To me the Canopy Growth facility purchase delay was a smart move. Canopy probably overpaid for the facility at the height of the acquisition boom.

The GTEC F-20 facility will produce double the amount of product (8,000 kg) as the Canopy facility (4,000 kg) for $3M less to build ($10M). It would be nice to have the Canopy facility right next door, but cheaper for GTEC to build one themselves.

Now that GTEC can see profitability with their 3 licensed facilities there's no rush to buy Canopy's. Let them lower the price to current market levels and hold the paper if they really want to make a deal. imho glta

“We are incredibly proud of the dedication and commitment of our subsidiaries in accomplishing the most recently issued licences,” said Norton Singhavon, GTEC Founder Chairman and CEO. “As the organization progresses in the direction of profitability, we will persevere to ensure that Tumbleweed and Grey Bruce become cash flow positive in the near future, while striving to complete the build-outs of GreenTec Bio-Pharma and 3PL.”
