helpful...thanks for posting the laptop review....something however tells me that our local beloved bashers wont say a word about the review
Sincerely,
Jas
AWK...re Greg/Larry Dudash/TREND1...Amazing how these people who believe we are going nowhere outside of bankrupcy are spending as much time and effort posting and monitoring these Wavx boards. Larry Dudash/Trend1 has infact submitted 11 of the last 14 posts on the Yahoo thread since yesterday. What are these people so concerned about?????? I predict that as the DELL launch date approaches...we will see a great deal of strength under our bid....we shall see
Sincerely,
Jas
Helpful...GEEZ....can't even have some fun on a slow day on call....ok fine....I'll stop playing around and be a good boy )
Sincerely,
Jas
Greg s...Since DOowop posted...
1) DELL is bundling ETS lite to the tune of ~.50 cents/unit
2) Gateway is bundling ETS lite
3) US Army/DOD has decided to REQUIRE TPM 1.2 in ALL future purchases
4) NTT data has come on board(MOU)
5) Microsoft has finally decided that TPMs will be necessary for laptops/pcs to be VISTA compliant
6) Seagate has come out in a PUBLIC manner to talk about their relationship with WAVE...mind you...Wave has not in a pr format in the manner that Seagate recently did.
But you're right....same old same old noise )))
Sincerely or not,
Jas
Helpful....re DELLs COMMENTS... I was somewhat concerned whether or not DELL would include Wave in their pr introducing their new products as well as their new security intiatives. Having an 8K is nice....but its not the samething as being bluelighted with DELL. However, after the recent webcast....I think our chances are better than even that we will infact be included in their pr.
Sincerely,
Jas
YO...GUV...Why are you confusing the issue))))))Didn't you know....it's a wavoids psychotic dream that we are involved with DELL
)))) Come on Guv...get on the same page...will ya?
Sincerely,
Jas
GregS...Thanks for your opinion....and I have no problem with ending this line....However, one has to admit that there is a HUGE difference between Wavoids making assumptions about a potential partner vs REPS from DELL talking UP WAVE SYSTEMS!!!OH...BTW...do you have ANYTHING to say about the US Army/DOD making TPM1.2 a REQUIREMENT?
Sincerely or not,
Jas
Gregs...PLEASE point out past posts in which we had reps from a MAJOR THIRD company talking up Wave for the debut of a MAJOR initiative in a WEBCAST to their clients....I would be very interested in reading such a post. ONCE again...your feet or is it your fingers are shuffling faster than ALIs rope a dope ...for some unknown reason...YOU once again appear AFRAID to address the question I asked....WHY WERE THE REPS FROM DELL TALKING UP WAVE SYSTEMS IN THEIR RECENT WEBCAST???
Sincerely or not,
Jas
GregS...there is a HUGE difference between the past and what we are talking about. Once again...why are you so AFRAID of talking about what the reps from DELL said about their upcoming security initiative....coming to you ~3/29-31/06 as per their webcast.
Sincerely or not,
Jas
Greg...Why are you so AFRAID of addressing the question I asked?? It's not very complicated...is it? or are you suggesting that the Dell reps know MORE about their upcoming security initiative than you obviously do
Sincerely or not,
Jas
GregS...re we'll know soon.....You're correct...we will know shortly...but why don't you comment upon what the reps from Dell said about Wave on their recent webcasts....We're interested in your thoughts about these reps from Dell and their upcoming security initiatives.
Jas
GregS....Does the share price corrolate with what the reps from Dell were saying about Wave during their recent webcasts??Thinking outside of the box is a good thing sometimes
Jas
Weby...PM me your contact info....I'm unable to pm you.
Sincerely,
Jas
CPA...re taken in by the hype.....Point out the hype in the following:
1) TPMs are here to stay....VISTA requires it....DOD now REQUIRES them.
2) Dell devoted a great deal of time during their recent webcast talking about WAVE
3) Gateway recently rolled out their new SECURITY initiative...and the FIRST thing they mentioned were TPMs and the software needed...EMBASSY TRUST SUITE
4) Seagate is rolling out the next generation of FDE drives and have talked about Wave in their PRs
Help me out here....WHERE's THE HYPE??? Did the pr from the other day talk about our relationship with DELL or Gateway by name??? WHERE WAS THE HYPE???
BTW....I'm one of the people who just picked up some more shares at the PP price today.
Sincerely,
Jas
AWK...Thanks for the extra DD!!
Sincerely,
Jas
re flat quarter and share price....Wow Andy...I'm really surprised at you. Heck...I figured you would have gone for the jugular on your reply to Unix.
Unixguy...anyone who truly believes that the current share price doesn't ALREADY factor in that revenues so far have been nothing to write home about hasn't been paying attention. I predict that the results from last quarter will be a NON event!!! People are buying this stock not for last quarter...or even this quarter but rather the potential rampup in revenues for the remainder of the year. Some may say yeah yeah yeah...we've heard this before. Tell me the last time you saw the following....
1) DOD placing TPM1.2 as a REQUIREMENT in their new systems
2) Dell talking about Wave in a WEBCAST...mind you...this was not Wave talking about the ETS...IT WAS DELL! BTW...their products roll out on 3/29/06
3) Gateway rolls out their NEW security initiative and the FIRST thing they talk about is the TPM and the software that goes with it...oh yeagh....something like Wave's Embassy.
4) Seagate puts out a pr saying that their next generation of hard drives...their most important product on which their future products will be based upon just happens to include something like Wave's Embassy software.
This stock will react to events that position Wave to accelerate revenue growth...not what took place PRIOR to the above mentioned events.
Sincerely or not,
Jas
Cosmo....WOW....couple of weeks ago you were bashing away...and now you have heard a rumor about the upcoming CC. AMAZING!!! There is a word for you.........
Sincerely or not,
Jas
Escrow56....nice post. The company appears to be in the perfect position to take advantage of the upcoing revolution in the computing industry. In the past few days... we have had both Gateway and Seagate talk about our contribution WITHOUT wave throwing out a pr. Lets take a look at the Gateway pr....Gateway was roling out their NEW security suite of products. In the pr...they talk about a number of products...but WHICH product did they start their pr with....TPM...and then immediately discussed the Embassy software. We weren't mentioned in the middle of their new security initiative....nor at the end of it....we were mentioned in the beginning. Today, Seagate discussed our product in their most important new line of products. FDE will be their most important product in the next 12-24 months IMHO. These are very telling points as to the significance that our products will have in the upcoming trusted computing revolution. Our share price will move well in advance of us breaking even...a major part of this will be the media picking up on the notion that Wave will play an important role in the next big thing in the computing sector....fwiw
Sincerely,
Jas
24601....Could you PM me your phone number...
Thanks,
Jas
gowave...in order for the average wavoid to understand our current share price...one needs to read your post. I sincerely believe that the context of your post is exactly what is holding our share price down. It's not your responsibility to change your opinion...but rather the companys ability to generate revenues that needs to be demonstrated. Having said the above...I think that for the average wavoid...the current share price offers us an opportunity that very few investors receive. The market has discounted WAVX for the exact reasons that Gowave posted. It is our responsibility as investors to take advantage of this moment in time. For those who say that nothing has changed over the past ten years...may I suggest the following:
1) The recent disclosure of Dell and Gateway signing agreements with wave. People should be asking WHY both of them are willing to pay Wave a fee on a per unit basis in an industry with tight margins?
2) DODs decision to INCLUDE tpm 1.2 as a minimum requirement is HUGE. OEMs that were only selling tpm 1.1s or not selling them at all have now been SHUT OUT regarding selling any PC/laptops to the DOD. They are being FORCED to now accelerate their adoption of tpm 1.2s or risk being locked on the outside looking in regarding future sales to the DOD.
3) Seagate will have a trusted drive in the market by summer. Although initially, the trusted drives will be in the high end models...they will eventually be included in all of their drives within 24-36 months. Their volumes are NORTH of 80 million units/year. BTW...it took three years of collabiration between seagate and Wave to get to this point. Does anyone think that any company could develop the suite of products that compete with Wave and then displace wave from this relationship after Wave has devoted the last three years building the next big thing for seagate?
4) NTT is a HUGE coup for Wave and people just don't get it. To put in other words...in order for people to understand the significance of this relationship...one first has to understand whose chips are CURRENTLY included into the products of the asian oems. It's INFINEON .....FWIW.
A few things to think about...
Sincerely,
Jas
24....why on earth do you bother giving TRUSTCO a real response. For someone to say that yesterdays 8k news was "crummy" is truly unbelievable. If people can not see the significance of yesterdays announcement....then.....well I'll let people fill in the blanks.
Sincerely,
Jas
re...DODcontract..."Under the contract, Wave will provide consulting services in connection with a study to evaluate the implementation of trusted computing solutions fot the government."....FOLKS....I think wave has turned into that FOX that guarded that chicken coop....IMHO! Lets see what Wave will suggest the government needs to implement trusted computing.LOL
Sincerely,
Jas
Trustco.....PLEASE...tell us all that you used the recent explosion in volume to get out of this pathetic stock.....PLEASE!!! Wave is in DELL/Gateway/HP?/STM/Intel/ATMEL/.....You're right(lol)....so why not just dump?
Sincerely or not,
Jas
AWK...re Dutton....I'm not sure WHY anyone is bothered by what they are saying. Here is a company that does NOT know anymore than any of us....and they come out with a report...big deal!! Take a look at their 12 month target of 2.00.....they said that their original estimates for 2006 was a profit of .20 cents/share. Does anyone on this planet think that Wave will have a PE of 10 once it starts to make a profit??? Think about it folks.....Dutton is GUESSING....FWIW BTW....all of this could change in an instant....what happens if Dell is the big winner on friday?
Sincerely,
Jas
re broadcom connection....that was with Marvin Winkler....who was the CEO of SSP solutions....fwiw SSPX has subsequently been merged with Safelink.
Sincerely,
Jas
GoKite....You're absolutely correct! I agree with you...
Sincerely,
Jas
Go-kitesurf...reCMF....Although I agreewith you regarding the future of Wave...and the potential ramifications of the recent prs....I would argue that CMF actually has been very intelligent in how he has managed his trading account in recent years. I would hazard to guess that his returns on this equity have been greater than mine or most longs....up to this point. As they say however...past performance does not guarantee future returns
Sincerely,
Jas
Greg...re Patent/VIIV....Thanks for your input....it reveals a great deal.
Jas
Greg...re patents...Just out of curiosity....do you have any idea as to which patent I'm talking about?
Jas
Good evening everyone,
re VIIV....Recently Intel and Morgan Freeman entered into a joint venture in which they will allow the consumer to download newly released films (ie those that are still in the theaters) and view them at home. This brings us to the following questions:
1) A few years ago Wave was granted a patent in which content could be downloaded in an encrypted format and stored into a hard drive and then decrypted and played on a trusted device. Does anyone else remember this patent? Would the above mentioned joint venture play into this patent?
2) Given all the recent hype of VIIV and how Intel wants to play a major role in the Media centric PC....what are the possible ramifications to WaveXpress??
A few questions to chew upon on a Sunday evening? Would be interested in any thoughts.
Sincerely,
Jas
VH...re. Vista article....Amazing how the author forgot about a small insignificant detail......the requirement for a tpm 1.2 to take full advantage of Vistas security features???
Sincerely,
Jas
Barge....Very NICE find!! Nice comments about the types of software that will see a ramp-up in the near future.
Sincerely,
Jas
Micro...thanks for the response. Hopefully, with the financing now behind us (excet for the re-distribution phase of the PP shares) we will see a better response to the next major announcement. It's too bad regarding the timing of the last Dell SEC filing....because I truly believe it was THE most important development in years.
Sincerely,
Jas
XAM....GOOD TO HEAR FROM YOU! Hope everything is well.
Sincerely,
Jas
Micro....WOW!! I don't have the slightest idea as to where to start. I can't believe that there are people on this thread who are unable to comprehend a simple fact....one can be a LONG and still question the actions of management. I'm not going to speak for others...but I will simply say that I own well into the SIX figures and have been long for EIGHT years. I'm not blaiming anyone for my decision to purchase my shares. The decision to buy was MINE alone....end of discussion. I don't wine about the direction of the SP except when it relates to financing. Why?....well...the answer should be OBVIOUS to ANY shareholder.
I have always attempted to take a balanced approach to things. Give credit where credit is deserved and suggest alternatives when things are NOT being done in an acceptable manner(IMHO). Some on this thread believe that if anyone is critical of management....then they should simply divest themselves from their shares. Do you have any idea how rediculous that suggestion is? We're all invested in this stock because we have all bought into the vision of trusted computing. We have placed our bets....but that doesn't mean that we have signed away our RIGHTS as shareholders.
Sincerely,
Jas
Wavemillionaire...re Wave 5.0 vs 2.0....I think you might be confusing Dell version 2.0 vs Wave 5.0. The numbering system is different...FWIW
Sincerely,
Jas
Wildman...re finacing...Lets call it as it is...Although SKS and company have done a very good job at positioning Wave to take advantage of the TC movement...they have done a HORRIBLE job at determining HOW to raise ENOUGH funds as well as HOW much they will need to operate if the WORST case unfolds for an extended period of time (ie 12 months instead of the 3 months) without giving the company away to the sharks. The simple fact that we received such a muted response to what I believe was the MOST important deal in our history is testimony to the ineptitude that exists in Lee regarding this issue. The buck has to stop with SKS. Either get a NEW CFO or hire a COO to HELP run the company on a day to day basis.
Sincerely,
Jas
Good afternoon Doma,
re DELL and share price...I believe we did not see a significant run-up on the Dell news for a number of reasons.
1) We were facing the prospects of a financing deal....therefore, there was the overhead resistance of the prospects of additional shares coming onto the market.
2) The market has seen bundling deals before. Obviously, you and I are able to see the difference between this deal and lets say the Intel deal from a couple of years ago. The street NEEDS to see a revenue stream developing before they will extrapolate the potential of the deal. I think this WILL happen...but it may take up to a couple of quarters IMHO.
I think if we get similar deals from the other PC oems....the street may...I repeat...MAY decide that the revenue stream WILL happen and start to pile on BEFORE the actual stream starts.
Sincerely,
Jas
DRM....Good to see you again. I just re-read your post earlier this year regarding Yaya....can't believe its almost been a year.
Sincerely,
Jas
CM...re SKS... I agree with you 100%.....FWIW. I also believe that Wave has NEVER been in a better position in regards to potential success...and it's unbelievable that this was the best way to raise additional financing.
Sincerely,
Jas
