I love you guys and all but if I was in charge I think I would hold off just sayin I think they know what they're doing we'll just have to agree to disagree l, in my opinion an announcement before the raise is done would be a waste let's dry up the supply before we increase demand that's what I say
Proto let me just say this, I haven’t been following this as closely, worrying about every event like when they got coffee or if they had decaff before they went to bed but believe me, I used to. Back in the day when we discovered that Fred had an accident and for years after I followed this as closely as possible because I didn’t want to see company go down the tubes or the tech get stolen. I participate(d) in as many raises as possible and did my best to see that they had funding. Thanks to the efforts of those that stepped up to the plate, We now have a team that is as diverse and talented as we could possibly hope for, I don’t necessarily like the term diverse, some try to be diverse just for this sake of being diverse, what I’m trying say is that they are all super stars in the area of their expertise and they didn’t all come from a single source, with the latest addition as soon as the rest of the team crests the hill the end game is in sight. It is so hard to believe that we are under a dollar, but heck, good for us, I’m stacking it away gathering as many as I can, you simply do not get this kind of talent lending themselves to a small company unless there is promise. In the past when things were telegraphed or discovered prior to the event then it takes the bang out of the event. No I don’t know anything but I’m excited, hey I’d rather be happy than miserable for others, no so much I guess.
Here are to some to endorphins being released in the very near future, hopefully I’ll be able to hit the watering hole one more time before the end of the week/month for the Roths (Oh he was a Delaware Senator), I like buying it on the street at about a 4.5 gets you 5 ratio, you know 90 cents, schwing, and they can be passed on.
And Yes, I gotta Run and no time to proof.
Don't get caught with your drawer's down else you'll end up with the "shoulda woulda, coulda syndrome"
As Frickin Positive as Ever!
X
yes I'm still here I haven't been posting because you can lead a horse to water but you can't make him drink and I got tired of arguing with the horse for as for me personally I've been in the watering hole loading up and I reached my goal this week however like I said about 6 weeks ago I hope that I can make it till the end of next week before we close consistently over a dollar cause there's still a few beans to be invested
X
Agreed I was going to mention that but I changed my mind. They know what they are doing.

I’m sure y’all know that Tom Baehr (Jones) works with Hochberg (Opsis) and what's his name from EM, anywho’s he came from the U of W, IMO it is the same ol same ol, gvt. Vs. pvt. debate that has been going on forever but over the past few years it has been really picking up steam. If Lightwave has it, they have it and the game is ours to play, 80% sure they are 80% there and once it is hammered out IMO Lightwave has the talent on board now (Miller, Leonberger and Lauro) to go in either direction, or both at once, IMO 80% it’ll be the private route. Oh and I agree that Light switching Light Corning does not mean chi(3). That being said however do not count out Corning or Opsis, I think both will be in the game going forward.
g'day mate
Gotta love the effect that the green crowds movement has had in reducing the size of the swimsuits for the 2014 beach season ;).

Thanks for your work Rick.

Walter I know you think I’m bashing but unless you have something to do in Elk Creek for a few days I think I’d recommend Las Vegas (but it will be hot) perhaps see a show, a helicopter trip over the Hoover Dam and the Grand Canyon also the evening rafting trips from the base of the Hoover dam is cool. I’ve never been to Elk Creek but I think it only has about 100 people. Drilling rigs and pole barns are cool but only for a few hours. I was going to do the weekend in Denver but that weekend is not good for me.
See you in Denver, Oh I'm no help in Denver the only thing I know about Denver is they drink Beer and Tomato Juice it is called a Denver Redeye, they are for curing hangovers.
X
Now that was funny, Thanks for the laugh. That clip took me back when we were eating lunch in a little café in Costa Rica this guy came down the street with his heard I was thinking about that then Wham, LOL.
I can not sit on here all day, but IMO George Lauro fits the bill nicely, I look forward to meeting him at the Share Holders Meeting.
X
I'd like to see them do the raise for 10 Bucks a share but that isn't happening, they are dammed if they do and dammed if they don't. They have to work with the cards they have, they have to go to war with the army they've got. Again guys we have one heck a team, IMO this was taken public too early, but it is what it is and 90% of the investors would not have chance to invest in this.
X
Who cares, IMO A long that values their investment in a pre-revenue company daily that trades on the street and is working on quantum physics IMO should have their head examined, either you see the big picture and are here for the long term or you are here to trade short term, this middle of the road stuff feet in both camps, I just dunno. If they have what they are working toward the rewards will be astronomical. Investing in disruptive technology isn’t for the faint of heart, many investors expect pep talks and updates weekly, some think we are already selling widgets and have X amount of value left so that if any piece of the pie is sold then it takes away from that fixed value. At this stage of the game money added to the company will be used to add value. Could they be wrong, heck yes, if they are then it won’t matter, like I said it isn’t for the faint of heart, IMO I think that some need to put on their big boy pants, man up, quit trying to micro manage from the sidelines constant whining for goodness sakes you guys will die young worrying about stuff that you cannot control. Hey We have Very, Very intelligent guys here doing our heavy lifting and if one cannot put their faith in them then they should probably move on to a safer already established business. Folks, again you need to look at the big picture, if they didn’t have anything this talent would not be here, Period. It is almost like we’ve become a nation of cry babies, sorry about that but I mean the internet gives anyone the ability have their voice heard but IMO sometimes it is best to let those doing the calling call and those doing the rowing row, stop smacking your ores in the water then complaining that the boat is slowing down. And if you think that anyone can tell you exactly how long it will take to hammer out a six sigma’d EO Polymer that is X thick responding to Y voltage as Z speed you are quazy mang. As for me at this time I have 100% confidence that they will do the best with their god given abilities to move this out. They are currently writing the book on it, have learned much, and there is much more to learn but IMO the variables are narrowing quickly. Looking forward to the ASM.
Funny I just read Proto's post (Amen Bro) and Gate's post, Gates the number is whatever it is I guess we'll find out sooner or later, someone said something about LPC, again I think management (especially George) knows what he/they are doing better than us. Once this takes off, once we've inked a deal, LPC has the ability to help us immensely but I here you. Again I hope that I can get one more month of below a buck shares and I know many hate me for saying that but it is the truth.
X
Sounds reasonable to me glad to hear it. Booked my flight, grabbed a room arrive Wed night to Denver onto Boulder in the morning departing Thursday rush hour back home around midnight $600 Bucks, I wouldn’t miss it for the world. Glad to here you guys saying that they’ve got dough; I guess some will have to find something else to worry about now. If I said it once I’ve said it 100 times you do not want to head into any negotiations with your back against the wall this is 101 stuff. If you are not prepared to walk away in any negotiation then you are arguing from a point of weakness. Some act like this is first time they’ve ever paid attention to a pre-revenue company doing a raise using lines like dilution etc.
G Night
It depend how you define a majority, but I'd say no. I'd say though that we will stop it in tracks (disrupt planning) just about then. Just guessing though.
I've gotta run.
Yes last year was interesting, especially the Lab, I picked up a few subtle hints while I was there.
Perhaps this year we can have Fred and Lou do the math for those that don’t think Leonberger knows what he was/is doing and it didn't pertain. I didn’t realize that Some were so knowledgeable in modulators. Furthermore I’d bet you that if they put up the correct equation for a working modulator and one that was totally bogus not a single one us could tell which is which. Watching this from the days of the Goetzs to the talent that is here now has me convinced that yes they have it. As for timing I’m not sure just how long it takes but perhaps one of you guys could school us in the exact steps of tweaking quantum physics and how long it should take. The fact of the matter is you can’t, no one can it has never been done Period, so you take pot shots. Whatever and if anyone thinks that 200k is a lot of money to George they are kidding themselves. Honestly I hope that he makes at least 20 million off of us, after taxes that would be 12 million for him which I'd say is more like the bottom range for the man. Do the math, Lol oh that’s right I forgot.
You Guys Have a Good Day, I gotta run.
X
I'm going, I having trouble planning my summer though because I don't know the date. I think Lightwave is waiting on a little sumtin sumptin to happen before they schedule it, it wouldn't hurt my feelings if they pushed it back. As info, anyone coming from Delaware can fly Frontier cheap, fast and free parking, 12 TSA agents for 1 flight per day, Lol.
Speaking of that Snez are you going to do the Cabin thing? If so you proly should schedule your flight. Ammo's come way down ya know.
OK I’m a simple kinda guy in other words for every million he brings in he gets $50k, look at it this way in round numbers for a Billion Dollar (that is 1,000 Million) deal he gets 50 mil or to put it another way 1 Billion (20 Bucks a share x 50 million shares) he gets 5% or 1 share, would you pay someone 1 share if they could get you 20 bucks same dif, so looking at it that way I love it. And I know he is looking to buy, do M&A partnerships etc. but who knows what will become of this. This man knows what he is doing it is right down his alley and he won't get lost in the zero's. For those that haven’t looked check out his company, here are a few links. It looks as if Z and George will be joined at the hip, I’m pretty sure this is one of the last pieces of the puzzle before we are off and running. Honestly I wouldn’t look for a straight line up in the price but in a few months when you look back this will be at the bottom of the trend line.
You put Miller, Leonberer, Turpin etc.with this guy and there isn't a question that they can not answer…….
Folks And we are off!
So to answer my question the other day, No he isn’t here just to attend board meeting, he is a Frickin Worker Bee on a Mission.

Perk, Cornifor solvent n host polymer, ish it is slang for sh&t I could have said goo I guess.
I think that we will see a nice last chance window to buy shares below a buck, IMO it may last a week or two but I don’t see it lasting longer than a month. Like I’ve said a bazillion times before going forward games will be played, 100k blocks may appear and disappear, but very soon though they will move to the bid side, remember now that they have put the ish in a modulator and it worked, (remember that it was not Lightwave’s modulator though) and now that they have Corning’s material to put in the mix (apparently it helps with the solubility) you either believe it or you don’t. 99.9% do not understand. But IMO once they demonstrate it, once they start negotiating deals, once it hits the science magazines, once the institutions start getting in, once those crazy day traders get onboard, those algorithms will kick in, followed lastly by the newbie street longs, we’ll be off and running and unless you are sitting in front of the computer and hit the buy button the exact instant you will miss the boat, Toot Frickin Toot, And could I be wrong, Heck Yes there is no such thing as a 100% sure bet, but I can assure you that between now and the time this rocket departs the pad I’ll be grabbing more and I won’t be trying to “time it”. I just hope that this time next month (2 at the very most) I’ll get another opportunity or two for a deer nuts buy (below a buck), but I doubt it folks. This last hire has a history of getting in the game at precisely the right time and IMO he would not be here for a lousy couple hundred thousand shares of a pink sheet company that didn’t have the potential to rock the world. OK, now all the naysayers can pound on me, but X you said that before, but X remember 3 years, But X, But X, hey timing quantum physics is tough.
Nuts hot nuts, get them from the peanut man, Ya, Ya, Ya
Later Tator
Lead, Follow or Get out of the way
Good Luck,
(Oh I won't spell it out but Watch out for the migration and don't say I didn't warn you twice)
I hope they stick around for a couple more days I like buying em under a buck
Thanks Spooky, I agree and as you point out this Lauro cat is the real deal, I’m 100% sure that he had this technology vetted by his team (as did EveryOne of the other key players at Lightwave) before he climbed on board. Once again a real deal joins Lightwave, not sure how many more it will take before the “Doubting Thomas’s” show a little more faith. Anyway, If Lightwave has what all the professionals (that are allowed access to it) think they have then he can help us immensely. If you see anything else out there in cyber space that might help the good folks understand his talent it would be much appreciated, please just a lil at a time thought, no need to overwhelm us (just us a hint or a clue would be great), thanks again Sensei.
Guys remember anytime there is disruptive technology those getting disrupted will do whatever they can to try and stop or slow it, so games will be played in all areas, (Business, Finance, Academia etc.), this is going to be interesting to watch. It certainly is not for the faint of heart.
Oh and Spooks thanks again I was getting a little lonely under that bus yesterday and was thinking about lifting it, Lol.
Thanks
You guys are funny, no I don’t think you’ll find me going personal, I usually try to stick to industry at hand and when the facts cannot be answered or disputed many (actually most) people just go personal in defese, as for me I don’t roll that way, I think it is childish. And yes I’m a normal Joe, hey we rolled that monster truck out of the garage with 2” to spare in the 9’ bay. We had to take the lights off the cab and the roll bar to make her fit. The Steering linkage modifications we made didn’t work so it’ll have to go back in but we’ll put er in the center bay cause she’s got a 14’ door. If I can figure out how to do it I’ll post in on Utube. But no pit I’m not talking about industry insider types learning about the company or even heavy duty investors, just Normal Joe’s researching the company that might invest a grand or two.
Whatever Man, Whatever,
Anyone find anything on the new Board Member (George)? Has anyone asked if he is a "Working Board Member" or if he is just attending meetings? Good Question Ya Think?
Gotta Run
EOM

Pit all that I’m saying is it takes money to make money so let’s not shoot ourselves in the foot here. I think that before long we’ll be seeing a few deals getting inked and it is easier to negotiate a strong contract if you don’t have one shoulder on the mat (money wise). I just cannot figure out how some of posters here think that they know better what the board members should be doing or somehow they know better than the management team how best to proceed or how long it should take, how anyone can look at the players here and not feel confident but decide instead that it it best to take continual cheap shots (while betting long) just doesn’t make sense that is what I’m saying. Do I think that it is possible to convince someone using common sense to put a lil coin in the game, yup. And yes It only take a little pressure towards the upside to send this thing north, honestly I wouldn’t be surprised to see this move up in short order I’d say the 2 or 3 dollar range is definitely doable. So whatever man, whatever, as always just being honest. I guess if you somehow feel better about yourself trying to find questionable things to post about me or Lightwave for goodness sakes put your money on the sideline, but man up and tell us that you have. It is always easier to question things than provide the answers.
Whatever, no I'm no trying to argue, as always just being honest.
X
You gotta love the sarcasm around here, apparently ol @#$$^& has accomplished what he set out to do I guess. Setback for a minute and Picture yourself as an outside investor looking at a new financier joining a small tech company with enormous potential that 99.9% of the general public doesn’t understand and in order to get a grasp they log onto what appears to be a decent board/site to read about what the longs think. Anywho’s guys, honestly, Think about what you are posting, not everyone gets sarcasm and may take some of those comments at face value.
Let us Try this, Could one you guys PLEASE spend a little time digging into George Lauro’s background so that the investors can see just what his accomplishments/deals (not spelled out on his bio were) where his connections are and where they might lead us. The talent that he brings to Lightwave in this (much needed) area has arrived at a perfect time.
Don't take this post as an insult, just a thought, sometimes we don't realize what constant whining looks like to an outsider.
Thanks In Advance,
Gotta Run

Does anyone know if Google still makes available the amount of queries on a given term for a specific time frame and charts it like they used too? Going forward this will be interesting to watch. I know that they have that data in Google adwords but I'm pretty sure that they took it away from the public (if anyone would know I bet Purp, Spooks or Buzzy knows).
X
careful with the llc vs inc. thing. Like I said we are still trying out figure this out.
X
I don’t remember seeing that. I,m pretty sure Opsis is now here to stay (Delaware that is) but I won’t say what lead me to that conclusion. Here is something for you to chew on, we’ve been looking at this to see if or how it fits into the Lightwave equation, if it does they certainly are not trying to hide it. As info this is in the same building as EM, and is located at the University of Delaware and there are a ton of other businesses that use that address.

This voice recognition leaves a lot to be desired. Wonder why everybody looks bad things I always look for good things glass half full glass half empty
X Out I gotta concentrate on driving
Tom just renegotiate his contract course you gotta stay on until the end which in my opinion is right over there on the horizon. Can you see it?
Thanks Invers, honestly, AND this comment is not directed and anyone in particular, IMO in today’s world where many are out to make a buck (or just to make a point ) under any circumstance and will lie cheat and steal just to get theirs but that doesn’t apply to everyone, and I think we see that in Z. In today’s world the internet gives folks something to hide behind while they anonymously throw out accusations and say things that they would never say to someone in person or standing in front of them in the checkout line at the store. Off topic but Ponzi is good example of that throwing out anonymous derogatory comments 10 times per day but I’d bet that if he knew LWLG’s management or any of us in person he wouldn’t do that and I’d bet that he most likely is a good honest well meaning guy in person. IMO Lightwaves management is about as talented, honest and hardworking as we could possibly expect and just because this quantum physics Holy Grail thing has taken a longer than expected does not mean that it is not going to succeed. When things take longer than expected (molecules that are microscopic react a little differently than they assumed) after a while folks get antsy and begin to throw out accusations next thing you know others chime in to be in the “click”. Anyway I gotta run, but I think that many here (including myself) need to take a step back and think about what they are saying, this is kind of turning into a let’s take sides thing (just like what is happening in the country) and that is not a good thing.
I’m as as confident as ever, an hey it may be impossible to do, but I mean the talent here is FIRST CLASS and folks they are not here to take us for a ride (most don’t even need to work) this is not some make believe journey dreamt up by the Goetzs (if it were don't you think they would have sold in the past 10 years, because even while they are no longer contributing they and there heirs are doing everything to see that this succeeds, it will be their amd others contributing here's legacy comprende?). Actions speak louder than words, Got it?
When this busts loose there will not be time to react, will it be this weekthis month or this year who knows, I’m in, staying in and I’m not going to try and time it.
Gotta Run and yes no time to proof
X
Lol, of course it is not bad news. I think that I figured it out, I saw some things in there that were pretty interesting, sorry but I’m not going to elaborate, sometimes when we figure out things ahead of time and post them it isn’t as fun plus it takes the wind out the sails. IMO we are all good. I’ll tell you what; just like last time if what I think I see, comes to fruition I’ll show you afterwards, just like when Corning disappeared from the last K.
IMO we are all good, I guess I can not say much anymore, I posted some of my thoughts this morning but they were deleted for whatever reason, whatever just trying to help, we’ll see if I was correct.
Lol the boyz brought over the tires for this Monster truck 340lbs. each not including the rims, we managed to mount them on the rims with big tools (oops), 4 foot Crow bars, 2 guys jumping up and down, a sledge hammer and a maul, got them on with very few injuries but when we hit them with ether and lit them up to seat the bead it blew out the valve stem, they took them to the truck stop.
The right way
Don't be a tool, he is speaking percentage wise, and you know exactly what he meant but are just busting his stones.
Whatever Dude, Place your bets and let them ride or jump in and out. Good Luck in your other investment, still saying it is good time to take the profits there and move back.
Gotta run X

Life is Good
X
I noticed that and yup that was rather large block for end o day, I wasn’t watching the II’s so I’m not sure if it was up on the bid long? Not sure what the point of the sale was but IMO it was done for a reason, not just an investor waiting to hit the sell button. IMO this new cat moves us towards that 4/5 point fork in the road that they’ve eluded to, IMO we can’t do all of this on our own, there will be partners Data Com/Optical Computing/Material 3,4,5,6,7,10, 20 different devices/uses, and eventually, before it gets too out of hand Bingo Bought the F Out, Yep. And no I don’t know what the timeline will be. I’m pretty sure that Corning will also do something with us, proly along the Single Mode front Lightwave/Corning or something like that, proly a milestone will trigger that, maybe something with Silicon in the name, just rambling but there are numerous avenues of how this will play out, remember also that Fred L. Handled M&A’s for JDSU and is “advising” the BOD. Pretty sure we’ll see the Q this week, hopefully there will be something in there. Feeling very confident now, but there will be games; there will be folks that just couldn’t wait, there will be companies, institutions, individuals etc, that will not want to see this succeed or have the "shoulda, woulda, coulda" syndrome. The recent new BOD member moves the Outside Power to a different level a new all time outsider high that all of the investors should be happy with. Honestly guys we have some serious Gray Matter on the BOD at this company, something is up and it ain’t peanuts, we’ll need that gray matter to sort through the various proposals that I’m sure will get laid on the table.
IMO as the deals are inked value will be added from each, some will cry dilution, well folks it takes money to make money, it will be interesting to see how each of the ventures plays out. I wonder if the Third Order material will even be on the table.

Nothing is easy anymore in the U.S. so are they just planning on digging and shipping the raw material via rail or are they going to build an entire plant to process the ore? Our friends to the north spent $2,000,000,000 to just increase production that is a lot of scratch and I found the comment about storing the slag in a sealed underground chamber a little strange (there is more slag than product) so I started thinking why did they use the word “Storing it” what is in it and why do they have to “seal it”? If some greenees latch on to this it could get ugly for goodness sakes the current political tide in the U.S. won’t even let them put pipe in the ground.
One other thought, Has anyone put any thought into dealing with the radon levels in that area? Canadian standards are less stringent than the U.S. and of course an open pit does require anything. I guess that they just need to drill more openings and ventilate the crap out of it, but I'm really not sure.
This entire project is going to require enormous capital or are they just going to do the study and put together a package and flip it along with management? I still think that Government needs to get behind this else it will be an uphill battle. Look at Keystone ish.
Thanks for your response, I looked over there and this is what I found, so yes my numbers were correct so if Elk Creek can get 10kg even 6kg it should be very profitable. I’ll keep digging it may be worth an investment here, sorry guys I don’t just jump into something; I always try and look at what is behind it. Some hate it when I ask common sense questions, but if there is nothing to hide they shouldn’t.
This is what is says
Each tonne of ore yields an average of 3.7 kg of niobium pentoxide.
The product is a pyrochlore concentrate with 58% niobium pentoxide (Nb2O5). Processing in the plant includes: crushing, grinding, sorting, desliming, magnetic separation, three types of flotation, leaching, two filtering steps and drying of the concentrate. Fifteen different chemicals are used in processing with daily consumption of these chemicals reaching approximately 35,000 kg for the production of 30,000 kg of concentrate. Water plays an important role in the process with nearly 6,700 gallons/minute being used. This water is recycled at a rate of 85%.
The conversion of niobium concentrate into ferroniobium (FeNb) is completed onsite using an aluminothermic reaction. The process involves a reaction between niobium oxide, metallic aluminum and iron oxide to produce aluminum oxide (slag), and metallic ferroniobium
Conversion at Niobec is a batch process. A typical batch comprises of 3-½ tonnes of Nb2O5 concentrate, one tonne of aluminum, 675 kg of iron oxide and 675 kg of other products for a total of nearly six tonnes. This combination produces a powerful exothermic chemical reaction that generates enough heat to raise the temperature above 2,200°C, melting the entire load in less than ten minutes. The reaction produces 2,100 kg of ferroniobium, which is crushed and packaged to client specifications and 3,750 kg of slags that are stored in a sealed underground chamber.
HOW IS NIOBIUM PROCESSED?
After the ore is mined it is finely ground and beneficiated (separation process) by flotation and high-intensity magnetic separation to remove iron minerals. In Canada, nitric acid can be used to remove apatite, and in Brazil a chloride leach process is used to reduce the barium, phosphorus and sulphur content. The end result of this physical processing is a pyrochlore concentrate grading 55-60% Nb2O5. Most pyrochlore concentrates, however, are converted into a standard-grade ferroniobium for use in applications where the retained impurities can be tolerated. For applications requiring higher purity levels, further processing is required to yield purity levels of ~99% such as the levels found in niobium oxides and vacuum-grade ferroniobium.
Thanks for you help, this a good video on that operation.

I understand but the most basic of basic answers is How many Kilograms are in a ton?
Answer 1,000
Is it me, Am I putting the percentage point in the wrong place? It Must Be Me? Please by all means correct my math.
What is the percentage of Niobum in that rock, let us go with the Best of best
Answer is 1%
So that rock has 10 kg per Ton in it.
What is recoverable amount, best of best let us say 60%
Take 60% of 1% and I come up with 6 Kilograms per ton
How much is a Kilogram of niobium worth? Let us say $50
So for $300 bucks the Ford ranger gets squashed but how much does it cost to dig it up, separate, package and transport it.
Just saying that $300 per ton doesn’t sound like a gold mine to me.
So why didn’t he say we are hoping for somewhere between $200 to $500 per ton?
Shoot they grow mushrooms in cow manure down the road and get $25 bucks a kg and the cost of starting a farm is about $50k, just saying.
Hey If I’m wrong please by all means point it out and I’ll buy some but even $500 bucks a ton, shoot the front end loaders in brazil hold what 60 tons per scoop, $30,000 per scoop and the guy makes 10 Bucks an hour to drive down there, the pit is already open. They both still have to process and transporting the finished product 10,000 miles doesn’t make up for it,
IMO Tis but a good story.
OK Ill stop, have fun and good Luck
And guys this is being traded in 3 countries so do not think my lil ol post is going to change anything.
Finally some are asking good questions, I won’t post the answers yet, but what is 1 ton of rock extracted from 500 feet beneath the ground with 1% niobium worth after processing? For those that don’t run to the quarry very often a small pick truck bed will hold 1 ton. Remember that they are hoping to be able to get between 50% and 60% of that 1% (even though CBMM with its billions only get about half, maybe 2/3 of its 3%, that leaves 1% in the scrap bin). Also how will it be separated will it be simple sluice box (Gold), Cracker (coal) or will they need chemicals, is that costly? Of the water used how much will they use and how much will it cost per ton to clean the water?
2nd question how many tons will they need to extract to reach $100 Million dollars?
3rd in the U.S a tractor trailer holds 80,000 lbs (about 40 short tons) so how many tractor trailer worth of rock do they need to extract for that ($100,000,000?)
Sorry I’m not bashing but I’m not “hoping” either just asking a very basic math question.
Why didn’t he answer this simple question?
James West: Okay, sure. So what is a ton of rock with 1% niobium pentoxide worth?
Peter Dickie: Well, that’s the million-dollar question. I can tell you that the processing on niobium deposits is always a question that people come up with.
James West: So it’s not the easiest stuff in the world to extract?
Peter Dickie: Separation is always a concern; I’ll put it that way. This is not similar to a gold or copper deposit where you might recover 90%, 95%, 98% of the material in the ground.
World-class standards and those are the recoveries that are done by companies such as CBMM, the largest producer in the world, Niobec in Quebec, their recoveries are in the mid-50% range. So while it doesn’t seem like a massive target, that’s the reality of the commodity.
We have historical results from Molycorp and these are pre-43-101 days so it’s certainly not something that we can rely upon so we have to do our own testing, but they encountered recoveries actually in excess of those numbers that I mentioned. So what we are doing is we are spending a significant amount of time and effort utilizing two firms as I mentioned because we’d like to establish a proper flow sheet with recoveries certainly in the 50+% but hopefully in the sort of 55% to 58% range.
Hey I consider you guys my friends but the big guys will not just hope before throwing down coin so it would be interesting to see who has done what on their homework here. Simple Math, Especially if you just create a spread sheet, 3 to 5 minutes at most. Oh and at 71 cents I said be smart so don’t blame this hammering on me I’m just asking a question that any business person would ask.
I still say that for strategic reason the U.S. should get behind this project.
Good Luck, Sorry I didn't put up the answers just ask a question for each of you.

Wow Holy Moly Batman I Just Looked over here, Congrats to you Cats. I certainly can not explain it, Be Smart and enjoy the Dough.

oops Walter sorry I totally forgot, see if it worked with the attachments I rarely use that Yahoo email.

Yes Rick I agree you nailed it and I'm a drinker, no doubt about it, and after all the work I've done on this I still believe in it. The timing is key and it has taken a lot longer than I thought, some swing trader types the momentum is down here and up at NIOBF but IMO that will change, how the 2 intersect will be interesting to watch.
Here is a little Food for thought rambling for those sipping from both cups. As we do come up on the next round of funding if it is not product based or an agreement to partner up to sell rights on something some of you may want to think about what you are putting out in a public forum. In other words if you are going to hold you may not want to bash just to make yourself feel better because if you convince someone to sell the street price will be lower and that may affect an offering price. Honestly I really enjoyed the trading yesterday because I was on the receiving end of some of it. So do whatever, I’m still acquiring, but just think about what you are doing. If on the other hand the next round of funding comes from a performance based award or a device it won’t matter because I’m sure those dollars are based on something else. I know that many of you understand this but some don’t, it kind of reminds me when I worked in corporate America it was funny going to work at certain times of the year because if it was right around option time I would be happy as a clam when the stock was tanking, others would be in a bad mood and say "but the shares are down 2 bucks" and how their "retirement account yesterday was down $20k", I always looked at them like a dog that heard that heard a strange noise and shook my head because they didn’t understand. All that I’ saying is think about what you are saying and about what you are doing. IMO I think that we have some here selling to buy NIOBF, good for you, honest, and I hope you make some good scratch. I still to this day cannot understand a single advantage in that market that the Elk Creek deposit has over Brazil when all they have to do is send an employee making 10 Bucks and hour with a big front end loader to the open pit for another 80 ton scoop of 3% ore where they don’t have to worry about Radon, Water, (and because the entire town works there) environmental regs or anything shoot the lab and process is already built and has a 15% per anum capacity increase already built in. I don’t see any discussion about the business end of things over there. I do however think that for strategic reasons the U.S. should get behind that project and no I’m not a socialist but from a strictly business standpoint it just doesn’t make sense it reminds me of Beatrice, oh here
Oh the number for today 428
Very Nice Rick! I won't elaborate because I don't want to appear as if I'm pumping, remember we are all supposed to be bummed out and kicking the dog, Lol.
Thanks Mang Nice Fing Find
