I normally don't get involved in deletions on political boards, but that one was a bit much. Gracias.
To All:
I've deleted loads of posts tonight. PLEASE keep your posts 100% about BBDA.
No more of these silly graphics, cartoons, and videos.
All posts need to be about BBDA only. It dilutes the value of the board, otherwise.
Gracias!
What happens when you try to install this?

I've asked our London Support Maestro to stop in here and post about these issues.
Yes, it's realtime/streaming. I think it's 150 per portfolio, you can have as many as you'd like.
>>How do you access L2 from the streamer page?
One of two ways.
1. Clicking Level 2 at the top of iHub and opening a level 2 window.
2. clicking the little paper looking icon next to the name of the company - it'll open a menu you can click on.
I'm beating them up to make the entire row clickable/popup menu.
I know Level 2 works on the iphone.....I'd be happy to set you up with a trial and you can test it out on Windows Mobile and see if it'll work...
Nite - you should have a PM from ADVFN John on this topic...
Dunno. Not sure what that means - can you describe it to me or send me a link?
I'm not sure, I didn't see it. However, ignore him. Listen only to Uncle Matt.
I've set you up with a 1 week trial...
Log out, then log back in to iHub, click Streamer and/or Level 2 at the top of the site.

This needs to be the go-to place on IRP discussion. The other was set up as another Parking Lot and we don't need that.

I'm not really a beer guy, but I've taken a liking to Chimay Blue Label. Ever heard of it?
You're set for a week.
Log out of iHub and back in - you should be set then.

I've edited my post to update this line. There was obviously some confusion.
-Moderators not participating in the board in the last 90 days will be removed to free up the space for an active moderator. (Old)
New Moderator/Assistant policies:
-The script will now run on Saturdays (new)
-Moderators not participating in the board in the last 90 days will be removed to free up the space for an active moderator. (Old)
-Assistants not participating in the board will be removed (new)
Adding assistants: It's not acceptable to add an assistant because they are your buddy or otherwise; any assistant added needs to have an active interest in the board and particpate in the discussion.
Becoming Moderator: Admin approve all Moderator adoptions. Do NOT sign up for a board unless you have an active interest in the stock. This means previous and ongoing posts about the stock - not short messages just to take over as Mod.
Starting new boards: Same thing here - by all means, create all the boards you want for stocks that don't exist - however, if you don't have an interest in actively talking about the stock (besides just pasting the last price or a PR or two), do NOT tick the box to be the Moderator.
At the end of the day, what makes the iHub Moderation concept work so well is ACTIVE INTEREST AND PARTICIPATION by the Moderator and Assistants - they make sure the rules get enforced timely and properly because they know what the discussion is really about and are actively around to read the board.
This isn't a system to be 'gamed' for any reason.
We've run this script as of tonight and it will run on Saturdays going forward.
Ease up INDY & Janice.....I'm going to post later tonight on 'what's happened' after Dave has finished running the code....
Just relax until then, please...
To All:
We've just cleaned the last 100+ posts up.
Politics is not on topic for this board, especially hate speech.
This board is for stocks only. Please respect that.
Janice,
As I've asked you privately, relax. As promised, I did have a discussion with the team this morning; there's a 'plan' that's in motion. After it's been executed, all shall be clear to you.
Until then, don't give yourself a heart attack over this. Just relax and let Uncle Matt and his team work their magic, eh?
I think there are quite a bit more as well.
Many I've started to round up who aren't active IRP yet have told me they'll join as IRP as soon as they have a deal that's active.
Also, I'm waiting on the Nerds to solve this signature issue, then I'll resume busting people's ass and making them sign up.
it must be said, there's been very little fighting with me when I've confronted folks. I'm, so far, quite pleased with the honesty.
Creede - yeppers, pink l2 will work for you.
BB? As in OTCBB? It works just fine for that...
I responded to your PM as well, but I'll answer here as well for the benefit of all.
Matt I jst saw, no NASDQ or NYSE, any chance we are gonna get em?
They've never had NYSE/AMEX; they DID have TotalView. A big % of iHub just focuses on BB/pinks. We built the small cap pro package of features around them. Once I've got a good base of users...and get some clammoring for NYSE/AMEX/NASDAQ level 2, I'll be able to get them to switch it on for us. It's certainly available from the feed provider, but there aren't quite enough interested folks to justify turning it on -- the amount of data pushed on those level 2 feeds is HUGE.
This is a long answer to say - right now, it isn't turned on - a few more users start screaming for it, I'll get it turned on.
>>Matt...one nice feature I had on my previous LII provider was a right-click on the symbol (streamer page) and have viewing options. I used this a lot to see LII detail.
This is something I'm currently beating them up about - I like to be able to click the entire line on the streamer. You CAN get further detail (charts, L2, etc), but you have to click the little icon to the left of the name. It's a little page-looking thing. Click that and you'll have the menu options.
I'm on it. :)
That should do the trick; clearly not processing delistings.
FVRL - not giving proper quote info for this
You got it, dude.
1 week, small cap pro. yours starts on Monday morning.
Log out of iHub and back in - you should be set then.

RE: Moderating Lots of Boards
I'm likely going to do something in the way of number of boards allowed to be Moderated on Monday morning after I speak with Dave/Shelly/Dan....
but one thing that is officially over: signing up for boards you aren't truly active in. I just denied 47 board adoption/mod requests. All had 4 posts on them that was it. Unless you're truly active/interested in the board, do NOT sign up to be Mod. The iHub Moderator system only works when the Mod/Assistants are ACTIVE.
Questions for IRPs:
As I'm always looking at ways to improve everything we do here, especially so that it helps the non-IRP members of iHub...
What exactly entails a typical deal for you guys?
As in..
Are you paid just to post on message boards and create awareness?
Are you paid to arrange or distribute emails?
Are you paid to answer the phone when investors call?
Do you arrange or do cold calls?
It seems we could build something a little more organized, tranparent, and accurate for investors to actually use...........I would appreciate answers to the above by any of you.
wyo,
I have some questions about your Level 2 package you are offering. Is your Level 2 for the Pinks and the OTCBB complete or partial? A complete Level 2 for the NYSE, American, and Nasdaq give the number of shares availible in the ASK and the number of shares wanted in the BID. With the old Pinks and BB all one could get is like 500X500 or 5000X5000 which tell you nothing. Does yours have the actual numbers now or is it still the same old thing.
The Level 2 package is the full offering from Pink Sheets, as far as a retail trader goes. It's standard level 2. What you're referring to is the minimum quote size rule as defined by FINRA. I've seen no change in that and the MMs continue to show 500 or 5000 for their sizes -- no matter where you get the data from. I absolutely agree with you, it really is annoying to not be able to see the true order size...but I don't forsee that changing anytime soon.
Can I access this service from more than one computer? I travel a lot and use my big desk top at home, my lap top when traveling, and at times I have to borrow a computer when I don't have wireless service availible. Thanks. wyowonder
Yes - it's all web-based, so you can access it from anywhere as long as you launch a web browser.
Fixed; make a post to prevent that from happening. :)
Shelly and Dan were on him like pepperoni on a meatlovers pizza.
OK.
CNQ:SLH is what you want.
NYSE:SLH exists.
So, you could certainly create a board for it; just stick CNQ:SLH as the ticker.
It won't pull up a quote on the ADVFN system because they don't have this particular feed (if it takes off or we see increase in users here, we'll get it).
Does that work?
Whatchu talkin' bout, Willis?
http://ih.advfn.com/p.php?pid=squote&cb=1224778781&symbol=AMEX%3ADIG
BTW, I know what you're referring to - it defaults to the old NYSE:DIG (Disney Digital). Homeboy there owes me a symbol cleanup for a load of symbols. The OTCBB/Pinks have been spot on, but his NYSE/NAZ/AMEX symbols are a little off.
Currently, no - but there may be provisions for that in the future and any current subscribers would be offered it.
Churak - that was due to the fact that ADVFN doesn't have that newswire. Since the focus is largely US stocks here, not sure how important getting CNW Group Newswire is....
Note that it did catch the Edgar filing.
LMAO! Classic!
BTW, thanks for reminder on pizookies - haven't been by there in ages.
I don't believe that to be an issue at all. I think that disclosure is necessary on posts that are made - not the profile.
The disclosure is there - just as an icon.
Each post is covered, obviously.
The interim solution may be allowing you guys to insert your iHub disclosure link in your signature until we have a more permanent solution. That'll cover you on historical stuff, yeah?

FYI to All:
I've now sent out a message to all folks who I think need to be signed up as IRPs (thanks to the Admin team and you guys for pointing them all out). Anybody you guys see after tomorrow with a disclaimer in their profile or signature who isn't listed as an IRP, please let me know. I'll be sinking my fangs in as needed....
