Credibility Crisis with Epanova.
I like the thought posted the other day. Buy AMRN and absorb the competition of Crapanova from within. Instant Oligopoly.
Well, in reading every post and most of Zu's studies since 2013, I'd say close to 1000+ hours of AMRN homework has given me the confidence needed to stay pot committed and add several times since August of 2012. The Holy Grail, that being R-IT, has never changed in scope of science or importance. In some twisted way of fate the whole FDA debacle will, IMO, make me a lot more dust in the pocket this year or next than if we were supposedly being BO late in '12. Patience is truly rewarded sometimes. The Big Short, in book form, kept me grounded and focused on the big picture these past two years. Truly looking forward to meeting the cast of characters that makes up this fraternal board.
Roger Altman, Evercore Executive Chairman, just said on CNBC that 3rd party investment info is short on substance. Conventional wisdom is somewhat useless. Bottom line, do your own work and DD and basically you'll be better off. The core group here helping each other with the science and numbers is just that example. We are in good hands, IMO, thanks to the you know who's.
I dare you to invest more than 10% in AMRN. You undoubtedly put more than 10% of your entire portfolio of time into this message board? Just poking fun.
Don't you think with NCE official that sub $2.00 PPS is an instant thing of the past? The short numbers are going to dissipate daily and weekly now. IF there is a need/ want to dilute,as you seem to ponder all too often, AMRN would do it at much loftier numbers this summer as R-IT moves closer and closer. No?
Let me get this straight. So this chart is us over the last 4 years? The approaching " I told you so" phase of 13/14 goes sub $.78? Lower lows before everyone finally sees the light at the end of the tunnel? All this happens with R-IT potentially days, weeks, a few months away? Oh, I know. Don't harm the messenger. Can't wait.
I'll take the over on 22% RRR and that number alone is all that matters at the end of the day for success. Right? This has been a constant struggle for some to comprehend for the last few years. Kiwi and Raf- you make cups of coffee nervous sometimes with your "but, what if it does this?" ... or "can you argue against yourself" just for the sake of some fun verbal diarrhea? I wonder how much more irrelevance continues between now and R-IT? Hasn't every combo play regarding R-IT stop or continuation been hashed out? How about us all trying to discern if just 10% of Zum's study posts over the years prove beneficial down the road and the impact of such for AMRN and Vascepa?
I'm not selling under 20 pre any BO talk so your example of losing a 5x multiple is mute FFSensitivity. I disclosed being sarcastic a few times because enough was enough. To peg future AMRN stock movements against a handful of other examples is meaningless IMO. We'll find out soon enough who's gut reaction is real time and not confined to triangles for direction. I took my training wheels off a long time ago.
Because they can be. One word: Manipulation.
You pumped your TA theory big and it coincided with a little rise but nothing significant in terms of interim analysis or possible soon to be R-IT data. That's the reason for my and other's sarcastic pokes at you. You seem hell bent on viewing your charts as the omnipresent path for AMRN and all stocks regardless of outside influences. Toss aside the 50 and 200 DMA and realize there is a low volume, small trading window going on now for nothing more than sport and a few pennies here or there. In other words, quite a few of us aren't interested in day trading strategies when we're all in awaiting the Binary of all Binaries. Can't imagine IMO too many newbies here at ihub soaking up triangle charts re: Vascepa's EPA benefits? I welcomed your addition to the board and may have even backed you in Raf rant. The incessant dire consequences of not following your charts lately have outworn its welcome.
Just in case he's reading your 'Protect the Investor' posts, his last name is Burry. I didn't spell it right in my original example months ago. Even though we have no clue when the exact date of R-IT results are released, you remain certain that we're following this magical, yellow brick road trading pattern as if on GPS. Illusory at best.
The days of hedge are long gone. I'm all in. It should very obvious to you most here are also and caution has been observed and practiced, thank you. Your "concern" now is/was Kiwi's diversity pitch a few years ago. Berry sold out of guilt because he absolutely gutted those banks and said enough is enough. He merely followed out his playbook till the end as I will do whatever the BO or post R-IT price reflects. You or any other Charlatan won't shake me out at this point. All of this is legalized gambling.
Perfect movie analogy Zum re: AMRN.
I've literally invested several hundred hours reading your valuable posts and others over the years and believe in the AMRN thesis as much as Berry did in his assessment of the future mortgage mess. I've learned more about the chemical makeup of the EPA molecule than I ever anticipated and in the end it has made for a greater understanding of what exactly I'm taking 2 times a day and the overwhelming benefits. The small number of posters here which comprise my own nucleus of belief and DD has not wavered one bit in four years. For that fact alone I remain completely confident in the R-IT success and look at these past prices as extended buying opportunities. Nothing more. EPA benefits and therapeutic qualities didn't change according to PPS on any given day or week. The trading floor was taken out at $.78 and you had better known what the initials R-IT meant if you were truly long and here today. In some perverse way it made it easier to hold, wait and to double and triple down as the dust settled post Adcom. Berry and the "short" boys were in it for years before the rewards and validation came. Care to counter FFS? Your TA won't ever measure up in this scenario and thus you are Flayed Fish Subject in this tight, EPA educated group.
Your toolbox has been rattled ever since the $1.95 price and subsequent drop. Someone has peed in your Wheaties on a daily basis. I'm not really sure why you insist on linking up double aliases? Who else might you be, repeating the often used greedy management slogan? By now you ought to know that most think your TA jive is amateur animation with Star Wars lingo sprinkled in.
You don't get it. My post was a rebuke to his education comment as he messed up the usage of the words to/too and your/you're, etc. So back to you Cartoon Network man. I don't give a flying fish head about the PPS today or next week until....wait for it.....the initials R-IT. I'll argue it with you everyday if you want. Until we learn about the interim results and the RRR numbers associated with it, the price day to day is pure penny folly. Forget the IBB and your triangles. For once, give me your a-ha moment that anything else outside of R-IT and script growth affects the end game that we're all patiently waiting for in the next few weeks or months? Don't give me a statement that your other disgruntled cohorts would term as "pathetic" such as low volume and no BP interest.
One name tag but enough Sharpie space for both aliases when we gather in Vegas.
I graduated from the Mog school of ???? , to(o), your(e), CAPS, many, many, many times, as valedictorian.
Serious question now. Should I just sell all my shares this week and hang my head because JZ sold early at $14 a few years ago?
Maybe the word is disgruntled Omthera worker? Perhaps LA Dave is frustrated because he doubled up on the CVS buy one get one free Fish Oil pills a year ago and still can't get rid of them?
Moderation with all types of food and drinks since grade school. Basic common sense as a Non smoker and no statins necessary otherwise. Initially got my V prescription due to 200+ Trigs but that's down to 109 with the elimination of daily orange juice.
I'll take the stance that V with just one of your 6 options will lead to further life expectancy just because of the anti inflammatory help. However, 4g daily all by itself is IMO the best preventative vitamin I've taken and the best $9.00 I've ever spent each month in my life.
You mean the "dark pool" referring to the 400,000 share trading days that fluctuate in pennies here or there? You seriously think ,as HD just recently inferred, that your pump charts are going to influence R-IT results? The majority here have done or read enough shared DD over the last years and months that we understand it's a waiting game and nothing more. BP has the same playbook as ihub colleagues do. It's titled R-IT RRR%
The IBB trend and R-IT interim is connected to what exactly Johnny come lately?
Cheerio, For the sake of easier post reading, any chance in using capital letters where required?
How's this for objective FFS. AMRN isn't affected by the price of oil, gold, the VIX, 10 year Treasury yield, the dollar index, Hillary or Trump, and certainly not your cartoons. It's the science and facts of R-IT. This has been stated here everyday since adcom. Take the triangle and lava props to another site. This, Long John Silver, is purely a binary-event waiting game around here. 6-76 weeks and counting.
Time to move on cartoon man. Don't let the lava melt your precious twigs with string and cheese. A true pump and dump episode disguised as "insightful" analysis. I didn't sell poseur. Any further posts here are a waste of your time and ours. It's been a binary event around here for awhile.
There are a few posters around here who are those dreaded "early to the party" attendees who either need to call Uber and go home or sober up to the current share price and take advantage of an extended Happy Hour sale from 9:30-4:00 each day courtesy of FDA and Wall Street.
Cam, thanks for the review of important statements. Some around here need to read and re-read this summary. My question to all our naysayers. Say the share price went up to $2.15 today. Who cares. Planning on selling at that price? People came out of hibernation this morning and wanted the guillotine for management.
Map- a perfect name considering this board.
We're truly all over the map around here with opinions, cost average, beliefs in R-IT dates, levels of sarcasm and understanding of such due to various nationalities and in just the last 24 hours, an elevated number of myopic civilian treatment among our esteemed veteran board members. Welcome to the next 8-80 weeks. Take a number.
Raf, prepare yourself for a fury of replies....
all negative. Reading comprehension is troubling to some, still.
Raf, we recognize the anxious energy that makes a cup of coffee nervous. Here's something to ponder for our AMRN Vegas gathering. For the few dozen regular posters( hope all would want to attend) do we just wear our alias name tags or do we have our normal name printed and play 'Guess the Mog and Raf' game during cocktails? It's a 3.5 hour drive for me so count me in whenever.
BC, how about giving us full disclosure on your share count so we can really root hard for you post $1.82? Seriously, if you loaded up in 10,000+ share count back under a $1.00 I'll be the first to say well done. Otherwise, longs who bought in at $12 and lower and didn't have the cash or stones to cost average down aren't sending warm fuzzies your way quite yet. I'm around the price of a Happy Meal.
Could- I'm going to say not just one but a few BP have done some DD on AMRN. I think/hope you know that as well. M&A wish list!
Pen, I hear you loud and clear. I've been in for four years. The half-million shares being traded recently (sometimes totaling only a half-million $) has to be day traders making some penny trades to pay for greens fees or oil changes? Who knows? It's not much in this tight range. Wish I had the you know whats to day trade 10,000 shares here and there but I feel comfy waiting for interim and reading all the posts except from my maxed out ignores.
Epi pen, all true except it being artificial in nature. It's all been in real time right in front of us. IMO we will soon look back at all the days, weeks, months, and yes, even years, that we've had time to buy shares and say, "wish I had more cash back when AMRN was in the 1's."
Regardless of the time of day when posts are made( the time stamp is EST, yet we're all over the world) proper etiquette to all readers would be to read all posts that might build up while your busy over the weekend and then go back and reply if still necessary. That's been the outcry to some of your post replies over the months. Your singular response could be days old and completely stale within a thread. Just an observation that others have made to you and I'm making it again. Some habits are....we're talking about a few extra minutes on your end.
On a side note. Too much information is around here not to be paying attention to it daily. It's called adult homework with a whole bunch of curiosity thrown in for good measure. The fraternity continues to grow.
The AMRN share price landscape viewed metaphorically by one or some. Feel free to add on wherever obvious. It's all just a time-killer exercise these days anyways.
The end of the school year is on the horizon and we're all antsy ( R-IT interim and possible results)
We have a few days, weeks, months to finish our work and turn it in for credit before the final exam ( buy shares or rest with our current portfolio and wait- assuming a DMC readout this spring or summer)
The nervous chatter of someone who plagiarized or had answers to an exam (rafunrafun cares too much if someone possibly leaks the R-IT results to a hedge fund and thus his share count will be manipulated somehow?) will not affect your grade ( post interim price/ BO price) Is one bad apple going to be that big of a deal among 175,000,000+ shares?
No sarcasm here. I honestly feel like I've minored in a four-year EPA science course ( summer of 2012 when I bought my first shares) and my degree will be the satisfaction of the R-IT trial results and the share price appreciation that follows.
Note: If STP 66 rebukes this post the rules are it has to within 30 minutes for any relevance:)
Yahtzee
Did anyone read/catch this post from the 32 comments section below the Medscape story?
Dr. Adam Shaywitz: Endocrinology, Metabolism
He writes: "One word my good people. VASCEPA. Look it up."
Short and right on point. He gets it.
Pitt, are these run on sentences your thoughts or is this cut and paste? I'm going with the second one because surely you're not going to type out Amarin Corporation PLC five times? Dizzying
Don't stir the hornets nest. Enough people spent a few minutes using the ignore option for hours of calm reading. Have you exercised that option?
Nothing wrong with discussions about possible percentages or dates. I didn't think he was stating definitive, drop-dead dates and % stuff. We all know about past PPS figures ( past being operative word) Everybody's had their cock-of-the-walk moments so I'm not singlehandedly defending anybody here. I just enjoy reading the brighter posts of future indication uses, etc. You're not on ignore.
What Hedge Fund did you start working at today? Tone it down just a bit the rest of the week if you really want to scare us from our shares. Each day over a 175,000,000 shares are sitting tight just waiting patiently. I suggest the same for you BB.
