Good things take time, GREAT things just take a little longer folks - IMO Dean was a little naieve in thinking he could get everything done in August. If anyone has ever been involved in buying a business, things happen at the lawyers pace and most often that is in super slow motion. However we are close enough that the company was given a bridge loan to tide them over so it will happen when it happens, and sooner than later would, of course, be fine with me as well...

Now here is a News Release with some meat in it:the Magnum SRI custom compound has been able to incorporate more than 14% recycled content in both the tread and sidewall compounds of a light truck tire and actually had it provide performance parameters equal to and higher than the original compound. More below.
Makamai
All these test results were the result of independent testing and evaluation by the Rubber Research Institute of the Malaysian Rubber Board.
Based on these test results, what has been achieved here is historic, there has never been a case of scrap rubber/tire dust or powder, regardless of the technology employed that has ever exceeded a couple of percentile. Before this innovation exceeding 2 plus % recycled content in a tire compound always meant what is referred to in the industry as "catastrophic failure". History has been rewritten, the Magnum SRI custom compound has been able to incorporate more than 14% recycled content in both the tread and sidewall compounds of a light truck tire and actually had it provide performance parameters equal to and higher than the original compound. Obviously the content levels would be substantially higher in lower to medium level applications. Magnum SRI is currently unmatched having broken new technological ground in recycling whose impact and significance will be effect the entire rubber industry.
Magnum SRI's revolutionary compound's, technical reach and ability to perform in premium volume applications will not only ensure substantially improved viability for rubber product manufacturers but will make environmentally friendly "green" production the norm rather than the exception. Finally there is a real solution to the "Tire Mountains" and the environmental pollution from them. Magnum SRI activated custom compounds allow for substantial recycled content to be applied in nearly all volume applications cost effectively without appreciable loss of properties
Awesome news and the reason why I've been in this stock as long as I have. The company's business plan is coming together nicely and its great to see results better than expected.
Makamai
Appreciate the PM - non paying member but QASP might change that. The VLJ concept is going to take the Aerospace industry by storm, IMHO. Again as others have said, that's the main reason I'm a large shareholder here as well.
Makamai
No one knows that information except the Quasar insiders so we are all on a level playing field where that is concerned. But what we do know is the estimated revenue and earnings before taxes that these companies will provide, so adding the names really isn't all that important.
Makamai
Right on the money, and speaking of money, I know many of us would not be in the position we are today having purchased more shares and averaging down, than we would have had if the acquisitions had occurred earlier. So although waiting for that "big announcement" can be frustrating, at the same time there have been advantages for many of us who didn't get in when the price was in the sub pennys, in playing the waiting game.

CC - you stated " got out of this stock because the Manipulation appears real to me". Well welcome to the world of BB and pinkies!! That tells me that you are rather naive when it comes to understanding that MM manipulations with these types of stocks is common practice. However, to try and infer that the company has something to do with it is totally ridiculous and is another indicator of your naivety. Granted, there have been a lot of guru's promoting this stock, but then how would you get the word out to the investment community to entice more investors to get involved? As an investor I applaud the company's efforts to increase shareholder value and the steady but cautious way they are going about implementing their business plan. You may feel there are too many "fluff" NRs, I look at it as a company trying to be as transparent as possible. Many other stocks I've owned, the investors have constantly bitched because they couldn't get an update for months on end. With MDOR, we have been getting updates at a minimum weekly of late. And yes, my picks work out for me because I not only do my initial DD, but I'm updating it constantly. I've bought shares of MDOR from $.10 to over a buck and will continue to do so. I've also done some trading, but always shares that I have held for over a year to benefit from long term capital gains.
Makamai
He stated that in "Managements and analysis or plan of operation." if that was a serious question.

Surfguy, in the quarterly report Dean stated the following:"...The Company is anticipating growth in each of its subsidiaries to exceed 20% per year for the next two calendar years. Dean Bradley, CEO, is highly optimistic that all of these goals will be met, and is looking forward to building share value based on the completion of these efforts.

Thanks for the update - Sorry to see it happen but I understand how in today's market, being under capitalized and trying to start up a new business is going to fail every time.
Makamai
I agree as well - most stocks I've owned that were primed for a big run, happened after flushing out the weak hands. Just gives others an unexpected buying opportunity. Unfortunately there is nothing you can do to change MM behavior on these pinks.
Makamai
It's great to have friends like your buddy Wayne, to give you an overall perspective of what's ahead. As you stated, there have been some major break-thru's with light weight carbon steels which have much better impact resistance and would be an excellent choice to extend their applications in planes. They are also constantly working on improving and gaining more efficiency in new turbine designs and envelope characteristics. I think we have a real winner here as you said, and I'm deeply committed to it as I'm sure you are as well.
Makamai
I'll be watching along with you - lets hope for the best
Makamai
I totally agree with your philosophy - among other things, if you hold a stock for over a year you get the benefit of capital long term gains when you sell. Like you, I will most likely always own shares of this stock and several others I hold, unless of course it gets bought out which is always a possibility. The key, of course, is doing extensive DD before buying a stock and as long as the fundamentals don't significantly change for the worse, make an entry point and then buying on dips.
Makamai
I totally agree - too much volitility - I've never put a stop loss on a pink or a BB stock, but I normally do put trailing stops on big board stocks and options.
Makamai
Hi Neighbor...the fun is just about to start IMHO.
Makamai
Well they are having the face-to-face at the CEO's request and as I understand it, he is flying to meet w/IR - that tells me that the discussion isn't just casual update, there must be more to it or as you said, a video conference/e-mail/phone call would have sufficed.
Makamai
Don't forget the resultant NR that the IR would most likely draft for the CEO's review and approval...after all is said and done.
Makamai
Yep - that hammer that formed EOD tells a lot and I'm looking for confirmation tomorrow. I agree, most every stock I've owned had a wash out just before a major run. We'll soon see if QASP follows suit...
Makamai
Aloha Bsetzer - appreciate the kudos. I have an engineering background, I've run my own business and I'm retired now. I learned long ago to let the facts do the talking and to keep my emotions out of the decision making process. Where QASP goes, the facts tell me that at today's prices, this stock is a steal - where could you go to get into what is basically an IPO at these prices. Deals like this don't come around all that often and for those who see the light at the end of the tunnel, they will be handsomely rewarded IMHO of course...
Makamai
Aloha brikk - you got that right. The penny stocks have the most potential reward generally within a relative short timeframe compared to stocks on the big boards, however your risk tolerance level needs to be capable of handling it. The only way that can happen is by staying on top of your DD, so you can make the best decisions on a day-to-day basis. I'm very comfortable with my investment in QASP, and I know the CEO is doing the best he can considering all that is on his plate. In a sense, it's a learning curve for all involved with putting a conglomerate together. Not a simple process. Considering the number of acquisitions, and the requisit number of lawyers covering all sides, it will be a major accomplishment to get this thing closed by Christmas. If it happens any earlier than that, so much the better. In the meantime, the stock is going to do what the stock is going to do and you just have to roll with the punches, while staying on top of your DD. For me, today was an awesome day to pick up more cheap shares as I'm very comfortable with my DD and where I believe this stock is headed.
Makamai
Each investor has to decide what's important and what's not. To me, what's important is that Dean has stated in NRs that there are 4 acquisitions (updated to 6) with earnings before taxes in the 30 mil range. A bank has given them a 15 mil bridge loan, however there are always stipulations on what you can use that money for. He maintains an open door policy and compared to the majority of CEO's I've attempted to talk to is easy to reach. Has been given very favorable reviews by those investors who have gone to the company's offices and been given a tour. Facilities at Herlong airport have been verified as in the planning stage and a plane plus trainers have been purchased. Etc, etc... So if you are all upset simply because the bios of the managers havent' been updated on the websight, well each to his own I guess...
Makamai
First off, No investor on this board would have done a fraction of the DD that the lender did who provided the 15mil bridge loan to the company. That speaks volumes in itself. The CEO has indicated that were some former debts that he had to clean up which has required some dilution. If you think about it, the cheaper the stock price, the more shares it takes to pay a bill. The CEO has mentioned to some that the O/S shouldn't exceed about 450Mil - that was a guesstimate and he is still in the ballpark IMHO. I believe one of the reasons he is meeting with IR tomorrow is to provide answers to investors concerns - I would expect an NR by Monday latest after that discussion takes place...
Makamai
You only loose money when you sell a stock below what you paid for it. Paper losses are just that, paper losses. Anyone who has done his/her DD would see this as a buying opportunity to lower their average cost, if they haven't tapped out already, knowing what's ahead as far as the acquisitions go. Listening to all the whinning on this board today tells me that there are a lot of folks out there who don't have the stomach to deal with penny stocks and should be looking elsewhere for investing their hard earned money.
As many have said, no risk = no reward.
Makamai
A hammer is one of the more reliable candle formations and has about the highest percentage of reliability so we should see a turn around soon. I missed the last opportunity when the stock dropped to these levels, and was glad I had other stocks I could sell today that I'm up on. Lets hope the sellers and/or dilution is now at an end and the stock goes up to a more respectable level based on the near term acquisitions.
Today was an early Xmas gift - BIG TIME - I never thought I'd have the opportunity to buy shares in the 0.015s this close to the acquisitions being announced. The candle formation on the chart today (see Below) was a hammer which normally means the stock will move higher tomorrow. If you look at the chart around the first of August, you'll see we washed out and then rose to over 5 cents....

http:
The buyback will reduce the "float", but doesn't affect the O/S since the shares are going into the company's treasury vice being retired.
Makamai
Looks like most those who were in this play in the past must have sold out...The company will have to promo an investor awareness campaign if this stock is to begin to trade again. Considering the extremely low float it could explode with some volume..
Makamai
I totally agree Surf that many folks enthusiasm and short term price guesstimates are just that - pure guesses without their having much experience on how stocks with this sort of O/S and float trade. It would take a lot of volume pounding away at the ask for several days just to get this stock to a dime, breaking resistance levels of the previous highs of around $.045, $.055 and $.065; and there will be periods of consolidation following that. The announcements of the acquisitions completing will generate a lot of buying and will generate some high volume days, however it will take a considerable period of time for this stock to climb to the 50 cent level that some would like to give the impression will happen over night. We need to temper the irrational exhuberance on this board with a little common sense. Don't get me wrong, I would love to be proved wrong, but I seriously doubt it. All IMHO.
Makamai
Well WAMUQ is certainly a hot topic and has been for some time so like you said, there is money to be made but you must take a cautious approach. I like the odds on these plays, however compared to Lost Wages (lol)
Well at the present price, if anything to the positive takes place our money will be well spent at bargin basement prices. Definitely a lotto play but what the heck...I'm just throwing the petty cash fund at it when there has been a contribution (lol)
GLTA,
Makamai
I see roxy's posts have been getting deleted - if you can't stand the heat roxy, get out of the kitchen...the stock is consolidating nicely in the $1.30's for the next move up as the company sets up to expand worldwide with their new subsidiary Magnum Engineering International. Looks like fine powders will be their primary focus for awhile, and the market for them is HUGE!
Makamai
Unfortunately due to the very low volume, chart indicators are not very reliable. What this stock needs is a company sponsored promo of some sort to raise investor awareness. I suspect they will do that in time, but are presently concentrating on putting their merged companies together and getting some contracts on the road to becoming profitable.
Makamai
Entirely possible, however if they were to be bought out, then the new owner would most likely want to retain the "shell" and take advantage of the benefits of a public company. It's a gamble either way, but nothing ventured, nothing gained...
Makamai
I figure there are two ways this company can go - either totally crash and burn or get bought out and resurrected. Having a previous average of over 2 cents, I decided to chance um and average down today so I picked up 200K at .0028. Now my average is under a penny and either I've just blown 560 bucks or made a wise investment at these low levels. Time will tell....
Makamai
Looks like they are slowly putting a new company together and I had some loose change so picked up 1K at .4 today. Time will tell.
Makamai
A BIG A M E N to that W6!!
Mahalo ND for the detailed report - like you said, there may be a ray of sunshine peaking through the clouds that would save the corporation. Buy out details will tell the tail and I'm sure MMG will issue an NR if that happens. It could be sooner than later.
Makamai
Oh my gosh - it must be a conspiricy, call the cops, call the FBI, call the SEC, don't just report it roxy, DO something about it - buy some stock and watch is change...Duuuuuuuhhh
Makamai
Did that result from the court hearing?
