OK, so I found out that it has no effect on US trading! Our Canadian friends can't trade it, however. Sorry for the alarm there, fellas!
IDNG to da moon! LOL.
Hmm...works OK for me...

Looking at their website, I see several other tickers with a cease trade order as well, that seem to be trading just fine.
Maybe this only means that they cannot be traded in Canada?
Sorry if that caused any confusion...I'm confused, lol.

I hate it for anyone now stuck in this stock...I've just been watching this Bollinger Report promo, admiring what a great job they were doing with it. Beautiful chart here...hate to see it get wrecked by something like this. hope it doesn't last long, and trading resumes at the same pps. Good luck to all.
I see the ibox hasn't changed at all since the business changed names and doesn't sell pasta sauce anymore. That's awesome.
Hmm...don't really like that 8-K. Seems I've read the deal with La Jolla and forgotten about the pps needing to stay above .01. Yuck. Hope Tony has a plan in place for this...
Well, I was deleted twice for posting another ticker symbol, but I thought that given the situation here that it was appropriate. I edited my post with no ticker symbol. I really do wish the best for everyone holding shares here, and maybe it isn't as grim as folks might think. I think drwright had some good advice about not posting over the weekend because of the sharks. Stay away from all of the negativity on message boards. Do your own DD over the weekend as he suggested! Make your OWN decision about what to do on Monday and the days that follow. I'm thankful that ATRN at least had class enough not to PR this 30 minutes before close and create panic. Maybe they do have a shred of decency left.
God bless you all.
OK, sorry to post about another stock here, but it was relevant. My post is edited with no ticker symbol, but the corporation name instead...I do think that it is relevant and wanted to share it!
Awfully sorry to hear about this, guys. I feel bad for each and every shareholder of ATRN. Hard to spin anything positive from this, but I'll get to that in a minute, because there could be. The fact is that ATRN screwed every single one of you. I sold the rest of mine at .07 a few weeks ago, and am glad I did.
As to ATRN possibly being halted on Monday, I seriously doubt it. It's a penny stock priced at .04...I anticipate a large gap down, followed by heavy selling pressure and then a nice bounce. The dust won't settle for awhile, as I'm sure the stock will be extremely volatile for several days or even weeks. However, it will make for some good liquidity and trading opportunities!
If you're going to wait on a check for "existing equity holders," you might be waiting for a while...maybe years. And don't count on a big check. Shareholders are the LAST to get any money from BK. Creditors get most of it.
Now to the positive! CDC Corporation filed for chapter 11 bankruptcy last year on 10/05/11, and the stock price went down 50% that day from .88 down to .43. The next day, it opened up at .09, traded as high as .33, before settling at .13. It drifted as low as .07 last November. Well, have you seen what the stock is priced at today? $4.65! They got bought out. Not saying this will happen with ATRN, but it isn't out of the question. Chapter 11 is much better than chapter 7, as you know. It isn't over for ATRN just yet...and at least we now all know what is going on. Of course, the speculation will just increase now, lol.
Nah, no experience with their work, other than I am signed up for their emails. UEI looks like the underlying party that pays the third parties, like Bluewave, to promote their stocks. I expect a promo campaign to last several weeks with this one, but I could be wrong.
The chart is ready, that's for sure. Lots of upside from here! They will have to get a promo campaign going soon if they are going to be able to sell any stock at all and get traders interested. They're also going to have to tighten the bid/ask spread up a bit, but that will happen with volume.
We are sitting right on the SMA (50), still following the uptrend line I have drawn. We broke out of the short-term downtrend we were in since the high of .30 back in Feb. Support at .10 - .11, and major resistance at .19. Would like to see .13 - .14 become support now to keep long-term uptrend intact. Really though, all of this means nothing without some volume!
.o3 has held as support for the past few days, which is nice. Looks like if the price stays where it's at now, or continues to rise, the SMA (50) will come up to meet the SMA (200) once again for another Golden Cross. Didn't seem to make much difference the last time that happened because there just isn't much volume in BISU right now. I think that with the recent news, BISU is going to capture a lot more attention in the coming days and weeks.
Just need some volume now. Bids are increasing, but I think that DEAC is still an unknown.
On a side note, from their 10-Q a few weeks back:
On May 3, 2012, the Company and UEI executed a letter of execution (the “Letter of Extension”) of the consulting agreement to extend the payment terms of Cash Payments and Stock Payments from the May 7, 2012 to June 15, 2012. The shares will be issued on the revised payment date.
I suppose this means that UEI will be getting their shares next Friday as compensation. If and when they do, I expect we can see some new interest in DEAC as early as the following Monday. However, don't get too excited about UEI handling "investor relations" for DEAC...I've taken a look at the chart of some of their past and current profiled companies, and most of them look to be in a nasty downtrend. Just pull up a chart on all of the companies listed in their disclaimer: http://undiscoveredequities.com/disclaimer/
Looks like they did a good job with the HUSA promo back in late April. There have been a few good promotions of some of these tickers, but nothing long term. They ran the RACK promotion though, which turned out to be a pretty good one. In my opinion, if you really believe in DEAC (and I see no reason not to), you may want to sell when the promotional campaign hits, then buy back when it is over and has found a new bottom. Just my opinion. Good luck to all.
WGAS getting some attention from a new website run by a fellow trader:
http://www.thestockgarage.com/watchlist-6812/
Well, we have been in a downtrend now for months, but I really do think that WGAS will not go below .007. We might hang around .01 for a while longer, but I think the uptrend is starting today. I hope, lol.
Looks as if WGAS has broken out of a couple of downtrends, according to my trendlines. The SMA (20) is still holding WGAS down, so hopefully we can bust through it and use it as support going towards the SMA (50), which isn't that far away either. I'm going to proclaim .007 as the bottom...hope I'm right, lol. Gonna try to add on any more dips. Good luck to all.
WGAS
I'm buying this week. Hope I can still get some low .20s when my funds clear!
Some volume today...and nice news too.

Love this new development! I'm going to see what I can find out about the good Dr. Good luck to all!
Well, it's been looking mighty sad here for WGAS lately. Glad I haven't averaged down yet like I wanted to do just under .02. I am kind of glad to see oil dropping, from a consumer point of view, but sad to see what it has been doing to my oil stocks.
Wow, I saw that DEJ fell off a cliff yesterday, then saw the financing news. DEJ management really has a way of screwing its shareholders, don't they? I'm glad I sold a few weeks ago at .36. This just doesn't make sense as a long-term investment right now. Short-term swing trade, maybe, since there is quite a bit of upside from these levels. Maybe DEJ will one day get out of this awful funk it has been in...
Good luck to all.
Well, now I wish I had bought back in yesterday! Let's see if it can hold 1.86-1.87 as support. I do believe SSN will go back well over $2.00 soon, especially when oil comes back up. Good luck to all!
Looks like I sold the rest of my .43s way too early this morning at .60...I think this is gaining some momentum after that nasty pullback. At least bid support is starting to strengthen, which is something it didn't have the past few days. I'll look to get back in again soon, as I believe this is going much higher. Good luck to all.
I thought that was where you were probably going with that! I agree to some extent...however, my father has decided in the past couple of years to pull all of his money out of IRAs (he's in his late 60s, so no penalty, lol) and invest in gold and silver...against my advice. Oh well. My girlfriend and I run a jewelry business too, so personally I like seeing gold go lower because it means cheaper supplies.
Can you do a chart for silver, or does it pretty much just follow gold? Thanks again.
Interesting, Clay, thanks. Just curiously, why do you want to see gold go lower?
I'm still somewhat interested in this soap opera, that's why I lurk, lol. The fact is that not many give a crap about ATRN anymore because of the way they have treated shareholders and the lack of information that they provide. I like the channel that it is trading in right now. Bid in the .05s, offer in the .06s. That's all I see ATRN as anymore...a stock to trade. Even though I don't hold shares anymore, I still trade it. You darn sure aren't making any money by holding it. Good luck.
You can always sell...even if it is for a loss. It sucks, but when a company like ATRN screws its shareholders so bad like they have and doesn't show them any respect whatsoever, why would you want to own that stock? That's what I had to ask myself a couple of weeks ago, and then I dumped the rest of my stock (for a small profit). People here are hanging on because they believe in fairy tales and dreams...not because they are being rational. Good luck to you!
Unbelievable that Caspian is valued at about .03/share, looking at those financials. $4.4 million in Q1 this year. Obviously the net losses are hurting them, but still... $.03? Seems like this is a good one to get in on at these levels, since it doesn't seem to want to go much lower...risk/reward seems pretty favorable to me!
Anyone find it odd that WDCO is both on the bid and the ask?
I'm anticipating a move back to $2.00 in the short-term here...good news out this weekend and sounds like Terry finally listened to the shareholders. With good news from Gretel II (which was conspicuously absent in the update), Aus II and SoA, this could head back to $3 eventually. Not seeing that anytime really soon though because of the price of oil right now, but that could change tomorrow, lol. Good luck, guys. I liquidated my shares weeks back, but will re-buy this week.
I remember reading the same thing on the ATRN board from some posters...look where that stock is now. Don't count on anything in penny land, and make sure you take profits on the way up.
I like the chart here. Despite making lower highs, it is making higher lows. Volume is steadily decreasing though, which isn't a good sign, imho. Keeping it on watch for sure. I'll never "invest" in a penny stock again though, lol. Learned my lesson the hard way on that one. Good luck to everyone here.
I'd just be happy to see a penny again, which is where I'm averaged in at. Honestly, .01 would be almost a 1,000% gain from its most recent low of .0012 (unnless you count that fat fingered .0003), so we shall see...seems like a bit of a stretch, but anything's possible way down here in penny land, lol. With these recent volume spikes, thanks to LH and financing news, we have seen some really wild swings, sometimes within a few minutes, which leads me to believe that SMNG is still up to its old ways of dilution...but then again, how many penny stocks don't dilute, lol?
Anyway, good luck guys.
Well, this was fun to play when you could catch it in the low .80s and sell in the low .90s! I like the slow move the past 2 days though...think if it can get past a buck and see that 250K bid from VERT rise along with the share price, we could start see volume come back into this stock. With a 2 million dollar promo, they definitely aren't done with this one yet. IMHO, it's still just getting started.
Good luck, and go ORYN!
I caught some .43s here the other day, sold a few today at .591...holding the rest for what I believe will be a nice run if and when it can get past all the bagholders in the .80s...
Good luck to all, and go HYII!
Nice move the past couple of days! Still holding here, and looking to average down soon. Great news today. Hopefully SMNG will keep the dilution to a minimum and let the price rise like it should with that tremendous volume. I almost thought we were about to become a trip zero stock! Good luck to all, and go SMNG!
Termination of Negotiations.
Just do a simple Google search of that term, and then find me one instance where it meant that the outcome was good. I think you'll find that what it means is the two parties were unable to agree, so they quit discussions (aka, terminated negotiations). Really, people...quit trying to read so much into such a simple PR.
That sticky about ATRN being in a buyout is so misleading...mods need to remove that, IMHO. It is pure speculation and conjecture, and has no place there. Unless mods are pumpers now.
Not sure why you have to "lmao" about what I said, but so be it.
They are winding down "support for its agency business following the termination of negotiations with a potential acquirer for the business." To me, this means that they had a buyer lined up for the agency business, and started negotiations with them to acquire it. Since negotiations were unsuccessful, they decided to wind down support! Seems pretty straight-forward to me. If negotiations had been successful, wouldn't the PR state as much? They aren't supporting that part of their business anymore because they couldn't find a buyer and it obviously isn't as profitable as it used to be a couple of years ago (maybe they are even losing money on it). To go from a top ten ad agency 2 years ago to winding down support for it now speaks volumes to me. Atrinsic is struggling big-time. Ad agency is basically gone, Kazaa and other parts are gone, so the affiliate network is all that's left. Here you have a company that has been selling assets left and right to pay BD because they defaulted on debt to them, and now they have one profitable asset left...maybe. I'd love to believe that they are being bought out, believe me. Nothing would make me happier.
When you terminate negotiations, that means they were not successful. Period. Otherwise, the wording would go something like this:
"Following successful negotiations with XXX, Atrinsic has sold its ad agency part of the business for xxx dollars."
Otherwise, why bother even putting out a PR at all? I realize that nothing that I say will resonate with you, since you already have your mind made up, and that's fine. Still, that's no reason to "lmao" at what I have to say, which I consider to be a well-thought out statement. Just because my interpretation differs from yours doesn't mean that it's wrong. Is it not OK to have a contrarian point of view on this board anymore (although I have noticed that only the positive spins are stickied)?
Ah, to heck with it. Have some Kool-aid, on me! ATRN to the moon! Weeeeeeeeeeeee!!! We're being bought out for $1.25/share!!! Yay!!!
Doesn't it seem strange that they would be winding down support of a top ten search agency (well, according to Advertising Age in 2010)? Didn't this company very recently generate more revenue per employee than all but one or two other search agencies? What happened? Nobody is surprised by any of this?
Nobody was happier than me to see the stock recover today like it did. I honestly expected a high-volume tank job, and it didn't happen. Glad to be wrong. I'm still holding my shares here. I honestly think that people are reading WAY too much into a very straight-forward, simple PR though...negotiations are terminated means that they weren't successful, folks. When have you ever heard of terminated negotiations resulting in a successful outcome? Let's get real. ATRN appears to be on life support right now.
Good luck to all. I hope this ends up positive, and I'm wrong again.
Yeah, you're right. Have a nice day.
Just got an email from Aim High Profits, which was a response to a question that I had asked earlier today. Here was my message to them:
Hello,
>
> I wanted to confirm that you profiled ATRN on Friday. Can you please
> send me a copy of the email alert that you allegedly sent out? I'm
> just curious, because to date, there have been zero paid promotions on
> ATRN, and I have read in a couple of different places that you were
> paid to promote ATRN on Friday, 05/18/12. Thanks,
And here was their response to me this evening:
Thank you for your interest in our site.
We did send out an alert on ATRN on Friday.
Aim High Profits was not compensated for the alert and does not own any shares of ATRN.
Best Regards,
Aim High Profits
So whoever said that they did receive compensation is a liar. There have been zero paid promos for ATRN...ever...period.
All it takes is a simple board search, Gary, but sure...here you go. Not all say that phrase exactly, but they all convey the same general idea:

It was 2:40pm CT that it was posted...ihub goes by Eastern Time.
