Nice call on PFE Nick. I'd begin to accumulate at 34.
Correction: Opened WMG @ 27.75
And because I have a slew of cash and like IPOs opened just a nibble of WMG at 27.50
How 'bout that TSLA, Court ?

Thanks SF. Still trying to figure if SWK or SWT is a good investment. I really like the idea of a 6+% dividend.
Cancelled order to sell ABBV at 92.50- Zacks consensus estimate came out with a strong buy recommendation on this slug today.
Closed AMZN @ 2472 from 2452. So long AMZN. Not getting the wild one day swings. Time for another stock.

Thanks Nick, I spoke with fixed income at Fidelity. I'm thinking it might be a good addition to my portfolio. What do you think ? Any liability in this equity ? The common SWK is up $5 today.
Yes, but what is SWT ?

I'll be selling it at 92.20. I see no point in accumulating this now when it's dividend is 6 weeks away and no positive news on the horizon. Once clear of this stock at 92.20, I'll begin accumulating at 89.
Nick,
Could you explain to me the SWT SWK stock symbols for Stanley Black and Decker? One pays 2+% the other pays 6+%.
Good morning,
Can someone explain to me the SWT SWK stock symbols for Stanley Black and Decker? One pays 2+% the other pays 6+%.
PFE Short lived at that point, I was on it then it was gone. I'd still like to trade near 34 on this, it may not make that again anytime soon though.
TD started to look good to me at 42.80. Let that go too. Canadian Banks reeling right now. May be on another pullback if that happens. Don't follow Canadian money markets and pretty much have the idea that the US dollar is near its low. That's good for now. What are Canadian banks and monetary policy paying on the Canadian dollar?
PFE broke through the 10 day, the 50 day and the bottom bollinger band. What are you seeing that I don't ? I like PFE at 34...
Out of BYND at the same price I went in. Don't like when a stock goes down after buying. Vote with my feet. Watch it go up now.
It's Alabama, never.
Opened BYND at 136.32
AMT, CCI, SBAC. Nick is holding a nice profit in AMT that I'm aware of.
Reopened MU at 46.50.
What happened now Nick ?
Indexes down today. Like I said. "Nobody Expects The Spanish Inquisition".

That answer is the reason why I'm still gathering cash. I think we're setting up for another drop. I hope I'm wrong, but if I'm not I'll be ready. That corresponds to not being too weighted down with dead stocks not going anywhere. An exception I made the other day was EQH up 13% since reopening on 5/18/20 with a quarter of my previous position
Oh and also SLQT ($27.80) off a recent IPO. Bought a bit too rich, but I could have said the same for FB when I bought that at 40.
trkyhtr- I'm more interested in my own well being more than a concept- "for the country". Everyone is of course interested in their own self interest. If that corresponds to their views about country before individual then that's true enough also. I will say this- everyone wants the best for everyone, and leave it at that. Regardless of my desire to see everyone prosper, I think my own self interest and for the many others who may die as a result of this virus (IE: me living over some folks working) takes priority. I'd say the same for anyone because quite frankly I'm not willing to "die for my country so that others may work". So to speak.
Put a different way, multiply the you's and me's by hundreds of thousands. I think our cohort dying isn't good for the country either. Certainly not good for you or I.
I'll take me living over someone or 40 million someones being unemployed. Call me greedy.
I don't think this happens to be anything to do with the main street media or the lame street media, I think it's just common sense to want to live a bit longer. After all, the last 26 years for you has been your best.
I'd say the last 11 I've been retired haven't been too bad either and I'd prefer to experience more. Much more in fact.
The financials on BMO and TD don't look good to me.
Thanks Nick, I'll continue to put this back on my watch list and wait. Could have kept my position in it this A.M. but resolved not to based on a simple formula. It goes down, I get out. It went down from 44 and I got out at 44. Can't care where it goes now. Too much against it right now.
Not at all surprising SF. I had a pre market buy for 44 and it did execute. I quickly got out at no cost when the tape came across that Canadian banks are under a lot of pressure form Covid related stuff.
50/50 then SF. Premarket it's moved to 46. I really like the dividend and don't generally work on more than a stock or 2 at a time, so when Nick mentioned this at 39+ I noted it, now seeing the value in the stock I'm more interested... However, since Nick is usually right on the mark I don't want to go in and regret this on a pullback.
I have enough regrets already.
Nick, I'm still looking at TD and wonder if with a 10% price improvement since you opened, whether it's still a reasonable opportunity.
Opened CRM after hours. 180.70.
Good for you and me as well. Though I would be a bit concerned as they do after all hold the purse strings, and yes, they own and run a propaganda machine also.
Nick, I'm still looking at TD and wonder if with a 10% price improvement since you opened, whether it's still a reasonable opportunity.
That is exactly what this government is railing against. You simply should not have that advantage Elroy. Nor should anyone else for that matter. In their eyes. Talk to any majority Senator or White House government official. They'll set you straight.
If you look at it Court I think you'll see a considerable amount is inflation.
