GM, Wing. I can get to spooztoolz.com this morning. Looks like it normally does to me.
Hi, Wing. Don't know anywhere else on the Web where you can find good Spooz discussion (I don't go to RB very often). At this point I can't think of much to discuss that hasn't been already talked about.
It would be very interesting at this time to be on the "inside" I'm sure there's lots to discuss there. We outsiders must watch and wait, picking up what bits of information we can here and there.
I agree, Wing. I might be wrong, I don't think we should expect the release at the beginning of April. If they are working with other brokerages, and getting ready for a marketing campaign, I'm sure there will be a lot of work to do with testing and so forth. I'm sure they will be careful and do all they can to ensure a smooth launch.
So I think it could be a waiting game and it might be easy to get impatient.
Thanks very much, Wing, for asking the question and sharing the answer!

Allie, According to the PR, SWARM trading is due to start April 1. I'm saying April 2, since that's next Monday.
The software must be ready to go.

lol, Wing. I just checked the ticker - at least 10 4999 trades today.
I wonder how much commission he pays per trade?
Allie,
I am wondering if this is a signal that the dilution we have been seeing has ended. There have been quotes from Paul lately that the current dilution phase was coming to an end soon.
I guess time will tell.
This is a very welcome PR - especially, IMO, the fact that insider shares will be restricted "for the forseeable future"(Paul's words) This shows the confidence that management has in the company's future.
It is hard to think of a scenario where they would take this step if they had concerns about the viability of the company.
"The swap of our common shares for Series B Preferred is a sign of management's long-term belief in and commitment to the company," explains Spooz CEO Paul Strickland. "It effectively prevents liquidation of insider's stock so that we can not sell under rule Rule 144 for the foreseeable future."
I think Rule 144 restricts stock for two years. (Please someone correct me if I'm wrong)
lol, I always wondered if that was you, Wing. I remember in the past you would put in small test buys with odd numbers.
That was strange. I never saw the b/a move.
Allie, I think we can see the importance of the "super-excel" middleware aspect of SpoozToolz as it relates to SWARM.
"SWARM is a combination of high-frequency proprietary arbitrage models that exploit local and spatial price discovery. Its unique weighted components allow for “dynamic” co-integration balancing between multiple correlated markets. Because its success is based on the automation of quantitative strategies, SWARM’s trading performance is not dependent on any specific market direction, but rather on precise micro-second calculations to identify opportunities as they arise."

Speedy number crunching would be essential for SWARM, imo.
Thanks very much for the info, Allie.
lol, Allie.
I hope you are right. I wonder if you could shed some light on these questions I have been wondering about.
How long does it normally take for a Pink Sheet company to up list to the OTC?
What are the hoops that have to be jumped through?
Would it be likely that a company would announce its application to uplist before the request is granted?
TIA (I always appreciate the input from your research)

Thanks very much, Wild. Paul has been very good about answering my emails. I try not to bother him too much.
Thanks, that sounds like a simple way to go about it.
I have a general question about calling Spooz for those who have done so. Who is the person to ask for? I have emailed Paul in the past and he usually responds when he can, but I doubt he would be the one to field calls from investors.
TIA
No one's selling at the bid yet. em
Interesting,
Since the bid has been lowered to .0025 and the ask to .0027, there have been no trades.
Thanks very much, Allie.
From the recent disclosure, (p. 84 in the PDF file)
"Spooz has adequate capital, or the ability to raise adequate capital through small regulation D 504 placements to multiple identified sources, to sustain itself through Q1, 2007. Spooz will require additional financing and is considering a number of alternatives including the filing of a Regulation A offering with the SEC before product launch. The proceeds of this offering will be allocated to provide adequate marketing, development and operating capital sufficient to finance Spooz to profitability".
Could anyone provide any details on what is involved in a Regulation A offering?
TIA

Thanks, Wing.
I have never had a problem trading SPZI with Fidelity.
GM Wing,
Why would Scottrade put a restriction on trading SPZI?
The disclosure states "It is projected that Spooz will acquire in excel [excess] of 10,000 customers in the next twelve months and revenues will exceed $7 million"
Spooz is apparently hopeful they can exceed these benchmarks.
If my calculations are correct, 10,000 is about 0.17 percent of the potential customer base of TD Ameritrade and Options Express (Approx 6m).
That makes sense, Wild. There is an "(unaudited)" note in the disclosure which indicates that they don't have the auditor's stamp of approval at this point.
Thanks!
Question:
Today's PR states "This document includes background information on the Company and its management team, a description of its products and operations, as well as management's certified financial statements for Spooz."
Are the numbers in the disclosure then, the certified ones? Or will there be an additional release?
tia!
Hey Allie,
Did you notice at the end of the last PR there was no mention of Equititrend? I wonder if they are gone.

SWARM is projected to generate significant revenue for the company, and at the same time demonstrate the capabilities of the SpoozToolz and Fractalz3 technologies.
I wonder if SWARM will be available as a black or grey box module for anyone to purchase and use.
My interpretation is that in the calendar year 2010 Spooz projects that they will earn at least $10.7m in revenues. Presumably, their projections for each calendar year until then will be less.
Maybe this was posted on their Website early by mistake. Their latest four PRs have been released in the morning before markets are open. Perhaps we'll see it in the press tomorrow morning.
The only source I can find for this PR at the moment is the Spooz web site. I checked Yahoo and Business Wire and it is not there.
Word must be getting out because there has been a significant uptick in volume since the release about an hour ago.
Anyone find it elsewhere?
Thanks, Wild
An interesting development.
Today there were no trades below 0.003. The bid for much of the day was .0025 and .0028, but no one sold at those levels.
There were no trades below .0028 today, even though the bid was down at 0.0023 and 0.0024 for the majority of the day.
Americano, I noticed that QUIN moved up on the bid side this week to 0.002. When he first showed up on the bid (a few weeks ago) he was at 0.001.
I have the same, Allie. Looks like a lot of AH trade settlements again.
Thanks, Wing! I feel honored. (Not sure what a membermark is) :)
OT: Business Week Article: Stock Trades Without Borders
The article deals with purchasing stocks directly from foreign exchanges. It mentions two brokers, E*Trade and Interactive Brokers who are making global trading available. Spooz has mentioned that the global trading environment is very important in their business model.

Allie, I agree. IMO, there are many traders who don't think of pink sheet sub-penny stocks as long-term investments. Their interest is to get in and out with a profit. A few hundred dollars here and there will satisfy them.
I don't see Spooz as a typical sub-penny pink stock. From all I have learned over the last year, they are company with much potential worth the risk of a longer term hold.
I like the fact that the PRs we see have been factual, reflecting substantial moves by the company.
If it's not retail or institutional, does that mean it's market makers trading with each other? Or perhaps brokerages buying? I don't understand how it all works!
Thanks, Allie
