A bright investment here.... think it has bottomed... and hopefully runs on good news combined with a Santa rally... imo

I have started buying into GW Pharma.... I bought in at $US101.66 and in Europe at €93. This, like all the canna companies, has been oversold. GW Pharma has two profitable medicines on sale, one of the them in the US, I think the first cannabis medicine allowed for sale in the USA. The UK politics is interesting: if the Lim Dems become kingmakers in a hung parliament with the general election on Dec 12, then they will be asking for the legalisation of cannabis... and GW Pharma is in pole position in the UK, it being the biggest canna company with huge huge greenhouses full of cannabis plants that are being heated from the by-product heat from British Sugar. However, if the Conservatives have a landslide win on Dec 12, then we might see more liberalising of the medical cannabis regulations in the UK, especially for children (and maybe for patients suffering from chemo pains) because Philip May, husband of former prime minister Theresa May, and a gang of wealthy Tory activists are heavily invested in GW Pharma, which has more cannabis based medicines in the research pipeline. This is the share price forecast from today's (05-December-2019) Financial Times for GW Pharma:
"The 15 analysts offering 12 month price targets for GW Pharmaceuticals PLC- ADR have a median target of 200.00, with a high estimate of 260.00 and a low estimate of 160.00. The median estimate represents a 88.84% increase from the last price of 105.91."
spot on, Funman.... I'd say you and Willie would get on like a joint on fire...
Willie Nelson, 86, who has long preached the benefits of marijuana has STOPPED smoking pot - 65 YEARS after he rolled his first joint - to 'take better care of himself'
Willie Nelson has had a number of breathing related health issues
After smoking weed for decades Nelson says it has taken a toll on his health
Nelson has long been a campaigner for the legalization of marijuana
He smoked his first joint in 1954 but now tends to vape and use edibles
Country superstar has no plans to stop touring and has lined up dates in 2020

Two medicinal cannabis products approved for use in Ireland
https://www.thejournal.ie/medicinal-cannabis-products-approved-4914836-Dec2019/
TWO MEDICINAL CANNABIS products have been approved and registered for use in Ireland under the new Medical Cannabis Access Programme.
The two products are Aurora High CBD Oil Drops and CannEpil.
I am buying CGC today at 19.96....
Yeah.... I am down a dollar at the moment, but I think mid to long term this is a sound company with excellent medicines, and one never knows what happens with the UK elections.... the Lib Dems want to legalise canna... if it is another hung parliament then the Lib Dems could hold the balance whether it is a Conservative or a Labour government.... meaning the Lib Dems could be kingmakers... and if so they will demand easing of medical canna restrictions and probably go for full legalisation Canada style... if so, then GW Pharma is in pole position to fly.... a lot of ifs, but it's all to play for...
Just bought my first shares in GWPH today at 101.66.
Also bought GW in Frankfurt earlier...
I am thinking this could go run...
man, you have been badly treated... hopes QuietStorm that you ride a karma wave to prosperity here in Canopy and your other weed plays...
you deserve it, man.
I am buying today...
wow... private prisons keep pot illegal.... what a f...d up world...
yeah, have a friend in California, decent family man, law abiding, wealthy, property owner, clever businessman, straight and honest, but the cops came in one night and robbed him, yeah just robbed him.... the cops.... and nothing he can do about it, if he wants to stay alive... what a f...d up world the west is...
lots of interesting smart conversations on this board... a pleasure to come in here... thanks to you all... I am still holding my aurora shares... this will turn... as day follows night... this movement / industry is too big for the backwards to kill it... reminds me of rock and roll when radio stations would not play it saying it was a fad that would pass... those radio stations passed and we are still rocking and rolling.... rolling another one... cannacheers to all.
spot on, Alaskawolf...
Funman, the bureaucrats blew it big time...
They have 24 canna shops at the moment for a population of 14.5 million people in Ontario...
The OCS lost over CAD$40million in one year of legalisation...
how f...d up are bureaucrats who couldn't run a pee up in a brewery
they lost 40million on selling canna to the most glutinous canna market in the world....
Investors suffered badly over this... (I need a blow)
However, if they allow the free market (regulated market) to run from January then will we see 40 to 60 canna shops opening every month...?
That ought to bring PPS up across this sector
Hey, Kush, Does this mean that 700 to 1,000 canna shops will open next year in Ontario ...?
Hopes so...!
They have, what, 24 canna shops at the moment for a population of 14.5 million people... ffs

sure guys on the street are making more than these bureaucrats...
Investors have suffered badly over this... some down 60% - 80% because of these f...d up bureaucrats (+ some dumb managements)....
However, if they allow the free market to run from January then we will see 40 maybe up to 60 canna shops opening every month...
In two to three quarters we will have our money back and profit ( I hope )...
great big renting cheque arrived today... cannacheers DE...

Thanks, thehumanchessmachine, very apt article, which I have transported to another board to inform the discussion over there.
I was struck by:
"...those who switched would have at least a 13 per cent reduced risk of cardiovascular events, such as heart attacks..."
even little bit helps humanlife to hold onto life.
maybe they will have a name change to Giantcanopy ... lol
thehumanchessmachine posted this on another board, thanking him as I transport it to the Canopy board to help inform the debate here:

YEAH that was wild and scary at times, Mt69sinai, but I picked up some more to add to my long term holdings here...
just think what Aphria's PPS will be when Ontario opens up to a thousand new canna stores in 2020.... double, treble...?
love it, MX10001
Oh my mama told me there'll be days like this
when he said that I thought wtf... 40 stores a month... I hadn't read anywhere except 25... pure madness 25 for such a huge population...
1000 seems more where the market will go...
so that could be 80 stores a month...
some stores will probably just put their new legal name above their dispensary and continue on trading, except now with legal weed...
If if got a license I'd have a store open in six to 12 weeks... but I bet those Canadians are far faster than an old European like me.
