Yep, I aggree...let the company decide if they want to do an 10000:1 RS from a level of 0.0001 (to $1) or from 0.0003 to $3 (LOL).
Buying is anyways coming to an end...volumes down despite dilution efforts with hundred+ million on the ask still. Apparently, buyers in these lower volumes were just short positions covering (not retailers anymore).

I conveniently forgot about the pre-paid w's.....do you know how many roughly were left?
Of course now, that I don't think its dilution or retailers selling at a loss, I am wondering what leverage the MMs have since they cannot speculate on rapid (thus highly profitable) PPS decline.
Thanks and nice weekend
LOL...yes it would...or to treat it like a 401K; Add consistantly a little every 2 weeks to build up w/o major risks but possibility of major reward in the long run
For newcomers consider to treat it until EO august like a 401K; Add consistantly a little every 2 weeks to build up w/o major risks but possibility of major reward in the long run.
Not that it matters in the long run...but just to remind the worriers here: Friday has always been a good day for ECIG (independent of the rest of the week, markets, sentiment etc.).
I expect 1) some reloading by EOD 2) some hope to start a mellow uptrend from monday on...thus a volume around 500k and move into flat/slighly green EOD.
Other than that August Q2 ER will be the next big landmark...so there is plenty of time to add to a position or open one.
Everyone who bought pre RS and had a broker like fidelity could have (I don't know about areitrade, etrade etc)
I could have if I had a position...maybe some people who had a low pre-split PPS sold since they have bad experiences with RS.
In any case I had a bad week with other stocks (ECIG is frustrating, too, so I am very hesitant about an entry here)
My account (fifelity trader pro)showed everything correctly and tradable the morning right after the RS... just the ask was high...now the ask is at a dollar and the bid at 60 cents...thats why some trading starts
It has been tradable all last week...just that the ask was too high. I have a bid in at 50cents but are hesitant to even buy at this price...my advice to all people with positions would be to sell at or slightly below a dollar if they can (to cut their losses)....I would not be surprised if an MM spiral starts soon to bring it into the dime range.
Last millisecond of large block trading today revealed first buy-back after Q1 earnings to prevent daily big percentage drops (and ultimately to lift PPS over 2)
Nice to have you back. Despite your (and everyones) miscalculations your posts were always informative.
May I ask if you are back in by opening a position after having closed it entirely before (with losses)... or you mean being back in actively following and analyzing, thus posting.
Thanks
which supports the notion that 10 years later he gets to amounts relevant to him only if he gets the PPS up significantly and, thus, materializes on the millons of options.
In a similar context, what was his motivation in the deal if the basepay is rather small by his standards?
I would not underestimate the possibility that in his advanced career stage he accepted the challenge with ECIG (in addition to compensation and investment profits) out of non-fiscal considerations to attempt a remarkable turnaround; in the best case scenario if achieved one for the history books. This component becomes important for professionals in all sorts of careers (scientists, politicians, managers)as they get older, once the success is not measured anymore by (already accomplished) financial benefit.
Hello guys and girls...is it hear-say that ECIG has lawyers looking into this???? Or did that info come at least firsthand from Phil or Dan by text or call?
Any of you girls and guys buying these days? I just got another 5k shares at 0.3575 to a total of 60K (my average is still in the high 0.6s) but I am totally done shopping now. While I believe we are at the bottom (and thus its time to fill up for every retailer to the highest acceptable position) I don't see ECIG making surprising upwards moves even with positive news, until closer to the Q2 ER release. But to be at ease with it all, my solution is to lean back on a max position. I am tired of following daily, but am still curious as to what all your postulations are?????
(at this occasion: Hi Cuin, hope all is well)
Yes, I do....but after a rs things are funny...so you are right in a few day it might get to reasonable offers both ways (BID over $1, ASK under $5)
Yes the ticker was changed of course and the orders canceled. However, I just opened the platform at 9:25...so realizing the ticker change I re-enterd mny original my sequel of orders (takes several minutes) under the new ticker and started at the lower limits....while I did that it went pop pop and, thus, i sold without actively following then first 1.6 M share trading events.
I fared well with various stocks with this strategy, by the way....and have no problems to suggest it to others.
I could have traded with Fidelity Active trader pro platform...and was considering to open a position yesterday morning. However, the ASK is too high and to get it moving we would need BIDS that are stupidly high (such as above $1) and I am not go to pay more than 50 cents at this time.
So with ETRADE there might be problems (other platforms work) but the reason that it doesn't trade at all is that noone is selling around the 1 dollar range.
well...I would even then keep some since I have 3 orders set to: 0.0099, 0.0199, 0.199 but since I tell you this secret I will adjust those accordingly in case we should meet at these levels...GLTYT
your welcome...It caught me by surprise this morning, too....but I set such orders for all sub penny stocks....and of course set the limit sequences higher from time to time when reasonable (so my personal resistances too...lol)
I did not flip...I have sell limits in place for 500000 shares each (in increments of 0.0002) for 0.0013, 0.0015, 0.0017 etc up to 0.0027 and then in increments of 0.001.
This way YTD desplite the sagging to 0.0005 i"m up in realized gains of ~$2000 and paper gains of an additional $3000 (I bought between 0.0005 and 0.0012 throughout the last 6 month).
I sold 500000 shares each at 0.0013 and 0.0015 (had the limit orders in place for long which giver priority)...but now people lower the ask again (as usual) not realizing that we could go much higher if retailers stop trying to flip at every other increment. [lets leave the lower asks to dilution when it occurs BUT leave your sell limits HIGH for heavens sake
If you could sell in the .03 range it is very very likely that you can enter lower in few weeks from now, though...or even tomorrow (unless trading stops today).
ECIG was an established company in crisis. Here, there is no crisis but its rahter a concept than an established revenue increase.
Sure...good chance that after RM and RS and a price drop to 20% of the last pre RS price it might make its way up again into the $range...then you would be even again, unless you sell now and enter again in two weeks or so.
Any other good ideas???
Thanks/ good luck
I'm glad that I did not open a position....it will certainly fall to a penny in the next days as long as it trades as DGLV....and after RS DGLVD will fall from $2pps another 75-90% to ~20-50 cents
It surly was an ideal playground for flippers and it might go past a dime in the next days when it will be impossible to get filled under 0.1..but to start a position now and think that the pps might go to 0.25 with (ASSUMING THAT IS THE CORRECT NUMBER)an OS of ~50M is faily unlikely...at least less likely than that new positions could easyly fall back to 0.03-0.05, thus loosing 50-70% of their value.
I am trying to figure out if an entry now makes sense. Flipper stocks are enough out there...I am hesitant. My guess is that you guys have an ave of 0.03 or so and smaller positions, so that the excitement for you is justified, though.
oK....i did not find much (resume, successes) to Robert St. though...what was so impressive in his past?
There must be more to this announced deal that we can't get a handle on (unless it is prone to fall through). What would be the role of the current WGE owners?
Even with the deal I don't think it can go into the dimePPS range long term unless the restaurant revenues are directly counting to DGLV revenues?!
Thanks...I'm not new to investing and did well with RNA last year or ECIG before the split for example (did mutual biotech funds for years).
I understand the convenience of WGE getting quick into active trading this way. However, DGLV aquires them for a dollar or what???? How could a reasonable deal look like (WGE has nothing but a possibly competent CEO since january). The share structure may be ok for an OTC and there was no RS?! (what is the AS count?) but there is just nothing they have to offer otherwise.,,or do they?
I am still puzzeled..........why on earth is WEG mingling with DGLV, even being aquired by it....what do they get out of a ticker and bizarre OTC company like DGLV and in return from DGLV???
Thanks for suggestions
my 2nd day looking into this...then why on earth is WEG mingling with DGLV, even being aquired by it....what do they get out of a ticker and bizarre OTC company like DGLV???
Thanks for suggestions
It climbed lately on a relatively low volume which is a good sign. Nevertheless, it could still collapse after the deal since it spiked April 23rd etc so traders were instantly aware.
Whats the AS, OS and float???
Also, what does WGE get out of the deal (I don't understand the mutual benefit here)?
Thanks and nice weekend
Thanks (I can;t PM)....looked into it and it looks very risky esp after the moves up lately...end of april would have been great upon merger/aquis news....but now...IDK?! Which potential news are you referring, too?
Anyways, DRNK should climb further.
I'm almost certain they were.
So do you think they eventually will increase the A/S or simply R/S again (which depending on the situation) might next time truly get into uplisting range....and, thus, would be an excuse again (as suggested by willis in Jan)to R/S per se; now they have the votes to do so, and even though the commoners will suffer once again, by the end of the year the company might actually profit from another R/S?
How about just driving coast to coast and back, puffing on some FINS, nice music, motels in the outback....and reading once again when we are at a $PPS? ECIG is on a self-supporting track IMO.
Actually, this board in total is a disaster...no analysis, no data, all wishful thinking.
They talk about news without even being able to suggest what the hypothetical news could be. Buyout/merger bull etc.
DRNK went dark out of convenience, to hide dilution, have less expenses..and picked a good time when the PPS was up some several hundred percent to not go instantly "sub-sub-penny after SEC disconnect. Since, the company has potential there is a good chance that they climb in OTC land just with future-PRs by their choic (undisturbed by the quantitative facts about finances and OS, AS etc.)
Thanks CUIN
on first glance I do not see anyhting spectacular in progress but I will look further into it.
Also, I forgot but I have a 2cd investment since Dec long term that I trust with respect to risk/reward (MOLG) but I am not comfortable with just these two (esp. if I drop day trading others such as gold stocks or tech completely)
Have a nice day
Good morning CUIN2...
special request here:
S.th. happened in my life that makes it necessary for me to live of my investments (cant afford to play with stocks anymore). As you know I,m long on ECIG. However, this is the only gem with (despite some risk)enormous potential that I feel comfortable to invest in. I'd like to do some DD on at least one more company with such a risk/reward potential. If you have any ideas please PM me.
Again, this is based on the necessity to change my general trading approach from "playing" to investing (such as I do with ECIG but not with my other tickers which I will drop to minimum).
Thanks
no...not at these volumes and orders
