No okie; never did. Merry Christmas!
I have a very special feeling
for Kenny Vaughan. I hired him for his first
professional recording session. He was nineteen.
When they came to town a year ago September, We arranged
to get together after about 50 years. I told him that I was damn
glad to see that he'd "made something of himself."
Joking aside, he's one of three, maybe four players, that have really impressed
me with their ability to play anything, any time, for love, or money..That's not as easy
as it may sound.
That was a well produced (financed) series
of TV shows.
You know, I'm a closet shit kicker, myself.
He loved to fly......
That's a nice song, Larry.
The coming ice age is upon us, it seems.
Obviously, me as well, cap.

The future for you agriculturists with legal
status in your state, is in "tissue culture." This is when
new plants are cultured from cell tissue rather than clones of mother plants,
eliminating the genetic shortfalls/ deficiencies in the strain's
origin.
I hear.
Here in Oregon,
it's rather common, nelson. I believe there are more dispensaries
than Starbucks. But I'VE HEARD, that the deep treasures are not
on public display. Out here they call it "The Private Sector."
Oh yeah!! Gonna get cold!
Or grow it.

Well, surely no surprise to you
but IMO, classic rock is easier to "monetize" than it's predecessor, because of
the inter-connection that developed when it became more valuable to media markets,
and order was restored by big labels after the chaotic frenzy created by the
"pioneers."
Specifically, publishing interests became institutionalized
and that is the "pearl in the oyster" of the music business, Myth.
It's not classic rock. This is real Rock & Roll;
1/2 step away from it's "parents" C&W & R&B (aka race music)
At the time the musical options
were very limited to a restless post war generation. Personally,
I could never get with Patti Page or Perry Como,
and I was disgusted with Pat Boone, who they used to "white wash"
Little Richard's music.
Tha tlittle run
is called "worthy contributors to the fertile mix."
Carl Perkins - Blue Suede Shoes
