Lightwave Logic Inc. Faster by Design
Thx for posting this Goose, this speaks volumes in terms of the confidence levels of top management. ābelieve us, we got this!ā
Lightwave Logic Inc. Faster By Design
"Big money revenue from royalties and tech transfer, with very little OPEX and overhead."
That's what makes this investment so unique, the potential earnings upside is huge relative to miniscule OPEX/SG&A expenses. As mentioned by others, sorta like a little biotech with a huge blockbuster indication in the clinic on the verge of FDA approval and a TAM of tens of billions of dollars for their drug.
Good (long) weekend to all!
Can I order some Lightwave Logic polo shirts? I'll take a half dozen please.
"About 2-3 ounces of Perkinamine is enough to cover 10,000+ chips."
Incredible! Hello margins...:).
Significantly derisked, agree 100% Lebby has charted the course forward, no more guessing and speculating. We know where we stand now and as for me, I could not be anymore enthusiastic about the future path of
Lightwave Logic Inc. Faster By Design
"but the value proposition is so compelling, pricing has not been an obstacle in bringing this amazing technology to fruition."
That's great, reassuring news to here from top management, from 2000 average homes down to 80,000 homes wow, that's huge and will translate into billions in total savings!

Great points j...
Datacenter divisions are booming...LWLG is in the sweet spot to lower cost, increase speed, improve efficiency at a time of soaring utility energy costs that is arguably the single greatest concern for companies going forward. They will have no choice but to modify and adopt what ever cost savings measures are available as bottom line numbers will come under increasing pressure.

Nice summary jeunke22, thx for sharing your work. Tough to wrap my head around the upside potential. ML did say 2022 was gonna be a very exciting year for LWLG. Seven foundries was way beyond my most wildest expectations...nice!
"demonstrating the reliability necessary for commercial deployments"
Kinda sounds like this was a pivotal development in the scheme of things, but maybe it's just me?
I agree on all points PP
Very happy with the pr...this is significant news.
"These photostability results demonstrate both the compatibility with standard semiconductor manufacturing processes needed for security of supply and the high reliability needed for commercial deployments.
Lebby said, "When we talk to potential customers excited about the performance offered by our polymers, the two questions they always ask are, firstly, whether our polymers can be manufactured using standard processes, and secondly, do our polymers have the reliability required to support high network availability and the specified operating life for commercial deployments. With these results - building upon the foundation of our previous stability results - we can answer affirmatively for both - which is very exciting as we seek to make our polymers ubiquitous in the internet infrastructure landscape."
Two big boxes checked!!!!
-compatibility with standard semiconductor manufacturing processes? YES
-do our polymers have the reliability required to support high network availability and the specified operating life for commercial deployments.? YES

Great find Mdk1, Thx for sharing...
excerpt...
What do you need to lead this technology to widespread adoption?
Widespread adoption is being ubiquitous. Today, we see other polymer technologies that are ubiquitous ā such as organic light emitting displays (OLEDs). These polymers are different than what we design at Lightwave Logic in that they send out light (red, green, and blue) rather than switch light. We use OLEDs for our computer monitors, displays for our tablets and mobile phones, and now our TVs. In the early 1990s, I did research on OLEDs at Motorola ā the problems with the technology since those days have been completely resolved. The same level of popularity will happen with our electro-optic polymers at Lightwave Logic. Our modulators that switch light will also become ubiquitous. Our job at Lightwave Logic is to make the polymers assessable to everyone.

Data center growth will be explosive for years to come!
I believe it was on Tues. Halftime Report (CNBC) Josh Brown was commenting on the NVIDIA presentation that he watched in it's entirety and said something to the affect that he was so blown away by the AI advancements in particular, that he likens it to the the very, very early days of the birth to the internet itself. Almost like we are just getting started with this new paradigm shift that heading our way.
Like I've been saying "a technological tsunami is heading our way" and the world is gonna need to figure out how to reduce the energy consumption in current data centers, not to mention the many thousands more that will need to be built! There's no way around that fact!
I love this image from Global Foundries, note the number of HVAC registers in the ceiling (crazy amount) combine the energy draw of the equipment itself with the energy draw needed to keep the units cool and you get can come to a conclusion like this from the article....

"Our polymer materials are clearly poised to not only change internet optical networking, but to become ubiquitous in their use across the internet.
Together, we plan to revolutionize the future of the internet through adoption of electro-optic polymer materials."
It's difficult for me to even wrap my head around these statements...!
The plasmonic modulator performance was compared to that of silicon photonic microring modulators. The plasmonic device, using Lightwave Logic's electro-optic polymer material, was shown to be 250-3000x more stable than the silicon devices relative to operating condition changes. In addition, the plasmonic modulator was tested for 70+ minutes at 100 Gbps NRZ at 80C with no decrease in performance.
"This result showing third party review and verification of stability and high-temperature operation illustrates once again that our electro-optic polymer materials platform is truly world-class," said Dr. Michael Lebby, Chief Executive Officer of Lightwave Logic. "Our polymer materials are clearly poised to not only change internet optical networking, but to become ubiquitous in their use across the internet.
"Through our collaboration with Polariton, we have again achieved world-class results using our material for high speed, low power polymer modulators, and now that the industry has publicly indicated that these types of modulators are key for lowering power consumption in datacenter/telecommunications systems, 2022 is shaping up to be an extremely exciting year for Lightwave Logic," concluded Lebby.
Dr. Wolfgang Heni, Co-CTO at Polariton, added: "Polariton has continued to enhance the performance of plasmonic modulators using polymer technology. This is another step towards our goal for faster optical communications with a scalable platform that is perfect for photonics integration and low power consumption. Our recent performance enhancement of a plasmonic racetrack modulator demonstrates the simplicity of integrating plasmonics, silicon photonics, and organic polymer electro-optics for high-speed and energy-efficient components. We are again pleased to have worked with Lightwave Logic, providing us with high-performance and reliable Perkinamineā¢ chromophores for these world-class results. Together, we plan to revolutionize the future of the internet through adoption of electro-optic polymer materials."
