Boh Grow :) Like!!!
According to Maple Leaf's chief grower Aaron Boh, if MGW uses all 300,000 sq ft of greenhouse space for hemp seed production, they could produce around 180,000 lbs of seeds from 3 harvests at $5,000 to $10,000 per pound wholesale.
Of course this would require mass production of premium quality seeds with high CBD content for growers to be interested. If the former professional hockey player turned cannabis cultivator says he can do it, who's going to argue with him. Not me :) imho glta

Hoping the delay in financials is related to the TerraFarma merger under consideration. This is the last week of the reported 30 day time period for a decision.
If it's a done deal it might need to be reported as a subsequent event in their report, and could be the reason for the delay. Plus we should be getting a bi-weekly default status report soon that might explain the delay.
Hoping that TerraFarma takes control of Beleave, and gets their house in order. Their executives have much more experience running successful companies. Also interested to see if TerraFarma purchased the London facility, which would be a smart move if they are acquiring. imho glta
Vivo has done a good job tapping the ultra-premium market with the Canna Farms acquisition. Now they should work on developing a high THC low cost commercial brand using their cost saving airhouses to undercut black market prices. Market share will come from capturing black market customers in Canada more than anything else. imho glta
GTEC is getting its $4M shareholder loan repaid by Cannabis Cowboy, but still retains a 25% interest in the company. Fire & Flower is purchasing 8 retail development permits from Cannabis Cowboy leaving 16 permitted locations remaining. Hopefully this deal will help GTEC get their products in Fire & Flower's retail outlets. Looks like a win win for everybody to me. imho glta

GTEC got a shout out from Vivo CEO Barry Fishman on their Q2 earnings call. Classy move Barry. Like :)
"In addition to its production facility, Canna Farms also operates an online medical cannabis store, which was launched in the first quarter of this year. During the second quarter, we continued to expand our product offering with the addition of GTEC Holdings, sold under the brand GreenTec to the list of licensed holders selling product on this website."

Vivo's Q2 results press release mentioned their agreements with two third-party LP's to supply 5,000 kilograms per annum. The only third-party LP's I see on Canna Farms website are GTEC & Pure Sunfarms. So that's a nice tidbit to chew over. imho glta

If Vivo can cultivate a high THC flower in the low cost airhouses they might be able to sell at black market prices profitably.
Consumers are shopping by the numbers now, and high THC content is what they want.
Some growers in the US are even lab shopping for the highest THC numbers they can get.
Vivo shouldn't relegate the airhouse flowers only to extraction until they know the THC content. imho glta

This seems like a really good deal for a future outdoor grow CBD/THC farm near the Woodmere Nursery. Only $2500 per acre which is way lower than other parts of Canada. Might be time to sell the California land and invest locally. imho glta
Online Clones Canada
https://onlineclones.ca/
This is the direction Maple Leaf needs to be heading. Premium clones online for retail, and wholesale to LP's. They might actually want to partner with Online Clones as a supplier.
They could ship from Woodmere Nursery directly to their customers. Check out the prices they're getting for clones. Cha Ching. Smart consumers will eventually realize it's much cheaper to grow your own.
Not saying Maple Leaf can pull this off, but if they do it could be a big money maker. imho glta
https://www.globenewswire.com/news-release/2019/08/26/1906436/0/en/Maple-Leaf-Green-World-Inc-Enters-into-Letter-of-Intent-to-Acquire-Land-Assets-and-Business-of-Woodmere-Nursery-Ltd.html
Why Canadian cannabis companies want to do business in the US is a mystery to me. Why leave a well regulated federally legal market for the wild west. In the wild west card sharks steal your money and send you packing.
Hopefully now they have learned their lesson, and will stick with Canadian investments on their own turf. Whether or not they have done themselves irreparable damage is still unknown. The recent bid for Woodmere Nursery seems to imply they have financing of some sort in the works.
If they would have done this deal years ago, instead of the US adventures, they could be licensed and growing clones already. They are coming to that realization late, but still early enough to be a first mover in the cannabis nursery space if they move quickly.
I have no illusions Maple Leaf could fail miserably at this point. This deal is possibly Maple Leaf's last chance to succeed as a viable company. It will come down to financing, which needs to be soon. imho glta

Beleave Announces LOI for Leaseback of London Production Facility and Sale of Lloydminster Retail Space
https://finance.yahoo.com/news/beleave-announces-loi-leaseback-london-124300983.html
It seems reasonable to think TerraFarma is the private purchaser of the London facility. If the business combination is still happening then it makes sense to keep London in the family. Good move if that's how it works out.
Hoping Beleave can beat its previous quarter on tomorrows earnings. Maybe pop over $1M for a little positive momentum. Also higher margins would be nice. Plus the normal stats like grams sold, inventory on hand, and biological assets currently in production.
Lots of important news coming up in the next few weeks. imho glta
Just checked out the Woodmere Nursery on Google satellite, and found something quite interesting. The satellite view reveals a large riverfront nursery with multiple greenhouses situated along the Bulkley River in Telkwa BC.
The interesting part is Maple Leaf's indoor grow facility sits right next to Woodmere Nursery. The reason for optimism that the acquisition will actually happen, is the founder of Woodmere Nursery is on Maple Leaf's Board of Directors.
Another reason for optimism is the revenue guidance estimates given in today's press release. Maple Leaf's new Chief Grower estimated a annual production rate of 121,000,000 cannabis clones with a selling price between $5 to $10 a clone.
This number seems astronomical until you visit the Woodmere website that says they currently produce 12.5M evergreen seedlings annually. The Chief Grower estimates 18 cannabis clone harvests per year, compared to the current 3 evergreen seedling harvests per year.
In a perfect world where Maple Leaf had supply agreements to offload this much product the total yearly revenue would be $605M based on the lower estimate of $5 per clone. It will take time to ramp up to this level, but even 1/4 of this total would be a smashing success.
Initially they could use the majority to supply commercial outdoor growers who will need massive numbers of clones to fill 1000s of acres next summer. The Chief Grower appears to have research & cultivars for every growing condition.
First things first, get the deal done, finish and license the indoor facility, secure and license the nursery, finalize supply agreements ahead of cultivation, and start growing Maple Leaf. Tweet us some ground level pics of the new facility. Social media is important. imho glta

Maple Leaf seems to be back on track hiring a new chief grower for the Woodmere Nursery in Telkwa, BC. The acquisition of Woodmere must be progressing well if they're hiring already.
Smart growers will move away from housing their own mother plants onsite taking up valuable growing space that could be used for production instead.
Maple Leaf would be a first mover in the cannabis nursery space as only two cannabis nursery licenses have been issued by Health Canada so far.
I've been watching Maple Leaf for awhile now as they progressed on their indoor facility, but now that they are moving on a 300,000 sq ft nursery I'm in. Always imho glta :)

The report seems like a mixed bag to me. The doubling of capacity at Canna Farms should start showing results in Q3, and the Kimmets facility will harvest in Q4, according to the CEO CC remarks. The Kimmets Airhouses now hold 20,000+ plants that are looking good, as per CC remarks.
The reduction in cash & cash equivalents over the last two quarters is concerning depending on the liquidity level of short term investments for future cash needs. The insider selling plan seems reasonable, but would prefer all insiders play by the same rules.
Q3 doesn't have to be a home run, but a double would be nice. imho glta

2 Cannabis Companies With Huge Potential That You May Have Never Heard of
https://www.fool.ca/2019/08/26/2-cannabis-companies-with-huge-potential-that-you-may-have-never-heard-of/
To me GTEC was unfairly portrayed in a recent article regarding their cash flow. This article didn't take into consideration GTEC's valuable real estate assets that could be leveraged for working capital, or the current cash flow this quarter from the new Canna Farms supply agreement.
GTEC has had 3 full months this quarter selling product to Canna Farms, and 3 full months selling product to CannMart. Their cash flow should be substantially more than what was reported in Q2. GTEC may need to report a earnings estimate for Q3 to assure investors that cash flow is increasing. This article had a unwarranted but real effect on the share price. imho glta
GTEC has built a good reputation for quality flower with CannMart & Canna Farms that should help open doors to the provincial government outlets, and private retailers.
It would be nice if the Canopy Growth facility purchase included a supply agreement for GTEC products equal to or more than the selling price. Commercial lenders might be more willing to finance the deal with a supply agreement included. imho glta

Thankfully with the new Health Canada licenses GTEC now has the future in their own hands. No more waiting to sign supply agreements with provincial governments, and developing their own online medical sales platform.
They can also partner with other premium craft growers to supply product for distribution under the GTEC umbrella. Providing it meets the high standards GTEC has established of course.
Lots of wholesale crafters out there looking for distribution partners. Just like GTEC has partnered with Canna Farms & CannMart. Happy to see GTEC still has the #1 & #2 most popular dried flower strains on CannMart.

To me the Canopy Growth facility purchase delay was a smart move. Canopy probably overpaid for the facility at the height of the acquisition boom.
The GTEC F-20 facility will produce double the amount of product (8,000 kg) as the Canopy facility (4,000 kg) for $3M less to build ($10M). It would be nice to have the Canopy facility right next door, but cheaper for GTEC to build one themselves.
Now that GTEC can see profitability with their 3 licensed facilities there's no rush to buy Canopy's. Let them lower the price to current market levels and hold the paper if they really want to make a deal. imho glta
