XRay...I think you're reading Docks' comment the wrong way. An 8% QD solar cell efficiency rating is where the science is at now....the 65% eff rating is a theoretical maximum , which may never be achieved. From what I've read over the years , an 8% eff rating can be of limited use in certain applications , but the when it gets up into the 15 to 25% range , that's when it becomes viable for solar & competitive with exist silicon tech.
Thanx for the feedback from you & Dock ;)

Good catch Kinnaree...this certainly does appear to fit the Liu Xiao profile from the QMC PR very well.
I was a bit taken-aback by just who Xiao is shown shaking hands w/... Michael 'Nobel' (as-in Nobel Prize).
If this Xiao is indeed our connection , he would appear to be great one to have...thanx4that ;)

Not quite sure what you mean about a lack of "transparency"...mngmt has become 'far' more transparent in the last year or more...which can be evidenced in their increasing # of meaningful PR's, & on their website , in the iBox [intro] here on this board & in the media at-large , with interviews like this for instance (one of several):

IP for now...I'm not privy to priviledged info...beyond that, I reckon they know the drill.
Casual observation; a patent is one thing , an actual working device is quite another.
True-that...sidenote; I noticed a tidbit in the drop-down outline of Dr.Stotts' QD-Forum presentation that caught my eye...excerpt;
"For solar PV, integration of these materials into a quantum dot solar cell is backed by Quantum Materials' patented production method for roll-to-roll printing and proprietary cell design. (deployed globally)"
To my knowledge, this is the 1st time I've heard of QMC having their very own 'proprietary [PV] cell design'.

True-that...riding-on-coat-tails seems to be what Dr.B & his buddy, Bruce Hoy @ Genesis, do the best.
Genesis doesn't appear to do or make anything & last I heard , Dr.Bs' 'real job' was working for Huawei.
No problemo...

Jamis...I would think , in practical-logical terms , that a supply of customized QD's would have been included as part-&-parcel of the JDA. 'Development' being the keyword in this context. In that vain , I would submit that QMC has-indeed 'sold' QDots , for profit.
No problem...there are a few other papers about 'broadband' apps for QDots to be found...Google; 'broadband quantum dots'. I've long-thought , since 1st seeing that app a few years ago , that could be a most lucrative area for QDot adoption...& seemingly on a more nearterm basis. Particularly in light-base data/communications transmission in combination with fiberoptics.

Au contraire , it usually (& almost inevitably) would affect the wealth & value of our shares (as proven time-&-again in pennystocks). And (as discussed here several times before)a R/S is not the 'only' way of accomplishing the same goal...namely, an increased valuation. 'Retiring' of unsold shares from the O/S is one tool , lowering the A/S is another. A share buy-back program (as is commonly seen in bigboard stocks) is the preferred vehicle if the need warrants...same goes for enough revenue to justify a Nasdaq-worthy valuation , without the need for share-count manipulation at all. Might even be something to be said for a F/S instead.
That makes one-of-you...I wouldn't ! I'm not alone on that either. And if QMC accomplishes all that's within their sights (or even a large part of it) , they won't need to R/S (excuse the dirty word) to achieve success.
The fact that the latest proxy contains no allowance for dilution or an R/S would support that thinking.
If they were planning on doing it , the proxy would have been the logical time to put it out there.
