Well, surely no surprise to you
but IMO, classic rock is easier to "monetize" than it's predecessor, because of
the inter-connection that developed when it became more valuable to media markets,
and order was restored by big labels after the chaotic frenzy created by the
"pioneers."
Specifically, publishing interests became institutionalized
and that is the "pearl in the oyster" of the music business, Myth.
