Congrats to all you longs that have held without wavering from the mid double digits to now. You all have more fortitude than I have had and even though I sold two thirds of my position today, I still wish you all the best. If it reaches a point where I am certain it won't retrace to the 2.30s I am not too proud to chase. After all, none of us own this anticipating we are anywhere near the end of an epic and storied run.
I added another bunch today, this looks like it is prepared for a steady run up with some explosive moves long the way. As we approach the dividend, this could really shoot up.
Yeah, I 'll give him credits for having the guts to make the call, but I didn't see it falling back that far. I sold some at 1.68 and bought it all back and more at 1.71. Sold 100k today at 2.40 holding my core of 50k. Looks to me like it will continue to run Monday though. Good luck longs.
Reasonable was the chart guy who made some decent calls regarding the PPS movement of INO, provided some good insight and observations.
The board police must have determined that he violated policy and pulled him from the board.
Fear the power. Long may INO run.
Free Reasonable.
Jumped in at 8.55 today. My dirt bike TA says bike could not navigate that down slope so a correction upward is in order. $9.25 in a few days I believe. Stay strong longs, downdrafts started by questionable downgrades and smear tactics seldom end well for the perps.
Massive short squeeze BTH this week. Check out charts, check article Seeking Alpha Thursday, this is going to be a massive mover.
Maybe more akin to the robber barons of the late 19th and early 20th centuries. Hearst, Carnegie, Mellon, Rockefeller, Vanderbilt. Only the property these guys are stealing Is intellectual versus real estate.
FYI, short squeeze underway at BTH this month, nice opportunity to reload the coffers. Enjoy.
BTH Blyth --TA shows massively oversold and major short squeeze is setting up, check out Seeking Alpha article of Thursday and lowman's excellent charting on the Money 101 board today. Join the fun!
Article on Seeking Alpha spells it out. Trying to reach out to company's distributors ( thousands) to join the fun as they have probably been decimated by the massive shorting.
Last time this guy called one of these about 5 years ago, LOCM went from 3s to 13 in about 4 days.
Thanks for the chart, hope you get in on the fun. The more the merrier.
Pass the word, nothing is more gratifying than to see short sellers get pounded in to oblivion, except making some money in the process. Looking at how this has gotten smashed over the past year, a 50 to 100% move in the next month is not out of the question.
Nice, fun will really begin next week and might last for several days, even weeks as events unfold. Stay tuned.
What we need is a good short squeeze like the one setting up for BTH today. Fireworks for sure when all the big players return on Tuesday.
If Inovio releases any news before open Tuesday morning, away we will go. If not, once the conferences begin and the ongoing advances are made public, we will climb again.
AZN paid half a billion for pre clinical monoclonal antibodies! Think about that. By the time they come out of trials, no one will even care about them
Enjoy the long weekend longs.
Short squeeze just like Herbalife had now happening with BTH

Enjoy Herbalife followers
Short squeeze on play BTH.
Seeking Alpha article after close yesterday.

I know this author's work well, he does not post short calls often (every few years at most), but when he does, look out!
His last call was a short squeeze on LOCM about 4 years ago and it went from $3 to $13 within a few days.
That he is calling this the most highly leveraged short squeeze as a percentage of float that he has ever seen tells me the party's over for the easy short money here. I'm getting on board for this one, should be fun.
American bulls posted a buy yesterday, looks like they have been on target with this for some time. I remain long, looking to add some this week.

Creeping up slowly again, might we make a slow play toward the 1.90 mark again?
Looking forward to a great day tomorrow, time to pack it in for the night as my typing skills are fading fast.
All due respect to your opinion, but I could not disagree more. I bought and held stocks only to see my positions get decimated by a bad market. Trading wisely enables you to protect your gains. There is always a risk that a stock will run away from you but that's the trade off to locking in some gains, you may leave some on the table. I know it sounds stupid, but when, absent of tangible news, a stock moves up or down and the slope is too steep for a dirt bike to climb, it will be overbought or oversold. I am comfortable that I will get that right 8 out of 10 times if I maintain my position long enough. So far I have guessed right 4 out of 5 times in this run from my initial position in the .60s. My only mistake was buying some back too early, but I was able to right that error by averaging down with my last buys on Monday. I never sold at the highest high or bought at the lowest low but it has there is enough margin for error to both protect my profits and add to my holdings. Good luck to though if you are long, whatever your style.
I disagree, SA articles for me have been a great source of opportunity. I read about Oncosec on SA, which when doing more due diligence, led me to Inovio. It didn't take long to realize Inovio was a much better prospect than ONCS, though I do own a little ONCS.
Look at SA as a resource like any other, to be taken with a grain of salt.
I agree with you about the carpetbaggers but we can't change that, parasites and vultures are opportunistic. I will trade this stock to leverage my position, but I remain as positive as anyone who buys and holds. I find the people who bash or praise depending on their short term position reprehensible, but it is their right.
Amazon, Netflix and nearly every other game changing stock went through what INO is going through right now. While articles may impact the short term PPS, the ultimate value will be determined by their success. I will never root against them and I will never short the stock. I view it just like fantasy football, I don't do it cause it goes against my grain to root for the enemy or worse yet, against my team.
You crack me up mrpatinmn! This article prides objectivity and detail that will have a tremendous impact on this stock's PPS. Only investors can determine the value of this stock based on what they are willing to pay. We may begin to see a viral response (pun intended) of small investors initiating small long term positions as they seek not only the potential returns such a company could provide, but being able to say they invested in a company that is looking to eradicate the most insidious diseases on the face of the earth.
Arrrrghhh! Missed my chances to trade INO this morning, had to attend a funeral service, probably cost me at least 25 grand. (A friend's father). No good deed goes unpunished. Oh well there will be plenty more opportunities along the way. Hope some of you were able to take advantage of the spike.
Had my 48 hour slow roasted short ribs last week, melt in your mouth succulent. Kind of like this stock, looking forward to these vaccines starting to pop out of the cooker.
My plan tomorrow (if I can watch this enough) is to hope we get a breakout toward $2, see where it tops, and sell some into the second run at the top. If it goes the other way, no reason to sell, but will look to buy if it goes crazy low again, which I do not anticipate. Will not give up my core holdings though. Want to have a max position going into September conferences.
Good luck my long friends.
Re - read the transcript from the call, reaffirms my contention that 3q could be a real breakout that drives this to $2 plus. It is all in place for a huge 3q.
Ask yourself, why did I buy? If you bought on margin, uh oh! If not, the message hasn't changed but as long as there is fear the price will fall.
Been adding to my position all morning, promised myself if I got a chance down at this level I would buy more.
1.25 is not the epic year Kim spoke of, this is just an opportunity to add shares. If you must, turn it off and check back in a few months. If you are getting margin calls, learn from it and don't use other people 's money to fund speculative stocks.
Nice article. It might help the stock get some notice and if people listen to the call, especially the fact that revenues are tracking at $15 million + for 3 q and expenses will probably fall by $1.5 million, we could see 8 cents EPS. That could easily push us to $2+. I though the lack of visibility would drive it back to double digits, but this article could change that. I bought some more at close today, was hoping to wait for it to fall but that may not happen now.
This one does't behave like any normal stock, I expect a pullback to the 80 s before this one ever breaks 1.25.
I'm not a technical analysis guru, but I've had a good feel for this stock on 4 out 5 trades I made along the way up and down. There are probably quite a few posters here that got in for the first time above $2 that are nervous, holding for a pop back over 2.
I think we trade plus or minus 15 cents (1.30-1.60) until there is real news or until the conferences heat up. Then we can track back up to $2. We sat in the .60s for a long time. Now this has more than doubled and more than just PRs are needed to play it out.
If you bought it as a trade above $2 you can lick your wounds and walk away now, but where are you going to go? Gold might pop again soon but when?
Patience is not a characteristic many traders have, but good ones recognize when it is their best choice. Unless you are margined into this or are cash poor because you overloaded, I'd say look at this as a long term cap gain for 2014, or at least hold til end of year and take some of the short term cap loss, if there is one, in late December to offset other gains or this year.
But by then HPV data is just around the corner... I'm not selling any of mine unless we get another insane move up ( insane defined as based on the thin air of speculation only). So relax hang out and enjoy the next several months at least, it's your best move by far in my opinion.
Too funny, too true!
There is absolutely no logic to this move. An inhalable insulin just passed thru phase III. This will be the insulin delivery method of choice and why not? Mr. Market is cruel and illogical especially to the impatient. It is worth $5 billion here and more overseas. Bought some today and will buy more if it continues to fall.
Mmrich, your experience is the same as 90% of investors, anyone who says they bought all of their shares at 60 cents and sold at $3 was either very lucky or not entirely truthful.
I traded several times along the way with lesser numbers of shares bought at each level up. But re-entered too quickly and now have about a third of my max position at $2 dca.
My dirt bike TA was right, the slope became too steep for the best rider and it fell back, not without a concerted effort by the shorts and the hatchet men.
Still I never bought the stock expecting to sell at $3 so I'll continue to average back in to a full position over the next several weeks. Kim will say something at the conferences, or a partnership will be made that will move this uo 25 to 40% at minimum and put us right back into the same decision process as we did at $3, all in good fun.
They just keep lining these results up and the beauty of it is that the first vaccine to reach approval probably validates almost everything tha follows. I am sure they know this as well and it is why they are so excited by their progress. Thanks for the additional info.

Looks like great timing for you, congrats.
Looks like it is ready to run, and since they had earnings and their expenses are going way down, I expect nice 3q and 4q results and. 1.50 PPS before end of year.
Love my Roth, love my INO in my Roth.
