fishman444: As much as I personally revel in seeing as much humiliation as possible be piled on top of people like Plant, I am forced to second your suggestion, but with one important caveat.
Regarding the products, it is possible to mention the USB drives, maybe mention the biometric products but highlighting the problem with payment on a contract for those products, but I do not believe it is possible to verify anything else about these products. As long as Plant is still the CEO/Chairman, what they are really doing and what markets they're in is a big question mark. Some of his ads are in markets that are questionable as to what kind of trade they'll provoke, others are for products that actually do not exist, or may not ever be available from CyberKey again.
Other than that, I like your suggestion...
And while they weren't getting any payments, which Jim was apparently unaware of, how many checks did they have to bounce in order to pay the bills?
And Jim didn't notice the problem, because someone he hired 6 months after he reported having received the first big 4.3M check from the DHS hid the problem from him 6 months later...
Earnings any day now. Officially due by March 31st (Saturday), the 90th calendar day. They can get an extension for an additional 15 calendar days, which takes it out to the 15th, a Sunday - Most that wait to the last minute will file on that Monday.
I'm hoping for good showing, but suspecting otherwise, though I am not expecting a net loss...
Rare premarket transaction. Nice that it was at the Ask, and for 50000 shares.
Divine Madcat: Black & Decker is responsible for the mechanical parts of the lock, Sequiam with the biometrics.
fivestar: I don't think the fact that there is no trades means the stock is cooked, at least totally, for now.
Clearly the bagholders who were willing to sell at any price just to get out are pretty much sold out. And, at least today, it doesn't look like Plant is selling any, and BA is probably out of shares.
The question is, do any buyers decide to start looking higher up the price chain for sellers, or do most people stay sitting on .0001 through .0003 or so looking for something they may be able to flip.
Of course, IMNSVHO, in the longer run, the company is pretty much cooked once the SEC gets its way with penalties and restitutions...
knowlesmsncom: I know what it does. It's a reseller of other peoples products.
All that other stuff is pure hype.
giligansisle: Yes, you can buy USB flash drives from Cyberkey. They are another company's products with Cyberkey logo added.
But you can buy USB flash drives from many other companies, at many other places, such as from Sandisk, IBM, on eBay and Amazon, at stores, for less money, including drives made by Super Talent, which is what Cyberkey sells.
If all they're going to sell is USB flash drives, they're not going to make it as a company.
Cowboy and AngelHillCorp are no longer assistants. thomas21 is the only assistant now.
Divine Madcat: Sequiam is not their only manufacturer. It is the only manufacturer of biometric products, but there is an incredibly strong case made by danno123 that Super Talent is the supplier of the USB flash drives, and that at least some of the software you download from the CyberKey website for those drives is from Super Talent.
But Cyberkey cannot make it as a reseller of someone else's flash drives if that's their only product. Way too much competition all over the place (eBay, Amazon, stores).
And did you get an official response?
BirdsOfFire: The DHS apparently did not know about Plant's claims until last September.
I sent an iquiry to their Freedom of Info section. The response I got back was that I was the second person to ask that, the first back in September, and the answer was no then and now (to question about CyberKey having any contract with DHS).
What isn't clear is when did the DHS office that learned of this false claim report the info to the SEC, or did they report it at all.
Also, the switch to "large Federal agency" from DHS occurred somewhere about late September.
ToddWHO2: Thanks for the info. Guess they weren't selling any...
Danno123: FIPS covers 4 levels of security. The lowest level is basically no protection needed at all. So that still confuses me.
As for the FTDI chips, I agree - sounds very much like CyberKey's claims.
As far as I can tell by the research over the past couple of days is that the product and software is being provided by Super Talent, and any resident chip is probably a standard, FTDI type chip made by someone else and included in the drives by ST.
There is zero chance that Plant has ever added any value - He's never had the software/firmware people working for him that he'd need in order to develop and implement anything.
Sad mess. Sadder still is that some are holding on, even buying (yellowdog) on the belief that there is a chance that patents exist, that there is some value that CyberKey can offer to the world.
Thanks. Updated my post to include the info.
CyberKey no longer has a way to order an MP3 online. It is not listed as a product anymore.
Just noticed this yesterday, but I have no idea how long it has been missing from the list of products.
Apparently it was removed from the website at the same time as the KeepSafe was removed from the online store, but unlike the KeepSafe, which you can access info on (you have to phone the company to buy the Keepsafe), the MP3 has no info at all available.
Danno123: Not sure about any of this, but my research shows that the "Super Talent" flash drives CyberKey markets are not FIPS 140-2 certified and they're available on the GSA website and DOD EMALL (though the prices for the products on EMALL are XX.XX, so clearly they can't be purchased there at this time).
So, I've always had a problem with the idea that FIPS certification is needed to sell product to the government (not that CyberKey is actually selling anything to the government), and if I remember correctly, someone posted something about the "classified" rating here quite a ways back that showed all it really meant is that the product used 128-bit encryption.
But I've been known to have memory issues...
And another interesting tidbit. The following is from the FAQ site:
http://www.cyberkeysolutions.com/index.php?option=com_easyfaq&task=cat&catid=19&Itemid=7...
#38 My CYBERKEY has bad sectors, how can I get it fixed?
Because of TRUE FFS technology, which the CYBERKEY is based on, all bad sectors are disregarded and not written too. If you are sure that you have bad sectors on your CYBERKEY, please contact our Technical Support at (888) 688-9666 (435) 688-9666 US Non Toll-free or email us at support@cyberkeysolutions.com.
True FFS technology is a SanDisk trademark. And everyone should go to the SanDisk web site and check out the interactive tour for the U3 software their flash drives now include. CyberKey can't touch it.
http://www.sandisk.com/Products/Catalog(1225)-SanDisk_Cruzer_Contour_USB_Flash_Drive__Available_in_M...
The interactive tour is accessed through a link on the right side of the page.
First, I don't call people at penny stock companies for information. Second, if they provided it to CyberKey, and it is the same one shown on the GSA Advantage website, then they had to get it from Super Talent before passing it on to CyberKey.
Third, it's a moot point - GSA listing will be disappearing soon, and you cannot buy an MP3 player from CyberKey online anymore. There is no product listing anymore.
Another indication that the Cyberkey products are from Super Talent (or that Plant just went looking for descriptions to steal, and happened to find them at the Super Talent website.
If you compare the questions and answers given on the Super Talent website with the questions and answers given on the Cyberkey FAQ web site, they are word of word, though CyberKey doesn't include all the questions and answers given by Super Talent.
http://www.cyberkeycorp.com/faq.html#Q2
http://www.supertalent.com/support/faq.php#G5
Also, if you go to the CyberKey Support Download page, page, you'll find downloadable PDF manuals. If you do a search on the web using any of the names (USBDiskManual-V1006.pdf, for example), you find that the same pdfs are available at Super Talent.

iceman1co: I don't think so. They may have misunderstood what product you were asking about.
There is no MP3 player, or any other non-biometric product listed on SQUM's website:
http://www.sequiam.com/products/
The Super Talent MP3 player is an exact match for the MP3 player available as a CyberKey product on the GSA Advantage website.
serfdom: Perfect. It should be the first thing anyone sees, as this is the most critical information a potential investor needs to know before he starts reading things like the Unaudited Financial info that is still there, or all the other crap.
Nice put...
tmcc: The Utah TV report is listed, and the USA vs Plant criminal case is listed, but the arrest info is not there.
geo39: It appears to me that your 'sarcasm meter' needs to be recalibrated...
It is clear that CyberKey uses SuperTalent's OS software, which, BTW, includes BBM (bad block management).
Also, it is crystal clear that the mp3 player is a Super Talent product. Click on the MP3 player at the Super Talent website to view both versions:
http://www.supertalent.com/products/mp3.php
Then compare it to the model at the GSA Advantage website (you have to search for CyberKey from the home page and it's the fifth item listed):
https://www.gsaadvantage.gov/advgsa/advantage/main/start_page.do
You have to compare it with the MP3 on the GSA website, because it isn't a listed product on the CyberKey website anymore.
Also, I went back and checked the dimensions of the Super Talent products, which are given in millimeters, against the dimensions of the CyberKey products that is are visual matches, and the dimensions are identical except for the thickness, but CyberKey uses .25 inches for all, which appears to be a rounding off value.
There is no question in my mind that your original assessment was 100% spot on: CyberKey's products are actually Super Talent products with CyberKey slapped on them.
Good find...
P.S. Super Talent products are also listed on GSA Advantage.
tmcc: All that does is allow you to claim a capital loss even though you never sold for a loss.
Normally, you have to sell something to determine captial gains/loss. When the stock becomes worthless, and can't be sold, the section of the IRS code you cite allows you to record the loss on Schedule D.
sandvet: GSA Advantage still lists them, but Alpha Data has removed the CyberKey logo from it's web site, and it also no longer includes CyberKey products in the GSA contract PDF you can access at the GSA Advantage web site.
The GSA itself, appears to be a little slow on taking down the info, but it looks like it is history soon...
The ST products and CyberKey products don't appear to be exact matches at least when you compare dimensions (you have to convert metric at ST site, vs US standard at CyberKey site). But ST does have a page that seems to indicate they will manufacture to your specs.
The other thing I noticed is that the descriptions given for the ST products are used almost verbatem to describe CyberKey products, 'though CyberKey does claim more advantages/features.
Sandvet: Went out to DOD EMALL today and searched for CyberKey.
Not a single listing came up. Tried searching for Alpha Data, with no luck, even searched for all 1GB USB flash drive devices, and looked at the 7 pages of Drive Devices without finding a CyberKey device.
So much for DOD EMALL sales (unless I totally screwed up the searches)...
No. In fact, someone posted a copy of an IRS bulletin that was about this subject specifically, and it clearly said it couldn't be done.
Sorry. You have to take it off the old fashion way - Deductions from Captial Gains, followed by up to 3000.00 off taxable income, if you don't have enough Capital Gains to offset the loss.
Danno123: Interesting stuff. Did a Google search for STF_UT_USB2.0. A lot of hits, most identifying it as Super Talent Flash product that is being used by other companies.
Most interesting link was to CyberKey FAQ's page. Note the answer to the following question:
Where can I get technical answer and support?
A: Contact Super Talent Flash Technical support and RMA department by sending email to support@cyberkeycorp.com or send a RMA Request Form.
http://www.cyberkeycorp.com/faq.html#Q2
Anybody here checked out CyberKey on DOD Emall lately? I just went there, did a search for CyberKey and nothing was found.
Did a search for Alpha Data corp. and nothing was found.
Did a search for KeepSafe and nothing was found.
Did a search for 1GB USB flash drive, and refined to Disk Drive entries only, and looked at all entries on 7 pages. No CyberKey product.
Am I doing something wrong?
Got a PM from ice asking me to tell this board that he has not received a notice about the SEC from iHub. I also took a look at the posts today, and nobody there is claiming to have been notified.
I think it is pretty clear that the SEC is trying to find out if employees of the company (including Plant), of BA, or any of the people who Plant was selling the shares dumped into the market were posting here.
So, unless you're one of those people, there isn't anything to worry about.
fenian: Check his posting on his 'honesty, integrety' board. Two posts a couple of days ago, after the SEC charges came to light, saying that he is going to wait for all the facts to come out.
Still standing by his 'friend' dispite the facts that have come out.
Divine Madcat: I haven't received any notice, either. I wonder how many 'naysayers' have been notified, vs the 'hear-no-evil-see-no-evil-speak-no-evil-smell-no-evils'.
Could the SEC be looking for posters who are employees of the company or BA, or the people Plant was selling the shares that got dumped into the open market?
I wonder how many of the FnF posters have been notified...
yellow-DOG, looking for a dead-cat...
Figures you'd want to see a dead cat do anything...
yellowdog1: I understand your reservations, but in my opinion, any actions to expose Plant will have little negative effect on CyberKey.
In fact, IMNSVHO, the more negative exposure given to Plant, particularly in his and company's home town, will dramatically increase the pressure on getting him out of the company all together.
That cannot be anything but positive at this time...
yellowdog1: USXP is almost gone. The judge ruled in favor of the SEC on all summary judgement requests, but has not yet officially declared penalties.
No way they can pay any money to the SEC...
roadie: Interesting. Displaying two of the products they can no longer get from Sequim.
That's good for business...
