Some interesting new stuff in the presentation. Such as, "we've bought 75% of the mill equipment so far, and that is within budget". Amazing.
I beg to differ. Two drills drilling is plenty when there is a 60 day lag time in getting assay results from chemex. They have whole holes they drilled in late November that they still haven't gotten complete results for. This is plaguing the whole industry and is why UXG went from 9 drills to 2 drills in the matter of 12 months. If you can't get the results you don't know where to drill. And this fact alone makes GORO's consistent drill results even more amazing, let alone the high grade.

If you would knew anything about this company you would know that our demographic isn't Nascar fans, it is high income thrill seeker types and last time I checked there were millions of them to draw on here in the US. I was able to go down to Talledega just a few weeks ago with a group of friends. We fall into the category above. It was the most fun we have ever had, and it actually made me a Nascar fan.
You think the credit crunch has any effect on me and other sound business owners/entrepreuners..give me break.
Sales will ramp big time in 2008. I know enough people that I can make that happen myself through word of mouth...
Oh look its already happening..

It is accretive dilution which means as long as the raise will increase net income on a fully diluted basis it is a good funding which was the case here.
this was very good news today. Funding on excellent terms. Expansion in racing days to 80+ which equates to 5c+ Net EPS 08' when you do the math. This will trade at 30x. Heck, its trading at less then 20x this years earnings of 2cents. Value if there ever was one in a sub dollar stock.
Wow, Forbes must really be bored. Just bought 5000 more.
GORO TBLC AQL.V are the mining names I’m locked and loaded in. I’m a top ten size shareholder in each one, and I believe each will be 300% higher in 12 months. GORO is talked about on this board quite a bit and I’m glad it is. It is probably the easiest money you will make while TBLC and AQL are right up there. Good luck to all of you. This is a very good board.
i don't understand why it wouldn't have held..we are talking about a stock that will earn 2cents this year and probably 2-3x that next year and this thing is trading at 40c. Anything that can grow earnings 100% yr/yr will trade at a 20x multiple and if its a unique business such as DJRT it will trade at 30-40x EPS. Back up the truck if anyone decides to dump this thing...this is free money.
Take a look at the website..so far in Q1 2008 they have 14 racing days compared to 5 racing days in Q1 2007.
this is a 2008 story..my guess is they will earn quite a bit more next year.
looks like they earned about $120,000 taking out non cash charges....not bad at all.
Nice little pop
it really doesn't have that much of an effect...I asked the company that same question. They have been paying roughly $6/gallon (racing fuel) for the last few years. It equates out to $2,000-$2,500 per racing day spent on fuel on average. It is important to understand that this is a Thrill Seekers sport. DJRT's customers are high income folks so it doesn't effect them. In fact I could make an argument that as oil goes higher and people start buying smaller more efficient vehicles, it will likely make DJRT's business soar. As I fall into the above demographic, the thought of racing a 600 hp, 4 miles/per gallon engine, hearing the engine roar, and smelling the carb engine is a very enticing proposition.
no..more like the float is GONE
Yes, they have very little SG&A and with the ability to from 50 to 200 racing days with very little additional overhead, it is a very tight ship with any growth next year falling onto the bottom line.
this looks about ready to move up a notch
nice writeup on djrt: http://www.investorvoices.com/
scoop scoop scoop
I don't expect much spill over from a mild recession since most of the customers are from higher income brackets who regardless of whether their income tax bracket jumps a few percentage points will continue to thrill seek (similar argument to why Las Vagas actually does better during poor economic times).
soak soak soaking up the float..weak sellers out..strong in
come on come down a little more
yes, i managed to snaw a few hundred k between 15c-40c, so I'm hoping and guessing some fast money will exit this week and take her down in the mid 30's and thats where I'll be waiting with size buys.
Hi guys/gals..just found this board. Thanks for the high quality conversation and picks. Been buying DJRT lately. I like management, margins, share structure, and scarcity of the business model.
what a week...hopefully we pull back and build a higher base before we move higher. I'd like to snag some shares sub 40c again.
lol...yes i bore easily
you can hear a pin drop in here
jeeeez, a quiet board today. I must have bought all your shares.
concur with kmike. this goes higher.
