Hi Joe,
If some washed-up Broker-Dealer wants to come to iHub to dance, I'm certainly not going to let him lead.
Have you considered giving Ted Turner's office in Atlanta a call. There's always the possiblity he might want to corner the GLBT market since some of his other deals have failed to produce.
I was also thinking that Larry Flint (..who was extensively mentioned in the PBS expose' on Porn last week..) might like something less controversial to promote - since the Justice Department under Bush is all over his case again.
Either of those two guys has the $$$ and talent to buy and run QBID like a real business - and they sure as stink have the connections.
John
Please note; apparently we have a Newbie/Broker-Dealer in out midst on the Hub..:

The 'ex' part certainly makes a lot of sense; Sarbanes-Oxley has been tough on your ilk. Now, you're resigned to take space on the various stock BBS Boards, where you used to give Mickey-D Coupon Books to peons hired to cover that portion of your workload.
Life's tough in the Big City, aye.
John
As true as that may be, it all boils back down to execution. Frank and crew, unfortunately, have yet to do more than make appropriate noises in that realm.
You might perhaps recall the original Olsen rhetoric regarding $10/month subscriber fees, that are now down to $2/month. And, that was comparably a pretty feeble statement regarding the expectations to pick up some of the national GLBT advertising market.
Either Frank has come down with a terrific case of conservatism recently, or all the PUMPERS need to start redirecting the effort to calling MTV and other possible suitors to promote a buy-out.
John
You get what you dish out, Bubba.
You pop in here and pop-off with Newbie sputum, and you'll get a dose right back at ya. Now, you're spamming - so you probably won't last long anyway. Your other posts seemed to have gone away, or didn't you notice.....
John
dao,
A strategy you might want to consider is to look for a good run up, and then sell just enough of your original shares to be left with a healthy Free Shares balance. If you use the gains you extracted to then play the flip cycles, you might add significantly to your Free Shares collection (..that represents essentially No Risk..).
Just a thought...........
John
Hi jarvis,
What a company usually buys is intellectual property, patents, assets, liabilities in some unusual circumstances, existing contracts that are of interest to the buyer, from time to time the retention of some valuable personnel (..scientists-softheads-engineers-inventors-etc..), and occassionally some public "..good will.." - of which QBID has none.
It doesn't really matter if a company is pink, green, purple or NYSE if the object of the suitors desire is precieved to be an advantage to their ongoing operations or intended expansions.
Being Pink is obviously not a PLUS in anybody's book. But, it doesn't preclude a buyout or a Pip-squeak by a Shreck if the acquisition is deemed advantageous.
Hopefully, the suitor is smart enough to leave Fatso stuck with settling all his failure-to-pay lawsuits.... I'd hate to see him get off the hook with all the people he's shafted to get to the point of selling out.
A buyout of QBID by ANY entity with a decent reputation, some fluidity, and an effective management team would be a Godsend at this juncture, IMHO.
John
Dear Newbie (..Saturday, January 31, 2004..),
Welcome aboard. Unlike you, I have no emotional involvement with QBID whatsoever. I neither have postive nor negative "..feelings..." about it, I have my 5+ yers worth of direct inquiries, DD and observations. One of the first facts you learn in investing in "..Under $1 Stocks.." is that they are all presumed to be POS until proven to the contrary - usually by graduation to the NAZ, AMEX or NYSE.
On the counterpoint, one might inquire if are you are a bone head, and perhaps grossly ignorant ...?!? Or, are you just looking for another non-productive, leftist argument to lose...???
Now, the market's CLOSED, so come back and do your thing tomorrow - when you can perhaps get credit for it.
John
The markets are CLOSED, but the pump goes on...........
Palm Springs, Calif., Network Goes Straight for Gay Viewers on Cable
By Joseph Ascenzi, The Business Press, San Bernardino, Calif.
Feb. 9--A Palm Springs media company that specializes in programming for gays and lesbians will launch a cable television network.
The Triangle Television Network, a wholly owned subsidiary of Triangle Multi-Media Limited, will begin broadcasting within 90 days, Chief Executive Officer Frank Olsen said Feb. 4.
TTN, as the network will be known, will be available to about 10,000 cable television companies throughout the United States and Puerto Rico for $2 a month for each subscriber, Olsen said.
Time Warner Cable television has agreed to make the signal available to any of its local system operators that want to broadcast it, Olsen said.
The fledgling network must persuade other cable carriers, large and small, to pick up TTN's signal.
"We're going to throw sand up in the air and hope the wind catches it," said Olsen, who has spent 40 years working in radio and television. "It's a slow business and it can take a while for things to catch on, but we think this can work. The cable networks can send the signal to whoever wants it without offending anyone.
"I'll be happy if we get one subscriber," Olsen laughed. (...Aha, a ray of truth...)
Triangle Television will employ six people to start, and has spent about $6 million developing the network.
Triangle Television could spend another $2 million before it begins broadcasting its signal by satellite.
Triangle Network will broadcast taped gay athletic contests and fashion shows, among other programs.
The network will broadcast 24 hours a day, seven days a week, but much of its programming will be repeated several times, standard practice among most specialized cable television networks.
Olsen declined to discuss advertising rates, but selling advertising on Triangle Network could be difficult, he said.
"I worked for a black radio station during the 1960s, and a lot of companies didn't want to buy [advertising] with us," he said. "This could be the same thing. Advertisers don't want to pick up one gay person and lose two Christians."
Triangle Multi-Media formerly owned and operated two radio stations in Seattle that broadcast gay and lesbian programming.
After selling those stations three years ago, Triangle has concentrated on developing its television venture.
The business was propped up by investors, but the going has been rough, Olsen said. "We've made a lot of mistakes. We rented buildings that were too big and we hired too many people. (...No schmidt, Scherlock - the incompetence really shows...)
"But we're going to get this done. I'm 100 percent sure we're going to get this started." (...Which does he mean, "..get it done.." or just "..get it started.." again...)
Palm Springs, with a history of tolerance toward gays and lesbians, is a logical place for a gay-oriented television network to operate, said Milton Jones, publisher of Desert Publications Inc. and the Jones Agency, a public relations firm.
Jones is leasing space to Triangle Broadcasting in his building at 303 No. Indian Canyon Drive.

Nope.
I'm generally a pretty optomistic guy with a rather long-term view. In QFLUB's case, however, I'm certain that Fwankie can still screw it all up at any moment. He's a bogus, bloated buffoon who has already blown more than a 1/2-dozen chance to get this POS launched over the last four years.
I personally spoke to the CEO of the DISH network in Denver during those "..lie-by-the-minute.." days; who F.O. managed to terminally piss off. I also provided F.O. with a legit money source to pay the $1/4MM "..get-on the satellite.." fee and he schidt it all down the crapper. Meanwhile, his claimed Fag-$$$-source, who said he would finance the deal, blew Fatso off mid-Lunch. That basically proved that F.O. was both morally and personally bankrupt, and dependent on others as of several years ago.
The blubbering Newbies here and on RB don't know jack schmidt about this company, the people involved, or it's BS history. They just sputter and re-post fluffy PRs (..declaring them to be DD..) and pretend they have a grip (..that most likely requires their writing hand to be deftly inserted into their Fruit-of-the-Looms..).
Good luck, and flip it often...!!! One too many butter-coated Lady-fingers, creme-filled CinnaBun cinnamon buns, or an over-exerted hypertensive crapper grunt, and ol' Feahwuss Fwankie's self-serving and over-worked chicken heart could blow a hose mid sputter - leaving everyone with "..Tricky Dicky the Wiener.." (..pud-puller first class..) to pick up the dismally disconnected pieces.
Have a nice day. And, if you're want to play, try not to do it with words - with me. I'm not one of your Jerko-come-lately RB sputter-twits.
John
ps: Sputter-twits are not to be confused with a Sputter-Bugs, which will bring those old lunkers to the surface like a breaching atomic submarine.
Yes.
And, while you & crew hammered the SEC to straighten Feahwuss Fwankie's BS, gross-dilution, stock-cert spraying act out, I hammered his do-nothing do-nothingness and challenged all of his bogus bullflop on the boards until it finally knocked him off stark-staring, perched-permanently-on-the-Royal-QFLUB-pot, dead center.
It will be interesting to see if you remember who RECO'd you this POS when the share price hits a dime; and that hopefully happens before the promised no-R/S R/S that has happened to every other stock El Fatso has ever been involved in.
Just like MVEE, it's a rather fascinating play, aye. I understand that (*)mph may even be back in and making some bones on the run up. Fwankie sure did him dirty the first time around.
Wow....!!!
That will just keep me up all night all weekend and Monday, wantonly slobbering all over the front my Italian armpit T-shirt in frustrattion and bated anticipation. You know old Frank, as dependable as a Rolex, as specific as a specifying engineer, and as truthful as a Supreme Court judge.
What to do, what to do (..non-mousefingers drumming excitedly on walnut desktop..)!?! Tee hee.

Cycle Country Pioneers a New Angle in Snowplow Blades; Product to be displayed at the National Dealer Expo this weekend
MILFORD, Iowa, Feb. 10, 2004 (PRIMEZONE) -- Cycle Country Accessories Corp. (AMEX:ATC), the outright leader in developing and manufacturing select custom-fitting accessories for the all-terrain vehicle (ATV) and other diversified industry products, unveiled their innovative new Electric Blade Angle Kit at their factory. The patent pending kit allows the rider to swivel the blade while remaining seated on the ATV. The plowing process becomes much quicker and more efficient when the angling kit is utilized.
The New Electric Blade Angle Kit will work on Cycle Country's Work Power Universal Push Tube regardless of the blade size or whether it is a manual lift, electric lift or winch lift. The kit allows the rider to remain seated while rotating the blade from straight -- to left -- to right while plowing. A convenient handlebar mounted rocker switch allows the rider to direct the blade angling.
"Cycle Country continues to lead the way in inventive and ground-breaking accessories for the ATV," said Mr. Ron Hickman, CEO and President of Cycle Country Accessories. "This option is a natural upgrade for the thousands of owners who have purchased our blades in the past, as well as a convenient option for new customers. Our distributors' response to our initial announcement has been very positive and we look forward to launching this product at the Dealer Expo 2004."
The angling kit along with other original products will be displayed at the Dealer Expo 2004 industry trade show February 14, 15, and 16, 2004 in Indianapolis, Indiana.

Mooney's Renowned Safest, Fastest Single-Engine Piston Airplane Now Offers Garmin's Glass Panel
KERRVILLE, Texas, Feb 11, 2004 /PRNewswire via COMTEX/ -- Mooney Airplane Company, wholly owned subsidiary of Mooney Aerospace Group, Ltd., (OTC Bulletin Board: MASG) has announced that it will offer the Garmin (Nasdaq: GRMN) G1000 all-glass integrated avionics system on the new Ovation2 GX and Bravo GX models beginning in the third quarter of 2004. The Certification Program is now underway and is expected to be complete by mid-summer. In the same announcement, Mooney also indicated it will continue to feature the current technology panel as standard on the current Ovation2 DX and Bravo DX models.
Commenting on the announcement, President Nelson Happy said, "Our basic strategy regarding any kind of modification or equipment change to the Mooney aircraft product line is to listen to our owners and to the marketplace in general before we implement anything. We do not make changes to our product unless we know that the change is right, that it represents a substantive improvement in the airplane and that it provides added value to our customers."
"As far as the glass flightdeck is concerned, this is a project that we have been working on for two years. We compared and evaluated all potential competitive products and reached the conclusion that the Garmin G1000 was the right product for us and for our customers. The announcement we are making now is the result of years of work and thousands of hours of engineering effort," continued Happy.
Nicolas Chabbert, Mooney's Executive Vice President of Marketing and Sales, stated: "We are extremely excited about our ability to offer the best of both worlds in panel technology. The DX technology panel retains a reliable, accurate and proven presentation of data for the classic sense of flying. The GX Glass flightdeck, with its large screen displays and digital presentation of data, will meet all the requirements of the new generation of flying enthusiasts for whom the very latest in technology is a must. The G1000 is the most advanced flightdeck package available in a single engine piston aircraft today. It integrates all primary flight, navigation, communication, terrain, traffic, weather and engine data on two large 10.4 inch high resolution, glass, displays. The system will ease pilot workload and offers a new level of situational awareness during all phases of flight."
Chabbert continued, "We strongly feel that by offering both the DX and GX models, we have not only listened to our current Mooney owners but have made a strategic product decision that will benefit future Mooney owners."
