This could get the market going today. Unemployment drops...

FYI Here's a link that list key FDA dates for Bios.

If the market was up 30% in the last 42 days, I might agree with you.
Just my .02 0n today’s action The new investors entered at 10.42 in the dilution."See below" We reached a high of 15.12 while I was watching this AM. I think some took profit to cover fees and put a little in the bank. I think the new investors are feeling very happy with their investment at this time, as are the brokers that sold this. They "brokers" had a fantastic Christmas.
This was an increase of 4.70 PPS in 42 days. This was profit taking and paying expenses imo. I see a little more profit taking and some consolidation in the near future, then ARIA moves up again. This is baring Iran,N.Korea, Greece, or Italy causing world turmoil….
ITEM 1.01 Entry into a Material Definitive Agreement.
On December 15, 2011, ARIAD Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (the “Company”) entered into an underwriting agreement (the “Underwriting Agreement”) with J. P. Morgan Securities LLC, Cowen and Company, LLC and Jefferies & Company, Inc., as representatives of the several underwriters (the “Underwriters”) named in Schedule 1 of the Underwriting Agreement, related to a public offering of 21,500,000 shares of the Company’s common stock, par value $0.001 per share (the “Common Stock”), at a public offering price of $10.42 per share less the underwriting discounts and commissions (the “Offering”). Under the terms of the Underwriting Agreement, the Company has granted the Underwriters an option, exercisable for 30 days, to purchase up to an additional 3,225,000 shares of Common Stock to cover over-allotments, if any, at the same price. The Offering is expected to close on or about December 20, 2011, subject to the satisfaction of customary closing conditions.
The net proceeds to the Company are expected to be approximately $211.3 million after deducting the underwriting discounts and commissions and estimated expenses associated with the Offering
Needless to say, the SEC is already collecting enough money at its current fee rates to pay for its requested budget increases.
I hope the net can be expanded with all the unused funds? Do you see my point...
Bloom Box
Things that are to good to be true? Anyone remember this from 2010? It was on 60 min? Any members her have any input on this? Chime in.

1manband Thanks for the info: I almost busted out laughing when I read this excerpt: However, being government, they never like to come in short, so their estimates are often very conservative and end up bringing in more than budgeted, which Congress keeps.
Especially the "Congress Keeps"
Another bunch that has not done their job, IMO
Hopefully the American public will make the changes needed across the board!
AMERICA IS 15.3 trillion in DEBT.
honest Is hard to find with any company thats not on a big board IMO. Even the BB reporting company are questionable.
Now that I think about it a little, Enron and a few other big board stocks come to mind? I think we need more employees at the SEC and let the companys that report to them fund it! Just as the FDA does, the application fees fund a lot of the FDA.
If its an SEC document? At the bottom. dont they make a statment that states I attest or something of that nature? Here is a sample I found.I think your correct in you assumption, maybe someone else will chime in.
Pursuant to the requirements of Section 13 or 15(d) of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934, as amended, the Registrant has duly caused this report to be signed on its behalf by the undersigned, thereunto duly authorized. They could post both, the orginal and the amended. I think that would be the legal route.

Nothing like a little gasoline on the fire:
http://www.bizjournals.com/boston/news/2012/01/19/ariad-an-acquisition-target.html
I suspect that these type articles will be more frequent in the future.
I don’t think the Harv has any reason to sell. Actually, I think it would take a hostile takeover at this point,
I think BTH quoted the Harv well in the below post! Not saying the PPS won’t react to these articles written by hangers on. , I was gentle with my description of the writers……
http://investorshub.advfn.com/boards/read_msg.aspx?message_id=71015467
I just watched the video. Who is in charge of this operation? What the hell is Management thinking posting this Video for the world to see? Are they just glad it’s moving up and down?
Has anyone taken a serious look at the inconstantices coming out of the machine? Unbelievable that Management would post this on youtube. I see so many cones that need to go in the garbage. Some over filled and many under filled? Nothing that should be sold! Not much thinking went into this decision, especialy in displaying food cost! IMO
What Nimrod from CONZ posted this video?
Video:
I cant argue with the true numbers. I own this POS. I ask myself how long it will take to burn throught the 21 mil dilution? When is the next dilution? Another dilution and this will be at .25 in a blink of the eye!
BTW Akanthos may have 5% of something but it is not FCSC outstanding shares. What we need is serious Institutional Investors to pull this company up.
The most postive thing I can say about FCSC at this time is they are not a SCAM company!
winduken
Just to put Institutional Investors stake in Perspective, I downloaded this from MSN, each shareholder can make their own determination of the Institutional Investment in FCSC from the public numbers.

You’re correct—NEOP (NAVP) was a case where a company responded to a negative write-up but (apparently) didn’t do anything wrong.
They NAVP thanks, have a PDUFA date somewhere in the future, when? But I think they stand a better chance now, as the private company that filed with the same comparisions and received FDA approval.Just my .02
Time will tell.
Thank you for your honest responce DD.

Have you read the articles that Mark S. published? It's one thing to question on merit, another for personal gain. I think this was the case with the articles I mentioned. I responded specifically to your post, not the company in question. Not argueing your previous post. But I dissagree with the part quoted below.
DD POST: “Off the top of my head, I can’t think of a case where a biotech company issued a PR to condemn a negative write-up in which it did not turn out that the company had, in fact, done something wrong.”
Please read the articles. I would be intrested in your opinion of what occured with Marks S. articles. Actually the intent.
BOD
You might want to read Mark Sherkels article on NEOP. Actually 2. He was short the shares and IMO wrote the article to bring the price down so he could profit.
In brief, in the article he claimed that there comparison to the only drug on the market was not FDA approved. This company was private. Since that time the private company has received FDA approval. They used the exact same comparisons that NEOP has, to obtain FDA approval.
IMO it was written for personal gain.
Just GOOGLE and I think you can find these articles fairly easy. I was just visiting your page on my day off. Read and make your own decision.
PS:I must add NEOP has changed the stock symbol since selling off part of the company. I dont know what it was changed to.

If an offer of around 150% comes in, I’m all in. Invested in ARIA since the 3s. Bring it! :)
Best news today IMO was for the patients! The 3200 patients being able to access Pona. It’s now available on compassionate basis. This is a milestone for them!
I feel in my heart this is the true course of ARIAD.
BOD
I give Harvey Berger a thumbs up for assisting these paitents. They seriousely need the help!
ARIA article:
http://seekingalpha.com/article/318568-circumstances-that-encourage-selecting-specific-biotech-stocks
ARIA Part if you dont want to read the entire article.
ARIAD (ARIA) now fits this category. Recently, its stock moved upward without interruption and with no significant profit taking or downgrading by analysts. Ariad has an excellent small molecule therapeutic discovery technology, alliances and a sarcoma drug, ridaforolimus, expected to be FDA approved in a few months.
Usually, all these positives would not stop bearish analysts from finding reasons to halt a firm's rally. In this case, bearish analysts remained silent. The only news that could silence bearish analysts is a possible takeover, probably by Ariad’s partner on the drug or others. Ridaforolimus is an mTOR inhibitor that demonstrated promising clinical trial results. The drug is expected to be soon granted approval by the European Medicinal Agency.
For us, takeover is not the only reason for investing in ARIA. The firm has great potential and will put many of its promising pipeline products on the market.
For example, I, along with a lot of others(and I'm not proud of this)held an enormous core position during and thru the 13.50/7.50 drop.
X2 But I traded for a bunch of .25 when it was in the 3,4,5,6 range. *8 screwed me for .12, but still holding those extras from the bear raid day "remember that" and also added again at 10.92 after the announcment on DEC 11? Yes, that has paid well also for what 28 days. I expect some profit taking soon.
I should think about taking some profit also...
BTH what do you think? We were PM on the Bear raid day. I know you remember.
Cant wait to see the next SHORT report LOL
"We are not for sale", but Harvey is 60-61.. He might take $30.. And it seems to be following the script..slowly up most days until finally.. Boom.
Everything has a price! Merk had thier chance prior to the dilution. Obviousely they did not see the merit in the the accumlication of Ariad?
Others did, and the price just went up.
I assure you that Merk and the Harv had discussions prior to this last dilution "if one can call it that from the pps action"
They opted out. On to the next tier for Ariad.
I think in the end it will be one of Merk's seriouse oversites.
Time will tell.

There are many arguments that can be made both pro and con. I wish I could post some of the positive silicone breast implants outcomes here. Yes this is a closer analogy than some posted previously.
In the end, it will be sales for FCSC. My clock is ticking but I think at this point I’m screwed. I’m not waiting 2 years or more for results from a deal they made with the Dr’s they trained. What is the deal they make with the Drs?
Don’t get me wrong I’m long this stock at this time?, just haven’t seen timely professionalism on the web pages they post, no sales, and have not moved forward in the areas I thought they would in real time. They have FDA approval, but means nothing without numbers on the books. The FDA approves drugs and devices every month that never make a dime. I’m beginning to suspect this is just another one of those useless approvals.
Oh’ did I mention the 22 mil dilution in addition to the sale of the only product that had a positive cash flow?
Who are the people at FCSC looking out for? At this point I think they made themselves a very nice retirement deal when they sold off. Where do the shareholders stand? I feel like I’m holding a Big Bag of Ch-t
BTH, Glad you showed up. I wanted to run a question by you. Some here are counting on 113 as almost a given. I for one feel the small cell Lung Cancer is about the worst of the worst as far as Cancer goes. I plan to cash at least half out on Pona before 113 gets to the same stage in trials.
Personally I have many friends that passed from lung caner. The longest lived 5 years under treatment from Vanderbilt UV.
What is your take on 113 forward looking?

"Aquillerra is still there. Just not in charge of the IMGG audit committee <giggle>. (and if I were him, that is the ONE thing I wouldn't want my name attached to with Janes in charge)
I can't find a lot on the new guy. Lot of ad listings, but not a lot of opinions. My guess, if he is not a FOD (Friend of Dean), FACA (Friend of Alpha Capital) then he's green and gullible.
My WAG here is he's a FACA"
More than likely this is why Dean made the change on his voting shares. The Toxic lenders are getting very close.....they do control a lot of IMGG shares at this time.
I guess I will go back through the last 10K and 10Q and see what it states. They were filed with the SEC so it should be ac-cu-rate...... yes I stuttered
I wonder if Soen is even working at IMGG at this time? How he sold at .19 is beyond me. I’m sure the filing was late as they all are from IMGG, but the price had not been at .19 for a long time when he sold????? Maybe it was a T trade to his heirs’ lol
Soen could have been gone for 90 days or more for all we know.
Is Michelle Janes still on the payroll?
Any news on a Board of Directors positions being filled? I guess not with Deans new found voting shares! No need .....
I wonder if line 28 for 1.2 mil shares was Xavier Aguilera? Didn’t he voluntarily resign recently?
Just had to look that one up.

option in stock issue covering potential shortfall
an option offered by a company raising the capital for the issue of further shares of stock to cover a shortfall in the event of overallocation. It gets its name from the Green Shoe Manufacturing Company, which was the first to include the feature in a public offering.
Somebody is going to have a good Chirstmas. Did you see the commisions on this deal 15 million!
I call them as I see them. This one speaks for itself....
IMHO it’s a done deal. I had to look hard for differences in the two models photos to see any diffferance? Not much there? After thinking this over this afternoon my eye kept going back to the "Jetson style boomerang". Any competent person would see it the same way imo. The boomerang overhead moguls will be the clincher in this case imo. The models are two much alike to think one person did not designed both.
I had to laugh at the use of words!
Yes and the conning tower is pretty much "spot on" LOL
When this 21.5 mil Shelf gets filled will they show up as T trades after hours? They would have to show up somewhere in the volume even if at a fixed 10.42 pps would'nt they?
My Brokerage shows 18 Jan 2011 18,314,343 It has come a long way since then. I think we will have a strong close today?

I was aware of this. This is Deans Company and no one, not even shareholders have one word in what transpires with the company business! This is not a public company any longer...
Seems like something is illegal about this but I’m no attorney, Amazing that this could be accomplished with the legal representation that IMGG has retained? Where were all of these people who inked this when the Crenshire deal was on the time table?
Things that make you go Hmm????

While I’m tossing out resumes lets be fair, here is what I could find on our infamous IMGG attorney!

Hello Flash
Could you give the board some numbers or percentages of shares that the loans control and at what price? I think .05 will be the new base for the near future.
IMGG has made some serious loans at a price. The Crenshire debacle is still in my craw! How an Attorney could mess a filing up 6 times in a row is beyond me!
