and I knew better!
"Why don't they target mutation hot zones..."
Precisely. Need to get vaccine in those very areas. As long as there are large populations of unexposed and unvaccinated people, the virus will continue to mutate.
"... then you must be at rock bottom with nowhere else to go but up."
Au contraire mon frère, to be able to have retired with a 7 figure nest-egg, own a condo on a small lake WITHIN the city limits, own a mobile home in Florida to hideout in during the winter, my wife, my health, my friends, ability to travel the world... I consider myself BLESSED beyond measure
"LOL! - you getting ?? on is good luck though right?"
Supposedly (I didn't play the lottery tho and I pro'ly should've )....
...although you wouldn't have thought so at the time after hearing me though... I think I invented a couple of new curse phrases...
Being a West Michigan summer resident myself, you would think that with all the thousands of lakes and ponds to choose from, why would they (geese) choose to hang out in a more urban area? (this is a man-made lake in the city limits btw- both spring fed and retention) I suspect it has a lot to do with the fact that being within city limits, there is no hunting allowed. Our HOA had to put up a fence two years ago to keep them off our grass/lawns. Our backyards were unusable. Buckey mentioned they had problems on their golf course. Makes sense- because geese prefer SHORT well manicured grass (for reelz look it up ) Anyway, the fence is only about 16-18 inches high and we keep it right at the water's edge and works perfectly. They have never simply landed in the yard- ever. Geese are NOT intelligent.
Back atcha!
Glad to have contributed- have a great Thanksgiving my friend!
Lol, that photo and Ottoman's reply got me thinking- I took this pic off of the deck of our condo up north just before we headed south to Florida for the winter. Anyway, shortly after this image, these geese started taking off for their late afternoon/evening feeding and overnight destination and as they lined up and took off (I'm a private pilot and I love to see take-offs & landings regardless if planes or large waterfowl ). So, as I'm watching them take off (towards me btw), I'm watching them climb just above the condo roof level and as they pass overhead, I suddenly realize- what an idiot! STOP LOOKING UP. I instantly look down just as I feel a wet splat on my left arm... I wait to see if there is another surprise coming but it doesn't happen...thankfully lol!
I've got a very short list myself although several peeps here have brought some tickers up that I'm eyeing
"...but AI is relentless on the whole sector."
Spot on
Exactly and well said. How many times have you heard me (seen me actually ) say/post {when the market reacts to whatever news is currently driving sentiment}, I'm just going to back out of the way and let the algos have their way. Until the algos are spent, there is no way to trade unless you play the momentum or have certain stocks/criteria already in mind and then simply take advantage of the algo overplay either up or down. You can't win simply trying to use investor sentiment or logic.
$OBSV I bailed on this earlier this summer. However, it appears we've got a year until the next (known) catalyst. Official impact date from today's News Release:
"The FDA set a target action date of September 13, 2022 for this NDA under the Prescription Drug User Fee Act (PDUFA)."
I won't touch this now- too great a risk for further dilution. They will need to raise additional cash before another year goes by and I suspect they will raise again soon imo. They approved an increase of an additional 11.5 million shares way back in February this year (authorizing their outstanding shares to go to 81.5 million), but according to the last Q, it appears they still have approx 5 million shares left (77 million currently outstanding) to sell into the float. But, I will still keep this one on radar going forward especially as '22 progresses. Still less then 100 million shares outstanding at this time...
Thankfully, those shares cost me (after flipping them several times) the equivalent of a good steak dinner out on the town with my wife. I lost no sleep with that trade
"Still kick myself for not selling my millions at .0001...was holding out for .0002"
THAT'S ME! Holding CMKG (or was it CKMG?)... trying to flip a gazillion shares the tenth time before getting stuck as a bag-holder years ago.. Still in my account as a number... just to mock me I'm sure 😏
I agree KT.. I hadn't really thought of it but I guess that's what's helped kept me here over the decades as well...
THANK YOU!!
What's even funnier, me, having had to wear them for my job for many many years, I've put them on and wore them in stores/restaurants bass ackwards MYSELF! lol!
Agreed.
I'm actually impressed given expirations today and a less then impressed market sentiment that Atom is still hanging in there. I would've guessed that the shorts would've had a field day with it by now...
"...the bottom looked "dirty" - guess the beaver part lol."
Lol, that was good
Ha! dammit
Yeah, saw some other "blurbs" elsewhere suggesting they got or felt the same sentiment that "he was put out about the speed of management", or lack thereof, regarding implementation and/or news.
Same here down in Florida...
$ATOM Tomorrow is option expirations so I don't expect anything above $30 again until after the weekend- well into next week or better imo... (news would negate this opinion however )
What TV show are you watching??
...dude's passionate with conviction if nothing else
Gotta give Lou props- He "liked" the tweet without responding. He's the first (and only at the moment) lol... Class.
$ATOM Don't sugarcoat it- tell us what you REALLY think lol!!
Without a doubt it’s Lou Basenese.

The guy is shameless. Going on Fox Business and saying his top pick is a company that’s never made a sale in its five year existence and has a negative cash flow of 2800%. Atomera $ATOM @LouBasenese
Thanks, I needed a chuckle
I do want to be clear, however, I do NOT think that what transpired is somehow a reflection of the potential of the technology. Personally, I don't think it has a thing to do with the science... Still, I'd like to know more about the "mutual parting" reasons.
Judas Maude!- have you seen the number of tout posts on Twitter et.al posting the "ATOM reaches 300 patents perfecting the atomic level..."??
"Meh, don't know."
Me neither...
I got the impression reading the 8K and the abruptness with which it was put together, that the parting was less than amicable. He's bound by non-disclosure clauses up the bung so it's hard to discern or believe, for that matter, anything in print. I still think further clarification is warranted but admittedly not legally required.
$ATOM Sudarsan Srinivasan sheds more light on his departure from Atomera: Stocktwit
Using all the good word-soup spin; "...realized it wasn't a good fit."
Not sure we'll ever find out the REAL reason(s)...
Yeah, the way that 8K was written, one gets the impression this was a sudden event. They will have to address that tomorrow in some fashion imo...
Could be totally innocuous but it does deserve further explanation.
This has been a tax write-off for the principals for a decade lol...
