hi para and to all. would it be too hard to explain the falling wedge reversal? would that be drawing the tops and btms to the apex breakout? this is for ivan. this is one of tom c. tout from mkwt and now is gone from the cbs stuff for releasing information to soon in the text laws of journalism.
SPSC seems to make a new high every week. they have something that others have needs for their product.
it does look in the overbought range this week.
one thing i don't see any real spikes and that is good for them. this is how hlsh chart did and topped out in the $6.00 area.
we will have to look at the whole pic for the HQNT.

Universal Express and SCI Agree to a Sale Back
Wednesday April 21, 12:30 pm ET
NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--April 21, 2004--Universal Express, Inc. (OTCBB:USXP - News), has reluctantly agreed to sell back SCI to its former shareholders. The Company decided to do so as a result of the "inaccurate and defamatory press release irresponsibly and hastily given out by agents of the Security and Exchange Commission prior to our now scheduled December 2004 court date. The resale of SCI has caused further economic damage to Universal Express and its shareholders. A great deal of concern and apprehension was voiced by SCI's insurance carriers, financial institutions and clients regarding the SEC public complaint leveled against USXP. Some clients did not want SEC inquiries if USXP remained as principal owner. The SCI shareholders decision to request a repurchase of the stock was motivated by the SEC's press releases. Therein, existed our dilemma" said, Richard A. Altomare, President & CEO.
"Should we have maintained ownership and thereby subjected SCI to irrevocable damages caused by the retaliatory SEC press releases or do we simply maintain all of our strategic and delivery partnerships with SCI, eliminate $7,000,000 in long-term balance sheet debt, increase cash flow by recapturing our down payment and some profit, and finally enter into a first right of refusal purchase agreement after our lawsuit against the SEC filed in Miami Federal district court is concluded. On behalf of Universal Express we chose to protect a very fine Company, its clients and its employees. Our decision will enable SCI to continue its excellent relationships and impeccable reputation, which have been tainted by unfounded, irresponsible and retaliatory behavior of an agency that now alone is responsible for the loss of a highly potential but now former subsidiary. How ironic that the agency perceived to protect shareholders has become the one that circumvents the judicial process by its unfounded and hastily issued press releases."
"This transaction will definitely be added to our list of damage claims caused by the SEC in our naked short selling and abuse of power lawsuit filed against them on March 2nd."
"Our shareholders and supporters know the real cause of this action: our original lawsuit filed which asserts that no agency, no matter how powerful, is above the laws of our Nation and that no agency, no matter how powerful, can suppress the truth and misuse its powers. With power must come responsibility" concluded, Mr. Altomare.

hi arctec, and good morning to all. msev , there is news for them today.
how it will play remains to be seen. these are some wells in texas that an oil concern wants from them. wells must be good attraction and maybe msev is doing something right in the energy
business.
frcd does the drilling for them.
even canada gets into the mix of things today but it is pretty general for them.
The TSX composite slid 99.84 points or 1.15% to 8602.98, and the small cap
Venture index shed 27.22 points or 1.51% to 1773.53. Volume at the TSX
composite amounted to 277 million shares.
Statistics Canada said that consumer inflation was 0.7% in March, unchanged
from the previous month. February and March consumer prices posted the
slimmest increases since December 2001. The core rate of inflation rose
1.3% in March after posting an increase of 1.1% in February amid higher
prices for clothing, travel and autos.
In testimony before the Senate Committee on Banking, Trade and Commerce,
Bank of Canada Governor David Dodge said that the country must support
higher productivity, instead of attempting to increase hiring in the
economy. The Central Banker also said the country's economy would continue
to underperform over the next 18 months.
Major bank stocks were pressured Tuesday. Toronto Dominion Bank (TSX: T.TD)
subtracted 1.45% to $45.48 and Bank of Montreal (TSX: T.BMO) retreated

Gold producers, which are a component of the materials subgroup, dove
4.45%. Placer Dome (TSX: T.PDG) fell 4.81% to $20.78 and Wheaton River
(TSX: T.WRM) gave up 7.4% to $3.63.
Information technology issues slid 2.36% amid weakness for Nortel Networks
(TSX: T.NT). The telecom equipment maker surrendered 5.1% to $7.25 after
its rival Lucent Technologies noted that its sales growth would not be as
strong as anticipated this year. Elsewhere in the group, Research in Motion
(TSX: T.RIM), which is known for its BlackBerry wireless email device, gave
up 4.42% to $134.40. Sierra Wireless (TSX: T.SW) bounced 1.43% higher to
$46.66 after losing 18% of its market value on Monday.
Ivanhoe Mines (TSX: T.IVN) gave up 8.08% to $8.53 a day after the company / hugo
announced it was looking to sell a piece of its Turquoise Hill gold and
copper deposit in Mongolia.
Cott Corp (TSX: T.BCB), which is the world's largest bottler of store-brand
soft drinks, said profits jumped 40% in the first quarter as it
strengthened its presence in Europe and North America. The company's shares
jumped 3.38% to $41.29.
Rogers Communications (TSX: T.RCI.B) said the weaker Canadian dollar pushed
its first quarter results into the red. The company, which has cable,
media, and wireless operations, reported a first quarter loss as
double-digit sales growth and stronger operating profit were offset by a
foreign exchange loss on its U.S.-denominated debt. Rogers Communications
added 2.05% to $24.90. Rogers Wireless (TSX: T.RCM.B), which is 55.5% owned
by Rogers Communications, reported a net addition of 83,200 voice and data
subscribers with the average churn the number of subscribers leaving the
service dipping to 1.73%. The wireless company dialed up a gain of 1.78%
to $34.86.
CoolBrands International (TSX: T.COB.A) dipped 5.77% to $23.70 after
reporting its fiscal second quarter profits surged 146% as it integrated
recent acquisitions. The company, which sells frozen desserts including
Eskimo Pies and Yogen Fruz, said it made $12.8 million or 23 cents per
share. That's up from year ago earnings of $5.2 million or 10 cents per
share. Sales jumped 143% to $138.5 million.
Isotechnika (TSX: T.ISA) fell 15.25% to $2.50. The company said its partner
the Swiss pharma giant Roche Pharmaceuticals would not participate in the
development of its psoriasis drug, ISA247, because its interest in
dermatology has ebbed. Isotechnika expects the drug will have a secondary
application helping transplant patients offset organ rejection. Roche may
decide to return to the partnership with Isotechnika for the transplant
indication by the end of mid-stage trials.
In deal news, Sleeman Breweries (TSX: T.ALE) said it had agreed to buy
Unibroue (TSX: T.UBE), the Quebec-based brewer, for $36.5 million. Sleeman

its 2005 EBITDA earnings by $5 million to $6 million. Shares of Sleeman
added 1.01% to $12.06, while Unibroue put on 2.75% to $5.24.

excerpt from greenspanomics today. it is interesting but nothing new.
04/20/04 : greenspanomics
The Federal Reserve Chairman told the Senate Banking Committee that signs
of deflation were no longer an issue as the U.S. economy has gathered steam
in recent weeks. He also noted that banks are likely to be much better at
weathering interest rate changes than they had been in the past. The
commentary revived jitters about rising interest rates.
