BB, Grab a Snickers
I can't tell you the difference in the calm flow of great posts these past few days I've had on my vetted roster lineup. The nice additions of Jeerio, AVII and FlyFisher recently have helped wiped out my 3 allowed sarcastic rants directed at the you know who's.
Disclosure: It is my belief that no Longs on this board live in Pixie Dust Hollow and wear rose-colored Ray-Bans, contrary to what my "ignores" think or warn us about, and I approve this message.
The 5 ignore options are great. Use them until RI results. The rest will recognize the results.
Regardless, he's included on the list. Honestly, we've read plenty of dire warnings of not being diversified, etc. This isn't the JV AMRN investment club. HD has handed out plenty of rope over the past few months and JL hit his threshold recently. Most of us are on the same page, I think. Let's start the new quarter a week early without anymore FUD (f'in useless drivel)
So here is my one request of you Raf. Ignore Whalatane on this board for the sake of speedy reading which benefits the other readers also and drill him on YMB- you know his other alias. I'm making the pledge to do so here along with the "devil" and one other. You always flame the fire with him. Try it for a bit and I guarantee a better board because of it.
"U"nderdog, no one needs saving around here.
Thanks Raf/AVII77 for info and link on#75645.
I think we have another confirmed number on our AMRN lottery ticket. All- read and re-read about this upcoming trial and just smile during the long weekend. DD can also mean double-down.
I'd trade Rick Harrison for Michael Phelps in his run to more Olympic swimming medals this summer getting his daily EPA from Vascepa. Just a thought.
Zip, a certain bird from down under will not follow your card analogy to AMRN status; thus the aloof questioning and spin is surely moments away.
What is also "simplistic" is your assertion that these west coast RI enrollees all uniformly adapted your three basic "lifestyle changes" (I won't list them because we've all memorized them from previous posts) and are basically walking clones of you? I fully disclosed that I'm not adding anything scientific or mathematic to the group. I just like stoking the hamster wheel of a few to see if the redundancy serum needs refilling. You and your balcony buddy got an earful last night from all directions. There's plenty more I'm sure if the non comprehensive view lingers on.
It's got to hurt you know where sitting on the AMRN fence for so long?
Well, this should sum it up for some disgruntled posters recently. From Wikipedia. Mogwai (Chinese culture)
The word mogwai is the transliteration of the Cantonese word meaning "monster", "evil spirit", "devil" or " demon". The mogwai is also a gremlin type animal.
I feel very fortunate to have paid $40 co-pay BCBS for the first 6 months and then sign up for the coupon and only pay $9.00 each month for the last 15. Best $9.00 spent each month ever in my life. 4/g daily 120 month.
Cool post.
Let's not get too deep into over exaggeration here like less than 0% of trial failure because I feel like AMRN execs are trying 150% to get us to the promise land.
I may have used too nice a metaphor. It's more like the few crows that frequent the board around here.
I believe the JAZZ reference was a year or two ago but the point was that at one time JAZZ was trading in the $1.50 range and then obviously took off. Some sage poster here said there are potential similarities with AMRN and the other indications that EPA could help treat/ prevent/ cure down the road other than TG. It's always been in the back of my mind contrary to the thinking of the Mynah birds here who warn us daily of our individual investments.
Perhaps these 2 a year off-label deals are setting up to a future valuation reminiscent to JAZZ? This possibility has been stated on this board before.
I'd say that today's 110 plus posts were the most sad collection of tales and crying in green beer that I can recall. The daily PPS fluctuations are just a side show for MM gamers. Sure, we all wish we could day trade our own personal share allotment without risking the real shares. Who's comfortable doing that at this stage? Even Mog isn't, which is why he's just bemoaning the day to day actions. He and the other balcony characters know, as we all do, that we have to stay tethered to our shares because a random spark of company news one day could light the rocket. Invariably, the day you start day trading for pennies here the revolving door we've witnessed the past months turns into a exit-only.
Kiwi, are you serious with your exclusivity question? We've already been benefiting 4 years, not suffering with zero protection. Then there is the 30 month stay. How about patents good to 2030? Did you understand the recent 2020 talk? How about less "thinking out loud" and more reading comprehension? It's all been thoroughly discussed here multiple times. There is nothing hiding under a rock around here. You make a cup of coffee nervous.
BB and Mog are throwing verbiage around like crazy uncles at a family gathering. Good grief
Thanks Cheerio and JL for the replies. Nice clarification.
Zip, I struggle with the amount of attention given to the "shorts". It's not like we're fighting a Bill Ackman type in Herbalife. We've been at beaten down prices now for too long for any long term "short" holder to keep hanging on with an AMRN bet that this vaporizes to $.02, given all the scientific news and court proceedings. So, say you shorted back at $5,4,3,2 a long time ago; you don't close out at $.78 or more recently at $1.17? Low share volume(except for today)tells me we're all sitting idly by awaiting a binary event.
Cheerio, a clean-cut summary. You brought it as Jim Rome would say. Thanks
"White Noise" is a song by a music group called Mogwai. Double entendre
The year 2020 is our friend people and some here need 20/20 vision to see that.
The paranoia around here this afternoon/tonight is fever pitch.
Like the specific date that the stock traded at $2.50 and AMRN executives defied your suggested dilution call? Couldn't resist that lay-up..... Yeah Mog, I'll agree with you. Sit back and wait for 3/18 and beyond.
It's like AMRN is in pre IPO status these days with current PPS. BP and major institutions ( maybe one in the same in this particular case) are circling the wagons and musical chairs slowly plays until possible R-I interim look. When the music stops, the PPS pops to the $10-100 figures that we've all hashed out based on projected sales.
Hey Raf, here's your true worry and cold sweat dream from your previous post with disclosure of "Near 0% chance of it happening but imagine this scenario"
Apple having to design a Bat Phone for the FBI/NSA/CIA.
Thanks Pitt, I read the thesis and say this. 967 events is plenty to figure out where we're headed with the remaining trial participants. We're not dealing with toxicity issues and such. Safety isn't an issue. Besides CVD reduction, people are unknowingly benefiting from other positives associated with EPA, as touched on this site over the few years courtesy of Zum and others. Bummer for the placebo people. IMO, great interim efficacy results and Vascepa will have earned it's stripes from FDA boot camp. The meter maids at the FDA can go chalk some other tires for the rest of the year after R-I interim...... It's Metaphor Monday:)
I will chime in Kiwi with a comparative example. Did you read The Big Short or see the movie? Berry and like minded individuals saw the light at the end of the tunnel that was the tsunami of defaults on the horizon. We here see the light that is EPA and it's multiple benefits about to become game changing in healthcare. We buy and wait. So to your Vegas reference- no diversifying for me- I'm all in and have been for 2 years. One ticker only on my phone. In some twisted way, I have gained a little more patience over the last two years. Wouldn't and couldn't have done it without all members here on ihub.
Cheerio (someone else would have given you the same posting nickname in time) is coming with the goods. Succinct and locked in. I've read your posts on stocktwits as well. Glad to have you also. As you know, we're in countdown mode around here- just without a specific date of when the clock reads 0.00 and the corks pop.....I think Kiwi has already ordered a California license plate RRR 15 in the special throwback black and yellow letter combo we can get here now.
Uh oh, feelings are hurt. I don't recall a warning months ago. Aren't you supposed to say "stay thirsty my friends" after every post?
Probably a safe assumption Raf. That means you could start a new efficacy model with the earliest interim date of 2/2/16 now. However, low odds that JT purchases the day before possible interim date. So 1/11 date is no longer of use to us anymore in computation talks.
Maybe it's patronizing but who cares. I'm glad you stuck around. Two weeks ago you were supposedly gonzo. I'm going to enjoy the next 30 days of opinions between you and the Usual Suspects.
I will admit HD that his 23 posts in the last 3 years are of more substance than my 95 in the last 6 months. That being said, to talk about any percentages below 15% at this stage is going backwards from the last year and a half. I also know who is valued on this board and who isn't appreciated. No need for a pecking order or ladder system this far into the journey. I've taken my 6 off ignore because it's all just fodder until interim, BO, or..fill in the blank.
Raf/ Bi, stop the semantics with these convoluted calculations and 1/1000 guesstimate ranges. It's dizzying at best. How about dissecting potential 2/17 letter content instead? We already have a decent grasp on efficacy models presented over the last year. Bi seems late to the conversations. You don't need to hold his hand.
"Proceed With Confidence" says it all!
Top left corner of Reduce-It page. Great one page source of info. Game on friends.
Just buy yourself 300 shares instead. Baby steps
Main, we've seen this movie before with BB. His feathers get wet and he needs a little time to dry off. Mercurial sums it up best. He'll be back. Just a little ticked off at congress( who isn't these days) with regards to the AMRN/FDA gong-show. It's understandable to have disappointment over the years.
All this waiting has forced me/us to become more patient. Tolerant? No, There's still a few yardbirds here that chime 3-6 word posts who are useless. I believe every conceivable combo of R-I numbers and dates have been levied and now we're waiting for the DMC smoke signal at the Vatican.
