myth debunking article we wanted to see, but it's a step in the right direction.
For those of us that know how far away phot is from a P&D - we'll have to see how this month goes.
Meanwhile what is done in darkness will be brought to light.
Don't know if I would expect a pr on a Friday.
This stock has been incredibly resilient for those willing to ride the dips though
Isn't it nice to have been here long enough to be able to brave out these kinds of things?
Both phot and Trtc shook at the same time and bounce at the same time... Hmmmm
You mean the quintupled gains that I've kept from holding long since .07 and not listening to fear mongers trying to get in low?
Or rather there are lots of people trying to get in on lower prices.
The "hype train" as you put it, will depart from station sometimes only to return every time at the end of the day.
When you look at Growlife you look at a tangible massive supplier of grow supplies to the whole industry.
Lots come to this board to pump their Mj stocks to try and lure some of these share holders in.
I'm plpe, phot, Trtc all day long way.
However shareholders get a say on if they do or don't.
Maybe in February there will be good reason, maybe not.
What filing today? Isn't this the same increase that will be voted on? They have until February to show us why we'd need to authorize that.
Thanks dmc, I very much like both phot and Trtc, a shame how the boys over on that board reacted to the thoughts of us joining forces.
I don't believe either company needs a 'tug boat' as others have referred to.
I believe Trtc and phot are in a small handful of stocks that can form juggernaut companies together in the coming years, but only 100% once federal law is on board.
Extremely ironic their ties to prison systems and now a substance that most think should be legal.
I suppose we all can "turn a new leaf" I'm this day and age.
So long as they provide quality to phot - I am steadfast in my position.
Yes sir, we've known about GPSI, but there have been a lot of negative words spoken about that company.
Are you able to shed more light on GPSI?
Not when we can run like this on no PR and converting every basher there is.
People are taking notice just based on business channels, Colorado and New York.
What happens state by state? .50 increase per state?
With such a correlation to states that are legalizing, this is absolutely long!
20 mil volume in 15 minutes? I may have to eat my words on my earlier prediction for lower vol.
It's unlikely but let's put it this way.
Yesterday was 112+ million volume.
If we go over that volume consistently, well then it would be truly amazing!
Best of luck all, spotlight is on.
I like both companies and they will do great things in this industry.
Can they benefit from a merger? Yes.
Can they both stand on their own two feet? Yes.
Will they get in some joint projects? Fair bet.
It would be a merger between supply company and growers - I don't believe ph#t is ready to cross that green line just yet.
If we see federal legalization?
Then green light on the merger and you get an industry Titan.
