Closed with 400,000 on the bid at 12 cents. Someone was messing with the price trying to pick up a few or maybe cover a big chunk before close.
While it was nice to see a gain at the end and us in the green, it seems to me they drove the price down on very low volume and then put some bids in at the end and picked up 500k-1m shares within the last few minutes as it ran up to 12 cents.
Hope no one sold to them there. I imagine we see the positive move continue tomorrow. My Twitter 3,000 prediction has been slow to materialize but I think we get there within 24 hours.
Have a good evening everyone!
love seeing the afternoon drop. picked up shares for .1075. Seems like a steal.
Expected to see us in the green, but I guess I'm happier going the other way if I can pick up a few on the cheap.
Ok we're down 2% as I write this. My lock pick is we close green.
I've been wrong on everything thus far, but I'm really feeling it.
We'll see if I'm right... 1/2 hour to go!
What will you talk about anymore??? :) :) :)
I kid, I kid.
Only unfortunate thing here is that he did it on a down day. Unlikely to gather much steam at this point, whereas on a green day it might have popped quick and shorts and they have been caught with their shorts down.
That said... given that it wasn't necessarily optimal timing... it seems that it was important to go on and say it because of what is coming next. If he had really wanted to make a splash with this, he would have timed it better... but the fact that he didn't means that this isn't really the big or good news, but rather just a precursor to other things, that must be coming very soon.
GLTA!
YEAHHHHH!
Agree... And soon.
Hiring people and manufacturing in 8 facilities... We are looking at days/weeks rather than months.
I continue to be wrong about price movements. I thought we'd see a big run today. Thought we'd see high volume too.
Nick's Tweets last night were exciting. Nick's timeline for big news is weeks rather than months. Overall market is down a bit and I think we're being held up by that.
Exciting times ahead. I added a (very) tiny bit more this AM... just on principle!!
Great! Thank you :)
I guess the more rigorous the process, the better for us as it makes the moat that much wider, and we get the chance to buy some discounted shares while we wait.
My bubble is not burst. I (by no skill of my own) came out ahead on this one. A huge blessing I did not deserve but am grateful for.
You are correct on all other counts. I thought the lawsuit was good and it was not. I thought there'd be money from it and there was not.
I don't know that I'd conclude that it was a 'scam' per se, but the effects are the same either way... no money.
I stand corrected and you were right. I appreciate your past warnings and to be clear, I have no plans to add any shares at these prices.
If you are truly here for altruistic means to warn people off and save them money, then you are owed a debt of gratitude.
Good luck to you and everyone else on here.
Same response for anything. MedRecycler is 'expected' but as you've brought up recently, there is some opposition.
Yeah, I 'expect' the UL stuff to work out. I also expected that when my child was born I'd be happy... but that doesn't minimize the fact that I was happy when it did happen :)..
We do a lot of waiting around here. Med/UL. Some of these things take years. I expect both to work out, but will still be very excited when they do. Those two sentiments can co-exist!
Right now there are none of our panels for sale.. At all. My guess is that we're waiting for the UL certification to make a splash.
Could be some large clients wouldn't be able to use them without UL.
So... I don't believe there are any big/major concerns with there being any safety issues. Rather, I believe it's a step we've deemed important. Probably some of the Durango stuff is contingent upon it.
Not a bad time to add if one believes this is the case.
GLTA!
This summer, we will know one way or another if MedRecycler is approved. I believe it will be approved, but either way.. some point soon, uncertainty will be removed and we'll know. That clarity should be reflected in the price.
I don't know UL timelines.. but at some point, we won't be guessing on that either. I happen to believe that with 8 facilities producing, Nick would know that certification must be imminent. That's just a guess though. Either way, I believe we'll know something within a few months.
It's been quiet around here all week. I thought things would be different based on Friday's truck thing.
Oh well.
We have 8 facilities producing panels apparently, and UL certification should be here soon. MedRecycler should get approval and get fired up sometime early summer.
My guess is that some of the normally vocal folks may be quiet because they're buying more.
Either way, I think most serious holders aren't going to get caught up in the day to day whims of the market. Yeah there will be down days, yeah there will be opposition to MedRecycler. We may have to wait for UL.
Price could do anything with all the uncertainty... but we have a couple of 'certain' things coming and if all goes to plan.. price will take care of itself. GLTA!
I hadn't read this until this morning. Expected a lot more. This is nothing new, not sure where the concern is coming from. A few misinformed ( not their fault... just stating the reality) citizens are not going to sway DEM.
My favorite part of all of this was part of a qoute from Nick:
"Meanwhile, emissions will be minimal, equal to only four cars per year -- a tiny fraction of those generated by a nearby heavy industrial facility, and an educational institution across the street in East Greenwich."
As we move towards the summer, we may see significant price swings as sentiment ebbs and flows. The opportunity I see, and my plan, is to simply hold through that since I believe the ultimate result will be a positive outcome.
GLTA !!!
Management taking a month salary in shares is a nice move... but that's just one month.
I do find it interesting that the private equity company put money in and got some shares priced at $10, and now execs are taking shares at the same price.
If there are 750,000 shares out there, this means that they value this company at $7.5 million+.
If they can get some Premier League contracts it could very well soar past that, but there's obviously the risk that that does not happen.
I wish everyone here the best.
I enjoy pursuing a just result and corrective any narratives around it.. Nothing lost, and if one person is encouraged to see that someone else is confident and hopeful, then it wasn't time wasted.
A reasonable concern, but until we see numbers, I'm assuming that we're not putting a lot of resources into trucks that could/should be allocated elsewhere.
As I understand it, we are waiting on all of those other things. UL Certification, MedRecycler approval. I agree with the concept that you don't want to do too much or spread things too thin.... but that's all hypothetical right now. You and I have no idea what Nick spends each day doing...
I'd rather err on the side of being a visionary. Nick has 8 facilities producing our panels (apparently) and banks are approving long-term loans. As long as this stuff is happening, then all we can do is speculate that we *may* be doing too much... It's certainly possible, but Nick has guided us well thus far. I believe that after 100x gains in a month, he has earned himself the right.
Even if he hadn't... I believe this is a logical offshoot/extension of the Med facility. Where the concept seemed profitable before... I balked at the idea that each place could take 2-4 years to set up. Now that's no longer a concern.
Overall, I'd say that if we see a point where a specific area of the business suffers because too many things are going on... call it out... until then, I believe Nick has earned the benefit of the doubt.
In an ideal world, yes.
However, grand opening of MedRecycler is going to get a lot of eyes on us. I'd prefer not to sit on out hands until that happens. Let's have our additional offerings up and ready to go, and take advantage of the free advertising and publicity that will come from going live.
I don't believe we've lost any money from a couple of tweets about trucks, and because we are depending on another entity for MedRecycler anyway.. it's not like we need to be more focused... There's nothing to do right now anyway except wait.
I say... strike while the iron is hot.. and it's warming up!
Have a good day sir!
I went back and looked. Yes, all my words. Not sure if I should be flattered or offended that you don't think I'm capable of cranking that all out on my own! LOL
UOIP shares have value. It's the money we'd get from the settlement, reduced by a factor of risk since Billy is trying to commit fraud.
There is certainly an amount I'd be willing to pay for UOIP shares right now, and it's not 0. I'd buy the entire company, for example, for $0.0001 per share. That's all theoretical as we can't buy or sell.. but don't take the delisting to mean shares don't have value.
Billy is in for a rude awakening if he thinks he can just let paperwork lapse and then that somehow means he owns the company. That's not how this works.
I assume he's smarter than that... My guess is he thinks he'll be difficult and then we'll just settle for pennies on the dollar because we should be happy to get something... and then he walks away with more than he otherwise would have. Unfortunately for him, it's just not going to work like that in this case. A miscalculation on his part. We have quite a few people here who care immensely and are going to take measures to ensure that justice is done. My goal and hope is that he ends up worse off than if he hadn't tried to cheat us in the first place. For many, myself included, this is personal. Getting money will be nice... but justice will be even more satisfying.
GLTA!
Man was I ever wrong about today. I thought we'd see huge volume and price take off. That was short-lived!
I am not great at predicting moves here, that's why I'm a holder and not a trader.
GLTA
It was all my own words as far as I recall.
Not sure what you allege is false. If there's something specific you disagree with, let me know.
We own shares in UOIP and as you can see from even Billy's waterfall, UOIP is clearly in the process. It's mentioned in the TRO many times is it not? UOIP is no more out of business than Chanbond is. If we win the lawsuit, we have a right to get paid.
Billy is welcome to walk away, just not with our money. We've established over 50% of the ownership here on the board and we may just kick him out at some point. He'd have a right to get his share of UOIP's returns based on the shares he owns, although much of that would probably have to be used for fees, as I'm sure we'll be awarded costs in any suit against him.
Are you really suggesting that because Billy let UOIP lapse and didn't file that this somehow just allows him to keep everything now? Surely you don't think that's right or legal.
It's kind of quiet here. Trucks are 'old' news (Friday afternoon before a long weekend) and we've had time to digest it, but the market has not. Opening bid looks to be $0.15 and we may see more of an increase as people wake up.
A price move today, even for those of us not selling, would be a great way to draw more attention to this new offering and our company in general. I'm hoping to see 3,000 Twitter followers before noon.
GLTA!!
Settings are private ( it has been private for a while) and is not searchable so someone would need to be invited to hear about it or get in it.
I reject 5-10 requests a week, mostly spam. Those should stop now since it's not searchable.
I can't state that it's 100% vetted, so if there is sensitive information I don't know that it needs to be posted there for everyone to see. Whether info is on the FB page or not... probably best to be in the hands of one person everyone trusts... rather than out there for everyone to see.
Sure.. why not :)
This company is outside the box so I don't think any of us would be here if we didn't like the outside the box thinking.
I think we'd have to partner with another established waste management company rather than do the pick-up piece ourselves.(Because I don't think it would be effective or feasible to use these trucks for the pick up piece.. I think they're designed with the idea that the waste would, in bulk.. be 'there' and available to be processed.)
Last year is last year. It's all a sunk cost, in the past. We know the factual and mandated timeline we are looking at for MedRecycler right now... so whether we waited 1 year or 5 or 10 to get to this point. It doesn't matter.
We are in a comment period and we've got a hearing coming up, after which we'll get a decision within 90 days ( I believe much quicker, but that's really the only variable.)
Whatever happened in the past has no bearing on the timeline that we're looking at right now.. except that all the past work is what got us to this point
I think most folks have the patience to wait, especially given the recent gains here the the long term loan extension. No price predictions for Tuesday but I will go on and guess a big rise in volume.
We'll see!!!!
We don't know what 'stage' this is in, but I just don't see the downside. We all know that MedRecyler is on a timeline and there's nothing Nick can do to change that. The comment period is the comment period, we just have to wait it out.
In the meantime, I see no downside to mobile ( and in fact it's very exciting). What downside are you seeing?
I don't believe funding will be an issue. Bank extended loans for many millions for MedREcylcer Any cost here would be far lower and I see no reason for lending entities to be less excited about this.
Yes, if one comes to your neighborhood without any notice or permits, of course it would a short visit.... but I think we all know that Nick would get any necessary approvals. This option opens us up to an extraordinary number of towns, cities, medical facilities, municipalities, whatever. If one poses too much of a challenge.. Easy to move on to the next place. There is going to be some low hanging fruit.. Places that would love to have us... and these trucks can be parked at landfills or out of the way. Possibilities are endless.
Why would this be a contingency plan if MedRecycler is not approved? This seems to be such a good option that I'd like to see it go forward regardless of what happens with the one MedRecycler facility. I still think West Warwick will be a great demonstration/flagship/proof of concept, but the trucks just take it to a whole new level.
I'm not clear why you think it's silly. Needing EPA or local approval seems no more a barrier than what it would be for a permanent facility, and my guess is... much less.
Long term I'm not sure what the numbers are or what it will do to the stock price. but in the short term this could generate quite a bit of interest. I would not want to be going into TUesday open short, as anything could happen..
Have a good weekend sir!
FOR REAL!
This is a dangerous stock to short. I would be sweating dollars this weekend if I were them.
I wonder if any hit pieces/posts will come late Monday early Tuesday to try to help people get out while they can. I have seen Reddit posts where people pay for 'DD' from the popular people there... Offer $1000 just to see their DD early, stuff like that.
Can we take a moment to recognize how awesome these mobile units are???
We've seen a lot of awesome things around here lately so it's kind of becoming the norm but we should take nothing for granted.
but we have all been sitting around talking about replicating facilities and getting bonds and such using MedRecycler as a model. Nick blew past all that. He's 10 years ahead of where we were all thinking.
Crazy to be along for this ride. Also... I usually love holidays, but I hate having to wait another day to see how the market reacts.
Have a good weekend everyone!
You know what.. Good points there. Thanks for writing that out.
I feel good about this investment either way, but that makes it even more so.
Thanks again for taking the time. Have a good weekend sir!
No disagreement here. You've been right on everything so far so I'm always glad to see your optimism.
My only thing, which I still stand by, is that I don't believe the bank news is as good as UL. Does that mean it's bad? No. It's great! Does that mean UL won't happen? No.. hopefully soon. My only point is that I think some of the price moves we saw this week and will see next week are going to be speculation-related.
You, me, and many others here are holding through all that so it won't matter either way. Had it come this week, the price may be 50 cents or higher right now. But.. if we're not selling and holding for dollars, then the order of things really doesn't matter a whole lot. So, I do believe that if the loan extension was the 'news'... that the price is not as high as if something else has been 'the news'. Long term the timing of all this good stuff isn't going to matter.
Congrats on your 2009 Novartis buy. That's really impressive.
Agree! I've seen tweets and reddits from people asking how they can buy them. Long term... we obviously don't want to be the kind of company that has a great product that people don't even know how to buy. It's a nice 'problem' to have... and I assume that once UL stuff comes through and once we have a nice inventory built up from the 8 facilities we have producing the panels, we should hear much more.
Buyers now are getting in before we've really made a splash in the market. I mean.. how many penny stocks can say that they have a product that people want to pay for but we're not selling them??? All of this should change soon.
I believe those who got in before that time will be very glad they did.
GLTA!
I agree. Huge news, not disputing it..
I just think it's not as big as UL news. While the loan extension was was great to hear.. I think if the UL certification had come through, I don't think anyone would have doubted that we'd get the extension. Even now, Nick has 34 million shares he could sell to raise capital if he really needed. If the banks were extending us before, no reason not to now.
So, it was good news, especially the long term nature of it (as opposed to the month to month we were doing before) but I think it's just not as good as some had hoped.
To be clear, the UL thing is a 'when' not 'if'. I'm a long term holder like you, so whether it's tomorrow or in a month or two or whatever isn't going to make a difference over the long run. I like to see the price go up,.... but a few months from now, whatever the price was today won't really matter except for those who bought/sold.
Absoultely.. It was very good news, don't get me wrong.. I was glad to see that huge vote of confidence, from the lenders, in what we're doing.
I just mean.. I think many, myself included, were hoping that this news was not about a 'secondary' financial aspect of the company, but about UL or something that's fundamental to the core business operations.
Whether UL was what Nick was referring to or not... hopefully we get some word on that sooner rather than later. It's been tough for me to nail down a timeline and next steps and all. I don't think we'd be producing so much if we didn't know it was coming... but it's still hard to wait!
Natural to see a little profit taking heading into a long weekend. Is it a good decision? Maybe not... but no big surprise.
Given that R/S is such a topic, a catalyst ( when we get the facility approved and the bonds go through) will be to announce concurrent with the bond thing that the R/S is officially off the table and the board is revoking that.
If we're taking a hit now from it being a discussion point, then imagine how much more we'll pop when it's officially off the table. We'll know one way or another by August... I'm thinking sooner.
I'm a little disappointed that the 'news' Nick was referring to may very well be the loan extension that was already announced. We may trend downwards until there is more, as I think people were expecting something more. Oh well. It will come, I can be patient.
Have a great weekend all!
I'm in for whatever we want to do. Nothing to lose!
We just need to take over and appoint a new CEO. If we have a majority, what's to stop us?
Billy's golden parachute will be that he can keep the new company he created to siphon off all our funds ( we wouldn't send funds, of course :) )
I would love for BA to be on the board as well!
That would be great.
Worst case... we pursue this and then have something else to seek remedy for when he ignores us.
Great point. We certainly have enough votes to get a seat on the board... and maybe even to take over if we could get Diedre and the inventors to vote their shares.
Maybe we just need to get everyone who's given Tony a share could to indicate their support, and then send a letter saying we have 30%, 40%, whatever amount of support, and we demand a seat on the board. If he doesn't reply, then maybe we complain to the state. I mean.. We do own this company after all.... We (collectively) have just as much power as Billy, if not more.
Anyone know how we can force a vote?
Thank you for this insight. That is very thin indeed.
Sounds like someone is trying to drive the price down and keep it there for long enough to get some asks coming in above it. Price my be low... but that's not a reflection of where most owners value ( or would be willing to sell) their shares.
Now you make me wish I had $12k! :) :)
