aaah the beauty of the typewriter.. I always sucked at it so it was easier for me to handwrite my stuff. It still takes me 5 minutes to type a five second post but my keyboard here still messes with me. The work one is better, but these days I'm not typing too much either... just filling in forms.
yep, I just gathered them throughout the married times so I have a bunch. One thing I'll never need to replace. Sometimes I sharpen a smaller one when I'm having a cut of meat but otherwise I'm in your camp.. no need for the trouble.
Well it was my friend's father but still the same concept. Once I got to sixth grade I stopped writing in cursive completely and used all block letters for every paper I wrote. Now, I couldn't ever imagine how I could write in cursive. I even have my own little flair with block letters that I learned from drafters and architects but they are entirely legible. I have a real hard time even reading cursive now lol.
My signature is my own and nobody can question it for the past 35 years or so.
I have two whole sets, maybe twenty knives but I don't use hardly any of them without rotating my stock. I have numerous butter knives also but that's not here or there.
I have sharpening stones that I will use sometimes but I have no idea why you need a knife that could slice a hair endlong. I like to hit the larger ones on the stones any time I'm cutting a melon but something smaller like a fruit doesn't need to be that sharp.... my fingers are important to me.
When did you ever decide that it was your right to involve yourself in other families' decisions?
When I was maybe 10 or 11 years old my friend's father signed stuff that was entirely illegible. I asked him why he signed like that and he told me that it was so nobody could forge his signature. It was his and his only. I thought it was pretty damn good idea so I eventually adopted a creative one of my own and have used it ever since.
Never any problems on official documents. LOL except for one time...
My ex hired a notary public to sign off on our final divorce agreement which was like a frigggin mortgage times 12.. She scolded me like a third grade teacher for the way I was signing my name and I damn near kicked her out of what already was my house. I told her and my ex-wife both to go pound sand and the ex finally agreed with me to get through the process but I couldn't believe that woman was trying to teach me penmanship like she's never seen a signature before..
the deal is not inked yet. The Bears purchased an 80+ acre plot in Arlington Heights a couple years ago and demolished the horse racing track there but ran into trouble with the local people with their plans for expansion outside of the stadium. They might be trying to play both sides of the fence but we can all agree that we really need a domed facility
Even the early spring and late fall are tough on our baseball and soccer teams.
LOL, well to be fair some of those pubs served pretty good food and the conversation there was a bit more lively than a boring old restaurant, so I guess it served a dual purpose.
I'd hate to break this to you but everything that passes through the House and Senate these days cannot do so without bi-partisan support. The majorities are too slim.
The President is not a king. He does not control the markets or what happens in your individual states legislatures. He does not control what foreign governments decide but can only insert influence. You keep prattling on about how the candidates are so bad but you never give reasons why.
I can argue that one of them is an outright criminal who is trying his damndest to turn our constitution on its head. I can also argue that the other one has done more for the working class in our country in the last 50 years or so.
It's funny watching people complain about student debt grants when just a few years ago, trillions went to PPP "loans" that hardly anyone ever payed back.
You need to cry a deeper river.
How do you know they are all democrats? I don't see any voter registrations tattooed on their foreheads. At the end of the day, if you don't want to go, then don't and it's none of your business otherwise.
It's not like they rounded up children from a playground somewhere and dragged them in to see a man dressed like a clown aiming their personal views at them. The big honking sign and all the adults in the room are pretty much a glowing truth that those parents all new what they signed up for..
I don't hear any of you complaining when one person who doesn't even have kids can leverage a war on grade school libraries, or public ones for that matter. The battle cry is that "it is the parents decision!", well these parents made their decision so get over it and stay the hell out of those people's lives..
And don't assume anyone involved is part of any political party, that's just childish. Show us on the conix doll where the man in drag hurt you.
yep, and then after I got to my destinations I'd always have a litany of useless information to share at whatever pub I found myself in. Definitely good ice breaking material lol and you can learn a lot about the locals by their responses.
LOL when I used to fly a lot, I'd buy those rags and read them from cover to cover on the plane and just laugh my brains out. It kept me in a lighthearted mood because flying can be a little nerve-racking sometimes.
Well they were only considered as Martians.... nobody really knows where their home planet really is. There were no follow up stories or interviews with the actual space aliens, much to my chagrin, so there might still be some hope for you.
nope, just sharp enough. Extra sharpness makes me nervous. I have a bad habit of paying attention to 20 things at once which might work around saws and stuff because they have guards but kitchen knives are my nemesis.
LOL no chance. Me and very sharp objects never agreed with each other. I could fire off a list of kitchen accidents when I was kid that would make your head spin.. Salad making at the banquet halls was the worst until they taught me how to tuck my fingers. I got seven stitches in my forearm once because I ran a pizza slicer underneath it while I was holding the top edge of the pie..
It's still a wonder how I graduated to wood and metal saws and still have all my limbs intact.
LOL I didn't watch one episode so I'm going to have to put it on my summer rerun list. Though I'm not too interested in beheadings it could teach me a few things about the culture and how the Ginsu knives obtained their popularity.
there's nothing tasteful about a beheading that I can think of. I'm more interested in the "pillowing" part.
I guess we both need to do a little soul searching to figure out how we were so horribly wronged. 🤣

LOL I was sure that aliens from Mars were being born and bred here and trying to abduct the women of our country to repopulate their home planet.
I'm very disappointed too.
That clown Roman was the one who initiated the suit against Fani Willis in GA. Funny that he's now been indicted on the other side of the country.. I wonder what he's going to come up with now to say he was individually targeted by the DA. Maybe he can say Fani is bisexual and was sleeping with the state AG there too.
Hopefully they will get a decent judge that won't buy into the bullshit anymore.
yep, I worked there lol and that space looks very familiar to me. I had a hand in installing those screens and ceilings. They still have the same old ass furniture they used to but apparently it works for them. I had no idea at the time what we were doing it for and to keep military contracts, you know better than to ask questions. We trashed tons of old Tube TV's on that project.
You'd be surprised at some of the stuff we did, even up at Great Lakes and some spots downtown that I'm not at liberty to disclose. They pictured this one so that's kind of cool. Brings back memories.
I've been on site at damn near all of these and some that nobody knows about, along with lots of three letter agencies' parking spots in the state. How II got and kept my security clearance will always be a mystery to me.

LOL first presidential election I voted in. These cards are certainly a throwback. I never saw them at the time but kind of fun to revisit. I hope she posts some more.
Alright, it’s been a long day in what’s already a long week. Time for some lighthearted, nerdy political fun. My pal @DCHomos got hold of a box of Election ‘92 trading cards and gifted me some. I kid you not. These are 32 years old. They’ve never been opened. Join me…

We have a senator in Illinois who was a helicopter pilot that lost both her legs during the middle east conflict and she thinks Vance is an asshole and completely supports sending aid to Ukraine. I stand with her as she's able to walk on artificial limbs.
well you need to take into consideration the almost one trillion a year the pentagon already receives. What those charts show are only supplemental to ukraine. Just a guess as I'm not a hawk.
I saw a story about the actual totals of russian armaments and the reason why they are having to outsource from North Korea, China and Iran. Fun fact, we have more modern planes and tanks that are decommissioned and sitting in graveyards now than Russia has in use. We absolutely dominate at seapower, it's not even close. Their graft and corruption has depleted most of their industrial capabilities.
JD Vance is a moron and the only reason he's an elected official is because he is representing Ohio and has an R behind his name, someone should tell him that his state is a recipient of a lot of that money ....

It's okay for you to get an addadictomy. We really don't care.

Platform
In mid-July 2022 she started a GoFundMe called "Imperfectly Me", aimed at providing a platform for detransitioners.[2]
Lawsuit
On November 9, 2022, Cole filed a 90-day notice of intent to sue against the healthcare company Kaiser Permanente along with the individual endocrinologist, psychiatrist, and plastic surgeon involved in her treatment. Cole was represented by Harmeet Dhillon (the chief executive of the Center for American Liberty) and the law firm LiMandri & Jonna LLP.[37][9] The lawsuit[38] was filed in the San Joaquin County Superior Court in Manteca on February 22, 2023.[9][39]
According to the lawsuit, Cole's care included "off label" treatment and "amounted to medical experimentation." According to the suit, Cole was not given adequate information to provide informed consent to her hormone therapy and later developed joint pain, weak bone density, and ongoing urinary tract infections.[3][40] Cole says that doctors did not inform her parents (or other parents) of alternative, less invasive treatments like psychiatric care, and that they told her that her gender dysphoria would "never resolve unless she chemically and surgically transitioned".[5] The case is the second known lawsuit filed in the United States on this topic; Camille Kiefel, a 32-year-old woman, filed a similar case in Multnomah County, Oregon, in 2022.[38]
The San Francisco Chronicle described Cole's case as a "political touchstone for conservative groups pushing against transgender rights and access to gender-affirming care for young people."[9] The Economist opined that, should detransitioning suits such as Cole's be successful, insurers could come to regard gender transition treatments as a liability, which would raise the treatment costs and make providers more careful about advertising; it added that, if the facts of the case were as claimed, it could give pro-transitioning activists cause for reflection on how care is currently provided.[5]
It's hard sometimes when you know you are part of the problem. We all cant be part of the solution, we find solace in better days that will never come but hope for a better moment if not for ourselves but our families and loved ones. We are all human and can only strive to be ourselves.
It was before my time but the musicians always kept it on the back of my mind. They are setting us up for a big scare this year too with conventions in Chicago and Milwaukee. I'm keeping my fingers crossed but I'm not to sure how it will play out.
I don't know but something is seriously broken in that family. I'm not saying we didn't have our own problems but incest was definitely not one of them.
that is soooo funny. It looks like it was written by Pat Byrne, the last fool that ruined his entire company because he saw boogeymen. He was ahead of times for Amazon but he screwed everything up as he sailed down the rabbit hole.
This company is worthless.. lol it's amazing how many prints come across as one share. Like Cletus and his fellow trailer park members pooled their money together and got a trading account instead of buying a heap of lottery tickets.
she loved my dad. He wrote her from Vietnam and shared all of that with me. I wouldn't have ever known about his battle merits if it wasn't for her.. Everything that douche could not tell us.. I'm not sure if she's even alive these days, or living with his Vietnamese wife but I know my cousin who is in jail.
LOL like I said, my family history is really complicated. I've not even started on my mom's side, except for a little here and there. I'm just lucky to be alive and it's a miracle that me and my sister were born in the first place.
I'll admit to not knowing a bunch of that but my father's side of the family were all successful. I have a cousin who was a vice president for Caterpillar and is filthy rich. He's just a consultant now but almost everyone but my dad turned out really well in a family of, get this, twelve kids. I used to go meet everyone when I was young but me and pops had a serious falling out later on.
It was his sister (my aunt) that actually kept in touch with me and told me our family history. She and my mom didn't get along so after my dad and her split up they stopped staying in touch. My aunt was the one who got my college buddy his first and only job that he's been at forever now. She's retired and all of my uncles are all dead. I always wanted to be part of the team but my old man turned out to be such a prick that I lost it all. My sister still stays in touch with the cousins but her stories are not anything I need to hear. We have our own problems too so it makes it hard to go back in time...
My folks were not funny. They are devout baptists who go to the lengths of no drinking and no dancing. I could go on but basically they think nobody should have any fun in the name of Jesus. I am not a subscriber to that idea so I just excluded myself. I could have been wrong but I also saw the hypocrisy that went along with it and I cut ties.
but yeah, my actual grandpa who died before I was born flew for the german air force and that's where I came from after he escaped to america.
suck my dick, a lot of people will like it.
Do you see where you're going with this or are you just generally a complete fool?
The Hitler Germany were bad people but I thought it was a stretch to say that they had the best and brightest minds in the world and the best universities and students. I'm far from a historian but I just have to raise my hand and call bullshit on all of that. If my thinking is even halfway correct it destroys the author's whole premise.
Not to mention it was almost a hundred frigggin years ago and my roots are traced to a guy who was a Luftwaffe pilot., so I might be able to answer a few questions.
I, as a man will answer for her. It's none of your fucking business you internet troll. Go to a doctors office and figure it out for yourself. If you are unsure then there are ways to help you through your dilemma.
That's not a question that should ever be asked yet you and your kind think Michelle Obama is a man. It's really depressing in the way you act.. You can't accept yourself and your own sexuality but feel the need to foist it on others. I'd say take two potatoes from bin #5 but you lose again and have to work more overtime to get to bin #40.
I'm going to have to agree with you except I thought it was just the old man.. That kid with his mom is really scary. Ivanka speaks for herself.
ick, what the hell is going on there?
I like my mom too but at no point would I mount her. That's just unreasonably sickening.
