Mr. PP I appreciate your interest in keeping investors aware of information that might be extremely relevant. You mentioned that you believe that Chad Curtis was the CEO of Sulja Brothers at some point in time. Have you been able to find anything that confirms this? IF he, indeed was... there should be some record of that somewhere.
Also... with regard to the SRI connection: There was never any question in my mind about there being two seperate companies/brothers.... and that MDOR's involvement was with the non-Bruce Willis associated company. I saw the Bruce Willis connection as just being something to give this industry and that technology some enhanced credibility. Unfortunately it managed to have the opposite effect.
I am going to go out on a limb here and suggest that you most likely meant 3PM not am.... I HOPE.
You have the connection wrong about SUIP and MDOR. The stock was called MAGR and when MDOR was spun off for (I believe) $300k another stock was created... SUIP which was also given to shareholders of MAGR. SUIP never did become "soup".... and is almost worthless. No investors got MAGR for free... Most of us suffered a HUGE reverse split and lost a LOT of equity. None of us thought that we were going to go down the tubes... oh no... we were ALL quite enthusiastic about succeeding... sound familiar?
You're saying that they will film in Jan or Feb? Trust me on this one... there can be a HUGE gap between when something is shot and when it airs. I doubt that anyone has any idea about an airdate yet. Frequently airdates are arranged AFTER segments are shot and producers can get a much better idea of just how "good" a segment will be once edited.
Where have you been, Micky? I could use some help here! Over 70K shares SOLD today. Who is selling... and more importantly... Where is the beef?
This is OLD news. WHEN will these episodes air? THAT would be NEWS
I just had a look at the CEOroadshow website. I took the time to look at the charts for ALL of the interview archive companies.
EVERY single one of the charts for companies on this site are absolutely flailing. There share prices are ALL at or near their bottoms... most of them having had a much higher price at some time. This worries me. WHY would we WANT to be associated with such companies?
The recent blatant pumping has me worried. I am now convinced that there is a problem ... and that we are going to be blasted with it.
Anybody who has been posting here for longer than a week have anything constructive to say about this?
Off to higher prices would require more buying pressure....
My last post was deleted because of the content. I was merely expressing some concerns about the huge increase of postings over the weekend from "new" people... who don't have anything new to say except how popular this board is.
Au Contraire... mon ami...
All you have to do is to click on the MDOR stock price link... right here on this site... then go one step further by clickin on the "trades" tab.... you will see the exact volume per trade and at what price as well as if it was a buy or a sell...
Today's total shares bought 3,861 total sold 66,624.
Only shares I see bought at .32 are two different 100 share trades.. So you bought 200 shares today?
Smurfguy.... There are VERY few buyers "taking advantage" of these low low bargain prices. Have you looked at the buys vs sells volume?
Notice how even though so called tax selling season is over... at least someone is dumping?
SOMEbody is really working this. Over 11,000 shares sold today and most of the buys are 100 shares with one of 1,000. I really don't like the look of this.
When the glass is half full... I see it as such. Somebody's been drinking from that darn glass....
I don't for two seconds see this selling as tax related. I agree that from last year we have come a LONG way. This company isn't even remotely like what it was last year. My point is that the market is not impressed... or the SP would be much higher than it is now. So... what happened? I'm not accepting the tax theory... Who would be selling for a loss right now if they thought this was a good investment? So... I have to believe that there are other reasons... No, not margin calls.... So, what's left?
I sincerely hope that production is ramped up to the point that there is a NOTICEABLE revenue stream in place by the end of our fiscal year. NOT having at least something significant to show for this quarter would be very disappointing. I'd like to know if we are running the machines that we DO have in place 24/7. If not... then WHY NOT? Also... is there some reason that investors can't know what the patents are that we have the rights to use?
One guy asked about this (perhaps in not the most tactful terms) and was basically skewered for doing so. What is the problem with knowing this information?
Waaay too much selling going on for my liking. Over 27K shares sold today for NOT MUCH. Guess 4 bags of buffings isn't enough to generate too much confidence. Where are the Cheerleaders now.... and what possible positive spin do you have today?
I saw about 4 bags of buffings. wonder how much each one weighs... and as someone else asked earlier.... What kind of output are we presently capable of? And... what will 300 to 400 percent more than that be?
Interesting pics....
The first picture is a curiosity to me... What the heck are those? Looks like tires but without sidewalls. Small diamter but rather stout... From a forklift?
Some protective caging around buffers?
Also...in later pics looks like the collection system has been upgraded. More collection containters and aparently with mechanical assistance for changing collection containters.... Seems that the system is also set up to collect increasingly smaller pieces of rubber...down to the finer powders?
Clearly there have been some improvements.
Apparently I don't posess the equivalent of half a brain. How are shareholders being protected by management not answering some direct questions?
I can't tell which of the cheerleaders has a hidden egenda or who simply can't stand the thought of finding out something they don't want to hear.
I didn't see Mr. PP bashing at all. Just pointing out that he has been burnt before by at least one company that appeared to be legitimately on the rise. I THOUGHT that the purpose of this board was to encourage the exchange of information, not to suppress it. I'm sure that I wouldn't be missed on here, but I can't stand much more of the blind acceptance of management doing the right thing without being at all accountable. Clearly I am not that naive. Some apparently are. Maybe I just need to see if there is an ignore button on here. Those that don't like what I just posted, please feel free to ignore me.
I've seen that done a lot in the past. How would you know if they were or weren't?
There is one thing that keeps me feeling at least somewhat comfortable about this company... and that is that there IS an actual facility... with real machines and people. The local and regional Canadian government is fully supportive of this budding company. That does generate a great deal of confidence... however, we MUST deliver. We MUST (and I expect "will") show some revenue by 1st quarter of 09. But, I am afraid that the reason the SP is so low right now IS a confidence issue.
Mr. PP, apparently you aren't on the A list with MDOR management. It is also clear from their repsonse to you that they do read this particular board. I would further speculate that at least one poster on here is just a little bit too close to the company to be objective.
That being said... I AM someone that wants this company to succeed. I would like to know more about the rights to patents.... IF they are registered patents is there a problem letting shareholders know exactly what these patents are?
I think the way Mr. PP was handled by MDOR management is a huge mistake. There will always be those that ask tough questions. These questions should be answered as clearly and honestly as possible. Anything less is harmful to the company and its reputation. Simply NOT answering such questions gives the questions more power and raises more doubt than the questions alone would.
So... I too am asking. Is it possible for the shareholders to know specifically what patents we have rights to? Also... I'd like to know why the second pair of buffers that were NR'd to be delivered mid November still haven't shipped. A simple question... most likely with a simple answer. When a company doesn't deliver what it says it will... I think it's only fair to ask why this happened.
MDOR.... I AM a supporter of the company, but you do need to answer your "difficult" shareholder's questions if you want to maintain the best possible image with your investors.
What is this reference to 10 million shares about?
Mr. PP.... I'm one of the more skeptical people on here, so I take all these NRs with a grain of salt... and you do raise some good questions.
Nonetheless.... clearly they ARE building a factory. The local and regional Canadian government are very much behind this factory.... and there is too much tangible proof of this becoming a viable producer to think that it is a total sham. I think that management IS desperate to raise the SP and there clearly are a LOT of fluff NRs and marketing pieces out there. For the company to grow it MUST arrange financing for this growth.... and the best indicator of confidence in the company is its' SP. In the past... the SP of this company would most likely be 10X what it is today. I am one of the believers that the SP is presently way undervalued and I attribute most of that to the state of the world's economy and trust in financial markets. The sooner we can crank out some good growth numbers... the faster this company will grow and enjoy much higher valuation. Hopefully that will be sooner than later.
The NR says that: "The company plans to ship the NEW OTR Buffing Machines later this week..." I guess these are the two buffing machines that were supposed to arrive mid-November? Interesting that they are designed to handle tires up to 10' in diameter. That certainly is a HUGE tire, and would clearly have a LOT of rubber on it, no matter what shape it is in.
30,000 metric tons of scrap tires... Curious how this works. Where were these tires going previously? What kind of "deal" was made to acquire these tires? And... I also am interested in just how much useable material there might be on 30,000 tons of scrap tires.
You would hope that is the case, but it disturbs me to think that anyone who bought in a LOT lower, as you suggest, would not believe that the SP is vastly undervalued... and wouldn't want to wait for it to go a few hundred miles north.
Looks like more sellers than buyers as of late. Hope to see that trend reverse itself soon. Wonder who's day it was to paint the tape today?
The following is an excerp from the NR dated Oct. 23, 2008. So, my two questions are... how many tons of buffings are we SUPPOSED to be producing per year for our buffing contract? And.. How much revenue is generated from a ton of buffings... (X12,000) This would give us what our almost present capacity SHOULD be. Where'd those other 2 machines go?
"The pre-installation preparation will enable a quick start up and testing, with optimal production reached in short order. The machines have already been unpacked, dismantled, and laid out for quick installation. "We expect to start producing buffings sometime next week, followed by near full capacity of the equipment within the following two weeks," elaborated Boux. The second shipment of higher capacity buffers are anticipated to arrive by mid-November with production anticipated by the end of November. Collectively, this equipment alone (4 buffers) will be able to produce ten to twelve thousand tons of buffings per year. Additional buffers will be added systematically over the next twelve months to increase production as required."
Weren't those 2 additional buffers supposed to arrive around the middle of November?
I respectfully disagree about it being too much to expect. Mr. Boux has been in this business for ages as has Carol (I think that's her name)... they have at least one machine in place if not two and expected to have 4 online by now. For all I know, all 4 ARE up and running... Apparently there is no shortage of tires... so, how difficult can it be to take a stab at estimating output from these 4 machines? These machines should be humming 24/7 asap. They already KNOW what they're paying the subcontractor for nuggets.... and they know what they're billing for them. This is not rocket science.... and... I KNOW that they have some projections about how this will ramp up... or they very simply have no business being in business. Are the projections rather dismal? I'm not expecting a lot in the short term, but I'd like to know WHAT to expect.
And I am in the same frame of mind as Richieboy, Mr. PP. I can't tell you how much I enjoy being able to write that... (the Mr. PP thing, that is). I think Richie sometimes gets a little over the top, but I DO welcome his questioning.
It IS very important to not lose sight of being able to ask the tough questions. Even given the present horrendous market conditions, I AM surprised that the SP isn't significantly higher that it is right now. And that makes me wonder why...
We all seem to agree, however, that revenue is the key. IF the company is making money... the SP will go up! And I WOULD like to have some indication of just how MUCH revenue can be expected in Dec. and Jan. Is that too much to ask for?
Mr. PP... MDOR is BEGINNING to fulfill contracts.... Had to sub out the nuggets part of it so far, and production is ramping up on the buffings, but it isn't clear just how much the nuggets are yielding after reselling... and how fast we can build up the buffings production to adequately fulfill that contract as well. I certainly HOPE that whatever machines we do have are humming away 24/7.
Yes... an update on production progress and projections is something I believe all of us would like to see.
After re-reading the latest NR... I get the feeling that our lately lackluster SP performance has slowed down our ability to attract the kind of financing arrangements that we'd like to have right now. That isn't to say that this won't change, but anyone lending significant money would like to see more upwards momentum in the SP. Markets are clearly in an awful state... and everyone is scared. The quicker we can pump out tons of buffings..... and get some significant receivables on the books...the better. Anyone else get the same feeling about this visit to Magog not quite living up to expectations?
Wouldn't it be nice to have an air date(s) for any/all of the different stories/segments that are supposed to be aired?
Art, don't you think that the market would also respond more positively to some sort of projections? I'd like to see a model of what JUST our existing orders mean in terms of cash flow/profitability. I firmly believe in the "Underpromise/Overdeliver" approach. I know that there are several promising things in the wings.... ANY one of which would/could completely change cash flow and becoming profitable...The entire complexion of the company in fact. Fine, we could then just change the expectations. Right now we just don't have any idea of what to expect, except that there is a LOT going on... we ARE producing some buffings and expect to be doing a LOT more soon. Just having some base of expectation probably would be a very good idea to give present and potential shareholders some idea of what the worst case scenario might be... And by worst case.... I mean simply fulfilling outstanding contracts.
Wow, Richie... when you feel negative you really go whole hog, don't you? I am certainly one of the skeptical ones too, however I do recognize one clear difference between this company and the Mongolian Yak Pasture Mining Adventure.... In this iteration there ARE outstanding contracts... We actually have a factory being built from the ground up to fulfill these contracts. In Mongolia it was really just a hope and a prayer.... We THINK we have a lot of gold in the ground... but that never really went any further.
That being said, I would also like to know what the revenue projections are... and when it is expected that we will be in a positive cash flow situation. It wasn't clear to me from the NR what new equipment was waiting to be installed... I took it to mean the second pair of buffers. Someone else on here believes that it is some yet to be disclosed equipment.
And... I agree that Mr. Glusic was most likely hoping to have a significant announcement on his reture from Magog, but if that was the case, apparently it didn't pan out yet. This last NR really was no news as far as I'm concerned too. Hopefully the next NR will have some substance... We could realy use something meaningful to help put the SP closer to where it SHOULD be.
Anyone get a slick mailer from MDOR?
Today the mailman brought me a very slick promo mailer from MDOR. I'm curious as to how many of these went out and who they went to. I'm assuming that they sent them to registered shareholders, but I would have to believe that they are sending them to as many other people as they can that they think might be potential investors. Clearly significant money was spent on making this piece and postage adds up fast too.
If they are attempting to raise more money to buy more equipment the SP is a critical factor in what kind of deal can be made. I see this as a very positive step by management to attempt to get the SP closer to what it SHOULD be at this stage.
So.. thoughts and/or anyone else get one of these?
Looks like SOMEone wanted a position... 60K in one trade? Surprised that that big a buy would happen without pushing up the SP.
I agree with your evaluation on this one. I am very suspicious of the reasons behind why we are NOT trading much higher than we are now.
Even in my most enthusiastic frame of mind... I couldn't seriously call today's trading "good solid buying"....
That being said... at least someone WAS buying. Looks like someone did want to take a position in the stock... We just need a lot more interest to push this back up to where it was and then to where it SHOULD be.
Wondering when we'll hear something concrete about new business...
amen... ANY followup activity!
