Good post. Events will occur behind the scenes and eventually the mainstream media, brokers and markets will take notice and hopefully begin the ascent of the stock price. From all the posts I read, nobody is selling anyway until a settlement comes to fruition. If everyone honestly believes this is the ticket to millionaire status, this is a wonderful time to be adding to their stock portfolio. There is a reason for patience, it's difficult but hopefully in the end,,,its worth it.
"Patience My Ass,,,I am going to kill something."
I am fine. I am retired, live on the beach and enjoy life fishing, playing golf and playing the markets a little. I have a couple hundred thousand shares, so I enjoy the wait and the reading. I hate to be a voice of reason but while this might pay off well, I hope this isn't what you are planning to retire on. Companies don't like making millionaires from its average shareholders.
I sit back and read all of these posts about buying and buying,,,then buying more! Some of you must have 1 billion shares or more of this stock. Then the same huge buyers go on to post how the stock will be worth $1.00, maybe $2.00 per share. As I read all of this I have a couple of questions:
1. How many shares are there left to sell?
2. How much is enough?
3. Is the goal for some of you to be listed along side Bill Gates and Warren Buffett as the wealthiest in all the land? OR
4. Just exactly how far in debt are you that you need $1 billion?
Just wondering.
Hey Scoob,,,its only paper until you sell. That is all it is. You are not up or down until you press that "sell button"!
Goodbuddy, only time will tell. I am not selling cheap, but I will most likely be out prior to the settlement IF thie PPS goes crazy from investor exuberance. Hopefully as this story catches on, more and more investors will become unrealistic as to what the share price will be after settlement. Maybe $5 per share!!!
I hope to sell when exuberance hits its high point in the market. It may be when the information of this case becomes more well defined for the general investor and MM that the price will exceed whatever the shake-out of the settlement might bring. So as a shareholder at these low prices now, it may work out best to try and determine what you might take as the pps climbs and not wait for the settlement. Those holding once the settlement happens might wind up being bag-holders. Just My Opinion! Good luck ?? to all.
Thank you Monty.
it makes a lot of sense. It would seem that if any one of the defendants elects to settle, and Chanbond elects to accept that settlement, the % attributable to that defendant (and the associated amount) would become the basis for all other defendants' settlement amounts.
However, just to throw another wrench into the equation, if one defendant wants to settle, I imagine the remaining Cisco12 could accept that pro-ration and just use that amount toward the final settlement. Thus dissolving any further compensation required or owed from the one company which settled toward the final disposition or settlement to Chanbond.
May easily become very confusing for the Cisco 13 and might become another reason for them to settle early and then subsequently determine the equitable ratio for each to be used. Hopefully there are two or three strong players wanting to settle and apply pressure to all the other participants to do so as well. That would be nice.
That should answer my questions,,,thanks!
Monty:
I suppose the question I have is:
If the Cisco 13 can't decide an equitable division of the total settlement for each, would the courts even care and have them make the payment and figure that out later OR could the parties stall the trial process until that equitable division is determined?
I know the courts would not allow this to continue on and on, but would this be taken into consideration as a tactic to stall out the process for a year,,,two years,,,?
I could imagine new suits to be filed by some of the parties against some of the other parties as they don't agree on the 'equitable distribution'. I realize that is not a Chanbond or UOIP problem, but one the courts could review and agree to a continuance of the case until that matter is determined?
Monty Cristo,
From your prior post:
In any case, this Markman hearing was very important because the issues of law are adjudicated and it basically encourages settlement, particularly in Judge Andrews' court room. If you read about Andrews (who is set to try the case if you haven't been paying attention), it appears he has the fewest patent-specific procedures and guidelines out of all four Article III judges that sit on the Delaware court. He apparently has a unique procedure for these Markman hearings. I read that "instead of having the parties file separate claim construction charts and briefs for the Markman hearing, he requires the parties to exchange their proposed claim terms for construction, exchange their proposed constructions, confer, and file a Joint Claim Construction Chart, as well as a Joint Claim Construction Brief." In other words, he gets the parties to sit down and really pinpoint what the contentious issues are. This leads to less strong-arming and taking a tunnel-vision approach with one's own case. This makes the aspect of settlement more conducive, particularly as Andrews found in favor of ChanBond after the December 9th Markman hearing
Would this mean that each of the Cisco 13 need to sit down together and determine, not only an amount to be used for settlement but, what each company believes is its fair share of that settlement to be?
If that is the case, would you believe they have previously determined that split?
In my mind, just this one piece might take years of in-fighting between the Cisco 13 to determine. Would the judge take that scenario into consideration as to why the trial date would need to be pushed back?
I can't imagine the time and effort the companies would spend to just determine who is responsible for how much of the settlement would be attributed to its company.
Wow, down another 35%. I am just putting my shares away and wait.
I believe that UOIP has just won a tremendous victory over the Cisco 13. I also believe that the settlement will be huge. I also believe that the defendants will settle prior to January. My concern is with the amount of greed that the company's Executives and Board of Directors will exercise as to how the share price will shake out for the investors. I honestly do believe we will see a huge reverse split enacted, prior to or once UOIP accepts an offer. While the mainstream investor who retains shares now will make a profit, it will not be anywhere near what is imagined. I hope it is, as I do have skin in the outcome. I just won't believe it until I see it. Good luck to all!
I am sure you all have this:
The number of shares of the registrant’s Common Stock, $.001 par value:
Outstanding at February 15, 2016 was: 1,011,928,504
Insider ownership per filing: 903,325,954
Possible Settlement Amounts / Outstanding Shares:
$10 million settlement: $0.01 PPS
$50 million settlement: $0.05 PPS
$250 million settlement: $0.25 PPS
$500 million settlement: $0.50 PP
$1 BILLION settlement: $1.00 PP
UOIP will ensure the shareholders are NOT gong to benefit nearly what everyone on here believes they are due. If a settlement appears imminent, the board will begin voting for million dollar bonuses, reverse stock splits, paying the attorneys with cash and shares of stock, and anything else they can to dilute shares, By the time the settlement is signed, sealed and delivered, 10,000,000 shares will be diluted to 400,000 shares valued at .02 per share. All the waiting, watching, and the amount paid for the shares will wind up to be a break-even venture, at best.
Still "Pumping" this? So you think "any day now"? Yeah, I guess August 12, 2020 would be considered any day now! The Bid for this stock right now is $.0001. Probably the high for the day!
Glad to hear that Gm,,,you will be in hog heaven tomorrow.
It will be a fire sale tomorrow!
Thanks Allinfun!
So, it's okay to pump and dump on here? If this is a legitimately good deal, let it take its course without sending out rehashed news. The stock price will eventually find its level. My only problem with the article is at the end when the author begins talking how great the stock price will grow. BS,,,hopefully that's the case, but to me it's pumping,,,pure and simple. I am in my position as I believe exactly what is said in the article, without trying to get the price up by pumping. To me, those will be the ones to dump shares once the price gets to $.02. No need to reply as I am off this site..
I am not trying to be negative as I would love for this news to be correct and we could all make lots of dough,,,, but what is EPR Financial News and why can't this information be found elsewhere? When you get onto the news site, you can click on the top right where it will then show that all you have to do is pay $29 and write up your own article which will be published. Is this story documented anywhere else that can be found? Thanks.
I tried to open the litigation file to see if there was anything new to read. I was unable but it did say that the latest filing on the case was 03/06/2017. Oh well. Just wait and see,,,downside negligible,,,upside wonderful
I got in this stock @ $.55 and rode it up to $2.46. On 3/6 I happened to be on my computer when the stock reached $2.67 and I noticed large sell offs. I immediately sold and got out before it tanked to $.72. After I sold, I got onto the HotelGiant website and attempted to book a flight and hotel. I was unable and the web-site instructed me to "try again later". I knew then that I had made a good decision to sell. I was tempted to get back in for the second ride up and glad I stayed out. I did not know about ihub at that time or I would have posted this message. Scam company from the get-go.
About to Jump! Hopefully to .30 tomorrow.
