I wasn't speculating. I was reporting what I found regarding Argentina laws. Things may have changed since then but since it seems Biocells intends to send there stems to Vegas now it's probably the issue.
Read this dated April 2009. I think it creates issues for in country storage but am not an Argentina lawyer. But would explain why they are storing in Vegas now.
The resolution 69/09 of the INCUCAI (Argentine Organ Donation Authority) establishes that the stem cells originated from the umbilical cord blood that are kept from now on, will be able to be used for transplant by any patient in Argentina or abroad.
It has been revealed that the number of units stored adds up to 20.000
Nevertheless, the quantity is so small, that can only be used in children and adults of low weight. For the rest of the patients it is necessary to have donors of bone marrow.
The norm establishes that all the units keep for use of the proper family in case of needing them must be registered into the National Record of Donors.
As the Argentine registry is integrated to a world database, it will extend the possibilities of finding compatible material for a transplant.
As for the already preserved units, the parents will be able to choose to incorporate the or not to the database.
The resolution regulates the practice of the private storage banks, and gives to them 180 days to be adapt to the requirements. Meanwhile, they will not be able to realize this activity.

The Argentina law is that any stem cells stored in Argentina are public stems. So if you live in Argentina and want to privately bank your cord blood it has to be stored outside the country. And if you import (not sure you can) any stems into Argentina they too become public stems. So no private banking inside the country. Latin America laws are much different country to country.
Funny how nothing seems to get the volume up lately. I look for us to move one day on no news IMO.
Our party.
Dilution or not this company is dead. Going to no bid soon IMO. Good luck to all who choose to invest here.
We finally agree on something. This stock is a scam and anyone that buys it with Pinksheets showing Caveat Emptor deserves to lost there money.
You'll see ,0001 before you see .0009. But good luck with your investment.
This POS was down 50% today. What are you looking at?
And he will be back in the office Monday.
Everyone have a good weekend.
Glad to see you agree.
It's going to no bid IMO.
I guess this post wasn't true? It was only two hours ago you said you were buying. Which is it?
It's trading for a reason. If you don't like it then don't buy it. Pretty simple isn't it? We're buying it!
You'll have to enlighten us how you're making dollars with the stock dropping like a rock. So you admit this company is no more than a scam?
At least some people had enough sense to sell.
Nevada revoked their corporate status in 2008. What more do people need to see? No product, no license to operate a business, no phone, and some people are actually buying. Unreal.
A better plan for this stock would be to get out while you can and if you believe something might happen put it on your watch list and buy in asap after something is actually announced. I doubt they are going to do anything and once it goes to gray sheets you will be screwed.
Looks like some people are coming to there senses and selling. Gray sheets next no doubt.
Well the next step is for it to go to gray sheets.
I'm very long. Just angers me they can get away with this crap. The SEC is worthless.
It's like legalized stealing the way the MM's manipulate the bid/ask. Total theft IMO. One second the bid/ask is .0092/.0093 and a second later they change it to .0089/.0090. Unreal.
Sounds like from that statement that you have to build a Lab to get the license. I know someone has put up the money to make this happen but it's all I know at this point. Hopefully if they don't currently hold a license they know that by building the facility they will get one.
It's hard to find out much about China but I believe from the little I have seen the CEO of AXMP is a fairly prominent person in China. If true then you're right. This could be the first of many. Hope so.
America hasn't approved many of the transplants being done today in Shenyang. That's why people are flying there for treatment.
As I stated previously, Shenyang is the world mecca for cord blood transplants so they have a working model for public storage if they choose that.
I'm not sure how it works in China but Matt is a Director on the Board of AXMP now so I'm sure he has a lot to say regarding the new stem cell sub. If they do store public cord blood that's fine by me in China because unlike the US they are doing many stem cell transplants there and then we make money doing the match. People from all over the world are flying to Shenyang for transplants.
You're the man.
We are there and on the cheap. Matt and Dr Geoff are over there right now planning the Lab. AXMP has to hold a license or know they will soon receive one or they wouldn't be moving ahead.
Locks, maybe you can ask Matt on your FB page if AXMP has a cord blood storage license currently or is scheduled to receive one in the near future? Thanks
A lot of if's. When a working model is found we will jump in with both feet.
You talk like we're not plugged into that now. We are. But not for free and until someone funds it there is no profit to be made from it. You're thinking ahead and we're in the present but preparing for the future.
Mr Long. Can you name me one cord blood storage company that is making money today storing public cord blood? I know you love that market but until there is a business plan to do that which is profitable, why?
They are fine. Both will be back in the office on Monday.
Finally making a little move up.
And what proof do you have? Zero.
Well if you had read the whole statement you wouldn't be so confused. You left out this part.
Turn on the light-switch and be instantly profitable and pay a dividend. Last year we paid the onerous debts, this year, its for acquisition and to cover some overhead, thus the Tangiers S1.
No. Not at all. But this is China and Shenyang is the global mecca today for cord blood stem cell transplants. Just the thought of needing to add capacity wows me into crazy thoughts. LOL
And this part especially.
"with a capacity of more than 2 million samples to start."
Are you kidding me. to start? I calculated 2M samples to be about $20M/year of royalties for CBAI. With zero cost. It's called Other Income.
Bottom line. I love this deal.
The announcement sounds to me that the entire 13 acre campus and all the employees are going to work on the cord blood business. What do you think about this statement?
I also think the truth is AXMP is moving totally away from there current core business to all in on cord blood.
You know Matt isn't going to share insider info with me just like he never did with you. But the announcement tells a lot IMO.
