I understand but the most basic of basic answers is How many Kilograms are in a ton?

Answer 1,000

Is it me, Am I putting the percentage point in the wrong place? It Must Be Me? Please by all means correct my math.

What is the percentage of Niobum in that rock, let us go with the Best of best

Answer is 1%

So that rock has 10 kg per Ton in it.

What is recoverable amount, best of best let us say 60%

Take 60% of 1% and I come up with 6 Kilograms per ton

How much is a Kilogram of niobium worth? Let us say $50

So for $300 bucks the Ford ranger gets squashed but how much does it cost to dig it up, separate, package and transport it.

Just saying that $300 per ton doesn’t sound like a gold mine to me.


So why didn’t he say we are hoping for somewhere between $200 to $500 per ton?

Shoot they grow mushrooms in cow manure down the road and get $25 bucks a kg and the cost of starting a farm is about $50k, just saying.

Hey If I’m wrong please by all means point it out and I’ll buy some but even $500 bucks a ton, shoot the front end loaders in brazil hold what 60 tons per scoop, $30,000 per scoop and the guy makes 10 Bucks an hour to drive down there, the pit is already open. They both still have to process and transporting the finished product 10,000 miles doesn’t make up for it,
