novartis is planning to invest 1B in R&D in China, and even if it turns out to be a different company, they're still buying a company in the same business, in the same region for $125 million cash.
Wouldn't that spike speculative interest in this company anyway?

Patents
General
During the last 2 decades CompuSonics Video Corporation (CPVD) applied successfully for several patents and maintained in 1985 from CompuSonics Corporation, Inc. inherited patents with diligence. CPVD owns valid and expired patents in the U.S. and other number of countries. CPVD believes, that CPVD the Company's patents still represent an important and valuable asset, even the expired patents, because the limitation period for patent infringement litigation is 6 years after the patent holder becomes aware of an infringement. In the past CPVD the company hadn't sufficient resources to pursue potentially infringements in an appropriate manner.
During the last years the U.S. jurisprudence acclaimed increasingly the value and justification of intellectual property. This development seems important for the Company in its willingness to protect the rights of the Company's shareholders. In the past the Company wasn't successful to obtain sufficient capital for claiming its intellectual property against the powerful companies, which may have infringed upon the rights of CPVD. The increasing acceptance of intellectual property as an asset and the willingness of the jurisprudence and courts to protect these rights are changing the situation for CPVD. Consequently an increasing number of lawyer firms is willing now to cooperate on a provision basis. CPVD believes that its video data compression is valuable, possibly comparable with compression formats like JPEG. The management and Board of Directors is prepared and willing to cooperate in 2005 with experienced partners and lawyer firms to enforce the rights of its shareholders.
CPVD considers the following owned and maintained patents as important for the shareholder value:

found stanley lai at twitter,
http://twitter.com/stanley_lai/

sounds like a reverse merger to me
you might be right, BBDA chart was similar>
http://finance.yahoo.com/q/bc?s=BBDA.PK&t=5d&l=on&z=m&q=c&c=
reminds me of another internet startup I watched for over a year:
http://bigcharts.marketwatch.com/quickchart/quickchart.asp?symb=fndm&sid=0&o_symb=fndm&freq=1&time=9
I only mention because of the wide range/volatility in price from .10 to 4.00 its already reminding me of how this one is jumping around in price.
business description from pinksheets:
It specifically mentions weatherization programs>
http://www.pinksheets.com/pink/quote/quote.jsp?symbol=remd
Remodel Auction(c) ("AMAF") is a publicly held company, operating a proprietary online marketplace where property owners and municipalities post remodeling projects up for bid to streamline the process of getting competitive pricing from contractors. Remodel Auction supports over 50 categories of common remodeling projects including specific focus on Community Development Corporations (CDC's) that manage State and Local Weatherization and energy efficiency programs as well as solar systems installation by various states enacting mandatory increased use of renewable energy efficiency portfolio standards (REPS).
hit .75x1.00 earlier. I have no clue where this might end up.
so did I.
that's strange. I saw updated data at pinksheets this morning which showed total OS at 4,128,333 which seemed to be post split data.
news mentions installing solar systems, that could be a very good market going forward, given all the emphasis on alternative energy.
good point
In terms of market cap, the math is pretty simple now.
At 1.00 with an OS of 4,128,333 (according to new info at pinksheets) the market cap would be approx 4.1m
at .50 the market cap would be approx. 2m
So then the question becomes, as the business plan evolves, what is the company worth?
I show 6,040 volume, .20x.30, +42%. It appears to be trading today, whether or not many existing shareholders have received shares post-RS from the transfer agent, that's another story. Should be fun to watch!
noticed this on scanner today. it seems like the dividend news from yesterday must be driving it. sorry I didn't notice it a little earlier!
+10%
it usually helps, doesn't hurt, if you think about it, when a symbol changes, and people can't sell their current positions, only buyers can participate in the new ticker for a while.
seems like they've been doing that for days
someone bought 66,666 shares
moved up awfully easy on a few buys. at first I was wondering if there was some news, but didn't see any.
too bad there wasn't any.
maybe the big selloff is finally done for now.
big pullback from .03 peak
maybe it bottomed today
depends entirely on what they do with it or roll into it. from todays PR:
http://news.prnewswire.com/DisplayReleaseContent.aspx?ACCT=104&STORY=/www/story/07-16-2009/0005061476&EDATE=
"This transaction leaves the company completely debt free, with no convertible debt outstanding to further impact our shareholders with the issuance of common stock of the Company related to the prior convertible debt from YA. We intend to rename the public company consistent with its business focus and look forward to rebuilding the company's finance business with a debt free balance sheet."
bouncing. someone sold their shares today apparently
