My POINT is that Ford was basically dead and came back... So ANYTHING CAN HAPPEN!!!
Just some food for thought...
All this talk about all time lows and such, feel free to take a look at this stock... I think we have heard of this company before:
Ford (F)
The Sturgis Mustang Rally is doing the dice roll as part of their event. The PR if for the 9th Annual Sturgis Mustang Rally in South Dakota. This is also not the first year for the dice roll. Now one has won the car by rolling the dice and the car is always auctioned off with a reserve price.
As for getting paid faster, I think either a dealer or doing this promotion will allow them to get paid just fine on this car. Also, notice there have been more then ONE Black Label produced as well... So just like I have been saying, production is up and so will be the revenue in 2015!
So all these companies below have done a similar thing have also done this as a PR Stunt??

A lot of the parts are carried over from trim level to trim level. And then when you go to a supercharged model yes there would be different parts with that one.
It isnt like the white and yellow label vehicles are 100% different from one another so it is not as difficult as stated
It was about 628,000 shares traded to be more specific... Not 800k
A few more facts:
In the roll the dice game you have 6 dice that will spell out SALEEN. One letter on each five with the other sides blank.
In the last 6 years of doing this giveaway, nobody has won so the car was actions off (with a reserve price)
And yes, it is insured for pennies on the dollar since the odds of winning it rolling the dice are 1 in 46,656
Great time to load up before the price per share goes up with the increase of revenue this year.
Huge market and a lot of people have huge amounts if money to spend.
Looking forward to see how this bumps up the revenue in the months to come.
Ok then...
Um... A little off there...
So let's see, PJ cars were produced 8 years ago (2007)
Dan Gurney were produced in 2008 or 7 years ago
S5's actually a concept called the S5S was never produced
S7 was produced but isnt currently
Camaros (2) no clue what that means
Plant expansion and new clothing line... Where do those both cone from?
So that should clear up the incorrect information.
Because they didn't have there MAIN vehicle line (Mustang) in production. Nothing wrong with different trim models being offered. If they only offered one then it would be stated "why don't they offer more then one model".
Pretty clear and to the point as to why there was a decrease in revenue.
Lets take one of the "versions" of the Tesla away and see where there revenue goes! I am pretty sure it will go DOWN DOWN DOWN.
So with the 2015 in production now, revenue will go UP. Again, very clear.
Huh???
3 different Mustang now???
This are called trim levels not different mustangs.
Last time I checked pretty much EVERY Manufacture has different trim levels and options.
Regarding the revenue, THERE WERE NO MUSTANG SALES FOR THE 4TH QUARTER and limited mustang sales for the 3rd quarter. That is even clearly stated in the filings as well.
Anyone that follows mustang model years would know this and would also know that people were waiting for the 2015 Mustang instead of getting the 2014. Even ford themselves had less mustang sales because of this.
So again, there revenue will go up now with the 2015 Mustang out and being built by Saleen!
Oh my... Ok let me put it into a simple to understand wording since I guess my first try didn't work:
Lets just continue to use the value of the car to be $65k
There is an insurance policy for the value of the vehicle complete... Base car and everything that Saleen did to the car.
Now people get to roll dice to win the car.
IF someone wins by rolling the dice, the insurance policy then pays for the car ($65K) which is what the policy is worth.
Now, lets say no one wins the car by rolling the dice... Then the car is auctioned off. This also pays for the complete car in the end.
So no one is losing money, NO ONE!
BTW, this is the same way casinos do giveaways on cars, motorcycles etc. They also take a policy out to cover the cost of the item... Its pennies on the dollar for the policy.
Its called stock trading...
If you were getting a dividend from TSLA then that would be a big one up.
But regardless, I would rather put $200 into SLNN any day over TSLA simply because I can make money trading that stock much more quickly then with TSLA.
All I'm pointing out is what was stated previously...
Lets look at this:
Invest $200 in SLNN & TSLA
Break Down:
15,3xx shares of SLNN
1 Share of TSLA
Lets say SLNN goes to $.05 Per Share.
SLNN = $769.00
TSLA = Would have to increase 3.84 times the share price of $200 to equal the same
Even if SLNN goes to $0.02 TSLA would still need to be valued 1.53 times more then a share price of $200 to be equal to SLNN.
ANY company is a RISK. Who would have thought GM would have filed BK, been bailed out by the federal government and now is making profits every quarter but left the stock holders of the OLD GM with NOTHING AT ALL!
Not conclusions at all...
You do know how giveaways work right???
Who ever is backing the price of the car takes out an insurance policy incase someone wins the car. If that happens the car is paid for by this policy. If no one wins it, it is then auctioned off at this event specifically. So it is a win win situation for everyone involved and Saleen makes MONEY on this.
That is the truth, fact and conclusion. NO ONE is losing money on this. This will be the third year for this giveaway as well.
Specifically stated in another post:
So all of these educated professionals that have said time and time again the tsla is OVER PRICED are wrong?
I don't think so. It is over priced and a MUCH bigger risk then Saleen... $200 per share is a big risk. The value is what, 20 times earnings currently on Tesla but it isnt over valued?
1. PPS = +$200 for Tesla
2. EPS = -$2.36
Tesla is a HUGE risk and Saleen is a risk as well... ANY company is a risk as an investment for that matter.
Obviously they make money on the giveaway car... They did on the last couple. These comments are just ridiculous!
Hmmm ok...
So its ok for a company like Tesla to have a eps of -$2.36 per share but its WAY over valued per share... Been stated by many experts on TV or even in articles. You have much more to lose if you have shares of Tesla but thats ok? Yes I know... There revenue, there cash etc etc doesn't compare to Saleen BUT it doesn't matter for the fact in a previous post and I quote that "all investors care about is the eps". Well that being said, I wouldn't invest a penny into Tesla if all I cared about was the eps.
In my opinion, Saleen is underpriced and will start to increase once there is more revenue on the books. Proof that eps is not all that investor's look at when you look at Tesla.
So you don't know how they work?
Please explain how giveaways work? Meaning how Saleen or whatever company is givingaway a car gets paid?
Point is that it was stated that its going to hit zero this month or that month many times and it hasn't. Thats the point!
Another thing is it has been stated that many tines thy will be closed which again hasn't happened.
Both of these sound familiar?
So please explain how give aways work?
Rapid but went up last week?
Ya, so "rapid"!
Once the next filing comes out showing an increase of revenue then there will be more interest. Pretty simple.
If it was so "rapid" then it would already be at zero... 12 months ago. But it isn't and won't be.
So rapid it went up last week? Lol
I thought the stock was going to be at zero over a year ago? What ever happened to that???
It is all completely incorrect.
We will see what happens this year and years after. But to make an off the walk guess is completely irrelevant.
All completely wrong. I have stated the facts before MANY times.
He wasn't fired thats been proven because there is not one bit of proof otherwise except for the false information that has no proof to back it.
Just like last year, please provide actual proof of this happening? I can say I won the lottery too but without proof it is just a made up fantasy.
Hancock owned (majority owner) Saleen which is correct. Hancock ran it into the ground AFTER Steve left. They transfered the couple million dollars hey got with the fire sale to a couple different fake companies to hide the money from creditors. So hancock didn't do anything wrong right? Lol
Calculations are incorrect because there is no way to know any numbers at all. Why not just wait for the filings to come out instead of guessing and making stuff up that means absolutely nothing?
Also, we calculate in USD not CAD down here.
The misinformation is not from me thats for sure. Or a few other people around here.
Please remember, the old Saleen was not misdirected by Steve. He owned less then 10% of the company. Yes, he was the face of the company I mean come on now his name was on the cars they were producing. But the investors made the final decision's but with Steve's input.
Again, more incorrect information that I have to point out and make clear of what the actual truth is.
Steve is here to make the best performance cars possible period! Making slanderous remarks about Steve honestly shows the agenda for the posts. It's something personal, not to save the shareholders. People are smart enough to figure out what they should do with there own money. Not to take advice from someone that only talks negative and never anything positive even though there is positive to talk about.
Well I wonder if its USD or cad being used for the calculation?
But I also agree, it is low balled for sure. And I think we will see a steady increase quarter to quarter this year which will help lift the stock price a bit.
Absolutely!
The eps is what matters and should go up when revenue goes up.
I'm not going to speculate what revenue will be. But I will point out the positives of the filing once it comes out because I know that won't be the focus at all.
I have proven my knowledge many times again and again. Also with actual proof of what I have stated. Difference is the specific post about how here was no knowledge until the artists rendering of the Saleen Tesla. I'm not making it up so that is pretty clear the lack of knowledge because it was stated in a post.
He left during around the time of change over from one modelbyear to the next. And yes, the next model year went WAY down in production. Again, Steve was gone and had NOTHING to do with Saleen Inc anymore.
The revenue will be going up now that the 2015 Saleen Mustang is in production. Revenue goes up, the stock will go up. Pretty simple.
You gotta spend money to make money. And Steve had to basically start all over from the ground up. Again, pretty simple to understand!
I'm just pointing ot a previous statement that was made. I'm not making it up. And why it matters is because there is no personal knowledge of the past like myself and others have.
Steve had less then 10% control of his company with Hancock Park. They controlled it and everyone had to agree on the decisions for day to day operations. They had controlling interest so they had a say on what went on more then Steve.
So again, Hancock ran it into the ground. I mean the production stats don't lie! They produced the most vehicles right before he left. Once he leaves it goes straight down. So yes, steve had nothing to do with the bk that happened AFTER he left.
Not hardly...
I remember one so called point that the 2006 production was delayed because of him (which isnt true either) but 2006 was the biggest production year lol
Previous posts have proven that the "opinion" that have been posted are incorrect on all accounts. Thus has been proven by me AND others as well.
As stated before:
!00% incorrect...
Please provide a link to this information... When did they file BK??? Or when did they close??? I know its been stated as an "opinion" for over a year now that they would be closed but that hasn't happened.
Last time I checked the only person that has anything to do with the day to day operations of Saleen of those three listed is Steve.
I have made it pretty clear that the failure of Saleen Inc happened AFTER Steve left.
Regardless I remember a post stating no knowledge of Saleen until they showed the artist rendering of the Saleen Tesla... Now an expert with the past of Saleen Inc???
